"OK" she said, taking the candy, and popping it into her mouth... "Yum". "Oh, no! Im sure they'll turn up sooner or later. Youll be able to see them when we get to Hogwarts. Charlit paused to think for a second "What is it like at Hogwarts? Im brand new, I just transured from Canada. I heard this is a pretty interesting school" She had read news articles about animals coming out of the forest, and a strange orb rolling around the school. One of reasons she chose to come to Hogwarts in the first place.

"Oh, you're transfer student? That's so cool, I've never been outside the UK. Merlin! I've hardly gotten out of my gramma's back yard! " she giggled " oh these are hers by the way, back from her days at Hogwarts as well" she pointed to the heart shaped glasses now resting on her head.

She thought about a million questions to shoot at her, she had no idea what Canada looked like, and she had never heard of any other schools other than Hogwarts, that was partially because her grandmother was a full Hogwarts girl, that loved that school to it's core and always talked about her days there and her mother's days there and how wonderful it was. But of course witches and wizards around the world attended other schools.

She thought about what she asked of Hogwarts... how it was. That was a tuff one, to sum it all up. " Well Hogwarts is everything " she started " it's a enormous castle where everything and anything can happen, and at the same time, is where we learn, where rules are set to us and where they shape us up. But it's so much fun ! Something always happens, it wouldn't be Hogwarts if it didn't, either if it is some magical creature that starts invading the castle or a troll wanderins the woods !" she laughed now.

"Seriously, you've got to get there and see it for yourself. I think that's why everybody loves Hogwarts, it's a life time experience of knowledge and adventure!" she nodded " Yep, that's it! Life time! I bet you'll love it! " after her little speech she noticed she had spoken really excitedly probably even a little too excited, her cheeks were burning her face and she half facepalmed herself laughing.

Adam jumped rather violently at the sound of the door clanging open loudly, and the rather enthusiastic hello that could have only come from one person: Louisa. He opened his eyes, focusing them on the door only to find that she was no longer there but had rather plopped herself down next to Adam, giving JB the amount of attention that he knew JB loved. "Hey," Adam said with a small smile, keeping his hand on JB. He realized that nowadays whenever Adam moved too far from JB the dog got anxious. He had a feeling it had something to do with all the commotion going on at his...err...his grandfather's house. Train sick? "No...just tired is all. Plus I still haven't really gotten used to all the commotion and such...so many people," Adam said, looking out the window at the flood of people passing by the window.

"So...how was the rest of your summer?" Adam asked, clearing his throat slightly. They had spoken a bit since the encounter at the cafe with Paulie, but Adam still wasn't sure where things were with Louisa. After all the kiss that she had planted on his cheek after their conversation had stuck with him, and Adam couldn't help but wonder slightly as to the intentions behind the beaming and excited look that Louisa now had in her eyes. Starting to feel the nerves come over him at such an expectant glance Adam looked down at JB, rubbing his stomach absentmindedly as he listened to Louisa's answer. Of course Adam had been listening intently until he suddenly became aware that Louisa's head was now on his shoulder. Looking up Adam spotted Joao through the window with a less than pleased look on his face. Instinctively, because Adam was sure he knew what Joao was thinking of the scene, Adam gave Joao a hard look. It wasn't Adam's fault that he had broken Louisa's heart, and if Joao thought Adam wasn't going to be there for Louisa through the whole aftermath than that boy was less intelligent than Adam thought.

Penny's mood was seriously in danger of plumetting into danger mode. This morning had NOT gone the way she had planned. Thankfully the hard part was over. She was on the train and headed back to her favorite place on earth.

Tugging her trunk into the first empty compartment she plopped down onto the seat with a heavy sigh. Her cat, Skittles jumped into her lap and started purring. Just that little sound had the tension draining from her body and had her grinning.

Curling up on the seat Penny pulled out her book and opened it to the last page she had read.

"The sunglasses don't even look like they would have belonged to your grandma, granny sunnies are popular these days!" She brought hers out of her bag, to show Jess, they were teal, with super big lenses. "Mine are designer". She diddn't mean to brag. Charlit wondered what it would be like living with a grandmother, she lived with her mom and stepdad in a big, cold house with an echo. "I travel around a lot! my family never stays in one place for too long, but weve lived in the house were living in now for three or so years, Its about time we moved again" she said, anything to get out of the creepy house she was living in now.

Charlit cracked a smile at Jess's explanation, it was a bit of a tuff question to answer. "Hogwarts sounds amayzing!" Charlit chatted. She could not wait to get there and try out her new wand. She began fiddeling with it as she talked. "So you've never been outside the UK?"

