Medea laughed. "I think both vould be insulted vith the comparison." Though she didn't mind at all. There was no way she could go back to meditating now. Leaning back on her hands, her chuckles subsided as she let her head hang back, enjoying the sun even more. Now that she thought about it... "Hopefully that's not vot is going through the student's minds during class." She'd rather them focus on the lesson and not vampires, least of all her accent. She knew it could be difficult at times, but she tried to talk clearly. |

Yeaaa. Duck Girl. Probably that did not fit Oichi much, though. So, she was going to think of another nickname for her, later though. Laaaaater. ''Yes, for now.'' she said as she bit inside of her right cheek as she did everytime she gave an once over to someone. What Oichi said next, then, made her laugh out loudly. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... ''No no. Now you are the Protector Angel of Ducks. You know what? That's awesome.'' Narrowing her dark brown eyes, Lea took a few steps closer to the other girl. ''Morbid? Huh? Really? But it is what happens in the nature, is not it? Some bigger creature do always eat some smaller ones.'' That was how Lea saw the word. The bigger -> The stronger. The stronger -> The better. ''I bet those ducks would try to eat us if they were bigger than us.'' Huh? What was her favourite thing to do at Hogwarts? The question made Lea grin. ''I like to make up conversation topics that people don't want to talk about.'' Hehehehe. ''What's yours?'' |
Zack was yet again there, with the duck. He didn't mind coming here and feeding the ducks. He liked them for a matter of fact. He too hadn't got any idea why hews coming here and feeding them. Maybe he liked ducks or just feeding them or maybe just feeding animal he found anywhere but then he should have something to feed them and if he didn't want would be do then? Nothing maybe bring something, who knew if they would find a hungry animal on the way. He came near the pond and looked at the ducks inside moving happily and quacking all the time. He didn't understand if they were fighting or quacking happily. He just wanted to see them. He sat on the rock nearby and stared at one f the duck wuackinga nd moving around the pond and still quacking for who know why. Then he remembered he had brought cookies for them. Do they like cookies? he thought before removing it from his pocket. He took the packet in his hand and removed a cookie from i. and kept the rest in his pocket back. He was breaking the one into pieces and dropping them one by one into the water. He started as the ducks came toward the pieces of cookie and eating and quacking and eating. He felt a smile grew on his face, he didn't even realize for how long he was smiling. |

It was nice that Medea was so understanding. "Nahh." Calista said, waving her hand at the other woman. "They would be thrilled to be compared to you. Could give them a better rep, Im sure." Yeah, wouldn't a vampire want to be compared to a regular person anyways? Yeah...that would suck. "Well you know you can always work on sounding more...local." Yeah that was what she meant. Not-less vampirish or British, just local. "I mean I'm sure I catch some people off gaurd with my American accent here." |

"You can use your wand to start and stop fires? Wouldn't it just be easier to start a fire the normal way and just use water to put it out?" Because, really this whole magic thing was hard. Plan? Right. "Umm, well, chocolate, marshmallows, graham-crackers, and firewood." That sounded like it was all that they needed. So they need a plan. "We could split up, one of us get the food and the other the firewood, or go get the food together." Or, the could just go ahead and start the fire and then worry about the food. That way the could start having FUN!! |

Will raised an eyebrow, eyeing Annablahblah. "What am I doing here? Well you know, I thought I would explore the universe, searching for the perfect duck, and here I am! At Hogwarts! Who would have thought right?" Seriously...and she was in what house? He peered down at her robes, his heart sinking. Merlin's Lost Pinky-toe...she was in his house. Weren't Ravenclaws supposed to be brilliantly minded? He coughed softly, eyeing Tomat-um...Anna. "You must be on that same journey right? Seeing how it would be crazy for people to be here, at Hogwarts, to get an education. Psh...how silly." Facepalm. |

