~*Introducing the Muggle Studies Magic Free Fun Zone!!!*~
Across from the Muggle Studies classroom, an older door hides a new surprise set up by Professor Cerulean to further introduce and immerse students in some more of the fun aspects of Muggle Life.
SPOILER!!: Door
When the door is open, you will step into a room that has been charmed to match the theme of the room. Inside this room, no student is allowed to use magic. It is a completely Magic Free Fun Zone.
Every few months (few weeks OOC), the theme of the room will change to something else. During this time, you can RP taking part in those activities.

When you enter the Magic Free Fun Zone room, you are instantly hit with the smell of Muggle popcorn. In the entrance, there is a movie concession stand. Behind the concession stand, is a huge red curtain that is pulled aside. Once you walked through the curtain, you enter a huge movie theatre. The theatre has specially charmed seats that are extra soft.

In the concession area is a long table full of various Muggle Movie treats. There is a popcorn machine with bags beside it that is busy popping new popcorn for the movies. Beside that is a stack of cups and a soft drink machine. Past that is a stack of Muggle Candy, including Nerds, Skittles, Milk Duds, Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts, Gummy Bears, Junior Mints, and Hot Tamales. This table has been charmed to refill everything automatically after you grab things of your choice. Your refills are endless but don't eat too much.
Every week OOC a new movie will be shown in the theatre area. The new movie will be announced each week in this thread. All of the movies are school appropriate.
Movie 1: Beauty and the Beast

Storyline:
"Belle, whose father is imprisoned by the Beast, offers herself instead and discovers her captor to be an enchanted prince."

Synopsis/Summary:

