Selina felt awful saying that to Kurumi but it was true. Treyen was not going to feel bad for Kurumi because the Badger was too involved in his own life to even care how he affected others. Mr. Charles Hollingberry always made Selina laugh. Although she had only met the man in passing when he had dropped off Kurumi that one summer to Whitley it was enough to know what kind of father he was. Besides Selina had heard the stories from Kurumi and he seemed like a very funny guy. Kurumi's reaction was enough for Selina to let out a good hearty laugh, "Oh come on Kurumi. You can't tell me that would not be hysterical."

She was blushing? Her hands flew up to her cheeks to cover up the blush. It was not that she did not want to blush, it was just that she did not want anyone else to see her blush. It was embarrassing. How could she just blush and not control it? Then again she could not control why she was blushing either. Merlin why was this so complicated?

Kurumi sort of...ignored the conversation the revolved around her and her failed love life. Kurumi wasn't feeling confident in any respect to the whole boy issue and would just as well spend her life with a house full of cats at this point. The ones that had feelings for her were either somewhat insane, or hurt her. Selina looked to Kurumi for some kind of guidance in the whole respect of her and whatever she and Gideon were. They were avoiding talking about it. Every time they spoke now it was coaxed with a plethora of things that wanted to be said but neither had the strength to say. They might as have been placed in any other house but Gryffindor for the amount of bravery the two were displaying over this. That was something she admired about Kurumi... at least she had the grit to actually talk about it.

Kurumi nearly faceplanted into the snow when Selina suddenly changed subjects. Snow? Really? Kurumi ought to throw some snow in Selina's face for bringing it up and avoiding the...WHAT? "You HAVEN'T talked about it? And you kissed?" Had they kissed more? Kurumi was sure that they were hanging out together often, so what were they talking about?

Kurumi sort of understood the feeling. She was the same after her and Adam had first kissed. Not knowing what to do or how to act around him. You couldn't be entirely the same around them due to obvious reasons, but you shouldn't totally change how you were either. It was all confusing. "Avoiding the subject is only going to make things worse. When...Adam and I shared our first kiss...I did the same sort of thing...but that is just putting up walls. Denying that it happened. That's, not good. Especially if you keep moving in a certain direction but never acknowledge it."

She held out her hand for a handshake. That was how people sealed deals in the United Kingdom, right?

Still...Selina was distracting her from the point at hand. "Don't...try to make me go off topic," she continued, pushing Selina's shoulder playfully. "Are we in agreement? You talk to Gideon and I'll talk to Jonathan and Ali?"
