Welcome to Hogwarts! You enter and leave the castle through two great oak front doors to stand in the majestic Entrance Hall. There are numerous doors and staircases leading off from the hall as well as the four house points hourglasses
Anna climbed the stairs. She was in no mood because of the events in her family, so it was a very distant view. She was carrying a pile of books in their hands, but apparently thought and stumbled... Textbooks fell out of her hand and fell down the stairs.
"Oh... And it still..." She said with annoyance and began raiseing books.
Rafe was coming in from the lake and noticed an ickle lil firstie drop all her books. He took a moment to look around and see if anyone was there to help her, but no one seemed to come to her rescue. Well, he wasn't about to be the older git, who just stood there and watched.
He rushed over and began picking them up. "You sure do have a lot of books kid...you need to find you a Undetectable Extension Charmed bag." Rafe had used it on his own school satchel so he could hold tons of more stuff inside it, since the charm causes a container's capacity to be increased, without changing the object's appearance on the outside. "Though thinking of it, that spell's kind of advance, but I can help you with it, if you like the idea."

"The idea is really great. " Anna smiled graciously to guy. "Too many events for one day and too many books. I'm such a absent-minded today, that soon will probably forget, that I study magic and turn to muggle!" She took a deep breath. "It was very generous of you. Thank you for your help." She smiled again, steam "I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Anna."

Rafe chuckled at her thought of turning into a muggle. "So I take it you weren't raised in the wizarding world?" Rafe was around magic his entire life. He was completely aware of it, but knew those, such as muggleborns, had very little idea about magic.
They seemed to have picked up all the books. "My name is Rafe Lycaon." He smiled back at her. "So how are you liking Hogwarts? I take it you're a first year?" It was an easy assumption because she was a lot smaller than other students he knew, but that could be a bit of a understatement considering everyone looked smaller than him. He stood at 6'3" with facial hair and a scarred face, he was never your typical Hogwarts student, especially being half-lycan.
"Looks like you're taking a lot of courses this year." He couldn't really remember much of his first year. Rafe did remember that he was more proactive when it came to attending classes and doing homework. Now...eh, the studious side of him kinda wore off.

She smiled widely. "I have been pure-blood family. Just sometimes I am very distracted and comparing myself with the muggles." Anna cheered up when he heard the assumption that it was the first year of study. "Oh, no. I am studying now in its fourth year, although I know what you mean I'm not as high as the rest of the girls on my course." She looked up at him with his light-blue eyes. "Rafe Lycaon? I've heard about you. You learn the last year, right?"

Rafe didn't really know what to make of her heritage. "Wow, that's pretty rare. I mean pureblood families are scarce as it is, I'm amazed. Everyday I was reminded where I came from. And I can honestly say I've never compared myself to muggles." Rafe didn't care much for a muggle lifestyle. His whole life was revolved around magic. He liked magic and everything it had to offer.
Again another shocker that she was a fourth year. "Ah, well there's plenty of time for improvement. Each person works at their own level and have their expertise in different areas." Rafe was way better in from subjects, but in others such as Muggle Studies and Ancient Runes he was practically clueless. "Oh, you've heard of me huh? What have you heard?" He certainly was curious. He had a small circle of friends, so he was taken by surprised that a stranger knew of him. "I was here last year, yes, but I had to take a couple of years off before that to um...do things abroad."

"Thoroughbreds are rare. My mother is Russian, and the father of the englishman. So I'm kind of a mixture, but a mixture of the pure-line" Anna said with a laugh. "I am very proud of their origin, just when I lose my concentration, I think I am as helpless as a muggles. But we all improve that you rightly said."
"High people always stand out." She smiled "But on the whole I've heard of you only a period of your studies and that you are quite friendly guy. At least I don't exactly have heard of you nothing wrong." Anna said with blazing eyes. "You are a frequent traveler?"

Thoroughbreds? Wasn't that in reference to a horse. He'd never heard of a person being referred to in that way. "Yeah, I come from an ancient Romanian pureblood line. But Russian, that's close to my native country. Vy govorite po-russki?" He was curious to see if Anna picked up her mother's native tongue.
"Friendly guy? I'll take that comment." He figured she'd heard something about his temper. But that was a surprising compliment. "You could definitely say I'm a frequent traveler...I went from Paris to Dublin to Glasgow this summer." But, it was all part of a mission, not really a vacation by choice, yet in a way it was his choice.

"I don't just speak Russian, I write, and I think the way russians, sometimes even more than English!" She laughed, because it was true. Sometimes her fellow students did not understand the jokes which in Russia were a great success. "Rossia - zamechatel'naja strana!"
"I was in India this summer, and last summer in Paris, and even earlier in the visited Naples." She smiled, but her eyes were a deep reverie. "See if my parents travel a lot around the world. The father is engaged in astronomy, and my mother is studying the animal world. The Hogwarts it's almost my house. Because so much time like here, I'm never taked everywhere!"

"That's awesome!" Rafe smiled as he listed to her speaking flawless Russian. "My native tongue is Romanian, but I know a total of about six or seven others. I traveled a lot before I came to Hogwarts and my mom wanted me to be well cultured."
"Hogwarts is okay...I spent a term at Durmstrang, I think I almost prefer some of their teachings." Rafe was tired of this "safe" mumbo jumbo that was taught. In the real world there was dark sorcery and he'd much rather be prepared for it. "India sounds cool. I want to one day go to Asia and some parts of Africa. But, I've been almost everywhere in Europe."