In the prologue, told through stained glass windows, an old beggar woman arrives at the castle of a French prince. The woman asks for shelter from the cold, and in return, offers the young prince a rose. Repulsed by her appearance, the prince turns her away. The beggar warns him not to judge by appearances, but the Prince ignores her and shuts the door on her. The woman then throws off her disguise, revealing that she is a beautiful enchantress. The Prince tries to apologize, but she has already seen the lack of kindness in his heart. She conjures a powerful curse, transforming him into a hideous beast, his servants into anthropomorphic household items, and the entire castle and all its surroundings into a dark, forbidding place, so that he will learn not to judge by appearances. The curse can only be broken if the Beast learns to love another and receives the other's love in return before the last petal of the enchantress's rose withers and falls; if not, he will be doomed to remain a beast forever. As the years pass, the Beast sits in his castle wallowing in despair, convinced that no one could ever love him.
Years later, a beautiful young peasant woman named Belle lives in a nearby village with her father, Maurice, who is an inventor. Belle is seen as "odd" by the other townsfolk due to her preference for reading books. She is the object of unwanted attention from the local hunter, Gaston, whom she perceives as an egomaniac and 'positively primeval', barbarian-brained, lunkhead. He and his sidekick, LeFou, openly mock her father's inventions and her love of books. Belle reveals her feelings of loneliness to her father, who promises her that his next invention, a wood-chopping machine, will be the start of a new life for them both.
Maurice rides off to a fair with his invention, but gets lost and loses his horse as night falls. He escapes from some wolves and desperately seeks shelter from a storm. Cold and tired, he stumbles upon a mysterious castle and enters. One by one, the enchanted household items - Lumière the candelabra, Mrs. Potts the teapot and her son Chip the tea cup and Cogsworth the clock and head of the household - welcome him. The Beast, however, is enraged when he discovers Maurice and locks him in a dungeon in the castle tower.
The next day, Gaston arranges a wedding ceremony right outside of Belle's house and invites the entire town. He invites himself in to propose to her and gives her an image of their life together -- "A rustic hunting lodge, my little wife massaging my feet, while the little ones play on the floor with the dogs; oh, we'll have six or seven [strapping boys, like me]". Belle attempts to politely decline when Gaston corners her against her front door and tries to kiss her. As she opens the door to move out of the way, he falls through the door frame and into the mud in front of the entire town. This serves as a hard blow to Gaston's ego.
Belle, who worries when her father's horse returns home without him, decides to seek out her father. Eventually, she winds up at the Beast's castle. The objects, their hope renewed with the arrival of Belle, show her the way to the dungeon while keeping themselves concealed from her sight. Belle finds Maurice in the tower dungeon, but the Beast catches her. She offers herself in exchange for her father's life, against his wishes, giving her word to remain in the castle forever. The Beast reveals himself to her, and although Belle is clearly terrified, she bravely refuses to back down from her offer. The Beast agrees and releases Maurice, who is taken back to the village in an walking coach before they can say goodbye. Moved by Belle's sadness, the Beast decides to give Belle a room in the castle instead of keeping her in the dungeon. The Beast gives Belle permission to go anywhere in the castle except the West Wing, refusing to explain why. He shows Belle her room and tells her that they must meet for dinner (at Lumiere's suggestion).
Back in the village, the citizens attempt to cheer up Gaston in the local tavern after Belle's rejection by reminding him how in awe they are of him. Maurice bursts in and asks for help to rescue Belle from "a beast", but no one believes him. When one of the villagers calls him crazy, Gaston thinks of a plan to get Belle to marry him. Maurice goes off to search for Belle alone, unaware of Gaston's plan. Gaston and the others arrive at the house shortly after Maurice leaves. Finding the house empty, Gaston orders LeFou to wait by the porch until Belle and Maurice return.
Belle meets the enchanted objects who cheer her up, but she refuses to have dinner with the Beast. Enraged, he tells the servants that if Belle does not eat with him, she will have to starve, then shuts himself away in the West Wing. He sees Belle through the magic mirror, who angrily cries that she will have nothing to do with the Beast. Melancholy, he watches one more petal fall from the rose. Ignoring the Beast's orders, Lumiere, along with the other servants, welcomes Belle warmly and entertains her with an elaborate dinner and a show. The famous ballroom dance sequence. After dinner, Belle asks the servants for a tour of the castle. Lumiere and Cogsworth happily oblige, but Belle manages to sneak away from them and penetrate into the forbidden West Wing, where she discovers an extremely disarrayed and desolate room, a slashed portrait of a handsome man with strangely familiar blue eyes, and the enchanted rose. The Beast finds her there and frightens her with a terrifying display of temper. Belle flees the castle, disregarding her promise to the Beast, and, in the dark forest, is attacked by wolves. The Beast appears and fights off the vicious creatures, but is wounded during the fight; a grateful Belle returns to the castle and, while tending to the Beast's wounds, thanks him for saving her life. Over some time, the two start to become friends. The Beast even gives Belle "ownership" of his immense library. The household items are excited and optimistic that Belle may fall in love with the Beast and cause them to become human again. The relationship reaches its climax with an elegant dinner and ballroom dance.
After the romantic evening, The Beast notices that Belle seems melancholy. She tells him that she wishes to see Maurice again, just for a moment. The Beast takes her to the West Wing and gives her the magic mirror, explaining that it will allow her to see anything she might desire to see. Belle asks if she can see her father and the magic mirror reveals that Maurice is lost and sick in the forest. The Beast, having fallen in love with Belle, releases her to rescue her father and also gives her the mirror so that she may look back and remember him. Belle hurries off, finds Maurice and takes him back to the village, where a mob gathers to take him to the asylum. Gaston offers to have Maurice spared if Belle agrees to marry him but she still refuses. Belle uses the magic mirror to show the Beast to the villagers, who become frightened at his hideous visage. Belle assures them that the Beast is kind and gentle, and that he's her friend. Out of jealousy and anger, Gaston tells the mob that Belle is as crazy as her father. Belle disagrees and calls him the real beast for wanting to kill him. She tells him off that she sees him as nothing more than a sexist, narcisstic, rude, obnoxious and selfish jerk. Insulted, Gaston rallies the villagers to storm the castle and "kill the beast," convincing them that he is dangerous to the entire town. To prevent Belle and Maurice from warning the Beast, Gaston has his men lock them in the cellar of their home.
With the help of Chip the teacup, who has stowed away in Belle's satchel, Belle and Maurice escape from the cellar using the invention and rush back to the castle. The villagers force open the door, but Lumiere leads the servants in defense of the castle. Gaston deserts the battle to search for the Beast. The servants eventually manage to drive the villagers out of the castle.
Meanwhile, Gaston finds the Beast alone in the West Wing and attacks him, throwing both of them outside on the balcony and rooftops. The Beast does not defend himself because he has given up hope of being able to see Belle again. As soon as he sees Belle arriving at the castle, calling out for him, the Beast gains the will to fight Gaston. A heated battle ensues between the two, culminating when the Beast grabs Gaston by the neck and threatens to throw him off the roof. Gaston begs for his life, and the Beast relents, softened by his love for Belle. He tells Gaston to leave and never come back, and then throws him aside. When the Beast climbs back up to the balcony where Belle is waiting for him, Gaston stabs him in the back, then loses his footing and falls into the deep chasm far below, signalling his death.
Belle tries to reassure the badly wounded Beast that everything will be fine, but he knows that his wound is fatal. The Beast tells her that he was happy to see her one last time, and dies succumbing to his injury. Belle, in tears, whispers that she loves him, just before the last petal falls from the rose. The spell is broken. The Beast, brought back to life, is reverted to his human form, unrecognizable until Belle looks into his blue eyes. The castle becomes beautiful again and the enchanted objects turn back into humans. The last scene shows Belle and the prince dancing in the ballroom while her father and the objects watch and they live happily ever after.