She nodded agreeing to the fact that her sunglasses didn't look like they had belonged to her grandma. She eyed Charlit glasses with a recognition stare, she had seen them in her magazine. " I know they are! " she exclaimed excited " I was just seeing a magazine with them on it! " she pulled her magazine out again and went through the pages until she found it " Here! " she exclaimed pointing at a model in trendy cloths wearing the same glasses " they are pretty cool I like them! " she complimented.

She listened to Charlit talk about her house, she didn't sound very happy. That was something she was glad not to happen to her, she loved her grandma and her house was charming. If it hadn't been it would probably had been painful to stay there while her mother decided to run the world looking for potion ingredients.

"No, I haven't" she confirmed to her, not ever getting out of the UK. Ever. " My mum is supposedly out somewhere making ground breaking discoveries about plants and herbs and stuff, but she didn't fond me enough to take me with her, something about school.." she added sarcastically. Of course she couldn't take her, she had to graduate, but still that subject always made her bitter.

"And I bet that the furthest I've been from home is to the center of muggle London, where I go to buy my muggle magazines, because I live in a magic village in the country side of the UK .." she scratched her face, pulling the hair out of her eyes. " Where have you been ? A little bit everywhere ? "

Was this the kid who didn't really/sorta call her a boy? Yes 'twas. Theodore or something? But atleast he was a first year! So that meant they could sort of start the first year party and make loads of pals slash friends! YAY! 'Cause all her magicky friends seemed to be oldies and Blue did not like that.

Not that they weren't nice or anything. It's just that...well, they were all on about boyfriends (gross) and make-up (uuugggghhh) and that sort of thing. And Blue considered that sort of thing to be disgusting. It really should be band in her oppinion.

But now she could meet new first year!friends which was YAAAAAAY!

Theodore saw her bounce and he felt the urge to do it, too. But managed to restrain himself. He'd give himself head rush if he bounced anymore today. Instead, he BEEEEEEEEEEAMED.

Meeka didn't like having to PULL her trunk. It was heavy - big, and she was small and meek. It was why people called her Meek. Like her sister.

Pfft. She wasn't going to miss her she was a foolish girl. Mhm. India liked boys - Amelia liked tossing a quaffle with them but that was it. They were friends anything closer was just NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTY!

CLUNK. She dropped her trunk. "Stupid thing" she glared at it her eyes flashing in a fiery way as she glanced into an almost empty compartment.

It was well not empty but little people her age were in there. She beamed. "HI!" She chirped waving exstatically "I'm Amelia Kaikoura Johanson - call me Meeka or Mia" she was beaming. "or Kai, Or Mika's best" she giggled. And noticed the girl bounce and felt herself bounce on her feet.

"You guys know what house you want to be in? I want to be different maybe be a slytherin...I like pranks." She giggled. She would be the bubbly Slytherin girl - but she had a feeling liker her family before her she would be a silly little Ravenclaw. She would seriously throw a cauldron cake at the Slytherin table if that happens.

Yep. A cauldron cake.

Kaiden was on the move, looking for the perfect place to sit. There were so many older kids around, and although he wasn't intimidated by them, he did not want to deal with a whole lot of them either. Hearing the someone say something about pranks, he perked up, and rounding corner, he found a compartment with a boy and two girls that looked to be around his age. Figuring this would do for now, he entered. "Hello" he said, "Did someone say pranks?" he asked eagerly.

Alyssa's head was spinning. She didn't expect her compartment to be filled up so fast. She smiled up at Glenn, Sophie and Messer and listened as everybody caught up with each other and asked each other how their summers were going.

Then she heard Messer ask her a question."I honestly wasn't sure I was going to come back Messer. I was just telling Janice what happened during my summer. By the way, Janice, my cousins are okay. They are older than I am, and they are legally able to take care of themselves, and they are currently living together. But my family has kind of adopted them as part of our family, officially.

Now Messer back to you. I can still always stay on the train and leave with it when it leaves to go back to King's Cross. So if you want me to not go to back to Hogwarts, I'll be happy to oblige." Alyssa grinned at him.

One week of muggle school was enough for Adeline she couldn't take it no more and so she told her brother to get her a ticket on the next plane to London and here she was on the train. Her parents were fighting nonstop, she was being bullied at school and she needed a place to get away. Away from all the drama, sadness and stress that engulfed her life right now. She wanted a place to get away and nothing was as awesome as Hogwarts.

She needed to tell one of her friends that she was back but she couldn't tell Matt, no he was in Paris. Sigh. Maybe she could find Alec. Yeah and be accused of wanting to be his girlfriend yeah right. Well there's always Messer. Adeline shook her head. She couldn't go and find Messer or Alec without people saying she is Messer's soul mate or being accused of wanting to kiss Alec again.

