From the corner of her eye, though, she saw someone pause outside their door. She looked up curiously and saw him. She would've acted cool and neutral had he not given them a disgusted look. The Brazil Nut! Slowly and rather boldly, Louisa straightened up and tilted her head so it rested against Adam's shoulder.
THERE. Joao could go think about what he did wrong to her all this time. She'd done her part of thinking long time ago, thank you very much.
"So.. you think we can pull this dating thing off without damaging our friendship?" She asked bluntly, still glaring outside the door's window. Adam was waiting for an answer, right? She might as well give it to him when the iron was hot so to speak.

It wasn't Adam's fault that he had broken Louisa's heart, and if Joao thought Adam wasn't going to be there for Louisa through the whole aftermath than that boy was less intelligent than Adam thought.
And that IDIOT, that ROBBER had dared to LOOK BACK! That was what enfuriated João--that that SCUMBAG of Adam now touched her and took advantage of her sensitive state. She had JUST got out of a relationship and he dared to lay his hands on her. And what when they broke up soon? Because a girl as clever as Louisa--although she'd made a HUGE mistake--wouldn't stick with that henpecked. Certainly she would get bored at some time. João could only hope it wouldn't be when it was too late.
Throwing his luggage rather fiercefully away to get his anger out, making a HUGE noise and SHAKING the nearby compartments, he sat down and took a breath. There. He was much better after that outburst. Now, without any further hindrance, he could get back to his reading.
Laura had decided that she would see if any of her friends where at the front of the train but when she got there she couldn't see a single one, this was annoying her, here she was hoping the speak to a few friends but she couldn't find them and what was worse was she couldn't find her twin sister either.

And just then Louisa had stopped patting JB and looked down at him to see if he was getting drool on her bare leg which would be beyond gross no matter how much she loved him.

"So.. you think we can pull this dating thing off without damaging our friendship?" She asked bluntly, still glaring outside the door's window. Adam was waiting for an answer, right? She might as well give it to him when the iron was hot so to speak.
At the question about Adam's long night he gave a little nod, continuing to rub JB's back as he did so. "I uh...I actually moved out," Adam said with an attempt at a relaxed and no-big-deal tone that failed pretty badly. "It was about three days ago. I got back from going on a run to find all my stuff in the living room and JB sitting next to it. My grandpa told me I could either try to compromise with my father, and try giving up my magic like he was going to do, or I had to go. Seeing as giving up magic isn't an option for me, I didn't really have another choice." Adam let out a small sigh at the end, turning to look at Louisa as she said that she was glad he came back. He gave her a little smirk. "You can't get rid of me that easily you know," Adam said, giving her a little playful nudge with his shoulder. They were sitting so close at this point that it didn't really take much movement for Adam to be able to do that.
Once Joao was past the window, Adam returned his focus on the dog on his lap, giving a slight shake of the head as he did so. It was only a few moments later that he had a rather loud slam, that managed to shake the entire compartment, JB looking up uncomfortably, turning to look at Adam, and upon seeing his discontented face, began to growl rather fiercely at the door.
"It's all right JB," Adam said, rubbing the dog's back encouragingly. "Since all this tension started with my dad and grandpa JB has practically been glued to my hip. It's like he's afraid something was going to happen..."
Adam was about to inquire again as to how Louisa's summer had been, but the question that came out of her mouth was so blunt and direct that Adam hadn't seen it coming. Leaning back slightly so that she could at least partially see Louisa's face, Adam looked at her, his eyebrows going up slightly. A trace of the annoyance of seeing Joao was still there, and Adam couldn't say that he blamed her. "Yes, I think we can make it work without damaging our friendship," Adam responded firmly. "But at the same time, if you only want to start this because you want to get back at Joao, I don't think that's a good idea. Although the guy has some nerve giving you a disgusted look for choosing to move on with your life, instead of letting him continue to break your heart." The last words contained some of Adam's own anger, and he moved back so that Louisa's head could rest firmly again on his shoulder. He was silent for a few moments before speaking again. "So...do you want to do this?" Adam asked softly, the words barely above a whisper.

Sarah spotted another girl like her. Waiting for friends. That was a very pathetic one. We look forward to tell them everything and they just don't appear! She sighed and moved towards the girl. "Hello" she smiled, "You're waiting for someone?" She didn't want to rush up. "I'm Sarah. Gryffindor" she said promptly.

