"WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?" she said smiling. "A boyfriend?!" she said. "Wow! Who is it? Tell me! Tell me! Tell me! And I'll read you this letter from Rupert!" she said, pulling it out and waving it in front of her face.

'I KNOW!' Rose squealed. 'I was gonna make you guess, but I guess I can tell you!' Rose chuckled. 'Justin Wellheart. He's a First Year Hufflepuff.' Rose blushed. Yes, he was younger. That happens a lot though! 'But. Now I'm not so sure. I-I don't feel like I did when I was with William. I'm scared. I'm worried I only like him like a brother. I'm just so worried. I'm not so sure I feel a spark.' Rose said worriedly. 'What should I do!?' Rose wailed. 'Now, letter!' she demanded, her cockney accent ringing through clearly.

"Justin Wellheart....I never heard that name! I should meet him some time." she said smiling. "And I don't know what to do really...well let's see how the first few days go and if you don't wanna be with him, break up. Tell him how you feel." Ronnie said, hoping this might help. She was terrible at these kinds of things. "Oh. Letter. Right." Ronnie said, handing Rose the letter which read......

Dear Ronnie and Rose,
The date was plain amazing. Probably the best night of my life, other than that one time we pranked Tony...anyway, I have just fallen in love with her. She's soo pretty, funny, nice, oh I could go on all day but I wanna keep this short. Sorry we couldn't get any pictures to you, I forgot..please forgive me! Love you both!

'It's alright now, I broke up with him... I love him like a brother, that's all...' Rose said sadly. She took the paper and read it. 'AW!' Rose beamed. 'Aw, they're in love! That is so sweet!' Rose chuckled. Then she gasped. 'NO PHOTO!?' Rose said in mock annoyance. 'We shall have to ignore him now!' Rose decided before chuckling.

"Ohh okay. Are you happy with that?" Ronnie asked, wanting to make sure Rose was alright.

"Yeah they are! I just love it, I can't wait to meet her!" Ronnie said excitedly after Rose had read the letter. "Yes. Let's ignore him for not sending a photo!" Ronnie said nodding her head.

William is very sad. He wonders if he should let the Whomping Willow hit him.

As Ronnie spoke to Rose, she noticed William by himself, looking sad. She cocked her head. What was wrong?

She walked up next to him and smiled. "Hey, I couldn't help but notice you didn't look to happy...is there something wrong?" she asked.

"Hey!" Jez pulled on the arm of a second-year Gryffindor who was getting a little too close to that Whomping Willow. "Ever heard of self-preservation?" She studied his face. "What's up? You don't exactly look chirpy."

" I am happy you talked to me" Willaim told Ronnie." Just a lot of my friends have not been around lately" William said to Ronnie. " I am really missing Witsy" William explained to Ronnie. William looked sad again." I have to be better cause you are talking to me" William tried to smile.

" Yes. but I really do not care right now" Willaim told the girl. " I am a little happier now that you and my friend Ronnie talked to me" William said to her. " For awhile, I just thought I did not have any friends and have not seen my giirlfriend Witsy fpr days" William explained to the girl. " My name is William montcenaggio but my freinds call me William Starr." he introduced himself try to force a smile.

Rose nodded. 'And he is too, he's just confused. He gets it now and agrees with me, and he also says the subject of age. He's gonna be 11 soon, whereas I'm gonna be 13 in January.' Rose told her.

'I should think you're excited!' Rose beamed. Rose nodded. 'ACH! We can't ignore him, we'll get no more letters!' Rose groaned.

"Well, you've got guts, William," said Jez. "I'm Jezabel Black, but everyone calls me Jez." She tutted sympathetically. "Tough about your girlfriend. She's got a cool name, though." She scrutinised him. "Was having no friends really the basis for your suicide mission just then?" She nodded towards the offending Whomping Willow. It seemed to creak back at her, and she shuddered. That thing was just plain creepy.