Please grab some refreshments and head into the theatre and find a comfy seat. Once you sit down, the muffliato charm will silence your conversations from those around you so have fun RPing throughout the movie without a worry that you are going to bother or interrupt the movie for others.
NOTE: This is not a snogging/makeout room. Remember that Professor Cerulean will be dropping in throughout the movies so keep in mind that you are always being watched. Feel free to RP yourself grabbing goodies and watching the movie and talking and such. Have fun with this! You can RP when the movie starts, etc. There will not be posts guiding everyone through the movie. This is just a fun room to add something else for you to RP in.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

"Of course i would come!" he laughed , missing the blush on her cheeks. "You're my friend , right?" there was something odd about saying the word friend. If she was just a normal friend then why did he keep having these odd feelings? He didn't feel the same way when he talked to his other friends that were girls...
Trying not to think about it, Daichi looked at the big screen. It was a good thing that he was a halfblood and there knew what this was. He had not been in the theater last few years when it was at school. "What movie is going to play?" yes, he had only come here because Indy had asked him. He still had no clue what the movie was though.
Jonathan was startled when Louisa gave him his share of popcorn back. He couldn't really say no to it and he doesn't even know why. He starred at it for the whole 3 minutes... So this is popcorn. Where's the corn? And how does it pop exactly? Does it when you start chewing it and eating it? Louisa seemed to like it a lot so maybe there was something to this treat that fascinates her a lot. Jonathan just nodded rather than answering her. He's still not going to eat it though... not even a few. Jonathan was really not having the appetite to eat. Perhaps, later?
As she started explaining to him the movie, Jonathan switched his glance over to the movie. He saw the brunette girl and her name is Belle. French for beautiful and because she is. Brunette girl that loves to read books, somehow stubborn when she was asked to eat in the castle?--- She minds her a lot of his best friend, Jeanne. Another smile was stuck on his face as he remembered her. She was gone but it was alright. Jonathan misses her already, so much. If only they were allowed to apparate from one school to another he definitely would.
Then Jonathan eyed the beast in the castle... "Is that werewolf? Or an animagus?" Jonathan couldn't stop himself from asking that. He knew the creature owned the place but why was he in that form? Unless he is a) a werewolf, which is impossible because there are no full moon on the screen and plus werewolves tend to be very violent for no reason. OR b) an animagus, that must be it right, no??? Jonathan just looked even more confused with the story.
But when Louisa wasn't able to answer right away, his looked at her. She seems to be eyeing someone in the room. Jonathan didn't bother looking at the same direction because obviously, the place is too dark and he doesn't really know who she is looking at. Instead he just waved his hand in front of Louisa's face "Who are you starring at?" wait, was she "Are you day dreaming?" she seemed to be dozing off.
Blink blink.

Louisa looked at Jonathan, who was now expecting something from her and waving his hand in front of her face. She blinked once or twice at the movie screen before his words made sense. "Oh, oh!" She laughed, "I thought you were asking about Lewis... being a werewolf or an animagus." Because that was who she was thinking of at the moment he asked the question. Hehehe, silly. "He's the one sitting over there. I just saw him."
As for his question, the girl chuckled replying, "No, no. Neither the monster nor Lewis are those options. You see..." Louisa didn't even bother looking at Jonathan all this time, she merely leaned sideways to get closer to him and explain everything without bothering the people surrounding them. "He's a prince... a charming obnoxious one but he was cursed by a witch. She turned him into an ugly monster that mirrored his true dark soul and nothing would give him his body back but true love." Belle was now crying in her room, Louisa went on with her story, "He's got short temper, too. And when the last petal of the magical flower that the witch had given him falls down... the curse will be stuck with him forever." Did Jonathan think she was talking about Lewis? Because she might've forgotten to determine who the 'he' referred to. Oh well.
Popping the last popcorn bits into her mouth, Louisa streeetched herself over Jonathan's lap and grabbed the snack bucket he'd clumsily thrown to his OTHER side. Hmph. She tossed the bowl of popcorn to the side, it was time for some CHOCOLATE. Yay. She grabbed a random candy and started struggling with it to get it open... her eyes catching more familiar faces, "Oh! There's Paulie and Evelyn here too..." she spoke, half of the candy paper stuck in her mouth as her teeth dug into it trying to tear it open. Grrr...
SNAP!
She bit into the chocolate and started talking again, "See those moving talking furniture? Those were footmen and maids in the mansion before the curse. But they were turned into those shapes when their master got cursed. I love Lumiere the candelabra." She grinned at the screen.

Yaay. Popcorn. Indy smiled, taking it from him, and placing it onto her lap gently. She didn't want to drop the yummy tasty treat onto the floor. She was his friend. "I am?" Wait. Why was that like a question. "I mean...I am..." She giggled, blushing a bit more, but covering it up by eating some popcorn. She liked being his friend. He had gotten her pop corn, so that must have meant that he was a very good friend.
Ooh. Daichi didn't know the film. This was good. Hopefully he wouldn't mind watching a disney film, especially when it was a bit girly. "It's Beauty and The Beast." She mused, with a big smile. "I love this film so much..." Indy nodded with a big big smile. Indy didn't quite make the connection that Daichi not really knowing what the movie was meant that he had probably meant he had just came because she had asked him.

"Fank you!" Blue inclined her head in an another curtesy/bow thingy-ma-bob. She looked like her favourite princess!! "You do too! ...Even though you aren't wearing a princess dress." Blue said, giving Eve a slight reproachful look. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS WERE PRINCESS DRESSES. Jeez. "Good. ...'Cause this is my only princess Belle dress." She smiled, smoothing down inexistent creases on the yellow dress.
Evelyn couldn't help but grin at the younger girl. "You're welcome." Huh? She looked like a princess as well? "Nah. You look way better than me...and, i don't really have a princess dress." Unfortunately. She laughed when she looked at Blue's face. The younger girl looked like Eve had done the most horrible thing in the world by not wearing dress. Anyway. "Just make sure you don't trip over it again." Evelyn directed a another smile at Blue.

