"Oh we are good, I dont know Minnie might know." he said smiling at Justin

Minerva smiled. "Yes that would be the section in the back left corner."

" Harvey. " Justin said as he shook his friend's hand.
Justin smiled at Minerva when she pointed out the section on wandlore. " Thanks Minnie. I'll be back in a moment. /that is unless you would like your privacy. " Justin turned to where Minerva had told him and dsappeared between the stacks of books.

No ideas yet? "That's alright, you still have plenty of time to figure it out." Nod. That was true. And she might not even end up doing whatever she considered when it was time to leave Hogwarts. If someone would've asked Treyen what he wanted to be when he was twelve, he'd have said 'Wandmaker'. Now, things were different. VERY different.

"I still think one should keep on doing whatever brings most joy or fun into their lives." He agreed with Harlow in that one. And he knew it was a difficult decision to make, "Take your time with it, no one's forcing you." No one was, right? Well, he didn't know if her mother was going to make her take a path she didn't feel like taking, but when it came to Hogwarts, no one was.

He chuckled, "What? I'm not allowed to smile anymore?" he said, in a teasing tone, "I just missed seeing your hair change colors, that's all." Plus, if it was any indication on how she felt about this Slytherin boy she was currently talking about...then he was extremely happy that she liked him. Granted, the hair was no actual indication, because Kurumi wouldn't be dating the boy if she didn't like him.

Honestly, that was adorable. "You're also lucky, Kurumi, for many things." Yeah, including the Jonathan kid. "But he has more luck on his side."

Anyway, "How's your father doing?" He'd made quite an impression on this Lockhart boy.

Jez sat on a window seat looking out through Merlin's robes at the grounds. The world outside was tinted in rainbow colours, making the details slightly hazy. Jez leant her forehead gently against the cool glass, trying to let it calm her.
There was too many things happening right now in her life. Her family's abduction, Scott's parents' divorce, Nate's girl troubles, her upcoming birthday, possibly sentencing her favourite brothers to death ... Jez had an insane urge to leap through the beautiful window to escape it.
She had to relax. For once Jez wished for her eldest sister Desdemona. She might be vain and kind of cruel, but at least the girl knew some calming techniques. Jez seemed to have been born with the curse to take on other people's problems and try to cure them. Maybe she should consider a career in Healing.

"You must come here alot to know that" he smiled "You are a great girl you know that?" he said to her smiling

Minerva turned a little red with that comment. "I wouldn't say I was great, but thank you. Yes I do come here a lot. I think I have checked out every transfiguration book they have." Minerva smiled holding up the book she was reading.

"Yes your favourite subject I am guessing, you have been really good at it from the beginning. But I am going to say you are great, you have really improved in your classes. You are getting better and better everyday. Good keep it up and you will live upto the people you were named after." he said smiling

Minerva couldn't help but smile. "Thanks Harvs" The bookworm in her couldn't help but like that comment. "You are good at the classes as well. I never see Ronnie in class does she not take the same as us?"

"I was only stating the truth, I guess, I am not so sure. I have trouble getting the answers, whereas you are quick to answer them AND you get them right." he smiled "I am not sure, to be honest I have never asked her. I should ask her, maybe she only takes a few classes." he said smiling as he thought of her. He took Minnie's hand into his "Minnie, I have to thank you for pushing me to tell Ronnie my feelings. After you I thought that I would not find anyone that I would be able to love as much as I loved you. But you found me that girl. So thank you." he said as he gave her a hug.

"You are very welcome Harvs. I am glad to see you so happy."

Harvey smiled shyly "I thought that I would NEVER say this..... but I am glad to see you happy, maybe more happier than when you were with me. Yes I think you are more happy with William." he smiled weakly knowing that this WAS true, no matter if she tried to deny it. He could see it.

She nodded. She certainly did have a long time to think about things considering that she was only a fourth year at present. A few ideas were swimming around in her head, but she needed to have a Care of Magical Creatures professor to speak to about it. They had seemed to go mysteriously missing these past few terms. "Hopefully something will, you know, just speak to me and I'll know its what I want to do." A calling or whatnot. Right now, too many things were pulling her in too many different directions.

Wait...he missed seeing her hair change colors? Kurumi almost thought that that was a mean thing to say since it implied that certain feelings still remain. It had been changing colors because she liked him like like-liked him, and it had taken her half the year to be able to put those away in their proper emotional box and set them aside. Or, was he implying that he wished she still had those? That was kind of mean too and decided to just not think on it anymore. "A warning would be nice," she smiled back. "You know your smile can be blinding." Especially in the afternoon glow around the stain glass windows. She idly played with her hair. "I'm...sort of getting better at controlling it...although it still does its thing when there is a sudden burst of emotions. I...I even grew cat whiskers the other day." In the middle of the bloody Three Broomsticks too. "So...I guess things are evolving a little more." Which made her despise her ability more. Not only was her hair some sort of mood ring, now bits of her turned into animal parts without warning.

Kurumi merely blushed and bowed her head at his last comment, not really knowing what to say as she squirmed in her seat a bit.

"Father?" she asked, eyes widening just a bit. Oh, right...Treyen had met him and an army of Howlers over the summer. More awkward. "Father is well, back at the Japanese Ministry as the Head of International Magical Cooperation though." Guess that being a reporter didn't really suit him. She had found it odd from the beginning that he had taken up the post. He loved his work in the Ministry.

