The present explanation is easier to absorb into mind. Xing smiles, proving that he understands what she means. When the badge girl tells him to get another thing, he doesn't move immediately. Instead, he looks at the planks she pointed at earlier and only after a few seconds he goes off to the pile Louisa mentioned. Xing doesn't return really soon, but when he does, he has a square shaped piece of wood which matches the colour of the two planks (although not similar).

Then he heard it. A girl asking for a partner. YAY partner. The Hufflepuff slowly made his way towards the girl. "Hello. I don't have a partner. Do you want to partner up with me?" he asked the older girl.

Well Zack wasn't the only one who didn't had a partner yet. He looked worriedly thinking everyone was about to finish their work and he would be just left here all alone without a partner and get no marks if they were going to get any. He looked around nervously this time. His face turned bright as he finally spotted someone who needed a partner as well.

"Hey, here" he called out to the girl asking for a partner. "I need a partner. Want me to join?" he asked looking at her slightly confused.

A mute partner.

Well, this class wasn't so bad after all, was it? Louisa liked the silent boy. She nodded at him, trying to be as quiet as he was, and took her wand out. "Now we build." She said, breaking her quietness a second after issuing it. "Come on, help me hold the wood piece you got up." She dropped to her knees and held one edge of the wood and raised it, "We'll get the wheels and then stick them one by one on the to-be floor plank." She paused and looked up at the boy who possibly didn't get this. "Wheels. Wood. Together." Now, get to work.

Louisa grabbed a wheel and dragged it to her, she placed the wheel -in a standing position- and with her free hand she grabbed the wand from under her tunic and, "Adhero," she stuck the first wheel to the floor. "See? Easy," emphasizing to her partner. He should do two wheels and she was going to do two.

One down, one more to go.

Penny was getting a little angry at her lack of options. Maybe she could do the thing herself? A voice had her turning though and there stood her rescuer...a small Gryffindor. She smiled down at the first year? No...maybe second. Hmmm..

"Hi I'm Penny and no I won't mind at all."

Finally! With a large smile the Ravvie walked over to a pile of supplies and found the piece that was meant to be the floor of the wagon. Penny dragged it to a clear spot on the ground, then put the two boards meant to be walls close by, the wheels of course, and then the pulling handle.

She looked at Oichi. "So, ya wanna each do a wall separately or I hold a wall while you stick it with the charm?" The wall pieces looked a little heavy and she wasn't sure if the little Gryffindor could handle on by herself. Asking was always a sure bet anyway.

Blimey, she was getting busy with the wand, wasn't she? In the time Spike had chosen and dragged back his one bit of wood, Kate had accumulated four wheels and the handle. He nodded approvingly as he put down his bit of wood. "Nice work," he said with a smile.

...as for the walls? "On their way!" he said with a crooked grin. "I wanted to check you were happy with the size of the floor first." Because that would dictate the size of the walls afterall... And he noted that she said little walls. He'd certainly support that. "Be back in a mo..."

And with that he was off again to the wood pile, on the hunt for wall pieces. He quickly located two identical pieces that would do for the two sides. They were possibly a bit long, but they could always make a style feature that. The back piece was proving a bit more difficult. All the pieces seemed too big, or too small, or too narrow. Basically, just wrong. And he wanted their wagon to look good as well as work...

And then he spotted a piece near the bottom that looked like it could work. He tugged it out, falling backwards are he did so. It was worth it though, as it was just the piece he was looking for.

Three walls sorted! He headed back to Kate once more.

"Ta-dah!"

Okay, maybe that was a bit pre-emptive. They had to stick it together yet. She was good with sticking charms, yes?

Yeah, I have a partner "Nice to meet you Penny, glad you wanna come along for the ride. As for how we get this project done, well, I think we should work together. I am rather new to magic, I don't know many spells. Oichi said and then gathered the supplies they needed. She then took a board and put it to the wall. I think you should do thesticking first so I get a better idea of how to do the spell and then I'll try it".

Yeah, Kimalia was sure Vickers was on track, only stopping to check on what his problem was, but bless his heart, the fourth year Slytherin boy helped him out already. Goodie. "Yeah, I think that's it." Briefly testing by trying to stick the wheel in a random position on the board. "Ahd-high-row." Then bending to try pulling it off, okay it was stuck. "Ah-Wek-sis." Now trying to pry it off, it came out simple. "Yep, yep!" Hmm.. but now that she saw where she randomly stuck that wheel in the middle of the board gave her an idea.

She took the now wheel-free board that could be used for the wall.. Hmm, she wanted to make sure what she did next was a wise thing, "Hey, how about we cut out a little opening, so that we could have like a little window of display so come can come and get their fortunes read?" You know, like those muggle ice cream trucks she use to crave for as a little girl. Maybe it might help them speed faster? She needed some confirmation on that though. "Or at least a little door for one of us to crawl in and out of so they won't feel caged." She liked asking before doing stuff, she didn't want to look stupid for doing something out of line, after all.

Damon looked at the two as he scrambled behind them. He smiled at Minnie, walking over to her and helping her down then pulling him into his arms with a small chuckled, "You alright? Seemed like you were going to fall out there for a while."