" It is eother guts or stupidity" William told Jez. " Nice to meet you Jez, a lot of people call me Will" William said to Jez. " She does have a cool name and I really should not feel so bad" William explained to Jez. " I have freinds, but I had not seen them in a long time nor my girlfriend in a long time either" William sighed. " I really appreciate you helping me" William smiled.

"No problem, Will," grinned Jez. "Since you're a Gryffindor, I'm guessing it's guts." She glanced at the tree, which looked as murderous as a tree could. "What's the point of having that thing in a school?"

Oh, that grin was cute but-wait ! Now it was her turn to be confused. Her brows started arching animatedly. "Huh ?" she asked him, her mouth open and almost didn't move when she talked. What was this boy talking about ? Of course she knew that he can see her, she was not dumb not to know.

"I am just a first year and you expect me to now how to be invisible ? Oh, how I wish !" That was right. How she wish she can be invisible. That would a very great thing to happen. Yeah. She brought out her wand and started her odd mannerism when she was not too comfortable. Tapping it on her palm.

" Good that I did not hurt myself" William told Jez. " You would think it is guts,but not really" William said to Jea. "Actua;;y it was not stupidty either" William expalined to Jez. " I guesss it is part of Hogwarts mystique" William smiled.

At this point I realized I was just a bit lazy. Or scared. Or…something, I dunno. I wanted to say something, to do something. But it just wasn’t…I don’t know. I’ve done it plenty of times before. Meet a pretty girl during rehearsal, invite for coffee after school. It was as simple as that.

However, this wasn’t so simple. One, she didn’t drink coffee. And two, well, it just didn’t seem right. I don’t know why. I felt like I should…do something fantastic, wonderful, and bizarre. But…I had no idea what that was. Or how I could feasibly pull it off.

And then I looked back into her. Into her eyes, her nose, her lips, her cheeks, her hair. I let it all in. I sighed. It was a very Un-“Ew. Brits. Sigh” type of sigh. More like a “This-Is-Awesome” type of sigh. I guess. I remembered what had happened last time and I didn’t want that to happen again.

But…this time felt different.

Maybe I should take it slower though, just in case. Our pinkies touched, making me shiver just a little. Almost like when you touch an electric fence. A nice electric fence. A pretty electric fence. …Okay, toss that. An electric shoe.

Ha! Get it? Electric shoe? Cinderella! I grinned at my pun a chuckled a bit. And moved my hand over another half an inch.

"Ohh, I'm sorry! Well I'm here for ya." she said. "If you ever see me around just holler!" she said laughing. "Witsy? Who's that?" Ronnie asked curiously. She had never heard of her...or maybe she had...? Oh well! Maybe if William told her she would know.
"Ohh, I see." Ronnie said. "That makes sense! Maybe there's someone else out there for you, you just haven't found him yet." she said smiling. "Ohh you're right! We can't ignore him..we need them letters to get on the latest news of Holli/Rupert!" she said.

" No problem, you are here now" William told Ronnie. " I might holler, but I really do not want to interrupt your conversation" William said to Ronnie." Witsy is in Gryffindor, she is in her fourth year and is my girlfriend" William explained to Ronnie. " Any boyfreinds for you?" William asked Ronnie.

It was around this point that she realized she had no idea what she was doing, what cam next...or what came first, as neither had made any first moves. This wasn't going to be simple; it was going to be complicated, really complicated. She didn't know why, it was just a feeling.

He was sitting so close; she could easily make the first move, make something happen between them, or at least take a step in the right direction, so he could finish it. But this, it wasn't like other relationships. It wasn't easy to navigate or plan. She couldn't just take one step in a certain direction and end up in the right spot...with him, she could end up somewhere entirely different than planned.

She had looked away from him, briefly, without realizing, and was simply staring at their pinky fingers, just barely touching. When she looked back up at him, he was looking at her. She gave him a soft smile, noticing him noticing her. She wanted to memorize every piece of him; his eyes, his lips, his nose, every hair on his head. Everything. She sighed, content.