"Yeah, I like it. It's cool," Paulie nodded, leaning back a little more to take advantage of the cushy movie theater chair. "Definitely a lotta responsibility. I guess it's good for me, though." Maybe he needed this. And he hoped that he was doing a good job for everyone else's sake. He took a handful of his own popcorn and munched on that. When he was done with his mouthful, he spoke again. "What about you? The prefect thing goin' all right for ya?"
Good, no Heimlich today, then. Hmm? Like wha--? Oh, the movie. He sort of half nodded, half shrugged. "Sure. Although I haven't seen it since I was little, and I reckon that I probably liked it better then." Not that it wasn't still a good movie, of course. "I like the clock and the candelabra," he grinned. Responsibility was good for everyone, right? Evelyn nodded and continued to eat her popcorn. Wow. She looked down at her tub of popcorn and it was nearly empty. She'd finished a gigantic tub of popcorn in less than thirty minutes.That must be some kind of a record. "Yeah, it is." She laughed quietly when she remembered how psyched she was when she received the letter. Hufflepuff Prefect..wow. She hadn't been expecting that at all. "Sucks that this is our final year though."
Hm, nice. "It's one of my all-time favorite movies." Evelyn smiled. This brought back so may childhood memories. She used to watch loads of Disney movies growing up..sigh. She popped another popcorn into her mouth, still lost in thought.

Earth to Louisa? Are you there? Jonathan was getting worried that she's not responding for awhile when most of time she was the one who's talking a lot. Did she hear it? Did she hear his question about the character and why is he a creature on that movie? Or did she just suddenly dozed off? Jonathan was about to repeat his question to her when she, out of nowhere, mentioned the one name... that one name... that makes Jonathan tick for sooooo many reasons.
Lewis? WHERE?
His eyes darted from each student right now around the cinema. He was here all this time? Oh the day just keeps getting better isn't it? Jonathan's blood pressure and pulse rate increased hearing that name. He narrowed his eyes, not answering Louisa back. She didn't know the whole story yet and if she keeps handing him out more stuffs then maybe, at the end of the day she'll just know it.
He crossed his arms once more and looked around, Lewis is not a very familiar person to him and even his face is can not be identified by Jonathan. So he slouched on his seat, he can still see the back view of each student and the on-going movie. "Lewis, huh?" he said in rather louder tone, making sure that he could hear his own name. Oh yeah, that was a response for Louisa as well.
And then again she said his name again as she described the whole agenda with this creature for this certain scene. He's still listening to Louisa though but his eyes were still searching.
"So he was turned into a monster because he was a bad person?" Jonathan asked in a confused tone again. He somehow remembers the movie a little bit. Jeanne had told him once or twice about this story--- technically, Jeanne told him a lot of stories that he had never really bothered to listen to. Curse him for that. He should have tried listening to her. Grrr. At least now, the story wouldn't be too complicated to him.
And another thing he had learned about Louisa again today, she eats anything too. WHICH IS NOT a bad thing but he just finds really funny. He has never joined him to dine with her, not once since they started to know each other. So seeing her right now and eating the popcorn and now the chocolate, it was really refreshing. She moved on to a couple more of people in the cinema, namely Paulie and Evelyn. "Really?" Jonathan said straightening up his back. He has never noticed anyone with the dimness of the room. "maybe we could go say 'hi' later" Jonathan uttered. He only knows Evelyn though and has never been acquainted to Paulie.
The next scene in the movie where all these stuffs in the castle are alive and was rooting for the girl, Belle. Louisa seemed to tell him more about it as well. Jonathan nodded as she introduced another batch of characters, the first is Lumiere. Weird though, "Are they also cursed?" he said smiling a bit, because all of them can talk and walk and sing and dance.

