Desiree walked into the greenhouse for the first time, seeing the Professor she smiled, "Good morning Professor Bentley." She was pretty excited for Herbology, but she didn't know if she was good with plants, her mom had a garden though. Well she figured she'd find out if the green thumb had been passed down to her.

It was nice in here, it had the feel of being outside without really being outside, but she wasn't sure what was dangerous and what wasn't so she tried not to bump into anything.. She sat down on a stool looking at the interesting toadstool in front of her, very interesting.. then she realized she had sat down right next to her friend. Not very observant Desiree. "Hey Maddy"she greeted giving her a smile. Noticing the book she added, "Anything interesting in there?"

Salander made his way out towards the Greenhouses, welcoming the fresh air for what would be their first outdoor classes. Somewhat. Well it wasnt a tyrpical classroom and the Slytherin lad was looking forward to a change of scenery "Hello Professor Bentley" he greeted her then did a double take at the featured specimen of the day. With a smirk he started whistling an old video game tune as he made his way towards the seats.

Harvey walked into his first Herbology class and looked around for Minnie (Minevra). He finally spotted her and rushed over to her and took the seat next to her just as he had promised her. He held her hand under the table out of the view of the professor and he just kept his eyes on her.

"Hallo, Professor Bentley," Tori greeted the Herbology mistress as she entered the greenhouse. "How's Cricket doing?" While waiting for a response, she took her time looking around the greenhouse and noticed all the toadstools on the opposite side of the classroom.

OOH. Fun.........gi. Hah.

Marilyn was sneaking into class...Why she was sneaking, no one knew. It wasn't like class had started or anything. The blonde just felt like being sneaky...

Not to mention, she had to run to her dorm and change shoes. Heels weren't ideal for mushy dirt.

Taking a seat, Marilyn glanced around to see everyone who'd already arrived.

Ducking her head, she didn't want any Slytherins to see her. She was still SO EMBARRASSED to have lost points...

Ew. Dirt? Disgusting. Plants? Eh. Being in a VERY HOT greenhouse...well, Elliot wasn't a happy camper right now. She inched her way into the greenhouse, looking around with furrowed eyebrows and trying her hardest not to touch anything. She looked very funny, trying to avoid contact with all those...herbishy things. She carefully and slowly put her bag down, not daring to make ANY SUDDEN MOVEMENT. Gah! Elliot could tell she have a hard time at this...

Jayden entered the Greenhouse. "Good morning Professor Bentley" Jayden said politely. She took a spot near the middle and waited for class to begin.

Placing her hair up into a ponytail since she learned long ago to not have it down during a Herbology lesson, Evelyn made her way over to the greenhouse one, counting the stones on the ground as she passed by them. Just one more year of this class, and it was all over. That was a rather strange thought.

Entering the greenhouse, she took a double glance to the Professor before eying the board. "Good day, Professor Bentley." she greeted quietly with a small smile before going to sit down.

Where did she sit down? Right next to Marilyn.

Stare.

Cael grinned upon seeing Elliot and Jayden already in the Greenhouse when he arrived. Nodding politely he greeted, "Good day, Professor," before making his way over to the others and setting up for the lesson. The Greenhouse was sweltering, but honestly what could he expect? Wiping a hand discreetly across his brow, he waited attentively for the lesson to begin.

Elliot raised an eyebrow at Caelius.
"Don't talk to me, Caelius. I'm kind of..." she muttered not finishing her statement and staring straight down at her book, not looking at all. of. the. dirt. GAH!

"Hi Cael." Jayden said, her nose was stuffy and her eyes were red from crying.. She looked away quickly.. hoping he hadn't noticed.

Illiana was nervous about Herbology, she never really had a green thumb. Hopefully things would go better compared to Charms. She felt so bad that she day dreamed most of class that things just didn't stick. She would definitely nees to pay more attention in Herbology to succeed and she wanted to make up for Charms too. Illiana found a seat and took out her textbook, she wanted to review over the first chapter before class started.

Marilyn felt someone sit beside her and peeked over.

It was weird how she really wasn't all that surprised to see the Head Girl staring back at her. With a sigh, she straightened up. "Hello..." She could imagine Evelyn was still steamed about that photo of Josh...and the points thing.

Marilyn felt SO ashamed about the points loss...

To Caroline's on surprise she was walking down to the greenhouses for the first lesson herbology. Yes, Caroline Scott was going back to the greenhouses, and telling those toadstools a thing or two. This had gotten out of hand, Slytherin was 35 points in the whole last time she checked. Which was on her way out of the castle. She headed into the greenhouse where class was being held. She smiled at the Professor. "Hello Professor Bentley, How are you? Oh my toadstools!"

She eyed the toadstools.

Yes, revenge was hers. against those stupid finger bitting, things.

She walked on to the back of the room. Of course and especialy since she was in herbology she would sat near the back. You know so if the toadstools started to attack she would have a head start running away.

Valeria entered the class excitedly. Herbology was one of her favourite subjets! She hoped that she will do well in this class.

"Hello Professor Bentley" She greeted her teacher.

Then, Valeria looked around, trying to find a familiar face. She noticed Jayden, and walked towards her. As she got closer, she noticed that Jayden's eyes were red....like she had been crying. Valeria's brows furrowed. Why was Jayden crying?

Deciding it was best not to ask (at least not now), Valeria greeted her cheerfully.

"Hey, Jayden!" She smiled gently.