She smiled to herself and started to gaze out the window, waiting for the train to take off or otherwise.
Having the idea to walk around the train and find something to do, Daichi walked towards the front of the train with Mr.Duckles in his arms. The narrow corridor seemed to have become smaller now that he was growing and occasionally he had to turn his whole body when someone passed through.
His expression was less angry and confused when the train had drove off because the thought of going back to Hogwarts was worth to drain his feelings away. Now with his usual smile on his lips and a twinkle in his eyes he held his stuffed animal duck closer to his chest when passing a compartment.
Looking inside, he noticed a young girl sitting by herself and by the looks of it she was a first year. The fourth year chuckled to himself as he remembered his own first train ride. It had been...awkward.. But not as awkward as Indy seeing his underwear laying around just now in another compartment! "Hey, my name is Daichi" he called after opening the door and pushed his black nerd glasses higher up. "Mind if i sit here? " Cause he did not like that she was sitting her alone.

And new friends! He could make plenty of them as well.
Speaking of friends, one of his friends had come to join him! Alec's head snapped to the doors as a grin spread across his face. "Indy! Hey!" he said, sitting up. He couldn't be slouching around everywhere when he was joined by someone he knew. They could always slouch later.
And... was she really asking that? After the way she let someone like him sit in a compartment with him, she wanted to know if she could now? What a third year! "Yeah, sure!" he said, "My sweeties were wondering when you'd pop along."
"Heeyy!" Indy beamed, stepping into the compartment properly, and letting the door shut behind her. This was going to be fun. Indy loved hanging out with Alec. He had awesome sweeties, and was a awesome person. So she knew that they were going to have a fun time. "Yaaay." She smiled, wandering over to him, and sitting down. They could just a have a big pig out couldn't they? As long as they left room for the feast of course. SPOILER!!: Kurumi

Why did he have to say things to her that made her heart race like it was now? Butterflies fluttering in her stomach, Kurumi idly fumbled with the fabric of her dress. Had he said that because she was actually wearing a dress? Her eyes lifted to his now, causing her cheeks to turn an even deeper shade of pink, and she finally ceased chewing on her lip.
She didn't deserve to have him such things about her.
Kurumi blinked her eyes when he spoke again, about nicknames, and she nodded as a confident smile returned to her face. "That's right, Jonathan," she replied, saying his name again in a playful manner. She reached up again and pushed a few locks of his hair to the side that he had somehow missed just now, her hand lingering for a moment before she returned it to her lap.
CRUP! CRUPCRUPCRUPCRUP!
Kurumi giggled as Ash began to wag his tail and lick her face. "Well, wasn't he just the best little present ever," she said, still in her baby voice as she scratched behind his ears and smiled widely back at Jonathan. "He looks about that age," she nodded. He was still so little! EEEK! "I wonder if he'll let me..." she mused as she tried to flip the crup onto his back. Animals were very hesitation when it came to showing their bellies, it was their way of showing you their vulnerability and that they trusted you. Thankfully, Ash didn't seem to have any complaints.
She scooted closer to Jonathan now so that their shoulders were touching, giving him easier access to his own pet because Kurumi was tempted to just run away with him. "I hope he doesn't tear apart your dorm room though...they can be curious creatures." Not to mention that Jonathan's OCD would most definitely act up. "Lots of walks on the grounds would help that though."
The grounds...that reminded her...
Kurumi's stomach was back in knots again and her heart pounding more fiercely in her chest as her breath became a little uneven. "J-J-Jonathan...." she whispered, her eyes averting from his for a moment as her thoughts went back to the day at the fountain before she had returned home to Japan. "I-I...um...I...was wondering if..." But she trailed off, unable to finish her thought.
Jonathan starred at her. He's used to Kurumi always getting flustered when he gives her simple compliments. She was always too shy to accept them even if they true. If only right now, he knew what was going on in her head. He was still starring at her but he just suddenly gave a small laugh. He couldn't help it, she just looked "and cute" he added as he once again flipped his bangs onto the side. He would add more compliments if she keeps on doing that and no, it's not a form of teasing nor he is biased about her.
Feeling Kurumi's hand touching his hair and somehow brushing through his forehead, "it looks weird, doesn't it?" his bangs grew longer over the summer break and not once had remembered to have cut. Bummer. He was planning to make it shorter during the term starts. Oh well... too late for him to do that now.
All creatures wants to be loved and well, perhaps be conversed in a baby tone... Do they like that? Being talked to that way, like what Kurumi is doing now. Jonathan just froze in place but his eyes was looking at Ash and at her. Jonathan talks to his pet a lot but probably not in that tone... he should try that sometime, yes? "Go ahead... He'll like it" Jonathan confirmed. Ash doesn't bite nor is super active like other crups. He usually loves being cuddled most.
Hmmmm.... Ash tearing up the dorm rooms?
Jonathan wrinkled his nose and pursed his lips... maybe? But so far, Jonathan has been with the little guy for a few months and he hasn't broke nor torn anything apart. "I have a cage for him" Jonathan said petting the head. "I can just let him out when I'm around and we can have those walks every weekends" because he doesn't have school at those days. Obviously.
Leaning forward to Ash, Jonathan suddenly stopped when Kurumi spoke again. "Wondering what?" he said still making faces at his crup.
"Of course, the more the merrier. And this my first year here too even though I am 12, discovered the magical part of me a bit late. I am Oichi by the way, "It is nice to meet you Alisa". Oichi then chuckled lightly as the girl accidentally hit her trunk against her ankles and yelped, "Believe it or not you are less clutzy then me. I practically bulldozed over poor Adeline here for running on the train with all my stuff and I am glad Adeline took it well. She is quite a nice girl.". Oichi then turned the door of a compartment and was relieved to finally find an empty. "Hey girls, we're in luck", Oichi said as she fully opened the door to a completely empty compartment. Oichi then entred the compartmrnt annd got her stuff settled and motioned for the other girls to follow her.
Ailsa giggled, "You almost ran over her?" She said referring to Adeline. "It's nice to meet you Oichi." She did her best to pronounce the name just as it was said. "I'm eleven" She mentioned, even though it was probably assumed.
Good, an empty compartment. When it came time to change into the school robes, it would be less awkward with just three ladies. She was currently in some blue jeans and a light blue sweater. It made her hazel eyes pop blue. It also made her slim frame seem less slim. She just needed to spend the next few months sitting and studying instead of running around and her frame would fill out.
"Shall we sit then?" She scooted into the compartment and took the seat by the window. "Looks like my small trunk fits underneath the seat. How about your trunks? She asked the two others.