And then again she said his name again as she described the whole agenda with this creature for this certain scene. He's still listening to Louisa though but his eyes were still searching.
"So he was turned into a monster because he was a bad person?" Jonathan asked in a confused tone again. He somehow remembers the movie a little bit. Jeanne had told him once or twice about this story--- technically, Jeanne told him a lot of stories that he had never really bothered to listen to. Curse him for that. He should have tried listening to her. Grrr. At least now, the story wouldn't be too complicated to him.
And another thing he had learned about Louisa again today, she eats anything too. WHICH IS NOT a bad thing but he just finds really funny. He has never joined him to dine with her, not once since they started to know each other. So seeing her right now and eating the popcorn and now the chocolate, it was really refreshing. She moved on to a couple more of people in the cinema, namely Paulie and Evelyn. "Really?" Jonathan said straightening up his back. He has never noticed anyone with the dimness of the room. "maybe we could go say 'hi' later" Jonathan uttered. He only knows Evelyn though and has never been acquainted to Paulie.
The next scene in the movie where all these stuffs in the castle are alive and was rooting for the girl, Belle. Louisa seemed to tell him more about it as well. Jonathan nodded as she introduced another batch of characters, the first is Lumiere. Weird though, "Are they also cursed?" he said smiling a bit, because all of them can talk and walk and sing and dance.
"Mhhmmm... we've been friends for a short time, really. But I think he's cool." Louisa was now using her both hands in licking the candy bar's paper. She didn't go all gaga over snacks like this usually but recently she seemed to have something for chocolate. Maybe it was Selena and her crazy chocolate-ifying campaign? You know, touching people and turning them into chocolate addict? Heh. Cool.
Nodding her head at Jonathan's explanation - which really was the same thing she'd just said - the Prefect elaborated, "Yes. He has to find someone who loves him for who he is rather than who he looks like, for the curse to break. And before the petals of that magical flower fell completely." She threw the paper into the empty popcorn bowl and fished out another snack off the bucket in her lap. What was this? HMMM. She brought the bag closer to her face and examined it, "Oh! Those are cool... here.." she started attacking the bag to open, "This is small balls of sugar that start exploding in your mouth once you put them in. Let's try some." She grinned at Jonathan, he could use some cheery snack.
Louisa poured a couple of exploding candy on her palm and then with her other palm she caught Jonathan's hand and placed the candy balls on it. "Don't panic, they're really delicious." She didn't really see if he had any popcorn since it was dark... but he better not throw the candy balls into the bowl of his because if Louisa found out later.... it'd be ugly.
She threw two of those into her mouth and started sucking on them as they started simmering and snapping in her mouth. The girl tried hard not to laugh as she placed one hand over her mouth and waited for the whole fun-torture to end. When the candy was gone, she glanced sideways at Johnny. "Want some more?" Oh, she was enjoying this day.
On with her movie lecture, "Yes, they are cursed on account of their bad master. See that's Cogsworth, he's the clock and like... the master of manners. He makes sure everything's in order." She started opening some other bag, hopefully marshmallow. "Mrs. Potts is the lovely old lady that treats Belle as her daughter. There's Chip, her son, who's clueless all the movie long and very adorable.." she chuckled at that and snatched a marshmallow out of the bag. "You like marshmallow?"
The monster in the screen, then, roared at the girl in her room. Louisa flinched at the loud voice and hmphed. "He just asked her to join him to dinner and she refused. You see, his servants are trying to get her to love him because they don't have much time to reverse the curse. If they don't get her to love him in time, they'll stay cursed forever." She started munching on her marshmallow, "Yeah, sure. We can say hi to Lewis, Paulie, and Eve later." Would she find jelly beans in this bucket too? Louisa's eyes started scanning the bags as closely as possible.

The second year also noticed the Hufflepuff prefect and decided to greet him. She hadn't really ever spoken to the older boy but figured now was as good a time as any. "Hi Mr. Prefect, sir." She said, smiling shyly. She knew the boy was named Lewis, or so she had heard, but she felt like she owed him some kind of respectable greeting.

Of course, most people knew who the Prefects were. Only now, HE was one of them. "Y-yes, I am." He confirmed her assumption, still blushing a tiny bit as it slowly sunk it. He really was Prefect. And people were recognizing him. He was famous!
Was he that bad an actor? Probably. Especially because he hadn't been trying too hard to look excited. Mostly because he hadn't been entirely sure what he was supposed to be excited about. Oh, but she HAD been talking about the movie. "Oh, really? It looks..." Somebody was being transformed into a monster right now. A hairy monster. "...interesting." Kind of. If only he knew why he had been transformed, then it would have made a lot more sense to him.
Also, was he the only one whispering? His eyes flickered back to the girl sitting next to Sarah who looked...vaguely familiar. She was a Hufflepuff. And she had just.....had she just....called him Sir?! "H-hi." Lewis was too dumbstruck by the way she had addressed him that he wasn't even in any position to correct her. Mr. Prefect? Sir?! Really?!?!
Lewis' gaze had drifted off towards Kurumi again for a moment, only to be back on Sarah when she asked him if something was wrong. Why would she think that- Oh. He had followed her gaze which was also on Kurumi now. Swallowing once he just shook his head, maybe a little too forcefully, and replied, "N-no. Everything's fine." The Gryffindor Prefect looked better too.
Or had until all hell broke loose.

Watching the scene unfold with his eyes widening more and more the longer he watched them, Lewis felt torn between intervening and maybe somehow managing to distract Kurumi enough so she wouldn't notice Jonathan and just staying where he was. He went with the latter since he didn't know if HE was the best person to be distracting Kurumi right now. Or Jonathan. Who ever would have spotted him first. But as it were he just stayed in his seat, biting his lip nervously.
Selina seemed to have managed to get the situation under control again though somehow, seeing as both Louisa and Jonathan left the two Gryffindors alone again. Not before Kurumi had noticed them both, however, and he more felt than saw the way she went all rigid again. Lewis actually gasped when all of a sudden she met his gaze and said his name. His heart skipped a beat as he stared right back into her eyes but the moment was over way too soon, leaving him looking at her head for a second longer, secretly wishing for her to turn back around. Only she didn't. And it was probably best that way too.

