As you walk into the History of Magic classroom the first thing you notice is how warm the usual drafty room seems to be despite the lack of a fireplace, in fact some people would call it down right welcoming.
Professor Scabior is uncharacteristically not by his desk, instead he looms right by the door offering the faintest of smiles at you as you enter. "Morning."
The desks have once again been re-arranged so that four desks are alligned per row, just to give the classroom a slightly different look. Sadly, no colourful inks or fancy quills were on the desks this time, but that didn't mean nothing was placed on them. Upon the middle of each desk rested a world map, detailed and filled with its own kind of information.
Kindly take your seat and lower your voices, after all, there is no reason why points should be lost today.
OOC: Class has started now, please no posts announcing late arrivals, as that will result in lost of points. If you want to join in, I encourage you to! Just act as though your character was there all along.

Scabior ran his hand through his hair a couple of times, attempting to calm down from the young Gryffindor's actions. "So," He took a deep breath.
"Atlantis. What we know so far is that it mostly likely is underwater. The apparently underwater city, may or may not have been a Muggle or a Wizarding city. Keep that in mind." Just for reference the words magically appeared on the board beside the map. "But that is a lot of may or may not. And like I said before there is a lot of confusion just generally a lot of guess work. Maybe because the city isn't on a map, but most likely because it's history appears to be so faint."
Scabior paused. "So to know more about the city, we should try looking past it. Let's look at the first person who they say is known to write of the city, Plato. What do we know about Plato?" If they knew anything about the man that was.
In fact, Dylan HAD noticed that everyone seemed to have been informed on several different levels...
"Professor, I just think it's safe to assume that no one will ever really know what, when, where, or why about the Atlantis situation." He could agree with Vicky there...None of the information could really be relied upon because everything was word of mouth...and exaggerated to impossible extremes. Weren't the stories of that time called Epics, too? That should have been an inkling right there. Nothing was EPIC about real life. Nothing at all. So, naturally...they were embellished!
Anyway, moving on...
When the question was asked...he glared at the Ravenclaws who seemed to know EVERYTHING about the MUGGLE guy. The whole thing had him scoffing in annoyance. Ravenclaws.
Not that it deterred his own answer. The Slytherin wasn't too knowledgeable about those of Ancient times...but what he DID know was that..."Sir, the guy lived a VERY long time ago, hence the EPIC one-name thing of the Ancient times...and I think I remember reading that he'd traveled the world."

Oh the Professor was getting really angry with everybody who would say anything about Anya. Nigel was a little scared, wondering who else would freeze in this class and if it will be copy of what happened in potions.
OK.. He just had to focus on Plato and answering the Professors question about Plato. Then he could go back to worrying about people freezing and Anya. Nigel really only knew a little more, other than that Plato was the guy who worte about Atlantis so Nigel started to say
"Professor, Plato traveled and wrote a lot."
That was all Nigel knew about Plato other than the Atlantis stuff.

Right, back to teaching. Scabior cleared his throat. "Back to the lesson then, the Healer will be here momentarily." Hopefully. Yes ignore the frozen girl. His good mood had vanished and quickly.
Just when Cece had started to think no one else was going to just freeze in the middle of class it happened again.
After receiving Professor Scabior's patronus she made her way down to the first floor and the History of Magic classroom. Immediately upon entering the room she seen just who this student was. Now why did it have to be little Anya, why couldn't it have been one of those annoying puffer kids? "Professor Scabior, I got here as soon as I could.' Moving closer to him she asked in a hushed voice so as not to alarm the students. "Has anyone else been displaying any symptoms?" If they had she might as well take them with her too. It would save her from having to come retrieve them later.

She really needed to hire some help.
Dylan was busy taking notes when he heard the door open. Glancing up meanly, his expression softened when he seen one of his favorite people striding into the room. She looked lovely today...Healer Tiltstorm always looked amazing, though.
Watching her walk towards the good Professor, the Slytherin could tell she was annoyed. He couldn't say he blamed her...It seemed that she was called to every lesson, having to cart more students off to the infirmary. Dylan himself was almost convinced not to attend anymore. What was the point? It wasn't like that got anything done anyway.
Rolling his eyes, they settled on the older blond again. There was NO WAY they paid her enough for the things she was having to put up with.
Yep, the lady needed a raise. Seriously.
Momentarily forgetting about his notes, he simply stared at her.