I won't let you do that." Yes he won't if he must he'd gladly drag Lyss out from the Hogwarts express when they reach Hogwarts.
The girl who happened to stand next to Sophie earlier introduced herself to him. Glenn? Right. Okay. "Nice to meet you, Glenn. I'm Messer." he gave the girl another nod. "You're a Hufflepuff too, right?" Because he had seen her around last term but didn't get a chance to know her.
Sophie giggled at Messer's reaction to her greeting. "Of course you do! Hogwarts is the best place EVER!!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms up. HOOOOGWAAAAAARTS!!!!

Blink. Blink. Sophie felt the compartment door shaking and frowned. It had come from the other compartment, right next to where she was now. She peeked through the door's window and saw a rather angry Slytherin. Without asking, she stopped at the door and looked in. "Hi! Are you alright?" She asked looking straight at him. She had seen him around Hogwarts before, but had no idea of who he was and what his name was. "I'm Sophie, by the way!"

"Yeah..." he started, bringing out his bag of sweeties, "Sweeties!" This was something he had remembered to get just in case he ran into Indy and needed to share some sweeties with her. Because sharing them was a lot of fun! Especially with someone who liked them as well, like Indy.
And she had fudge! That was one of his favourite types of... sweets? Food? Food, yes. "I love fudge! And chocolate frogs!" How did she know? "Hey, do you think we can have a mini feast in here?" he asked, looking at Indy. It would probably be the best way to start the year.
Also.. chit chat was needed, yes? "How was your summer, Indy?"

"Yaay." Indy giggled with a big smile. It was nice to finally have someone that knew her very well that wasn't her brother. This was going to be a very fun journey. "You're a very good friend." Hehe. Especially if he brought her sweeties. Hopefully she'd be able to repay him at some point. Because he kept giving her sweeties whenever saw him. She could not hit bludgers at him. That would be nice. But then he'd keep on winning. And that would go against the bludgers bible. So. No she would not be doing that.

