Eat, drink, and be merry, O Snakes. Classes begin again tomorrow.
The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
And what's this? The silverware is tarnished and askew, almost as if thrust on the table willy-nilly. Take a seat and search for a clean spoon while the Sorting Hat ceremony commences. The House Elves have done their clean up work quickly and effectively, and the silverware and dishes are now set to right.
"My second choice would be a Beater. Quite an outlet for frustration, being able to whack a Bludger." Alice laughed. "I read in Hogwarts: A Revised History that about 100 years ago a 1st Year named Harry Potter got on the team as a Seeker. If he can manage that, you can surely be a Beater. Girl or not. Sometimes i worry I'm too tiny to be a Chaser and are more suited as a Seeker."
Alice giggled. "You're looking at the wrong side. The Hufflepuffs are on this side." she pointed over to a wooden table with about 150 students. A yellow banner with a Badger hung proudly over them. she noticed a small group laughing. They did seem friendly. "Maybe we have some classes with them."
Alice knew asking about the sorting might have been too personal. "Maybe you're such a Slytherin, that the Hat knew it right away. I'm sure the hat makes no mistakes."
Eris was readily able to agree, she had always been strong as a kid and found the ventilation of responsibilities through hitting a bludger remarkably therapeutic.
Looking down at her own small frame, Eris wondered how the scrawny, 4'8", boy like body of hers would look next to a strapping body builder. Well...as Alice said, if this boy could to it, they could. "I'm sure you'd make a great chaser! Just gotta keep working on your arm strength to catch it well" the young witch encouraged with a decisive nod of her head.
"oh...yes" Eris giggled at her own mistake before turning towards the Hufflepuffs who were happily chatting away with each other under the yellow banner. "Definitely" the dark haired witch agreed, "Speaking of classes, what are you looking forward to most? I really like flying..." the witch added though that would have already been pretty clear from her earlier outburst.
Giving a small laugh with a grin Eris nodded, "That's a good way of thinking about it" she lifted her shoulders happily, "I love my house...and it's hardly been a day...so the hat certainly looked at my heart if not my head..."

This was already an interesting enough conversation. Seriously. Weird little books with still, dead pictures in them, that had to be taken all over over the world. Somewhere in the back of his brain, he thought about asking if he could get his hands on something like that one day, but honestly, it sounded a bit creepy. Maybe someday.
"Oh, I've been to Korea," he said, brightening up, just because something he was somewhat familiar with had been mentioned. "Did you ever learn any of those languages? You might still get to go one day," he added with a small nod.
((Oh, thanks! I hope I did it right, and this isn't going to come out formatted all terribly... *fingers crossed*))
Eris leaned side to side with a look that was equal to explaining to your mum why you didn't do your homework while smiling. "Welllll......" she began thinking back on the languages. "Ann-yong-hah-seh-yooooooh." the little witch let out before her cheeks tinted and she looked away.
Turning back to the boy she gave a half-smirk, "Yup. That's all I got." she chuckled at her inability to take advantage of such learning oppertunites. But when your 7, chasing the rabbits in your neighbors field is much more fun than memorizing notecards.
"I speak a bit more Romanian though...and I've been there too...as. little. as. I. Possibly. Can." she added thinking of her mother's family with a shake of her head.
"What's Korea like?" she asked blinking her blue-grey eyes with curiosity.

"Oh! I'm really fascinated with Potions and Defence Against The Dark Arts," she smile brightly. "Especially the latter!" Audrey's mind suddenly wandered of. "So what is it really like in the muggle world? I've always been curious..." she thought of her father who always despised muggles. She frowned slightly. Nothing seemed to be wrong with them though she did wonder a few times how they managed without magic. She couldn't imagine a life without magic.
"Hmm? What's it like in the Muggle world? It's not really that different," Sarah said thoughtfully, "Well, except the absence of magic and all. We go to school, eat, mess around, fight in wars... I'm not sure how to explain it, exactly. I suppose you could picture it as the Wizarding world, except... no magic."
Sarah shrugged, it wasn't very descriptive, but her mind was failing to come up with a creative way of telling Audrey of the Muggle world.

“You said you are muggleborn, correct? Were your parents pleased to hear about you ‘abilities’?” he asked, hoping he wasn’t going too far.