Lol JUST DID PLATO'S REPUBLIC LAST QUARTER IN PHILOSOPHY!!!
Who Am I? Ern's 2460FUN
Selina could feel her grip tightening every moment around her book. His attitude toward the immovable students infuriated selina. It made her insides boil and her head spin and fog with fury. If it were one of the precious professors that Scabior was close with no doubt his attitude would have been very different. But no, it was a student and WHO THE BLOODY HELL CARED ABOUT STUDENTS? Especially Anya and Kurumi. And whoever else was frozen, them too. Without even noticing it she saw that she was picking the book off of the table and she lowered it trying to even her breathing.
Her eyes shut and she pulled herself remotely together. Then when he asked about Plato she rose her hand and said, "He was a Greek philosopher who was a follower of Socrates, who drank hemlock and died, which Plato never forgave the greek people for doing to his master. He also is most famous for his writing the Republic and the theory of the forms, the divided line, and the allegory of the cave. Oh yeah, and he was a wealthy conservative. Unlike his master."
Was THAT enough information.
Then the healer came in and Selina wanted to stand. But she could not.... Merlin!!!
Annabelle raised her hand, "Professor isn't Plato a famous philosopher? He was know to be the most influential writer of his time." That was all she basically knew about him.

The boy tried not to pay very much attention when a couple of his peers continued to argue with Scabior. Were they really dumb enough to argue with an adult? Yes, it was a terrible thing that their friend or whatever had practically turned into an ice sculpture, but nothing would get done if they continued opposing each other. And one of those arguing was a prefect of all people! It was really rude, especially for those who came to class to actually learn. Merlin, save us all!
After Scabior told off the disruptive students and asked another question, Marshall’s hand rose into the air. He had learned a thing or two about Plato back when he was in America. “Plato was a philosopher that lived a really, really long time ago in Greece.” He paused for a few seconds and then continued, “He wrote a lot of dialogues. Atlantis is mentioned in two of them.”
Marshall then noticed that the healer had arrived. Why, hello there!

Scabior nodded. "Have you noticed that a lot of people seem to have read things that differ quite a bit?"
"How it ended up? I'm assuming you mean underwater? In that case it sounded fair.
Finally, an explanation of thoughts. And a great one at that. "Right, and in so many ways."
He thought about the answer for a second. "That makes a lot of sense, yes."
"Ah. But The Statute wasn't even a thought then."
"Yes, some people do claim that." As for the unplottable. "You are very much on the right track"
Exactly what he thought. And an apology as well, good. But he wasn't contributing anything to the class. "You keep on thinking about that then."
"Yet Greek gods are Muggle creations." He raised a brow. Wizards did not come up with Greek gods.
He nodded. Yes. "Exactly. When a location isn't on a map people start becoming confused."
Mister one word answers. It seemed to be a special occasion."Mer-city." Scabior repeated, not showing any signs of agreement or disagreement. "But what about when it was above ground?"
"That is true. Hard to believe that something existed when only one man really wrote about it."
Scabior nodded. "Do you really believe that?" He asked raising a brow. ALL of that? "That even with the lack of written use a city could just up and vanish?" Under the sea? Not one surviver?
"Maybe" He agreed.
She seemed to confuse herself more than answering the question. Ah. Scabior couldn't blame her. "Alright, alright. Relax." Too many questions for him now. But her reasons to back up her thoughts seemed solid to her. "The Greek gods were Muggle creations, but that doesn't mean it was a Muggle city."
He nodded. "They may have yes." Then the boy said something that made Scabior smirk. "You are right about that."
"People believe they spoke about it? That doesn't sound like real proof at all."
"That is nice to know. However your thoughts and concerns aren't exactly wanted right now unless they have to do with today's lesson." That was the truth. It was time to shut up unless she had something to say about Atlantis.
Was she attempting to use something that he had taught them, to argue her point to him? Scabior gave a cold bitter laugh."That is right Miss Carter. However classes were ceased because a giant creature that has the possibility of killing people was getting around the classes in an unknown way. It was just safer to have people in one place." This though? This freezing? "Students are not freezing because of a creature out on the attack." How was this known? Simple. The targeted just seemed to freeze...anywhere.
"Students are freezing. Yes. No one knows why, yes. But the reason isn't going to be less likely if you are in class or not. There is no direct threat." AND SO class would continue.
Was this done now? Yes? "You are free to disagree with me, but the next time you speak up about something that has no relation to this lesson your house will be losing fifty more points."
Just when he thought the outburst about Anya had died down, ANOTHER Carter seemed to want to test his patients. Scabior's head was turned listening to another student speak when all of a sudden the frozen girls named was cried out.
His head whipped around, in time to see Lea Carter jump out of her seat. The girl had stumbled then THROWN herself onto her frozen friend. Dash was there in seconds, physically yanking her away from the frozen body.
"WHAT the HELL do you think you are doing?" His voice was powerful, and full of pent up anger. "Do you not realize how DANGEROUS that could be to her?" Shaking her like that! "GO sit over there." He instructed pointing to the empty desk at the very back of the class. "And twenty points from Gryffindor." He let the girl go before grabbing his wand once again, this time creating an invisible forcefield around Anya. The sheer stupidity in the class was suffocating.
-----
Scabior ran his hand through his hair a couple of times, attempting to calm down from the young Gryffindor's actions. "So," He took a deep breath.
"Atlantis. What we know so far is that it mostly likely is underwater. The apparently underwater city, may or may not have been a Muggle or a Wizarding city. Keep that in mind." Okay, really!?!? Throwing oneself on a frozen student? What if they had cracked, like ice? Seriously, crazy stupidity at it's finest. Emmanuelle just smirked as Scabior pulled the girl off and yelled at her. In her honest opinion, the girl deserved much more than loosing twenty points.
And moving on. Emmanuelle called up what she could remember about Plato, which wasn't much. "He was a philosopher in Ancient Greece. It is said he taught some guy named Aristole." Honestly, she didn't get what the big deal was with all those Ancient guys. They all sounded incredibly insufferable to her.

