Fire and paper do not go well together. The library, therefore, features a reduced number of torches on the walls to minimize any danger to the books. A number of large stained glass windows, placed at regular intervals where the room is part of the outside wall of the castle, ensure that sufficient light gets in. Stretching all the way to the ceiling, these windows depict different famous witches and wizards, momentous historical occasions, and beautifully detailed magical creatures.
Relax on one of the cushioned window seats. Watch the floor and nearby shelves change subtly in color as the sunlight shines through the stained glass panels. Read a book under the calm gaze of Merlin or the fearsome scowl of a Manticore. Sometimes, it is difficult to stay focused here, but there are students who swear that, when sitting at the window of Rowena Ravenclaw, work gets completed faster.
All rules apply here, and although the glass can't be broken by simple spells or physical force, please be careful and respect the artwork on the windows. Remember to keep your voice down so as not to disturb those also visiting the library.
Harvey was shocked at Justin's outburst he had never seen his friend like this since he got to know him, only a moment ago they were all having a good time and now this. It seemed to him that maybe his friend was having problems of his own. He walked over to Justin "Are you ok mate? Is there something you want to talk about privately?" he asked quietly, he didnt want EVERYONE to know that his friend maybe having problems of his own.
" I'm bloody fine, Mate! " Justin snapped. " No problems at all. "

Kurumi nodded. "Eventually." Whatever that entailed. Dragons were certainly on the top of her list for potential careers, but many people expected her to go into baking as well. Perhaps she could take over the Leaky Cauldron or something. However, that didn't exactly sound like the sort of career she wanted. Baking had always been a hobby and, well, one of her brothers had tried to turn his hobby into a career and that had ended in disaster. He ended up hating sculpting because of all the pressure to make something people would buy or else become a starving artist. This was probably why he went into being a reporter. However, her youngest brother had been successful in turning his love for gaming into a career...
She would just have to wait and see.
She giggled softly. It would lose its effect a bit, although a certain effect had already been lost so she supposed that she could deal with his sudden attacks of sparkly teeth every now and again.
Her hands were too her cheeks now as she remembered the whole cat whisker incident. It had been in front of Jonathan of all people too - Selina was to blame. Completely. Thankfully, the Slytherin had known for a long time that Kurumi was a Metamorphagus, so he didn't draw attention to it and had...even called her cute. That, and he said that she looked like Walnut. When Treyen asked about Professor Magnus, her hands dropped to her lap and she squirmed a bit more. "N-No...I tried to once...but another student joined us and I didn't feel comfortable talking about it in front of them," she explained as she slouched in her seat a bit. "I need to though...I...erm...sort of cheating during the first lesson and on the homework." If cheating was the right word for what had happened. Either way, it was weighing heavily on her confidence.
"Father keeps himself busy," Kurumi nodded. "I...I don't know what to tell him about Jonathan though... If he attempted to send you several dozen Howlers, there is no telling what he will do when he finds out..." Although, she somehow had the sinking feeling that he already did.

Kurumi gave Treyen another small nod. "She said that I could go and meet with her anytime...I've just been...sort of avoiding actually making a proper appointment," she admitted through clenched teeth. Yeah, she knew that she sounded ridiculous and was contradicting herself - not to mention everything that her father had taught her up to this point. Him being more open about being a metamorphagus had certainly put the Gryffindor at ease, but there were still so many unanswered things and questions that, well, as a girl she didn't really want to discuss with her father.
Kurumi shook her head again. "But...it is..." she said softly, chewing on her bottom lip and her hands forming tiny little fists on her lap. "In class too...when I tried to use the spell on myself, nothing happened. Nothing at all. I-I didn't want to look like I couldn't do the spell...so I timed my wand movement and saying the incantation with my abilities and made it LOOK like I was doing the spell..." See. She, Kurumi Hollingberry, had cheated on an assignment. Worst of all, she had gotten away with it.
No cookies for her.
Wait...did Kurumi know that those Howlers had been delivered? She really didn't want to linger on the thought too much. She was embarrassed enough that her father had spoken with Treyen about her. "Yeah...my brothers too," she said with a nervous giggle. Especially since Ryunosuke strongly disliked Slytherins.

Justin started walking away again when he heard William spouting off at the mouth again. He turned around and walked back toward him. As he walked he reached for his wand again and this time William found himself staring down the end of Justin's wand. " Ya might wanna keep your filthy sewer closed bbefore I close it for ya!" Justin said with contempt. " I know you're hiding something and believe me I will find out . And when I do ..." Justin was shaking now from an extreme adrenaline rush. That and rage.
Justin started walking away again when he heard William spouting off at the mouth again. He turned around and walked back toward him. As he walked he reached for his wand again and this time William found himself staring down the end of Justin's wand. " Ya might wanna keep your filthy sewer closed bbefore I close it for ya!" Justin said with contempt. " I know you're hiding something and believe me I will find out . And when I do ..." Justin was shaking now from an extreme adrenaline rush. That and rage.

Harvey laughed "I am glad you figured it out." he smiled William is not such a bad guy afterall. He and Minnie are happy with each other. He is ACTUALLY giving me permission to see his girlfriend, wow I can see why Minnie likes the guy. I want her to meet my family, But that is only if she has time to come over, if not it is fine with me. You can come along as well if you want, we wont mind, Trinity and Taylor are staying with me and my family for the holidays, so it wont be like you know nobody." he laughed knowing that William would probably think that he would know nobody except Minnie. "I wont come when she is visiting you, I know that I have to give you both your space and privacy." he smiled, he had learnt that, it took him a while but he learnt it all.