Lewis tried to keep his focus on the movie again, but after a few moments of not really getting what was happening he ended up glancing around the room again, wondering for a moment where Louisa had Jonathan dragged off to. They were no where in sight which made a sigh of relief escape his lips. That was good. That meant that Kurumi wouldn't be able to see them either. Maybe they had lef-
That was the moment somebody said his name. From somewhere behind him. And naturally - being the good Prefect that he was - Lewis turned around to see if anybody needed his help or something. If only he had paid better attention to the way the voice had sounded, he might not have found himself so surprised to be looking at Jonathan as he did now. And it was definitely him. He recognized him, seeing as the room wasn't as dark right now while he could hear somebody singing in the movie behind him.
Oh no.
For a moment a look of panic flashed across his face which was soon replaced by shock. This was...just...what was he supposed to do? Somehow he couldn't get himself to just turn around again and pretend nothing had happened. What if Jonathan chose to do something? Attack him from behind maybe. Or...at least there was something that was keeping him from averting his gaze from the other boy's, while he fell back into his usual habit of chewing on his lower lip. What was he supposed to do now?

Gary was bored and quiet sleepy too. He wasn't too interesting about this movie. He just spent his time by popping the popcorn to his mouth and sipping his pepsi. Popcorn and pepsi, at least both of them could heal his boredom. But he was too lazy to pick more popcorn and he didn't have anything left again. He rested his head at the chair, he didn't realize that suddenly he felt asleep and was snoring. Good.

Ella smiled, understanding exactly what Alex meant about school being fun. She thought so too. "School is fun and Hogwarts is starting to be home too, which is nice." To have one home was great but to have two felt down right amazing. The second year giggled when Alex said she didn't study all the time. "That's a relief, it would be quite hard to study all the time! Then you wouldn't be able to see movies or eat junior mints!" And what a crime that would be.
Ella hadn't expected the hug from Sarah but it was a pleasant surprise. This meant what had happened at the playground was more of a funny memory than a traumatic one. She giggled at the Lion's wrath comment, her hands raised in the air dramatically. "Thank Merlin for that! I hear the lion's wrath is the worst." Heh.
Ella found herself laughing again when Sarah said that Beauty and the Beast was about beauty and the beast. "Really?" She said sarcastically, a smile on her face. The smile stayed there as Sarah explained that she was a muggleborn and had experience with muggle movies and books. At her question, Ella smirked. "What has two thumbs and is also a muggleborn?" The second year raised her thumbs to her chest and giggled. "This girl." Yup, she was a muggleborn too! "I love Beauty and the Beast though The Little Mermaid has always been my favorite childhood movie." True Story.
Ella watched as the Lewis seemed to be trying to comprehend why she had greeted him like she had. Uh-oh, had she said something wrong? His shock kind of left her feeling a little uncomfortable as she didn't really know what to say next for fear of saying something else wrong. When he did return her greeting, she gave him a small smile and studied him curiously. "I-well I just wanted to say that I think you'll make a great prefect this term." Not that she had any basis for a statement like that but this guy did seem well liked as far as Hufflepuffs were concerned and that was good enough for Ella. He seemed distracted though and Ella hoped she wasn't taking up too much of his time. He probably had prefecty things that he should be doing and older friends he would rather be with.

Zhenya kept her eyes on the screen, and she was really enjoying the movie. It was a good one, really similar to a lot of the other movies her mother used to make her watch.
She kept eating her popcorn, and sipping the ultra sweet drink Gary got for her. It was nice, and it was a nice mix with sweet and salty. Just the way she liked it.
She was really concentrating on the movie when she heard someone close to her start to snore. Wait... Looking next to her she saw it was Gary! She started laughing before poking him lightly in the stomach to either wake him up or stop him from snoring!

Suddenly stuff was happening so fast that Selina could barely keep up with all of the excitement. She was too focused on not so politely telling Louisa that it would be better if she left. There was no way that Selina was going to let Kurumi get upset, not while she had the power to keep at least some come control of the situation. How could Louisa be SO INSENSITIVE? It was as if she did not even care that she was poking a very raw and new wound. Kurumi and Jonathan had only recently broken up and that was the type of thing that took time, a lot of time in their case, to fix. If they could ever make up it would be a long time away. But for right now she was going to make sure that no one hurt Kurumi, even if that meant she had to hurt Jonathan, mentally or physically, whatever it took. Best friends duties were an intense job.
Then she suddenly was snapped to attention when Louisa pointed out that Kurumi was going to faint. Selina, not meaning to be rude, waved Louisa away as she attended to her best friend. There was too much to deal with right now and having Jonathan there was not helping anything. When she looked upon Kurumi though she saw how wet her friend's eyes were and how she was slowly retreating into her shell.
Selina could have thrown something. After all of the energy and time that Selina had invested in getting Kurumi up and moving, one moment... one person had shattered all of her hard work. She seriously contemplated screaming. There was a moment, no matter how brief, that Selina felt as if Kurumi was back. She was eating and almost laughing and being herself. It was so nice to have her back. Now she was gone. Gone as quickly as she had come.
The redhead wrapped her arm around her friend's shoulder and pulled her in close so that Kurumi could fall apart in the safety of Selina's arms. Even if she wanted to hide Selina would let her. Maybe movie day was not such a good idea... perhaps they should leave. MERLIN SHE WAS SO CLOSE! It was so sad and Selina wanted to curse everyone in the theatre for doing this to Kurumi. Couldn't she have ONE DAY of normalcy?
To make matters worse then Kurumi broke away and said another name. The Quidditch Captain turned her gaze to Lewis and saw him sitting there in the same theatre. Her eyes widened at all of the players in the room. There was no way that she was going to help Kurumi through this hard time if the people who caused the problem kept showing up.
She leaned over to Kurumi and whispered, "Do you want to leave?" Maybe that was best.