Oh good, the nurse was here. Maybe now students would quit randomly throwning themselves on others. And she'd at least tell them if this stuff was contagious...

Sophie was still a little worried about the whole freezing thing, but she tried her best to focus. Plato... "That's the guy who said things about the Ideal World, isn't he, professor? A different one from where we live."
She turned her head when Healer Tillstorm walked in. Hopefully she would sort everything out and the Gryffindor girl would be fine! Sophie forced herself to believe that she would be fine, since all of the others had unfrozen a few moments later. Although now some people were still frozen... oh, Merlin.

Silvia sat quietly and took notes, trying to keep her attention on the professor, while still glancing at the frozen student from time to time. At least Professor Scabior hadn't gone crazy like Professor Lafay. It was always good to remain calm in situations like these.
Plato? Yes, she knew the name. "Plato was a Greek philosopher who lived a very long time ago." Yes, that was enough of an answer for now. Silvia didn't know many details about Greek philosophers anyways, other than being familiar with a few names.

Alyssa quickly wrote down what the Professor said about Atlantis and everyone's assumptions about it before trying to remember who Plato was.
When she remembered she raised her hand.
"Professor Plato was one of the famous Greek Philosophers, Mathematicians. He studied under Aristotle and his student was Socrates. With his mentor and his student, they lay the foundation of the Western Philosophy and Science."
"Plato wrote a lot of stuff and one of them was entitled Timaeus and Critias which actually mentioned something about the City of Atlantis."

Wow, he could admit that the Ravenclaw prefect was so reckless. She didn't care about losing so much points but.. As a prefect, actually she should show a good attitude to a Professor, right? And he tried not to laugh when he noticed a Gryffindor girl jumped and shook the frozen girl head. girls sometimes acted so silly, huh?
Okay, back to lesson.
Since he didn't know much about Atlantis, Gary just paid attention to the scary man and he mentioned Plato. Hmm.. The blonde guy knew about the Greek man. He raised his hand and answered. "Plato was a famous Greek Philosopher, a student of Socrates and founder of the Academy in Athens." said him clearly.

He felt someone enter the room. He turned in his seat and nearly cried out with relief when he saw the Healer checking in on Anya, who until now has not unfrozen. He watched the Healer exchange a few private words with the Historian and although he can see their lips clearly, his blasted deaf ear made it difficult to hear the whisperings despite his proximity. But the Healer was here and right now she was one of his last hopes for this "Uhm Healer Tillstorm..." he started, raising a more desperate hand this time "... would you happen to have a... potion or a vaccine to keep us from getting.... that?" he asked gesturing to Anya and trying to keep his voice from rising to the hysterics.