"Oh Harvs, I am happy, but just in a different way then I was with you. Not more or better, just different."

Harvey just smiled of course she would say that she dont wanna hurt my feelings. How different can the happiness be, its either you are happy or you are not. Maybe she means that she is happy with him as her boyfriend and me as her friend. I wonder if I am her bestest friend, I probably am. he thought "Ok, although its ok with me if you are more happy with him, its not like I still love you...." at this he felt pain in his chest.what is the reason for this pain, its true I love Ronnie now, so why this pain when I say that I dont love Minnie anymore "As a boyfriend I mean, I mean I love you as a friend, the way you love me" he said quickly to avoid her feeling awkward.

Minerva smiled at him. "Harvey you are my best friend, you know that right?" Minerva smiled and reached into her bag. "I know I'm jumping a head a few days, but I have something for you just in case you are busy with Ronnie."

"er..yes I do and I cant express in words how glad I am to be your best friend." he said beaming, he then got the shock of his life when she got out some presents for him. Harvey just stared at them for a very long time before he realised where he was, he looked at Minnie and then his present and back at her. He was holding himself back but he couldnt "Right firstly I am going to this.." he kissed her hand and held it within his "Minnie I am your best friend you said so yourself, well you are my bestest friend, there is no other friend like you and there may never be. So I am going to stick with you for life, and I KNOW that. Secondly Thank you for these. You take some cupcakes back with you, I want you to eat them too." he said as he let go of her hand and examined the bag "I am going hang this next to that jersey you gave me." he smiled as he looked at the bag. Birthday present for me, and nothing for her as I didnt know it was her birthday. I know what I will give her. I wont give it to her now as I havent bought it yet, but I will give to her during the summer, she is not allowed to refuse. he thought.

Minerva smiled happy Harvey liked his present. "Well I knew you would probably be busy with Ronnie on your birthday so I wanted to make sure you got it now."

"Well I was actually already planning to spend my birthday with the both of you. I was going to spend the evening UPTO my birthday with you, if William allowed me, which I dont think he would but I was going to try. Then I was going to spend the next evening with Ronnie." he said looking at Minnie. "Thank you for the presents once again." he smiled

Smile. "Eventually, right?" Like, there was no hurry in figuring out what you wanted to do. It was an easier thought for him because he already knew the answer to that question, but at the same time he understood how not knowing can tear your mind apart.

Wait. Hold on a second. Her eyes told him something more. But his comment couldn't have been misleading in ANY possible, right? Because he was being careful enough not to mention anything that would make them awkward again.

A warning? He laughed again, but was sure not to let her notice his smile. "It would lose its effect, can't do that." Wink. No, no, seriously, though, "You're obviously exaggerating, but thanks anyway." Ellie had mentioned something about his smile as well, but she'd been trying to make him stop talking, yes?

Cat whiskers? Considering this had happened to Kurumi, then he wouldn't laugh, but it was still a little bit funny, no? "Have you talked to Professor Magnus?" she was the Transfiguration Professor, of course, she could help out a bit when Kurumi's father wasn't around.

"That's good. I'm glad he's doing okay." And oh-so-far-away from them. That was the best part. Seriously, it was.

Kurumi nodded. "Eventually." Whatever that entailed. Dragons were certainly on the top of her list for potential careers, but many people expected her to go into baking as well. Perhaps she could take over the Leaky Cauldron or something. However, that didn't exactly sound like the sort of career she wanted. Baking had always been a hobby and, well, one of her brothers had tried to turn his hobby into a career and that had ended in disaster. He ended up hating sculpting because of all the pressure to make something people would buy or else become a starving artist. This was probably why he went into being a reporter. However, her youngest brother had been successful in turning his love for gaming into a career...

She would just have to wait and see.

She giggled softly. It would lose its effect a bit, although a certain effect had already been lost so she supposed that she could deal with his sudden attacks of sparkly teeth every now and again.

Her hands were too her cheeks now as she remembered the whole cat whisker incident. It had been in front of Jonathan of all people too - Selina was to blame. Completely. Thankfully, the Slytherin had known for a long time that Kurumi was a Metamorphagus, so he didn't draw attention to it and had...even called her cute. That, and he said that she looked like Walnut. When Treyen asked about Professor Magnus, her hands dropped to her lap and she squirmed a bit more. "N-No...I tried to once...but another student joined us and I didn't feel comfortable talking about it in front of them," she explained as she slouched in her seat a bit. "I need to though...I...erm...sort of cheating during the first lesson and on the homework." If cheating was the right word for what had happened. Either way, it was weighing heavily on her confidence.

"Father keeps himself busy," Kurumi nodded. "I...I don't know what to tell him about Jonathan though... If he attempted to send you several dozen Howlers, there is no telling what he will do when he finds out..." Although, she somehow had the sinking feeling that he already did.

"You are very welcome." Minerva smiled "Now you don't have to worry about dividing your time. Just spend it with your girl."

Harvey smiled "Both of you are my girls. You as my friend and Ronnie as my girlfriend. I like to spend equal amount of time with the both of you. But since you now have William it is becoming a little harder to have just 'us' time. But look we are managing it, you and me are both here." he smiled loving this time that they had together, no William or Ronnie.

"Yes this is nice getting to hang out with you. Where is Ronnie I haven't seen her much lately. Is she mad at me for the Rose thing?"