"You are so right", Alex said with a laugh. "That would be sad." Alex had finally begun to think of Hogwarts as her second home too. A place with kids just like herself, where she didn't stand out. She was making new friends this year too. That made school even more fun.

Maxwell shrugged. "Dad got married...To Taylor's Mum...It's made things a little weird." He said still whispering. "I'm glad you got to go back to Canada, how were your parents?" He asked remembering she didn't get to talk to them last term because they didn't have an owl. Maxwell smiled widely when she said she still wanted to be friends. "Really? I've missed you, I thought about you a lot over the summer, I would have written but i didn't think my owl would fly all the way to Canada..." He whispered in her ear, closer than he thought he was and hugged her closely, he was happy she wanted to stay friends and was caught in the moment, not realizing this close of a hug wasn't normal for a boy with a girlfriend.

Jory was actually watching this movie for the first time. Sure, he knew the story by heart but he had never watched it because he always thought of it as a girl movie, so he couldn't understand why he was watching it now.
Jory had to agree however, he was enjoying it so far. It reminded him of his sister, who was always watching one of these princess movies. Scooping some more popcorn into his mouth, the boy turned his attention fully back to the movie.

The blonde guy still felt asleep and snored. Suddenly he felt someone had poked his stomach. Huft, who dares to wake him up, huh? Gary never liked someone who wake him up while he was asleep. Then he woke up quickly and noticed that Zhenya was the one who dare to wake him up?
"What?" asked him cold. He sipped his pepsi again and rested his head. Too bad he didn't bring any apple to this place. Now what could he do? The movie was not interesting and this girl disturbed him while he was sleeping. Now he started to sleep again.

Beauty and the beast? "I think i heard about that movie before" Daichi answered as he frowned a little in thought. Where he had heard it before he couldn't remember. Neither how the movie went but after seeing her big smile , Daichi automatically smiled as well as he was mesmerized by her. "I like your smile..."

Kurumi couldn't hear anything else, save the breaking of her own heart when Jonathan's glance towards her was over almost before it had even started. He was keeping to his word...and then some. He wasn't just going to never speak to her again...he wasn't even going to look at her again. Biting her lip and attempting to suppress a whimper, Kurumi took one last glance in Lewis' direction, lingering there for a moment before she completely went back into her shell and hugging her legs tightly to her chest as she tried to keep back tears.
She didn't even see what was on the screen now and it didn't entirely matter to the Gryffindor. Kurumi rested her forehead onto her knees and simply rested her head there as she tried to shut everything else out. That is...until she heard Jonathan say Lewis' name rather loudly, sending a shiver down her spine.
It was then that she heard Selina ask her if she wanted to leave and Kurumi wanted to will herself to nod her head. She didn't want to be here...but she really didn't want to be anywhere either. Everything hurt. "I...don't want to move..." Kurumi whispered in reply. Her tone did not imply that she wanted to be there, but it was more of Kurumi physically not being able to will herself to move.
Merlin did she wish she could be like Jonathan right now....pretending that nothing was wrong and able to go through each day. Able to ignore it all.....

That was the final straw when Kurumi spoke again, now more broken than she had been when they had arrived. The Gryffindor prefect had spent days not leaving bed and now, when Selina had finally mustered enough energy out of Kurumi to be dragged down here, one moment and two boys had to ruin it. What was it that Kurumi always said when she was angry? Baka was it? Well that was what they were, whatever that meant. So many angry thoughts flew through her head because people did not know how to let others heal. Everything had to be constant poking at pain with a stick. All Selina wanted to do was make her best friend feel better, maybe even get her to eat a little. For just a second that was back and the two were joking about Connor and nonsense. However, pure happiness could never stay untainted- fate always wanted to muddle it and make it messy. Hadn't Kurumi been through enough?
When she looked to Kurumi for some directive, the girl was in shut down mode. If Selina was going to get anything from Kurumi now it was going to be blank stares and sad eyes. Kurumi was already escaping to recesses of her mind, yanking her out was going to be even harder this time around. And just like that Kurumi was gone. She was now lost in the endless pool of her thoughts and she would swim around in them until she drown. The redhead was going to have to fight ten times harder now to save Kurumi from herself. Because if she didn't she would never recover...
Selina herself wanted to curl up in a ball and cry. This was a lot of responsibility for one person. Everything always feel on Selina because she was not the most emotional person in the world, she was a problem solver and a protector, but at the end of the day she was only fifteen years old. She could not pick up the pieces to everyone's life, but she needed to. Right now was not about her, it was about Kurumi. If that meant that Selina was going to dedicate every hour of hr everyday to helping Kurumi recover than that was what she was going to do. Best friend's had no other option because a real best friend was a soul mate that was irreplaceable.
Swallowing her anger and all of her sad emotions, Selina focused on Kurumi. There was only one thing she could fathom doing that would help Kurumi in the here and now. Later, months down the road, when Kurumi thought about this action she would no doubt be weirded out, but Selina did not care. She was going to do what she thought was right for Kurumi because right now her best friend could not even think straight without being consumed by her thoughts.
Without hesitation Selina nodded and said, "Alright then... come on, I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you." Like a rag doll, Selina picked Kurumi up and waited for her to make some kind of motion that she wanted to go. If she could stay they would, but if not she would carry her all the way up to Mordor the Common Room.