Minerva looked around, she saw the scary healer enter the room. She was so confused about what was going on, what was the question that was asked. She looked around the room trying to figure out the question from everyone's answers. They kept saying something about Plato, she decided to write his name down on her parchment and listen to the rest of the discussion.
"That is nice to know. However your thoughts and concerns aren't exactly wanted right now unless they have to do with today's lesson." That was the truth. It was time to shut up unless she had something to say about Atlantis.

Fifty points? With Ravenclaw's current standing, they couldn't afford to lose any more points. They could be on that highest spot if only they behaved well and do good in class. Louisa, being their House Prefect most likely understood the importance of earning points and not losing them. They officially were deducted of twenty points earlier.
Plato. He was great philosopher, yes, and a student of Socrates but those were mentioned by her classmates already and she just saved her breath of any more repetitions. Instead, she just took down notes glancing at the frozen Anya from time to time and quickly turning her attention back to the Professor and the one who's reciting.
And when she thought of something different from their answers, her hand shot up in the air, "Plato believes that knowledge is food for the soul." Erin didn't know if that would help in the discussion but she could at least share it.
..and here comes the Healer. If only, Erin could volunteer herself to go with her. She didn't want staying here and freezing in Professor Scabior's class. He didn't seem to care that much. And then she heard Mr. Vanderbilt ask the Healer about some kind of a vaccine or something. That would be great. If they're going to go in line now, she would be up front. Erin stared at the Ravenclaw and nodded.

The second year wasn't even sure she wanted to answer, afraid of saying or doing something that might irritate the professor further. She made sure to think about her answer before opening her mouth, that way there was no reason for her to get the wrath of Scabior. "Professor, Plato was a Greek guy who was a philo-philosopher and I think he also created a school."
"That he did. The first higher learning institution." He nodded.

Her eyes went to the frozen kid for a second before she sighed and nodded, "Okay. Sorry..." and she sliiiiightly slouched down in her chair.
.... oops! Someone just stirred the boiling anger in Scabior once again. Louisa couldn't help but feel sorry for the-- OH! It was the girl who interrupted her mourning session with ice cream last year, the rude girl. Still, she was a kid who apparently knew 'Anya'. SEEEE why professors shouldn't just discard the issue?
It took the Ravenclaw a couple of gulps, a lot of glances toward the Gryffindor statue and a deep breath in order to finally raise her hand. "He's.. uh.. a Greek philosopher. His time was around... the early 400s BC to middle 300s. He's... an Athenian citizen and student of Socrates."
Another glance toward Anya before Louisa felt more at ease and gave a summary about the writer, "Plato's dialogues have been used to teach a range of subjects, including philosophy, logic, ethics, rhetoric, and mathematics."
And just like that, the arguing was over. Scabior didn't smirk or smile. He hadn't won anything, he had only had his time wasted.
"Correct yes."

Just when he thought things have moved on albeit awkwardly another young Gryffindor-- this time he knew to be the Candy Trolley girl-- went rushing over and shaking the frozen Anya. He winced, mostly because he thinks Anya is still contagious and second because she looked like she might break. But yeah Historian blew his top again.
The irony of Anya talking about Pompeii at the time of her freezing. Because right now the whole class is like Pompeii in the danger of getting buried by Mt Vesuvius-Scabior.
Keep Calm and Carry on right? Actually right now he just wants to Get Up and Get Out.
But he's a Survivor and there is a question.
Up goes the hand again "Plato is a Greek Philosopher and Mathematician, a student of another great Philosopher Socrates and was a mentor of Aristotle. Among many of Plato's written works was the defining of what is present day number theory and arithmetic."
Smart boy, but he was looking so deeply into things that could be right there in front of him. "There was some clue. And that would be Plato."

Hopefully he remembered right... he wasn't so sure though. Most of the Greek philosophers told more or less the same thing. "He also thinks world is made of 4 elements..."Right?!

The first one to write about Atlantis... Plato... yes. "He was a Greek philosopher, writer and mathematician," she said after raising her hand, "student of Socrates and mentor of Aristotle." Whaaaat? She loved this part of history.