She'd thought about it before, working on sounding more 'local'. Though why she hadn't started trying was a little...mystery. "I'd thought about doing that." Alright, so it wasn't so much a mystery. "It just seems silly to sit there and vork on your...vords." Instead of useful things like research and lessons plans and grading and... ART! Art was important. |
Cardigan walked over to the duck pond, heading over to her favorite spot, the big rock. She loved it there, even though it brought back certain, erm, memories... But who cares? She moved on anyways, partially because she had to. Ella would not tolerate that. Not one bit. Sheesh. The snake would hate to get on her bad side; she probably was... Cardigan took off her Converses; socks and put her toes in the water, letting them get soaked. What a nice feeling, it was, after a whole day of drama, like always. Somedays, she just wished she could shut herself away the world. Like today. And the day before that. And the day before that. And always. Why did life have to be so hard? Why did drama even have to exist? The world would be way better without it anyways. |
*waves* SPOILER!!: Cardigan Ella had been out for a stroll on the grounds, trying to relax before the next bout of quidditch tryouts. She walked over to the edge of the water, deciding it would be nice to cool her feet off for a bit. Removing her shoes and placing them behind her, Ella took off her socks and chucked them over her shoulder. The second year began rolling up her pant legs so that they would not get wet. Then, she plunged her feet into the cool water, a smile slowly forming on her face. This felt nice. After a few minutes of sitting with her eyes closed, Ella decided to look around. She had thought that she was the only one enjoying the pond but no, there was someone else sitting quite close by, someone Ella didn't entirely want to bump into. Cardigan. The frown came immediately, followed by a sick feeling in her stomach, one that came right before she had to face something or someone she didn't want to. But that had to talk, right? They couldn't go on avoiding each other forever. Hogwarts was big but not that big. Removing her feet from the water, Ella turned to tuck her socks into her shoes. Then, with a sigh, she rose from the ground and began to walk over to Cardigan, not sure what she would say yet. When she was a few feet away from Cardigan, Ella cleared her throat and stood there, looking nervous. "Cardigan." She said after a few minutes of awkward silence. "I think we should talk." Not that she wanted to, no, she wished this could wait. |
Laila <3 So now Hogwarts had a duck pond. Huh. Actually, was this here last term? Edric couldn't be sure. He didn't get out enough to know what was going on. Or to get some sun. He was growing frighteningly pale. Figuring it was time he probably fed his skin some vitamin D, the Gryffindor decided he'd catch some sun by the little pond. It seemed a serene enough scene. Ducks. Water. Sun. What else could you ask for? Oh yeah, apocalypse for the entire human race... Buuut that was too much for our little anti-social bug to ask for, so instead he just ignored the world and focused his attention on the ducks demanding the bread he was holding in his right hand. Tearing the bread apart into tiny pieces, Edric threw the bits out into the water, where the ducks immediately caught them. |
*iSH EXCITED TO RP WITH CELEBRITY* Louisa did not know where she was going for two very logical reason Quote:
Louisa was still walking a couple of steps behind... |

Wait, what? Edric felt something on his shoe and, before even looking down, he already knew what was going on. He should've seen it coming. Ducks can be just as sneaky as humans. There was a duck who'd turned greedy and was now trying to make deals with him on the side, wasn't there? That's why it was stroking his shoe with its feathers. However, what Edric saw when he finally looked down - rather impressed by this fictional duck's cunning - was not a duck, but a cat. WUT. Immediately, the boy pulled his foot away. Why was there a shoe-licking cat on the loose?! Didn't Hogwarts control these sort of situations? The boy looked around frantically. He had as little experience with cats as he did with people - how was he supposed to get rid of it? He threw a bit of bread past the cat, but the feline didn't go running after it like he'd expected. Was this seriously happening? Was he being harassed by a cat? Then he saw a girl - or a book with legs - appear in the scene. Surely this had to be her cat. It had to have an owner right? And even if it didn't, girls like cats, so. She could just take it. "Excuse me!" |
Quote:
"Viola, don't move away I see you..." she murmured absently, she'd been warning the cat ever since she left the castle. After that incident of the tree, Viola was not allowed to-- ...huh? Louisa stopped and looked around. Someone called out to take someone's attention. Was it for her? There was a boy standing nearby looking directly at her, with this weird look on his face. Was he scared of ducks? Did the ducks eat his-- Louisa's eyes bugged out of her head when they landed on her own CAT licking the person's show. She snapped the book closed and stomped her way over to the boy, mad. "You! How could you!? I trusted you!!" GRRRR.... she was talking to the cat of course... Viola turned her butt to her owner, had her paws on the boy's shoe now and rested her whole face on it. This was making her owner screech and pay attention to her, that was good. :3 |
Quote:
But then he realized she was actually yelling at the cat, not him. 'I trusted you'? Edric raised an eyebrow. "If you wanted a trustworthy pet, you should've gotten a dog," he pointed out. Everyone knew cats were only in it for the free food and empty boxes they took as forts. |
Quote:
The cat merely meowed twice and licked it again. The Ravenclaw gave him an apologetic look, "I'm sorry about my cat's stubborn obnoxious behavior. She's paying me back I guess... but anyways, can you take your shoe off?" And she was deadly serious. STARE. |
Ancient Runes post :) Taylor wandered around the grounds, trying to find a nice quiet place. She stopped at the duck pond. The place was full of nature and it was peaceful and quiet. It was relaxing here and it would be a good place to consecrate the runes she had carved last term. Taylor had dressed up in an outfit. Taylor thought it was appropiate since she was trying to make the runes sacred like the teacher said. Taylor laid down a blanket and put the runes in the center of it. Tay sat down closed her eyes, and started to meditate. After a few moments of meditating, she got up. Taylor started to chant and dance around the blanket. Her feet and arms were getting tired but she kept it up for at least ten minutes. Finally she stopped chanting and dancing. Tay took a blasket of fruit from her things and offered it to the gods after lighting some candles. She put the basket in the pond and pushed it off into the water. Taylor went back to the blankets and candles and blew out the candles. She put the runes around her neck and packed up the candles and blanket. Tay thought that would be enough to make it sacred and bond to her. She nodded, Yeah... meditation for the times i do yoga and love for dance and singing.... and healthy food yeah should be good.... hopefully.... Taylor headed back to the castle. |