"I think that's wonderful to be everywhere if there is a possibility. So many new traditions, places, people!" On her face was evident that she enjoys every moment of her life. "Just Hogwarts - it is the only stable island, in my troubled life."
"You are a polyglot!" She said without hiding a genuine astonishment "Know so many languages, it's cool... But so difficult!" She tucked a strand of her straw-coloured hair for the right ear. "I'm probably just not dare to learn and the third. Though..." She stopped and hesitated, then continued "The Romanian and German languages always has attracted me. They have special attractive features."

"Well, I'm sorry to hear you're going through some tough times." Rafe patted her shoulder. He certainly knew that life had a way of bringing you down and sometimes it was very unexpected.
"That doesn't sound like a very nice thing to call someone you just met?" Rafe was really confused and then she was complimenting him on speaking many languages. Weird. "Well, if you're famliar with Russian, Romanian should be a piece of cake." Rafe looked down at his watch. It was getting late. "Um...listen, I've got to go...tryouts, but if you need help with and charms or languages, just send me an owl!"

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I guess you're right, I'm too honest with strangers." She lowered her light-blue eyes and her cheeks were covered with a blush. "Anyway, thanks for the help. I wish you good luck!" She turned and went up the stairs.

Plumeria hurried to try and catch up with Anna. She had just seen her drop all of her heavy books, and talking to an older boy of around seventeen."Anna!? Are you ok?" she asked her friend with a concerned expression. "I saw glyph drop all of your books but I couldn't get to you in time."
Dallin nodded to Treyen's thanks. He didn't really know how thankful the boy would be when Dallin actually tried to teach him, but it was nice for right now. He hoped, for some reason, that he would really be able to teach him. Probably because it'd be really embarrassing if all he could say was 'uh... think of a happy memory and say the incantation.' Very embarrassing.
He looked at the ground, thinking about his spare time for a second before looking back at the prefect. "Whenever there's no classes," He said with a shrug. He really wasn't all that busy. Except - "I'm hoping to try out for Quidditch this year, though, so... whenever that's not going, too." Whenever that would be. Very vague, Dallin.
"Just, um, tell me when you want to try it." That would be easiest, probably, to just let Treyen decide.
Was Dallin worried that he wouldn't measure up to Treyen's expectations? Because Treyen had no expectations from the Ravenclaw, he had expectations for himself. "I'm not expecting to get the spell to work at once, just so you know, but it'll be nice to practice it with one person that almost got it right," so, there Dallin, feel free to think of this as practice time with a boy from class, nothing more.
Quidditch, eh? Treyen didn't want to talk about that, he didn't even wished the boy good luck, even though he wanted to, but he didn't in fear that it'll get him to discuss Quidditch and he was in no place to discuss it. Yet.
"Maybe this weekend? I'll send you a note or something, yes?" confirming. But this weekend would be good, correct? Unless Dallin had a tryout to attend to or something similar.

Anna stopped when he heard that it was calling a familiar voice and turned into "Hello, Plumeria. Don't worry, I'm all right. This guy was very kind to help me." She smiled, but her smile was unnatural. "You know, I'm just a little distracted." Her eyes showed internally concern, which happened with Anna in the soul. "I just received a letter from the parents, they reported that back in London, because my grandfather fell ill. And I'm afraid that this is serious." She shrugged, "that is reason why I particularly difficult to concentrate on anything today."

"Thank you for your support, " Anna said and smiled "I hope that everything will be good. And don't want to think much about that. How are you?" She asked to escape from their problems. It was a pleasure to talk with Plumeria, because she was sincere and kind. "Likes to study?"

"I'm great thanks. I'm just about keeping up with my homework." Plumeria yawned loudly as she said this. "Yeah I would like to study. I need to finish my History of magic essay."

"Oh! History of magic! I like it." Anna became a little more confident. "I find it very interesting. And a lot of you have already written?" Anna said with a smile, the one she cocked an eyebrow higher than the other. She did it as is usually the teachers, when checking students'knowledge.

"Ok," said Plumeria enthusiastically. "Do you want to come to the library with me? Or the gryffindor study tables?"
Ryan was heading to the Great Hall when he noticed that he was walking the most terrific stairs.I wonder who came up with these. He decided to head up to someones office.
Arianna left the Great Hall muttering to herself the spells she had leart and was trying to perfect. Reciting and re-reciting under breath 'FELINTAS' and 'RISTARIS'. Until without notice her hair started to change from brown to a pinkish red and her lips starting to become a more deep purplish pink than her natural soft red lips and her eyes changed from green to blue. It was not until she crossed past a mirror that she saw that she had transformed. Happy with herself she thought that it would be silly to muck around with the spell and to keep it the way it is until she has had a few more lessons on the subject.
Violet walked out the great front doors holding her Pygmy Puff. Unfortunately they did not seem to come in shades of green, so she had had to make do with a sort of mauve one, that being the least-distasteful shade she could find (not pink--that was too close to Gryffindor red!)
"Come on, Balzac, let's get this love-fest over with," she muttered as she walked outside.
A dark shape burst through the front doors sending the doors banging back on their hinges. Flynn stood up from his perfectly executed army roll entrance, spray gun in hand ready to squirt anyone that was too close. Shrugging at the room’s empty state, he picked up the wiggling sack and continued on his way.