The feeling that went through her from his slightest touch was electrifying. It was like getting hit with a stunning spell, but it was a good kind of stun. She didn't even know how to describe it.

She could feel him move his pinky over ever so slightly, but that faint touch still wasn't enough for her. She felt selfish, but that little touch just made her want more. But she didn't want to ruin this moment. Then again...this wasn't like the last time. Something was different about it.

Adelyn grinned at him, and moved her pinky, locking it with his; like a muggle pinky-swear. Then she looked at him with her bright brown eyes, almost asking if it was alright.

'Yeah, I hope so. That's a good philosophy!' Rose chuckled, her cockney accent more profounded. 'Exactly! We need the basic gossip!' Rose winked.

Isobel needed a quiet place where she could sit and practice the Transfiguration spells. She had her small purple notebook in her hand with a pen in the spiraly wire that bound it together. She opened the notebook and flipped to a page titled; Transfiguration. She saw the notes that she had written last night;

Isobel looked around and went to go sit on a flat rock not too far, but a safe distance, away from the whomping willow. She took out her wand and glanced down at her notebook. "Felintas," she said clearly, tapping her head and picturing in her mind exactly what she wanted her hair to look like. It was then that she realized she had no way of knowing how well it had worked because she did not have a mirror. She reached up to feel her head, and she could feel that her hair was significantly shorter; it was about shoulder-length. She gathered up her notebook and her pen and ran into the school to find a mirror.

Our pinkies locked.

It was a magical moment. My arm hair stood up in pure giddiness. I felt like doing something reckless, something extreme. I didn’t know what, though. And we were really quiet. So we just sat that and slowly, slowly I started laughing.

It started out as a low chuckle, then a hearty laugh. I’m not sure what exactly was funny. Actually, I don’t think that was the point. It was a happiness laugh. For a moment I paused, cause that sounded really weird. And then I realized that most of the things I was thinking would usually be considered pretty weird.
I hiccupped.

I looked back into her wonderful chocolate eyes, twinkling back at me like little suns in the darkness of life. Wow, that sounded poetic. I smiled at her, still thinking of something spectacular. Something amazing. Something exciting.

I moved my hand across hers another inch.

"Aww thanks!" she said smiling. "Ohh it's fine...you can if you want unless I'm talking about something important." Ronnie said. "Ohh your girlfriend!" Ronnie said. "Aww, ickle Willie had a gilfwend! Aww how cute!" she said teasingly and pinching his cheeks. "Ohh no boyfriends for me really. Not into dating right now...but I really do like someone here at HOgwarts.." she said looking down at the grass.

"It is!" Ronnie said giggling. Suddenly, an owl flew down from the sky, and dropped a letter in her hand. "Ohh what do you know? New news! And maybe even a picture!" she said excitedly opening the letter, and holding it out so Rose could see the scribbled handwriting of Rupert's. . . .
Dear Ronnie and Rose,
Hey! Having another date, at the ice cream parlor. I just headed to the 'bathroom' to send this out...anyway, I got a picture of us! It's in the envelope too. So tell me about Hogwarts you guys! All I've heard is Rupert and Holli this, Rupert and Holli that...I gotta know about how your classes are going and stuff!

Ronnie found the picture and pulled it out. "Aww!" she said, showing it to Rose. "Aren't they just adowable?" she said in a baby voice.

" You welcome" William told Ronnie. " How would I know if you are talking about something important?" William asked Ronnie." You better run before I tckle you" William said to Ronnie." You say no boyfriends, but you like someone at Hogwarts, so in this case Ronnie has a boyfreind" William teased Ronnie back.

Rose saw the owl fly down and beamed. 'Awesome!' Rose grinned as she looked over Ronnie's shoulder. She chuckled at the 'bathroom' comment. 'Clueless...' Then Ronnie showed her the picture. 'Aw! They look so sweet!' she said, using the same tone Ronnie had been using.