Alec couldn't help but feel himself warm up slightly. Indy thought that he was a very good friend! He knew he had quite a few friends, and most of them were girls, but being told this from someone like Indy was just... it was awesome! "You're a good friend too!" Even if the two had been up against each other twice in the past term.
But... he should do something, right? Because it felt like the right time to do something. Like give Indy a hug! He could do that... he could give a girl a hug! The second year wiggled slightly before wrapping his arms around the older girl and giving her a nice, good hug.
"Yeah, I do!" They were sharing food now! This was great! Alec opened the bag of sweets and set the packets down on top of his bag which he then put on his lap. Probably to anybody else hearing that would be nothing. But Indiana hadn't been told that before. All the girls back home thought that she was weird. So being told that she was a good friend was so nice to her. It did make her blush though. And then Alec hugged her. Eep. Today was good. Indy smiled, as she hugged her friend back. She'd never hugged a boy before. It felt a bit weird. Even though he was younger than her he was clearly taller than her before his arms were nice and big as they wrapped around her. It was nice. She could get used to this. But she still pulled away. They couldn't hug the whole journey. They wouldn't get to eat any sweeties that way.
Indy smiled, leaning her head back against the seat, although it leant towards him a little. "It'll be nice..." She giggled, opening up the fudge and placing it onto his bag too. It was like a little table. Hehe. "We shouldd!" And because they did lots of quidditch they would stay nice and thin. Indy would like that. It'd be so much fun. indy was really looking forward to this.
Oh....he didn't know where Skegness was. "It's like....south east England." She nodded with a big smile. She had really enjoyed the holiday. Even if it was really wet. "and i'm sure your summer wasn't boring reallyl....."

Theodore couldn't remember her name. He knew it was something he hadn't heard as a NAME before. But yet, it was cool at the same time. He squinted slightly in her face.
Balloon... came to mind. OH. "Blue, is your name, is it?" IS IT, IS EEEEEET? Next question was, "And....... are we friends?" He said, remembering their annoying little quarrel on their first encounter.
Summin' about him calling her a boy, and her calling him a girl...
But yeah... He would let that go! Cos he was a GENT.
Theodore saw her bounce and he felt the urge to do it, too. But managed to restrain himself. He'd give himself head rush if he bounced anymore today. Instead, he BEEEEEEEEEEAMED.

Pfft. She wasn't going to miss her she was a foolish girl. Mhm. India liked boys - Amelia liked tossing a quaffle with them but that was it. They were friends anything closer was just NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTY!
CLUNK. She dropped her trunk. "Stupid thing" she glared at it her eyes flashing in a fiery way as she glanced into an almost empty compartment.
It was well not empty but little people her age were in there. She beamed. "HI!" She chirped waving exstatically "I'm Amelia Kaikoura Johanson - call me Meeka or Mia" she was beaming. "or Kai, Or Mika's best" she giggled. And noticed the girl bounce and felt herself bounce on her feet.
"You guys know what house you want to be in? I want to be different maybe be a slytherin...I like pranks." She giggled. She would be the bubbly Slytherin girl - but she had a feeling liker her family before her she would be a silly little Ravenclaw. She would seriously throw a cauldron cake at the Slytherin table if that happens.
Yep. A cauldron cake.