No. This was not acceptable.

Theodore stomped his foot hard, "Helloooooooooo... Partnerless, here!!!?" Theodore Kinsley... without a partner... what a stupid concept. The boy crossed his arms and pouted, then soon realized how quickly the others were getting on.

Work? She tilted her head to one side as she considered this. Summoning, levitating. Wand work. It was till work, soooo..., "Thanks!" she said, before he went to get the walls. Once they had all the materials they could start. And perhaps add a few of her necklaces as well for sheer amusement. She had plenty to spare, after all.

Her eyes followed him as he began his quest for...three pieces of wood. Spike did look like a kid, and it was rather surprising he used his wand for...nothing at all. Was she overusing it? No, there wasn't such a thing.

The minute her eyes turned to the collected items on the ground, was the minute he returned. With three pieces of wood... one slightly larger but the remainder could be cut off or they'll work on the design a little bit more.

"Perfect," they had the basics.

Now, she took the piece of wood that would be the base of the cart and held it out for him to take, "I'll need you to hold this so I can stick the wheels to it...although...hold on a moment," she was thinking of something, and she held up her index finger to signal she'll be right back...and then moved to the pile of wood. It didn't take long for her to find what she was looking for, because she had an idea in mind. That's when she returned with two relatively-slim blocks of wood that had almost the same width as the base they were using, though she quickly Diffindo'd one of them so they were the same length.

"One wheel will be on this side," she pointed to one end of the block, "The other one on the opposite side," she gestured to the other end, "These pieces of wood...," there were two, because there were four wheels, "...will act as support to our base, like beams work. Sound good?" he better agreed, because that's what they'll do. In case he didn't understand, she made the movements the Professor had made before and said "Adhaero," as she kept one wheel in place, and did the same with a second one. Now they had one piece of long wood that had wheels on its extremes, "Same for the other piece," she said, before flicking her wand again, "Adhaero," it was said twice and those two wheels belonged to that piece of wood. Good.

Okay, "Now, the base would go over those pieces of wood... do you want to try stick the base to them? Or you'd rather hold the base and the other pieces for me?" it'd be nice if he got some wand work done, you know?

Paulie glanced over at Kaiden as he made an initial attempt and failed, though on his second try, the boy adhered the boards together. "Nice one, mate." He handed the piece of lumber to Beezus before she, too, used Adhaero to stick them together. Yeah! They were workin' at a pretty good pace, if he said so himself. Of course Kurumi and Selina had worked like speed-demons, but he was all right with that; after all, they were both in his house and his current team was doing a really good job.

"'Kay, so, I'll make two of the side walls now, and you guys can each make one." Grabbing some more of the wood, he set to it with the Adhaero spell again. The seventh year attached the one wall to the base with another wand-flick and 'Ahd-high-row!', then shuffled over a little to make another wall on the other side.

It worked! He had gotten the attention of Jory. I'm fine Jory, Yeah. I need a partner.He looked to the wood pile that was slowly loosing pieces of wood as he watched others put their carts together. he took out his wand. Best we get started now,so we aren't the last ones across that finish lineHe walked over to the wood pile, pointed his wand at the pile. Wingardium Leviosa He directed one of the floor boards over to Jory and almost dropped it onto his feet. Oops! sorry Jory! he cast the hover charm on the rest of the wood that they would need and settled them nicely beside Jory. Lets get to sticking then. Oakey said with a smile.

Sierra glanced at the others, thinking they'd be ready to jump in and stick a few pieces together, but they'd been quiet for some time. She guessed they were still thinking things over. Either way, if they didn't get a move on, time would soon be up. "Well, I guess I'll take the last of the side," she said, reaching down and looking through the boards. She went through them until she found two pieces that were the same length. After pushing them together, she aimed her wand toward them and went through all the right movements. "Adhaero!" she said, sticking the pieces together.

Then she positioned the boards in the last remaining slot, the only one still needed to make the shape of their cart. Then she went through all the wand movements again. "Adhaero!" she said. Standing back, she noted that the last of the sides was now in place. "So all we need to do now is stick the handle and the wheels on."

Watching as Nigel climbed carefully into the cart, Isaac went around putting the rest of the items onto the cart with "adhaero" making it look a bit more like the cart that the professor had there. Breathing a sigh of relief when the cart still held up, Isaac finally smiled. Maybe they could actually successfully get this thing together and moved across the finish line!

Looking around at the teams working on their carts, he wondered if another team got it already. Well even if they had he was still determined to cross the finish line, they just might get points anyway, just by making it across! Or he hoped anyway... "Good!" he said looking up at Nigel who was now in the cart. "No problem. Jus' hold it in place there." Leaning down he looked at where Nigel was putting it, eyeing it on both sides, moved it just slightly over a tiny bit to the left, to make it center he tapped it "adhaero."

Stepping back, he looked at their cart. Leaning to each side he inspected it carefully. Then even walked around it some. "I think we're set!"