Jonathan snorted sarcastically when Louisa sort of complimented Lewis in front of him. He wanted to comment so badly but that would just make Louisa even more confused to what is all happening right now. So the snorting is already some sort of reply. NO... He is far from being COOL and he owes him an explanation or a punch in the face would do too. Then he waited... He waited for a person to turn his back and respond to his name, which Lewis eventually did.
Jonathan's arm were still crossed and his eyes were narrowed. At first he was just sad seeing as Kurumi couldn't even lift her own finger and it hurts him that he has to see her like that--- as broken as he was inside. But right now, it was more of anger. What now? Was he stalking her? Does he have to sit a few inches away from her so he could do what? Check her out once in awhile? Please... That's creepy. As Lewis turned to look at him, Jonathan's eyes darted on his. So this is the infamous Lewis Rasting? Cocking an eyebrow, he made sure that his face is remembered like a photocopy in his mind. Jonathan was no longer listening to Louisa's explanation.

He shouldn't be scared. Jonathan's not going to throw something from behind. No, that would just be childish and stupid. Jonathan had a lot going through his mind right now. In an instant it was as if, everything at the pathways just played a fast rewind and tortured his heart even more. Then his eyes moved to Kurumi. Why? Why him? He couldn't stand it. Seeing her and seeing him. Without noticing it, Jonathan opened his mouth and talked to Louisa who was still explaining to him "I want to go" starring blankly ahead. Being here was just... too much for him to handle. "Please... Louisa" he begged her.
Facing her this time, he forced a smiled "If you want to talk about the movie, we can talk about it somewhere." another excuse just to go out and just leave. Geez, this tour guide thing was NOT meant for her. Hmph. Purebloods.
Louisa was about to turn her head and look at Johnny but Lewis was staring back at them... or him. The Ravenclaw looked at Lewis confusedly. Why did his face show paleness despite the dim lights? And why was he like... staring at Jonathan only? What was wrong with people today, shooing her off, ignoring her and then not noticing her at all!? Did she smell? Louisa couldn't help but sniff the inside collar of her shirt. Nope. She didn't.. unless you count the cheese smell that was coming out of her mouth thanks to the popcorn bowl. Hehe.
Turning her head away from Lewis to the boy sitting next to her and asking to leave, the new Prefect pouted. "But I haven't had any jelly beans yet." Meaning the snack leftovers in the bucket on her lap. "I don't know what's going on, Jonathan. With you, with Kurumi, with Selina, and now with Lewis.." she sighed and started gathering her trash into the bucket. "And I don't want to pry now, and I don't care about the movie I only came here for you. I know this movie word by word." She wasn't mad or angry, she was just giving up. "And if you don't want to be here anymore, then fine. We're going out but I think you owe me an explanation." HELLO! She was blabbing nonstop for the past half hour to cheer the Slytherin boy, didn't she deserve a teeny explanation? No? Yes?
Louisa was ready to move... and since she was seated next to Jonathan, he had to get out first for her to be able to leave her seat. The bucket of snacks was still in her hands though. She was still eating the rest of it outside.

The next thing Maxwell said made her heart stop for a minute. "You shouldn't do that anymore." she whispered. It hurt her that he might still have feelings and it didn't feel right.
"And you still have T--"
Violet gasped when she felt his arms go around her. It just wasn't right for him to be doing this, but Violet couldn't help herself and leaned her head on his shoulder. She missed this feeling that they had. Just the hug made her feel better.

Awww. He was blushing. And that kind of made Indy blush too. She hadn't meant it to sound like a question. "Nothing else..." She mused, feeling herself blush even more. Oh dear. Why was she constantly blushing around this boy. It wasn't as if other boys had made her blush before. To stop herself from saying anything Indy shoved a load of popcorn into her mouth. The problem she now had was that when she tried to swallow it kind of made her cough. Opps. Maybe that was a bad idea.
She wasn't really thinking about the movie now, because he had said he liked her smile. Daichi liked her smile. Indy didn't quite know what to think about it. And now he was shouting, and she was blushing. And oh dear. "Oh...." She mused with a little smile. "Thank you..." That was nice. Although they were both blushing a lot too.

"I really loved Defense Against the Dark Arts last year. That had to be my favorite", Alex replied. "I enjoyed Muggle Studies too. I grew up in a Muggle family so the information was familiar and the Muggle food reminded me of home". "What about you? What classes did you like?"
