I kid you not, this is one tree you don’t want to mess with. It's best you keep a safe distance from the Whomping Willow’s tree limbs or you may end up with a few broken limbs yourself.
And now Quiet Boy decided to speak. It was then that Vashti figured it was probably good that they did have a sort of third person who could jump in with a fairly objective view and prevent her and Louisa from killing each other. But at the same time, his "objective" view still annoyed her a bit because he didn't fully believe her side of the story, and he clearly had more reason to trust Louisa's twisted side of the story since he was her friend and not Vashti's.
But did she still want to be friends with Louisa? Maybe. Maybe not. She was far too annoyed with the little fourth year right now to give a very clear-headed response to that question. Getting it off her chest sounded quite nice though.
Shame Louisa had to go first.
And shame it didn't actually make her feel any better hearing all that. Not even her "I still want to be friends" helped considering she followed it up with "you're annoying". Yeah, like that was going to make anything better.
Least it was her turn now.
"Yeah, well I hate how you think you're right about everything and I hate that you thought it was better to come here and prank me - with a friend, no less - instead of facing me yourself. I hate how you don't think about the consequences of your words and actions before it actually happens, and I hate how you try and justify everything you do, no matter how wrong or hurtful it is. I don't care what your 'real purpose' for using the love potion was - it's wrong no matter who you use it on and no matter what your reasoning is. If you want someone to love you and respect you, you have to earn it, Louisa. A bloody love potion is not going to fix all your problems. It's only going to make it worse. So it's time you grew up and fixed your problems yourself instead of blaming it on other people and trying to get magic spells and potions to fix it for you."
Hm. Both Louisa and Quiet Boy were right about something at least - it did feel pretty good to get all that off her chest.

When she turned to him and said that felt good with a little smirk Adam smiled and gave a nod of the head.
Then he turned to look at Vashti to indicate that it was her turn to go, and he listened thoughtfully as Vashti spoke. As he was listening to her he realized that perhaps in a way there was some truth to Vashti. Louisa was a think with her emotions kind of person, not that there was anything wrong with that, but sometimes it did put her in situations to get hurt not only herself but to hurt other people. Even Adam wasn't sure how he would have responded to Louisa if he'd known that she used a love potion on him...Was Dallin going to start talking to her again? He couldn't blame the kid if he needed a bit of time. And as Vashti continued it occurred to Adam that Vashti sounded like the kind of friend that was tired of trying to mentor and help Louisa...after all he was pretty sure that Vashti was older than both of them, and her words definitely made it sound like she was tired of trying to do the right thing and being stomped on by Louisa's angry words or silly pranks.
When Vashti had finished speaking Adam gave the girl a warm smile. "Do you feel better now?" he asked, hoping that getting it off her chest had at least helped a little. He was going to ignore the fact that Vashti hadn't answered the question of whether or not she still wanted Louisa and her to be friends...perhaps she needed to do a bit more contemplating before she came to that conclusion.
"So...now that you guys have gotten some things off your chest, where do you want to go from here? What do you guys need to try and get back to the best friend status that I knew you guys used to be," Adam said, giving them both an encouraging smile. Was it just him or was he starting to sound like a therapist more than a friend?
Ouch.
Was Louisa really like that? No. She did not believe it. It was Vashti's angry side talking, right? RIGHT?? Right.
Louisa did not respond to her, her eye did twitch throughout the getting-things-off-her-chest talk though, that'd give the older friend what kind of emotions roamed within the younger girl.
...then Adam talked.
Louisa shot him a look, "I don't want to go anywhere from here. If that.." Her thump pointed at Vashti sideways,"..girl thinks that I blame people for my problems instead of fixing them or that I don't earn love of others or that I justify everything I do, as if I'm the next Dark Lord, then she can get the hell out of my life." AND NO, she was not going to look at Vashti as she said this.
this...is not how I imagined things were going to turn out :O

When Quiet Boy asked whether she felt better after her little monologue, Vashti smirked. "I do." It felt quite good to get out all that built-up emotion she hadn't realized she'd even been holding. Some of it may simply have been the product of her current frustration and angry, but even so, it felt good to let it out.
And perhaps she ought to reconsider her mental name for this boy - maybe she should be calling him Therapist Boy instead. He certainly wasn't quiet now, and he was sounding more and more like a therapist by the minute. It probably wasn't his fault though; she and Louisa especially Louisa clearly needed a therapist right now.
And then Louisa spoke, and once again it really only made things worse. Vashti was silent for a few moments, giving Louisa - who didn't even have the courtesy to look at her - a cold, even look. That was all she got out of that? She wasn't even willing to see her side - she was just going to flippantly dismiss it and claim to be the victim, as if everything Vashti said meant she was accusing Louisa of being the next Lord Voldemort? That was all she heard? "I never said you were the next Dark Lord," she finally said, her tone calm but cold, "but if that's what you want, then fine. I'll stay out of your life as long as you stay out of mine." She turned to make her way back to the castle. That shower was calling her name.

Adam had been feeling happy about how things were going, especially when Vashti confirmed that she did feel better now that she had gotten some stuff off her chest. Adam gave her a warm smile and a little nod of the head, just like a therapist would when a patient said something that they had been struggling to say for a while. Who knew he could help their situation so much?
Unfortunately Adam spoke too soon. Way too soon actually.
When Louisa next opened her mouth to speak Louisa was angry, and the words that came streaming out of her mouth negated just about all the little bit of progress the two of them had gained in the past couple of minutes. Adam's mouth fell open slightly as Louisa flicked her thumb angrily at the girl, basically retracting what she had just said about wanting to save their friendship, and continued on to suggest that Vashti was calling her the next Dark Lord.
Wait, what? How did she come to that conclusion.
"Now Louisa, I'm not entirely sure that's what Vashti was trying to..."
But Vashti cut him off before he could finish his sentence, shooting out two cold remarks before turning and walking away. Wait, how had this spiraled down hill so quickly?! Adam took a step towards Vashti, but stopped, realizing he probably didn't know the girl well enough to try and convince her to come back. With a somewhat deflated look that his plan to mend things between Louisa and Vashti had gone so askew, Adam turned back to Louisa and let out a little sigh. Well...now what?