His scowl was easily ignorable and quickly forgotten as she bound off again in search of a compartment. There was so many students! And while she'd planned out the best place to sit, close to all those badged people, it was apparent she wasn't the only one who thought so.
She followed the sound..... of excited bouncing and eager giggles. They sounded like first years, like her! It was sooooo rude to just barge in on someone else's compartment though, little Dora knew this. So she pressed her self against the compartment door instead (totally not rude or invasive at alllllll), and peeeeeeeered inside.... and fell in when the not-completely-closed door opened with all of her weight.
Oops. "...... Hi."
"YES. I'm BLUE!" She GRRRRRIIIIINNNNNEEEDDDDD. Because that was her name. Not Hazel. Hazel was a boring name. But Blue was an awesome-tastical name. We they friends? Uhmm....Blue considered this for a moment. "Sure." Beam. "Or...I hope so anyway." She didn't want to not be friends with anyone. Anyway, Theodore seemed like an okay person...for a boy. How was he NOT bouncing? It was very hard not to.
Hence the fact that she bounced...again.
Atleast he was BEEEAAAAMMMMIIIINNNNGGGGGG.
She smiled at the new girl who entered. "You have a lot of names...and that's coming from me. ...I have a lot of names. I'll call you," Blue thought for a minute. "Mia. 'Cause that's the only name I can remember of the list you just gave us." She was kinda forgetful. Besides, Mia was easy to remember. Plus it was short.
And Blue liked short names.
...'Cause her name was short.
What house did she wanna be in? "I wanna be in Puffhuffle- I mean Hufflepuff. ....They sound cute." She giggled again. "Ooooooooor Ravenclaw. Because they're smart!" Blue grinned, showing off a gap in her teeth where a tooth had fallen out recently. Yes. She had lost a tooth. How awesome was that.
Blue got bored with just bouncing in her seat and found her self swinging awkwardly around till she was hanging upside down so that her feet were on the top of the seat and her head was dangling off the edge - her hair almost brushing the compartment floor. She giggled. Blue could feel the blood rushing to her head.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN.
Another kid came in. YAY! The more the merrier. "No. Did you?" She frowned at Theo. Had he said something about pranking? 'Cause she didn't. Nope. "Oh right. Mia did." SMIILLLE. "I'm Blue." She smiled again. "But not sad blue." Because people did tend to think that for some reason. Blue couldn't understand why. But Blue couldn't understand a lot of things right now, seeing as she was going red and all the blood in her body was in her head.
'TWAS STILL FUN THOOOUUUUGGGGGGHHHH.
And now there was a girl pressed against the window. Which was kinda weird...but maybe they did that in Hogwarts. Press their faces against the glass. Maybe Blue should do it too? Blue was about to do it when the girl fell in. "Oh. Are you okay? Were you suppose to fall in? Probably not though." Blue smiled. "Are you a first year? 'Cause second, third, fourth and fifth aren't allowed in. I'm too scared to tell them go away..." She trailed off, a worried look on her face. She sat up awkwardly, red in the face.
She didn't think she'd be able to tell Eve or someone to go away. They were too TALLL. "Oh, hi by the way." 'Cause she didn't wanna be ruuude or any thing.
This party was going swimmingly, in her oppinion. Yes, she had just used a big word.
The whole place shook and a terrible banging sound echoed through the compartment making Louisa's eyes squeeze shut for a moment. Her hand felt the change in JB's mood instantly, too but she let Adam deal with him. It was Joao's way of saying how upset he was at both of them, she could only imagine what his smack did to the train's wall. Nodding slowly at Adam's explanation about his and JB's situation. Her mind was stuck at the Brazilian boy walking outside, had she hurt him now? Was it really her fault that he caused a mini earthquake to the room? Should she be happy that she was getting back at him? Was leaning her head against Adam's shoulder just to spite him a despicable move? Louisa had removed her head from her friend's body slowly and focused on the dog on her lap.
"You'll be just good and free on your own." She looked up at him and managed a small smile, Joao had darkened her light-hearted mood. But when Adam spoke of Joao, she was staring out the window thoughtfully with a firm looking face, "Yeah. Only that I hurt his feelings more than once this summer." And she did it kind of on purpose. Sighing she shrugged one shoulder and half-smiled at the boy next to her only to feel how actually close they were sitting. "I want to do this," and yes part of her was getting back at Joao, but other part too wanted to just move on and be in love with someone worth it.
Bethan had been searching around the train for sometime, looking for a person she knew. Unfortunately everyone else was caught up in their own business. She couldn't really recognise any familiar faces but she kept awkwardly wandering around the train.
She took out a bottle of ice cold pumpkin juice and took a small sip, she still had to get used to the taste but she quite liked it. She smiled and waved at some other students who must've remembered er but Bethan couldn't really put her mind to who they were.
She took out a licorice wand from her small leather shoulder bag and started to chew, to ease her hunger.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

A part of him was wondering if Louisa was going to get up and go and talk to him, but she remained where she was, turning her focus back to him. At her comment about being better on his own Adam gave a little nod. "Thankfully I managed to get the doghouse I built for JB, so I have been staying in that," Adam said with a little smile. It wasn't really the ideal living condition, but it would do for now, especially since Adam was back at Hogwarts and the accommodations there. At Louisa's response to his about Joao hurting her, Adam looked down at Louisa. "What happened during the summer?" Adam asked, when Louisa wasn't expanding on her statement. "Only if you want to share that is...I don't want to bring up a sore subject." Adam was silent again as he waited to hear a response from Louisa about the suddenly very real and very near potential that Adam and Louisa might actually be dating. He hadn't even realized it, but Adam had been holding his breath, and as the words came out that she wanted to date him, he let it out, turning to look at Louisa. Adam couldn't stop the smile from coming across his face. "Okay," Adam said, before leaning forward and placing his lips to her forehead. "Let's give this a try."