This summer had gone by way to fast. Adeline couldn't believe she was tweleve years old already and that she was about to be in her second year at Hogwarts. Hopefully her parents won't notice that she's gone. Adeline looked around for some familiar faces but she saw none.

Now the second year just had to find a place to sit and ride back to Hogwarts.

Oichi rushed onto the Hogwarts express with all her stuff for the train ride. She wanted to explore everywhere and her energy was on high. She did not watch where she was going much at all and ended up pumbling into someone, EEEKKKk. She saw fell to ground and all her snacks and school supplies fell as well and were now surrounding her in a heap of mess. She slowly got up and realized she had bumped into a girl about her age. "Oh, my, I am so sorry. I am just so excited to finally be here. But perhaps I have been in a bit too much a rush", Oichi said giving the girl an embarrassed smile. "I am Oichi by the way", Oichi said extending her hand to the girl.

Adeline looked around for a place to sit when something or someone caught her off guard and scared her half to death but she was still alive and her heart was still beating so that was a good thing.

Adeline looked at the girl and gave her a smile. "It's okay I was like that last her for my first year. Oh it very nice to meet you, Oichi. I'm Adeline Holiday." Adel smiled at her.

Oichi felt a weight off her shoulders as she realized the girl was taking this blunder alright. "Oh..... It is nice to meet you too Adaline and might I add that is a very pretty name", Oichi saod and then quickly gathered her stuff. "Say, would you like to join me in finding a free compartment".

Adeline smiled softly. "Thank you so much and yes I would love to find a free compartment with you." Adeline said. Adeline was happy to meet someone she didn't know at all because it would get her mind off of Messer and Alec and that would be good for her right now. "So what year are you in?" Adeline asked.

"Seccond but it is under a the technicality that I am 12 going on 13 and developed my magical ability a bit late. this will be my first year at Hogwarts. My mother is a witch and my father a muggle. My older brother ended up being muggle and for years my parents thought I was too. That was untill I attended a tough martial arts tournament which unintentionally brought out the magic in me and brought me and my competitor to the roof of the dojo. My mother was outside getting some air and saw me uo there and was shocked and beamed herself to me and then beamed me out of there and owled Hogwarts and now, here I am. I just hope I can catch up quick since I am a whole year behind and all.".

Kennedy folded his arms under his head as his stretched his body on the compartment seat.

Siiiiiigh.

It felt nice to just...chill. No worries. No random thoughts of being poisoned. No nothing. He looked over at his friend and chuckled at his statement. "Tell me about it. The term hasn't even began yet and I'm already involved in some crazy stuff." Like really crazy and weird. Even scratching the surface of what Aurora and him had talked about at the platform caused a headache to pound his head.

He looked up at the ceiling and nodded. "Yeah, it feels like just yesterday I was in the fetal position begging not to be bullied," he chuckled. It was funny now how he thought everyone that lay eyes on him would bully him, but now...it didn't even affect him that much anymore. Maybe. He didn't know. Kennedy sighed and straightened the pin on his robes and turned back to Johnathan. "Not good, man, not good." He wasn't going to lie, and if he did, John would see right through that.

Mika looked up at the person who had walked up next to her. It was a boy - a boy who liked pranks? Now this sounded promising.

"I did" she nodded her head bobbing up and down fast - faster than fast she was like a blur. "I'm Mika" she smiled - no beamed at him. "Are you a first year?" She asked eagerly. "I am - where are you from? I'm from Australia" she was babbling.

Babbling was good.

In her brain - all she could hear was AHHHHH! I'm going to SCHOOL this will be GREAT I AM A WITCH PEOPLE - oooh I wonder if I'll learn how to blast people?

Ailsa stomped her way down the corridor. "Whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever!!!" She spat out with each step.
My goodness she had just gotten over the fact she would be away from her Mother for the first time and that old lady ruined her sentimentality with a long and stern lecture about behavior and blah blah blah. Ailsa was more than willing to get on the train now, no tears to be shed at all.

With a humpf, she began to scan for an open seat. There were some students in front of her still trying to find a spot (Adeline and Rosa).

"Scuse me! Would you mind if I was stuck with you two?" Ailsa asked. "My name is Ailsa, and I'm starting new here."

Ailsa flashed them a sweet smile and batted her eyelashes innocently. Her trunk banged into her ankle as she turned to offer a handshake. "Yowch!"

That was going to be a bruise later.

"eh heh. Anyway, how about it?"

Crazy stuff? John raised a brow, his first thought was that he was involved in illegal stuff. Then just let his crazy thoughts roam his clueless mind. "Really like what? are you doing stuff that's against the law?" John asked, he wanted to be a cop so he figured he would get his start here in the train.