Yeah, this wasn't totally awkward and weird at all. See why Edric avoids the outdoors now? It's like the sun makes people - and animals - crazy. Aaand then the girl was asking he take his shoe off. Okay, there was definitely something in the sun and the outside air now. "What?" WHAT? And what was he supposed to step on - the ground? But the girl merely stared at him. Edric stared back. 30 seconds into the staring contest, the boy gave in with a sigh. FINE. But only because he liked his shoes too much to let the evil feline continue to dig its claws into them. And so, much against his will, Edric balanced on his right foot while he pulled his left out of its shoe. Hopefully this wouldn't take long. Edric didn't like the look of determination on that cat. |

Louisa narrowed her eyes at Viola and stuck her tongue out, "Don't listen to her. She's supposed to be grounded and in the common room anyways." The girl was about to talk some more when she noticed that not both of them were standing on BOTH feet. "Do you want to sit down?" On the ground. "Or if you want I could give you my left shoe temporarily.." she shook her left foot -wearing a yellow flat- to emphasize her pure intentions. |
Quote:
"Oh really how come you didn't?" Professor Elwood sat up eagerly, glad to hear that she had at least considered it. And then there was the reason. "Medea, it's not silly at all. I mean, yeah your accent is unique and pretty but perhaps you can try to sound more local and then just use it while you teach?" Another second of thought before a smile spread on the lips of the blonde. "I can help you if you'd like." |
Quote:
Now that thought hadn't occured to her. Staring at Calista, after a moment she couldn't help the chuckle as she shook her head slightly, turning her gaze downward to the pond. Being taught accent lessons. The thought itself seemed silly to her, though after a few more seconds, her laughter subsided, and she...turned her attention back the divination Professor. Her expression definitely said she was thinking about it. If Calista was offering... Medea smiled. "No laughing, right?" Because she was certain there were going to be funny moments. |

Then the girl was offering to share her shoe with him. "Oh, I'm sure I wouldn't look weird at all wearing a yellow flat on only one foot," said the boy sarcastically. In the end, he had no choice but to sit on the rocky edges of the pond. "Is this going to take long? I'd like to walk back to the castle in my shoes, if that's not too much to ask for." 'Cause, y'know, who was he to want the shoes he paid for with his own money back? |
SPOILER!!: She'll try and spare your sould bahaha Ella noticed the way Cardigan's body went all rigid when she spoke. Not that she blamed the girl. She was sure neither one of them wanted to have this talk that was about to take place. When Cardigan agreed that yes, they did in fact have to speak about that, Ella sat down where she stood. Placing her shoes down beside her. "So I guess I just need to know...know what happened on the platform. I mean, I already know most of it, I was standing right there. I guess I want to know why." Why they had kissed. Why they were so quick to agree to keep it from her. WHY Cardigan? Having finished speaking, Ella looked out at the pond, observing how happy the ducks looked splashing around in the water. She honestly wished she was a duck right now. She could use some fun at the moment. |