Scabior obviously had no other answers then the healer had so it wasn't like he could do more then he already had sending off his patronus. He might not be happy about it, but he sure knew better then challenge the man. Hearing Selina answer, Gideon reconized the masked anger in her tone and glaced beside him where he knew she was sitting. Plato...Plato...must focus on Plato.
Gideon thought on what he knew about the philosopher against what was already said, finally raising his hand to add a tidbit of information. "He founded the Academy in Athens, the first institute of higher learning."
"Right." Correct! Good job.

"You know what they say, never assume." No. Assuming did two things, none of which Scabior was in the mood to explain now.

"That he did." Write a lot. Smart man that Plato was.

Merlin!!!
"You know quite a bit." More than expected at least.

"Yes." Lived a long time ago, in Greece. Mentiond Atlantis. "Short and simple, I approve."

"He did teach Aristotle yes,." But they were not talking about HIM today. He didn't have anything to do with Atlantis.

"An ideal state actually but, yes." Close to the same thing.

More nodding from the Professor. "Correct"

Another short and simple answer, and he loved it. "Correct yes." He nodded.

"Sounds like something a Ravenclaw would say doesn't it?" He smirked.

He had not been paying enough attention, at least not to who was exiting and entering the room. His eyes flickered to the Healer, slightly surprised to see her making her way up, already in the middle of the class. A bit of relief washed over him, simply because finally students could shut up and listen to his lesson. Scabior flicked his wand, removing the temporary invisible barrier he had just put around the frozen girl.
"Perfect timing too, just finished dealing with rioting students." There was a touch of edge to his voice, he was clearly still annoyed. Symptoms? Dash quick a quick glance around the class before lowering his voice. "That one over there,-" He pointed to Lea who was no at the back of the room. "-Has some obvious brain damage since she tried to shake Anya." Just...so stupid. "Other than that? No. She herself didn't show any symptoms that I am aware of. Started talked, and then just nothing. Froze." So that was that then yes? Cece would take her and hopefully find out a way to return her back to her normal loud self. "If theres anything else...." And if there wasn't? Well, he had to get back to his class.
He cleared his throat a bit, giving Cece a look. "So as many of you said, Plato a famous Greek philosopher who was really interested in learning and promoted higher learning and all of that. And for those of you who have absolutely no clue who he is, just think of him as Tate. Except smarter. Much smarter."Much. More like him probably then, but Dash didn't really promote higher learning.
"Now, because Plato really did influence a lot of people and systems. Think about how possible is it that Atlantis existed. Remember, Plato was the only one to write anything about it. Could a man who had really lived his life based on education and facts really lie about something such as a city existing?" It wasn't his next question. He just let the idea sink in. "It just doesn't seem likely does it? What benefit would it be for him to lie?" None at all.
And so the conclusion was?
"Atlantis is still a real city." Point blank. It was no fable.
"Now many of you believed that the city itself sounded like a wizarding city. Why? Well, for one the rumour of it being underwater." Sounded like something wizards would do. "But if this is the case, was Plato a wizard?" And if they thought he was, WHY, and if they thought he wasn't, still WHY.
Knowing WHAT the man was, would determine, if the city had indeed been filled with Witches and Wizards, or Muggles.

10 points? Control yourself. Glenn calmed her breathing, still glaring at the Professor. She couldn't bring herself to answer the last questions while she was still calming down. She couldn't lose Hufflepuff any more points. 'Course, he might take points away for just annoying him. Far from apologizing, Glenn stared at the ground, her eyes flicking upwards as she heard the door open.
Good. The healer was here. Unfreeze Anya maybe...?
Right. To answer the question. She raised her hand and said in a constricted voice, "I think Plato was a wizard because the rumour about Atlantis being underwater and most muggles believing that it doesn't exist, would make sense that it was a wizarding city. And, if Plato was the only one that seemed to know about it... he had to be a wizard that had lived in the city." Because surely the magical people who lived there would protect it from muggles although - Glenn wasn't sure if they actually had the Statue of Secrecy all the way back then...
Seeing her Professor smirk from her answer wasn't a good thing. Didn't he know that smirking was unpleasant. Especially for such a unique answer? If you do not have knowledge, you would never have something to answer questions. And knowledge was very important, not only to Ravenclaws but to everybody in this class. They never lived with Plato before.
She eyed the professor as he explained what happened to Anya to Healer Tillstorm in a whisper: probably including the unexpected reaction of Lea Carter as she shook her friend deliberately assuming that she would wake up. And before Erin could rearranged her thoughts carefully, another question was given.
Was Plato a wizard? Erin contemplated on raising her hand to answer the professor. The thought of Plato being a wizard never occurred to her, ever in her wildest thoughts. But that could be possible, right? "Probably. Because he knew about the Atlantis City." This question required lots of thinking and she couldn't really find in her mind the exact reason to justify her answer, so she just went to the obvious. "...he might have gone there with Socrates and his other, errr...friends. Does that mean that Socrates was also a wizard?" Eh?