She tilted her head and studied him carefully, maybe he was lying about something. Or maybe he just was one of those people who had tragic pasts that 'shaped them into who they are today'. Sarah pursed her lips and shrugged it off. He obviously wasn't going to say anything further.
"Wha-? Oh, yeah, muggleborn." she repeated, "I'm not sure about 'pleased', but they weren't exactly angry. They just didn't really believe in magic until just a few days ago. Perhaps she shouldn't have mentioned his parents. But it had already been said, so all she had to do now was see if he would abruptly get up and leave because she was digging in past areas he didn't want her to.
"Quidditch? What is that?" Felicity thought curiously, looking between the girls talking, the girl named Eris having just commented on the subject. She was loath to appear ignorant, but she couldn't help her curiosity. The Professor who had delivered her Hogwarts Letter to her personally had not explained what Quidditch was, and she had only really started tuning into the girls conversation when she had heard the odd word.
"Excuse me, but what exactly is Quidditch?" she asked the girl, Eris, carefully.
"Wait a moment." Felicity thought, turning her grey eyes toward a girl not to far away from her own seat, Sarah. "Did she just say she is muggleborn also?" The professor who had come to her home had explained what she was, but she hadn't really understood the term, "muggleborn" really. Still, if this girl was like her, it would put her much more at ease. There didn't seem to be to many muggleborns in Slytherin for some reason or another..she would have to figure out why. Until then though, she thought she might as well put her thoughts out there.
"So you're muggleborn also? My parents were suprised also when I got my letter." Felicity spoke just loud enough for the Sarah to hear her, not wanting to be heard by too many others.

"Wait a moment." Felicity thought, turning her grey eyes toward a girl not to far away from her own seat, Sarah. "Did she just say she is muggleborn also?" "So you're muggleborn also? My parents were suprised also when I got my letter." Felicity spoke just loud enough for the Sarah to hear her, not wanting to be heard by too many others.
Sarah turned away from her slightly broody friend for a moment to see another girl, probably about her own age, talking to her. "What?" she said dumbly, "Oh, yeah, I'm a muggleborn. My parents were sort of surprised, too. But I think they took it pretty good."
Should Eris' containment of herself and the force of gravity not have been against it, the young witch's jaw may have ligit fallen to the ground. "Quiddtich?" she repeated for a moment taking in the fact that the girl actually said she didn't know it. "You know, Quidditch...7 players...ride on brooms...throw quaffle."
Not seeing any registering in the girl's face, Eris decided to continue with a friendly smile. "It's a game...you see...3 'chasers' grab a ball and throw it around trying to get it through a goal witch a keeper guards. During this...two scary balls called 'bludgers' are trying to knock them off their brooms which two beaters have bats to help deflect them. Then to end the game, a seeker chases a tiny fast little ball and once he catches it a match is over...so it could last for days if you have two bad seekers."
She could go on for ages, but decided to stop to see if she understood so far.
Sarah blinked. Did she... say something she wasn't supposed to?
She tilted her head and studied him carefully, maybe he was lying about something. Or maybe he just was one of those people who had tragic pasts that 'shaped them into who they are today'. Sarah pursed her lips and shrugged it off. He obviously wasn't going to say anything further.

Darn curiosity.
It wasn’t Sarah who was doing wrong; it was the subject at hand. Melchior had never really talked about it, nor truly thought about it either. Why did he bring it up? He had no idea. Melchior then realized his actions and sat up with a slight grin.
“My muggle mother wasn’t quite pleased to hear about the news, but my sister was.” Dear old Alisa. He loved her so much.
“I don’t know what my father’s opinion would be. He isn’t exactly around anymore.” The death of his father hurt Melchior the most. He didn’t how or why his father was killed. He’d ask his mother, but she refused to even knowledge the subject. Yet, Melchior was eager to know. Not wanting to give too much information away, Melchior put on a fake smile.
“But enough about me, are you looking forward to classes? They seem to be very different from muggle school classes.”
Raven saw Desiree's wand who produce light "Wow, nice try! You just need more practice at charm class. I can't wait how fun the classes are! But, to turn it off, just say 'Nox'"
She took her cup and drank some, then she continued her talk with Desiree.
"Adler had taught me some simple but useful charms, but I failed some of them " She laughed
"I'll probably need a lot more practice" Desiree laughed, noticing her wand was still lit up she said "Nox" and the light immediately went out. "thanks I'll have to remember that. Adler, that's your brother right? Do you have any other brothers and sisters?" she asked.