Carson wandered down toward the front of the train out of boredom and the hope that he'd see someone he actually knew. He'd seen Alec but he was busy talking to someone else at the back and he was hardly going to go interrupting his friends conversation. Besides, he was talking to someone Carson hadn't even met yet. He dodged past the people in the corridor keeping hold of the straps of his backpack.
He needed food! And now! He was starving and he couldn't go an entire trip without eating something. Luckily he'd already supplied himself with some food for the journey ahead and probably even anyone he met whilst he was on the train. But for now, he was happy just looking for an empty compartment and munching on whatever he could find in his pocket. He let go of the straps on his backpack and dug around in his pocket finding a packet with cookies in. Ooo! COOKIES! Carson's second favourite food. This made him happy.
As he got closer and closer to the front of the train he spotted someone he knew. Smirking, he made his way toward the younger girl making sure not to make it obvious he was coming up behind. "Looking for someone in particular?" he asked in her ear. SMIRK! SMIRK! SMIRK!

Okay, maybe the hug was slightly weird. It was just one of those things that randomly came out of the blue! And Alec wasn't used to being the one to hug someone first. Usually it was the other person, most usually a girl, who would hug him and now... he had gone along and done that!
But... it felt nice to hug someone first. Especially when the other person liked the hug which seemed to be true for Indy's case. No one would smile once someone hugged them, would they? And Indy didn't feel small or big in his arms. Just perfect. That was good!
Alec smiled as Indy leaned towards him. He nudged even closer, making his shoulder available for some head leaning. That is, if Indy was trying to lean on him but thought he was just too far away. And look! There was the fudge! Alec picked it up and bit into it. Mmm... "Indy, this is so good! Where did you get it from?" Oh! One other thing... "Gummy bears?"
South east England... "So it's near King's Cross?" Because... King's Cross was in London which was south east England. Nearly. "So how was it?" Unless she had said so already... "Mine... wasn't too boring! We saw each other at Lyss' cousin's house!" That was a fun part. And Disneyworld. And California.

She lowered her head and pressed it against Adam's lips closing her eyes for a second before lifting it back up and smiling back at him. "Yeah." What was it so bad or nerve-wracking about dating your best friend anyways? Adam had given her his word that if things don't get too happy for them, he still would be her friend so she was safe. Right? Right.
Looking back down to JB, Louisa shook her head, "No. I don't want to talk about it. It makes me angry." And they didn't want an angry Louisa in their first seconds of 'dating'.
... speaking of which, she cleared her throat and a slight blush made its way to her cheeks. So.. now what were they supposed to do? Talk like always? Hold hands? Was she supposed to lift her face to give him access if he wanted to kiss her? Siiiigh. Why was it just so hard to act so suddenly? Just few minutes ago she was completely normal and being herself!
"Paulie's a Head Boy, did you know that?" Safest subject to regain her usual annoying self. GAH!
Sophie felt like she was surfing. The train was going faster and faster and she was standing there, trying to balance herself. That was one of her favorite things about the Hogwarts Express. First, because she could see all of her friends again, seconds because it was taking her back to Hogwarts and thiiird... she could SUURF! Heh!
This Sarah girl was indeed looking forward to a looot of things! And she should! IT WAS HOGWARTS!! "You'll love your time there!" And she wanted friends that were girls! Haha! "Well, weee can be friends!" She said grinning and throwing her arms up and trying hard to keep her balance.
"Ooohhh, my dad was a Ravencalw too! But I'm a Hufflepuff like my mum." Sophie smiled. "All four houses are really cool!" She did like them all!
"Yes we can", said Sarah with a smile. Finally her brothers' Operation Social Sarah was underway. Mission one completed get: get a friend. Oh, well, if only she could summon the courage to let her brothers know how she really felt. That she was not the nerd that she let on. She was the social butterfly at heart, yet back on the farm there were no girls at all to befriend, so what else could she do but be content with a book. Oh well, Sophie seemed really nice, she hoped it was a case of "Birds of a feather stick together", because it was a case of "opposites attract", and Sarah was not so nice then, what hope did she have.
Sarah reached into her bag and brought out her container of her mother's brownies. She offered them to Sophie and to the rest of the occupants of the compartment she was in.