Was Plato a wizard?
Gary didn't know if he was a wizard or not. But he had ever read about Plato somewhere. Okay, he found some information about Atlantis and some people guessed that it was a wizarding city but did it mean that he was a wizard? Gary didn't think so. "Professor." said him while he raised his hand. "Well, I don't think Plato was a wizard since his name was more popular in muggle world as a Greek Philosopher and mathematician. If he was a wizard, maybe his name would be as famous as Merlin." Did it make sense? He hoped so.
"And base from his famous work, nothing of them showed that there was a Wizarding theory I think." He continued. Today he sounded as clever as Ravenclaw actually. He found this topic was very interesting. Nodded.

That would be Plato?
*blink* Wait.... are they discussing if Plato was a Wizard?
Well talk about turning things on its head...
Icy blues glances towards the frozen Gryffindor being attended to by the Healer, although this time maybe he wasnt really seeing them, his brain trying to reconcile historical accounts of Plato versus facts about themselves as a Magical People. Its true that with the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy still a thousand years from being conceptualized, the Magical moved in and out of Muggle societies freely. But then again, so did Muggles, whether or not they were aware of it. After much internal wrangling the Ravenclaw raised a tentative hand "Plato... was a strong proponent of the abstract, you can see it plainly in the works and the words that he left behind." he paused for a moment because up until that point the ancient Philosopher still sounded believably Muggle "But some researchers have said that there was more of his work that is undocumented-- that he insisted on keeping undocumented, and would only discuss with a select few and when these people are actually around him. Also for someone who had such prodigious work, to be mentored and to mentor fellow Philosophers who were and would become as celebrated as he was -- its quite possible that he was a Wizard, or have close ties to Wizards who shared their knowledge with him freely, and without any law that remotely resembled the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy, there was nothing that would keep Muggles and Wizards from sharing knowledge freely other than their own sensibilities."

Minerva still wasn't sure about Plato. She listened to the discussion. "Professor, I don't feel Plato was a wizard. Muggles know to much about him. They know his entire life and his work that he did. If we was a wizard I don't feel that muggles would have known that much about him. Yes he might have been in books and many things rumored, but not documented and examples so easily to study."

Hmmm...the professor made good points and made Hannah think that maybe this wasn't a wizarding city afterall. I mean sure the whole muggles not knowing about it and most believed it to not exist sounds like something that might be magical, but this Plato dude was obviously a muggle. This had to be why Hannah did not know about him.
"Professor I don't think Plato is a wizard because we would know about him in the wizarding world and the muggles would not know about him at all." Did that even make sense? "I think the muggles know too much about him for him to be a wizard." About the city being under water, Hannah didn't know how to go about that. Maybe the muggles didn't really care about what this fool was talking about and didn't care to go look for it.

So the healer would take care of Anya now, yeah? She would know what to do to make her better? To make all of the frozen people better? Ella hoped so...because all the frozen people were really starting to freak her out.
Back to Plato...could Plato have been a wizard? Well he was the one person to write about Atlantis, and he was a teacher as Professor Scabior said. Teachers didn't tend to lie about facts and figures, at least as far as Ella could tell. So he had to be a wizard, right? But what if Plato found out about wizards and made up a theory about them and where they lived...based on facts he had from other civilizations that he studied? Could that be possible? "Professor, could Plato have been a muggle who believed wizards and witches existed in Atlantis...and he wrote about the city based on what he thought it might be like based on previous knowledge of other places? That would explain why there isn't really any clear information out there on it. Maybe the information was covered up?" This was a stretch but Ella's imagination was running kind of wild at the moment and besides, wizards could obliviate people's memories. What if they had done that to Plato?