She sighed slightly as she said this it was hard being overly honest about things. Deep down the nagging feeling - the push to live dangerously on the edge was creeping forth. But like a good little Ravenclaw - she was trying not to act.
"Exactly - sharing the load would make it so much easier for them...but I do know some house elves get offended - I just hope they don't think we think they aren't doing a good job and therefore punish themselves - or even try to." She sighed. Now that was a lot to handle on one simple breath.
Almost gasping for air she had to stiffle the yawn - the sound that escaped was almost more a moan than a groan. Yawning and sighing sometimes did that to you. Her cheeks flushed pink as the sound escaped her lips. Furtively she glanced at the table that was now topped with clean silverware. She was trying to calm her nerves by thinking of Nimma, and Pips, and Quirly - and all those lovely little self abusive house elves. But it didn't work.
The dungeon dragon deep inside the recesses of her mind was coming out to play whether she liked it or not. "Sooo" she smirked, "who is it you are staring off at?" She asked, glancing over to the staff table she saw some students talking to the staff. Maybe she was pushing to fast to friendship but she knew no one - except for Jack Rose and right now she wasn't talking to Jack. She furtively glanced back to Matt - smirking softly she quickly spoke "well...don't just stare - go and talk to her...or call her over!"
Snapping his attention right back to Dia after it seemed like a couple minutes of staring at the staff table and being both confused and intrigued, Matt chuckled slightly at what she said; like he would just go talk to her right now, there was plenty of time for that now apparently. "Oh.. that's Stella Gardiner, I met her a couple summers ago in Diagon Alley and she did go to Beauxbatons. I guess that isn't the case anymore. And I'm not calling her over her, I'm not going to cause a scene in the Great Hall... besides I was going to talk to her later on anyways." Besides, he wasn't looking to have India try to set them up; that was an incredibly bad idea after what had happened with TJ the previous term, which really wasn't something that he wanted to go through all over again.
"Well I'll be around so you can ask me questions, depending on the subject; I know this term is going to be rather ridiculous what with all the new professors once again and the fact that it is beginning of preparation for NEWTs which are next term." He was already dreading that idea since OWLs last term had been enough of a headache, not to mention there had been the school exams on top of that so needless to say; he did not even want to hear the word exam for a long time.
As the conversation went back to the earlier topic of house elves, Matt had found himself getting distracted again by his own thoughts; which seemed to be something that had been happening more and more frequently as of late, making conversations with him rather difficult. "Hmm? Oh right the elves.. they are a very interesting creature to analyze, maybe we need to sit down and figure out exactly how to go about talking to them about the students sharing the work without them going off and as you've said, injuring themselves as well as thinking they're not doing a good job at taking care of the castle."

Although to be honest she'd never heard her sister mention anyone named Alder. "I've always wanted a little sister, or a little brother would be cool too." Cool, Desiree didn't really like that word, it was so.. plain. but nothing else had come to her mind.

"I'm not sure your sister knew Adler, He was not popular here. Hahahaha " Raven laughed a little bit loudly,. But she was true, Her brother is not popular here. She meaned, Adler was not a head boy neither a prefect. He just an ordinary student with ordinary skill. Quidditch? He ever played as beater in her 5th year but e didn't play again at the rest of his year in Hogwarts. Poor Adler.
"So, what is your sister doing now? Does she works in Ministry?"

Desiree let out a laugh, but then stopped immediately realizing Raven might think it was rude to be laughing at her brother, even though she was too. "You're probably right, Liliana was actually in Ravenclaw and I'm guessing Adler was in Slytherin? so they probably never met.." Desiree looked down at her plate and pushed her food around with no intention of eating it, she hadn't heard from her sister since she left for France after graduation, she really missed her, they had been great friends. coming out her thoughts she looked up again, "Oh, well after Hogwarts she moved to France with her boyfriend, I'm not actually sure what she's been doing though, I haven't heard from her in awhile... but I'm sure she's really busy." Desiree said attempting what she hoped to be a convincing smile.
Trying to change the subject she added, "How about your brother? What did he do after Hogwarts?"