John pinched his lips together, he remember when little Kennedy would get bullied and it always urged him to go to his defense. "Yeah I remember that. But you're not getting bullied while John Walker is around. I still remember how skinny you were too" He said as he teased his young friend.

Why wasn't everything going well? "Really you and I are on the same boat then. What's going on with you?" John asked as he reached into his jacket and pulled out some pudding-filled cookies. He smiled and offered some to Kennedy.

The wedding plans and finding a place to live with his fiancee, get him the worst anxiety feeling ever. More now that everything is going to be owls, he also felt very strange. He couldn't quite put his finger on how he was feeling or what he was feeling at the moment.

"Nice" he said in respose to her affirmation. "And I'm Kaiden," he said to Mika as well as everyone else there. The boy smirked as the girl bounced beside him. He hadn't been around many girls growing up, And he wasn't sure if he liked the bubbliness. but if this one liked pranks, he was determined to be her friend. "Yeah, this is my first year, And I'm from America."

Looking at the others sitting around, Kaiden took a seat in the compartment. "So, are ya'll just starting at Hogwarts too?"

Adelaide was going to Hogwarts at last. She was so excited that she nearly ran and jumped onto the train in excitement. Instead she had to climb onto the train since she was so short and not wearing heels today. It was the most exciting day of Addie's whole entire fifteen years of life. Now she was going to Hogwarts and life would be complete. After her brother helped her lift her trunk onto the train she rolled it on its wheels it towards the front of the train. Maybe some nice person would help her put it up where it belonged since she couldn't reach. If not there was always the driver.

Addie walked into the first empty compartment and looked around debating what to do before finally leaving the trunk sitting there in the middle of the compartment. Addie undid the straps of her cat Mitten's basket and let her loose.

"Oh, hey they are!" Charlet agreed excitedly, tapping the picture in the mag. "Would that be a muggle magazine?" Charlit wondered. "Ive been all over North Amarica, and I also went to France, Sweden & Denmark, and the Uk. Mostly in wizarding areas, my family is really really pure blood"She had just realised that her candy had gum on the inside, and she blew a pink bubble. "The center of Muggle London...you probly get easy acess to Diagon Ally!"

Kennedy choked back his laughter which came out sounding like if his throat had been clogged. "I'm not the one doing...stuff," he said, almost defensively, but with grin on his face. And if there was illegal stuff going on he wasn't doing it on purpose. All the questions could go to his father whom was most likely the guilty one.

At his friend's next comment he allowed a chuckle to escape him. It was true. He had been a scrawny string been that couldn't hold his ground two years ago. Although, he almost preferred to be the kid he was back then. At least then, he didn't need to deal with what was going on now. But, his bulking up he had to thank John for that. He taught him how to exercise, work out and take care of himself...although he wasn't the type to care for his figure. It was like brotherly bonding time. "Oh yeah, and I remember you pushing me to run a mile when I was practically crawling on my knees." Oh yes, fun times.

Running a hand through his messy, curly hair Kennedy turned his head to John. "Problems with my father and...Aurora," he said, murmuring the last part. He frowned, thinking of everything that happened during the summer. He noticed John's mood wasn't up and loud like always, so instead of focusing on himself, Kennedy centered on his friend. "What's up with you?" he asked as he took the cookies.

John laughed and nodded and whistled while he jokingly rolled his eyes "I only fed my parents 'happy brownies' like once last year" he joked as he couldn't contain his laughter at the memories it brought him.

John chuckled at the memories he had of Kennedy. "yeah I also remember, you not being able lift up 80 pound weights. You've come a long way, now you have some muscle. All you need to do is grow some facial hair and you'll be cool like me!" Johnathan teased. If John goes one day without shaving he looks like a homeless guy.

"What has Wayne done to you, now?" John asked as he furrowed his eyebrows, just by bringing up that 'wizard's' name. "and what's going on with Aurora?" he added, she better not be hurting his 'little brother.' John sighed and rubbed his eyes as he leaned back. "Oh sweet Jesus Christ. I'm just really stressed with the wedding and the Aguirre family threatening my mom, about taking over the world. Ya' know just the usual." John said as he felt like punching a wall or just doing something to ease the anger he had, against his mother's side of the family.

Violet skipped to the middle of the train with her small handbag filled with her brand new robes for the new year. What waits at the new term of Hogwarts this year? She was absolutely excited for it and couldn't wait to meet some new friends there as well. Looking around, Violet found an empty seat beside a girl she had never met before. "Hi there, may I sit here? I'm Violet by the way. Nice to meet you!" she said with a cute grin on her face.