Ashley found that he wasn't quite as excited about Herbology as he had been about his other classes so far, but he couldn't just not go. Not everything was going to be fun, after all. And besides, he didn't even know if it wouldn't be fun. All he had were expectations, and those were easy to shatter at times.
He found the place he needed to go by yet again accidentally stalking some others who were going that way, surprised to see the professor standing right there. "Hello, Professor," he said, to be polite, and then went on to find a seat, setting his stuff down as he looked around to actually take in the setting. Well, it did look interesting. Maybe he would enjoy it after all.

Carter headed to class. At least. He assumed that's why he was at the greenhouses. It was convenient to just follow Kurumi around. He'd taken to just packing all of his school things in the morning. It was crazy how much time he'd been able to save by just following the Prefect around instead of actually checking his schedule. For instance, he'd been able to perfect a quidditch move in his head today with his saved time.

"Hello Professor." he said walking in. Yep. He was here for class. Unless Kurumi just liked hanging out with Professors in greenhouses... which was a possibility.

He spotted Caroline in the class and went to join her. She was looking at the toadstools. "Think they're poisonous?" he asked her. Because if not, he wondered what it would take to convince Destiny to eat one.

FINALLY! Orchid thought and almost squealed with excitement. Herbology was her second favorite subject coming only after Care of Magical Creatures and Charms, of course, came in a close third; "Good morning Professor!" She said smiling widely. "I just wanted to intoduce myself before class started, my name is Orchid Simmons and I'm kinda new here, I finally convinced my mom to stop homeschooling me and send ne to Hogwarts, so I guess that means that I'm Hogwarts, and Slytherins, latest fifth year newbie." She said smiling still.

Adam made his way down to the Greenhouses where the plants were the class was held inside a glass greenhouse.He was quite nervous,this would be his first time to the class,an he didn't know what to expect,so it was both exciting but nerve wracking.His past terms,he rarely went to class,an he couldn't remember ever attending this one.As he stepped through the door he saw the Professor an said,in a shaky voice,"H-H-Hello Professor Bentley.Hoping to enjoy class today,I am.",He added with a nod.

Caroline continued to eye the toadstool as she unpacked her bag. She didn't notice that her quill had fallen on to the floor until a few minutes later. She reach down to get it still eyeing those things. She noticed that Carter had walked in. She didn't take her eyes away until Carter sat down beside her and spoke.

HUH?! He was sitting with her.

"I don't know. " She remembered getting bitten by one in her fifth year. And she was still alive. So no?Which was why she didn't care for herbology much. "I know when they bite it hurts."

She was now eyeing Carter. "So enjoying term so far?"

Taking her seat on a stool and setting her leather bag at her feet, Kurumi scanned the greenhouse for a moment hoping to see perhaps the fluffy tail of Walnut appear somewhere, but to no avail.

Her search was postponed for the time being when she heard someone call her name, and she looked up to see the curly hair that could really only belong to one person. "Hello Gideon," she smiled as she watched him sit down near her. "I hope you've brought your dragonhide gloves..." she pointed towards the toadstools.

Yep, she had a bad feeling that perhaps Professor Bentley was going to BITE off more than the students could chew this lesson.
Kurumi ought to have noticed that Carter had, once again, come into class only a few steps after she had. Come to think of it, her foot steps had been echoing through the corridors more than usual, but she thought that perhaps she was just treading too strongly on the cobblestone floors.

She nodding to the captain in greeting when she saw someone else out of the corner of her eye.
HIM.

Kurumi's eyes narrowed for a moment, but not long enough for him to take notice, before turning her head back to the front. The thought didn't even cross her mind that this was a change of pace in seeing him actually walk into a classroom, but such positive thoughts were far from her mind right now.

Adam Burn was one of the biggest jerks she knew, and she was rather hoping that Salander would show up soon. Maybe they would end up flinging manure at each other or something.

Herbology.

This is it. The subject that feared him the most. Jonathan walked his way through the greenhouses for the first herbology lesson of the term. He's just hoping they're not doing extreme stuffs today. Hehe. He saw the professor "Hello Professor" he smiled and looked for a comfortable seat. Yes, he does need one.

He found himself sitting on the side. His thoughts just running about what might happen today. Looking from afar he saw.... toadstools? Jonathan eyed them and now, he's definitely not ready for Herbology.

GULP!

With her hair braided back into a ponytail (because she had this feeling that it might get dirty during the class, or, why not, eaten by some crazy plant) and that usual silly smile on her face, Nora made her way to the greenhouses. Yes, she knew she will most probably get dirty, but she was still curious to find out what they'll learn about.

"Hello, professor," she smiled, and then her eyes ran directly to the...

... toadstools.

Curious, huh? Not anymore.

Janice went to the class, and took a random seat.

"Good morning, professor!" She greeted her.

Destiny skipped her way down to the Greenhouse for the first Herbology lesson of the term, a HUGE smile on her face. She had been wearing that smile ever since leaving the Common Room.. and now her face felt like it was going to fall off. It was a requirement to wear one, she had seen it on the noticeboard! And if she didn't put it on before she left, she would have forgotten it and she did not want to be kicked out of class and forced to walk all the way back to the Castle.

She really did hate walking.

Entering the Greenhouse, she first noticed the toadstools off to the side before her eyes fell on Professor Bentley. Did she see!? Did the woman see her SMILE!? "Hello, Professor!!" she greeted, and moving further into the room, she took a seat.. right behind Carter and Caroline.