SPOILER!!: AURORA!
Aurora pulled a face, "Hmm, I guess. They're just uncomfortable really..." she said, fiddling with the belt on her coat. "Give me robes any day." Apart from days when she had to go pick ingredients and stuff; robes got in the way.
Aurora's eyes widened, "I am not doing that..." she said in disbelief. "They... they wouldn't would they? Because it's a school of witchcraft and wizardry... they wouldn't teach us muggle stuff... right?" Because that just wouldn't do. She would not belittle herself like that.
She shrugged, "I didn't asked, I was more pre-occupied with how infuriatingly rude he was being." she said. "Honestly, if he's in Slytherin I don't know what I'm going to do. Having to share a common room..." she trailed off. But he was... NO! No amount of cuteness took away from the INSANITY.
"Oh god, Lola Jones and Jonathan Kirk on the same team? The world would explode!" she said, raising her eyebrows. "Yeah... I can't play Quidditch. Krys thinks I'm hilarious on a broom." she added, frowning ever-so-slightly. "No-one will be able to lead the team as well as Aaron." Aurora replied, scratching the bridge of her nose.
She pulled her coat close and did it up, digging in her trunk and wrapping her school scarf around her neck. ”I should be alright, just a little shivery. Oh, I have another little… concoction. I’m putting it in with the Mortaeus flower. It isn’t quite fermented yet, smells amazing though. But we should be careful, or it can knock you out.” she added, grinning. ”Up to something? Me? What on Earth do you take me for Mordaunt?” She feigned offense, dramatically turning her head. ”But seriously, yes. Yes I am.” She watched as Mordred inspected the box, holding her breath. It was a very expensive product. But she trusted Mordred not to drop it… more or less. She smiled as he placed it back into her palm and locked it into her trunk.
Aurora turned to look at the train, ”Brilliant! Let’s get a compartment in the middle.” she said, hopping up. She glanced at the trolleys. ”I’m sure I can manage.” she added. ”Mother put a feather charm on it.” She grinned. ”Come on.” She grabbed her trunk and Sage's cage and dragged them onto the train, gesturing at Mordred to follow.
Mordred followed Aurora as they entered the Great Hall. A few steps away from the entrance, he found empty seats. “Here.” he said as he tapped Aurora’s shoulder. “I don’t know really. I’m getting more and more comfortable with muggle clothes. It’s easier to blend in the crowd.” he said as he shrugged. “I don’t want to be stuck in the old tradition of wearing robes until I’m gray.” he said as he wrinkled his nose, remembering his grandfather’s words about muggle clothes as hindrance to a wizard’s magical energy. He brushed the thought aside, and sat down noticing the dirty utensils.
“Who said we have to attend such class?” he asked as he examined the spoon he was holding. “I’ll do the classics, but the muggle ones..no thanks.” he said with uncertainty. Maybe he should. Hmm. “What in Merlin’s beard happened here?” he said as he looked at the other utensils on their table and on the other house’s tables. “Are the house-elves on strike?” he asked as he pulled out his ebony wand out of his sleeve.
“And what if Jonathan ends up in Slytherin? I’m sure the two of you will get along very well.” Mordred said grinning as he eyed the Sorting Ceremony. Someone insane paired with the mighty Aurora Quinn, is not a bad idea. “I’m going to have so much fun watching the two of you bite each other’s head off in the common room. I sure hope he ends up in our house.” he said as he stared at the dirty utensils once more and thought of the idea of meeting someone as crazy as this Jonathan fellow. On second thought, maybe not. He met Oakey last year in the Armour Room and saved him from a Boggart. Oakey is the epitome of a real Hufflepuff, and Mordred did not expect that he’d enjoy his company. Well, he was being silly all the time and that gave the boy much amusement. None of his cousins were like him.
“I’m almost sure that Jonathan will end up in one of th Quidditch teams. Tell him to join. He just might be what we need to win this year’s Quidditch Cup...that is if ends up getting sorted in our house.” he nodded and murmured, “Scourgify”. Now that his utensils, plate and goblet are clean he turned to see if the Sorting is over and saw instead house-elves up the Staff table. “Kitchen issues?” Just like any other growing boy, he can’t wait for the food to appear, get stuffed, take a nice warm shower and sleep.