Well that sounded reasonable. Penny remembered learning the sticking charms at some point last year but hadn't used them since. It seemed that she was going to put them into practice again. Taking a deep breath she grabbed one of the wall pieces and hefted it into place. Quickly before it could move she muttered the sticking charm. "Adhaero."

The Ravenclaw let go slightly to make sure the charm had worked and then let go fully. Penny stepped back and moved a stray strand of her auburn hair out of the way so that she could see better. It looked good...except it was a little crooked.

Great. On the bright side at least she could demonstrate the un-sticking charm. Deciding that it was the left side that was off Penny took hold of the wood and pointed her wand. "Avexis." The left side went loose enough that she could push it even with the floor section. "Adhaero."

Again she tested it to make sure it stuck and then stepped back. Nodding she looked at her young partner. "There ya have it. Just focus on what ya want and it's easy." She grabbed the second piece and fit it to the floor board. "Here I'll hold it and you charm it."

Hydra noticed a boy working on his own, she began walking up to him and stopped only a few feet away from him. 'Hello...' She began 'I noticed that you're in need of a partner too... Can I work with you?' Hydra felt more nervous than ever before which was weird because she has never felt this nervous... Not love at first sight nervous... Just... Nervous...

"OWWWWWWWW."

Theodore pushed out his bottom lip and sighed. This was going nowhere. He might as well just storm out of this lesson. OH, a person had actually ackowledged him, HUH?

"YESSSSSSS." Of course!!! He needed a partner heeeere. Theo pointed to his plank of wood on the floor. "That's the floor." Yeah. He hadn't gotten far.

Nigel walked around with Issac to inspect their work and agreed with him that they were basically done. All that was left to do was get in the cart and have his teammates push him past the finish line.

So Nigel said "I think you are right so i am going to get in the cart now". Nigel carefully gets in the cart and wonders who is going to push him across the line, "Um who is going to push me?" Nigel was a little scared, nervous, and afraid because this was the first time he has done anything like this in his whole entire life.But he had to do it so he braced himself and closed his eyes waiting to feel the push which meant that they were a step closer to the finish line.

Okaay. So Indy was kind of just watching what the others were doing. Which was bad. She wanted to get going and do stuff. But she didn't want to like stick something to the wrong thing. Because that would not very good at all. She turned to the slytherin girl as she spoke. Ooh. Now she new how to say the spells right. That was good. Because then maybe she wouldn't like say the thing wrong. "Ahd-high-row" She spoke, not actually doing the spell. But just practising. Because then she would at least know that she could do it right. Hopefully she'd get to stick something together. Like a wheel or something.

Ooh. Slythie girl was speaking again. "I think a door is a good idea..." She mused, because well being caged in wouldn't be very fun. "I mean then we can get out easily..." And it wouldn't be scary. Also if the cart like fell over they would be able to get out. Instead of being trapped in it forever. Seemed like a good idea to her.

'Ok!' Hydra smiled 'Umm but maybe we should start with the wheels first...' Hydra walked over towards the equipment and returned to the boy holding four and a few more planks of wood and placed them on the ground next to him. 'Hi, I'm Hydra.'

They were onto the second wall now - well the first wood of the second wall. Pointing her wand at the wood of the wall she cast the spell. Nervous - yeah she was nervous and someone had already won, but she just wanted to get the class project done...because honestly it was better to learn spells than not to right?

"adhaero" she called out wand pointed at the wood - the second wall was beginning to grow. Next they would have to unstick the roof from the pile it was sitting in and then attach it to the walls. Yeah that would be good - and the puller they needed those as well.

Wheels would help. Although, why did it need wheels? It would only roll away... Meh, whatever. The girl got the wheels and more wood, which was cool. Theo took the wheels and placed them very neatly on the floor.

"SO...." Theo pointed his wand at the wheel and said, "Adhaero!" Did it work? NOPE. "ADHAERO!" Yesss, success!

"Hey, me name's Theodore."

The Ravenclaw lad was confounded when the wheel remained stuck on the floorboard despite his incantations. When Dylan spoke he turned his head towards the Slytherin then back onto his notes several times. "Pronouce V as a W?" Well heck maybe it was force of habit on his part to pronounce Vs just like he would pronounce them in his own name. He repeated the wand movement for the unsticking charm but time uttered the incantation as Dylan suggested. "Ah-wek-sis".

And just like that, the wheel came off with his hand.

He shot Dylan a look of pleasant surprise and gave the Slytherin a thumbs up. Ok, now he's got his spells straightened out.

He propped the wheel up and grabbed hold of the wood that would serve as the axle "Adhaero" he uttered with the proper wand stroke onto one end of the axle then drove the narrow end into the center of the wheel. The spell work, and the wheel was now stuck on one end of the axle. Vickers accio'd the other wheel and repeated the same sticking charm on the opposite end of the axle, attaching the wheel in turn.

Now they got a working pair of wheels!

Vickers repeated the steps with the other pair of wheels and the axle and soon enough they had a set that would support the front and the back of the cart.

He looked at the Slytherin Captain mentioning about cutting the boards for walls. "That would be good. And we can just attach three walls onto the cart--two sides and the back-- then leave the front open" Keep the design simple yeah?