Louisa bit her tongue hard not to shout at the older girl, she just wanted to HURT HER! Instead, she grabbed Adam's elbow and gave him a forceful push toward the castle following him. "I can't believe I actually was a friend to that stuck-up." The girl growled. "Good thing I've ended it soon." Liiiiiiiiees, Louisa was feeling angry and hurt and everything but she was sad that her friendship with the person who accompanied her in Diagon Alley since she was a second year. Vashti did a lot for her but Louisa, too, gave the friend respect and love...it wasn't her fault that Vashti was so bossy and mother-like.

Rose rolled her eyes. 'W-Well. I do have a crush on someone. Someone in your house. Did you know the Sorting Hat nearly put me in Slytherin? I was disappointed when it didn't. It said that because I was a muggleborn I couldn't.' Rose sighed sadly.

'I was.' she nodded.
Oh, she had a crush. At first Raven just wanted to teased her actually, but she made a confession
A slytherin boy?? Who?? Raven was curious about it.
"Really? Who was that?" asked her. No stalking again, Raven! said in her mind. And she was surprised when Rose told her that she almost sorted to Slytherin.
"Hmm.. But If I'm not mistaken, so many slytherins come from muggleborn family." She remembered Sarah, a first year muggleborn who was sorted to Slytherin. Sounds strange..

Rose blushed bright red as Raven asked who. 'Mordred.' she mumbled, still blushing. Yeah, she couldn't help it. It wasn't her fault.
'REALLY!?' Rose gasped. 'So why wasn't I put in Slytherin! I mean, I was a hatstall, the hat couldn't decide whether it wanted me in Gryffindor or Slytherin, maybe the muggleborn tipped it into the Gryffindor bit...' she said, more to herself than to Raven, but she still wanted her to reply.

Mordred? Raven had ever heard the name. But, she never met him. So many slytherin girls she met. Maybe just Jonathan, Daichi and the Head Boy the only slytherin boy she ever met.
"Maybe, you are more gryffindor. It was happened to me." She remembered when the sorting hat wanted to put her to Ravenclaw. But It said that she was too ambitious to be a Ravenclaw.

Rose shrugged. 'You don't know how many times people have commented on how cunning I can be, and I've had many people say I should have been put in Slytherin before. I think they thought I'd take it as an insult!' Rose chuckled. 'It wasn't an insult, it was a compliment!' she laughed.

Raven chuckled to her.
"I have a little bit same story. Some of my friends said I'm brilliant to use my wand. Yeah, I think I'm good in Charms and transfiguration. I also good in History. But, Why I don't belong to Ravenclaw? Maybe because most of my family were in Slytherin, except my Mum and her maternal family. Besides that, the sorting hat said I was too ambitious to be a Ravenclaw." Raven told her honestly.

Rose nodded, knowing how Raven felt. 'I'm good at Transfiguration. And wandlore, as you know...' she smiled, thinking about her unusual talent for guessing people's wands. It was very unusual, and people always told her she had a certain knack to it. 'Raven? Do you think I'm bossy?' Rose asked seriously.

A question that was very hard for Raven. Since she didn't know Rose in detail..
"I think...." Raven just remembered the time when she met Rose first time at the bowling arena. Then she ever had a nice chat at Three Broomsticks. She didn't saw any Rose's attitude that show her was a bossy girl.
"I don't think so.." said her honestly.
"But, actually you asked this question to wrong person. I'm no longer know you, right?" Raven said her opinion.

Rose nodded her head. 'Yeah, I wasn't sure if I was bossy, my sister seems to have gotten angry with me and won't talk to me, only to her twin, becasue I'm bossy or something...' Rose frowned. Not that it was much of a loss. Of the twins, Violet was her favourite. She could see why Violet was in Hufflepuff, she was very friendly.

Hoooo... so, her sisters said she was bossy..
"I think it was natural." said her to Rose. "Sometimes I've ever thought that my brother, Adler was bossy too. He is 9 years older than me, but he was my favorite. And my little brother always said that I was sucks." she remembered Avian at home. She didn't know how was Avian was. She never wrote a letter to him.

So, she has little twins sisters? Cool!!
"Sounds complicated." said Raven. Thank Merlin she only had Avian as his little brother and no sisters!
"Maybe you need to have a heart-to-heart conversation." she suggested to Rose. Sometimes Adler, Avian and her had a heart-to-heart conversation when they had a problem.

Rose shrugged. 'I don't really mind. Yeah, they're at Hogwarts... First years...' Rose said happily. 'Violet's in Hufflepuff, Lilly's in Gryffindor.' Rose nodded.

Wow, How amazing they were together in Hogwarts. Wish Adler were too. But he had been graduated and now worked as Ministry Security.
"Mmmm... Actually, just show to them how much you love them and care to them. You were the only big sister that they have, right? Or you have an older one?"

'Ja, I'm the only big sister. Only Violet acknowledges it though, Lilly pays me no resepct.' Rose rolled her eyes.
Lilly walked into the whomping willow, sighing. Oh no. Rose was here too. As usual. She tried to avoid her stupid, second year sister. Lilly edged to the other side of the room. How could she pay someone like Rose respect?