Destiny Shepard could talk underwater with a watermelon in her mouth.
The look on her friends face was absolutely priceless. It went from being hoplessly pathetic to horrified in two seconds flat. Mia moved Arnold away from her and giggled uncontrollably.
"Are you saying that you pick your nose Destiny Shepard?"
Should she tell her that her nose was NOT actually bleeding.
Pfft right back to YOU, Mia Gibbins.
Destiny was not even going to bother responding to that comment. She would show Mia that she could and would be able to stop talking. And it wasn't even like she talked alot. It usually happened when she had chocolate and.. well, she did have a lot of chocolate on the train. But still! She was not going to talk, so instead, she simply poked her tongue out. Pfft.
And the whole not talking did not last long at all.
How could it, when Mia had just screamed that question out to the whole world? Okay, so that might have a HUGE exaggeration, but Destiny was sure even the people at the staff table could hear it. "NO! Well.. maybe once, but I thought there was a bug up there. No!"
Huffing, she turned AWAY from Mia and her biting puffskein, Mia had told her he did that, and gabbing the bowl of potatoes that magically appeared in front of her, she began digging in. She was not going to talk.
Because she would choke.

"Wow, your sister was a Ravenclaw?" Raven seemed interesting "Yes, Adler was a slytherin. Most of my family were slytherin, except my mom and her siblings were Ravenclaw." Then Raven took her cup and drank some juice. "Oh yeah, my brother works for Ministry, in Department of International Magical Cooperation."
"I think I might just take you up on that offer..." Eris grinned, though the winter holidays were far off. Taking a bite of her roll she was quick to add, "You like quidditch?" if they ever did hang out, nothing could truly beat a game of quidditch in Eris' mind.
She gave a small laugh as he mentioned her ability to adapt, "I guess looking like a boy must have made me unnaturally tougher" the witch gave a laugh, running a thin hand through her dark hair out of habit.
"Talking to a Gryffindor?" Eris restated with a look of ponderment before she responded. "Well Mr.Gryffindor..." she began raising an eyebrow, "I enjoy talking to you...so I must feel enjoyment in it" Eris chuckled, placing her half eaten roll pack down on the silver plate. "What is meant by the Slytherin-Gryffindor rivalry anyway?" she asked earnestly. As it was her first day, she had only heard it mentioned.
" I am happy you like my offer" Willaim told Eris. " Of course, a lot of my family played Quidditch at school and some of my family played professional quidditch, too" Willaim said to Eris." I am sorry, but you so not look like a boy to me because you have a lot of girliefeatures in the good way" William explained to Eris." I know yo uare tough" William smile." i just so not want to meet the tough you" William laughed.
" I amglad you enjoy my company" Willaim smiled again." Ok, well the Slytherin-Gryffindor rivalry to me goes back awhile when James Potter and Severus snape both liked Lilly Evens" he said to Eris. " James Potter picked on Sevarus Snape so they became bitter enemies but Severus never ;ost his love for Lilly even though she married James" He continued the story. " I tjonk the next rivalry had been Tom Riddle against anyone in Gryffindor in the likes of Albus Dumbeldore, Mcgonagill snd others." Willaim stopped for a brath. " Of course, you know that Lucas Malfoy wanted Harry in Slytherin but Harry wanted Gryffindor so became thus another rivalry if you inclusde Ron and Hermoine plus Crabbe and Goyle" He told her. " You know who Tom Riddle became and you know what Harry did to him, so more of a rivalry. " The other way to describe the rivalry, there are I think, do not quote me on this part, is that only purebloods get into Slytherin and Gryffindor will take pure bloods, half-muggled and muggles" He finished explaining to Eris. " One last thing to remember that Draco called Hermoine a "filthy mudblood" and Harry, Ron, herself, no one liked what Draco said about her" Willaim finihed.
"Ya she was really smart." Desiree laughed "Both my parents were Slytherin so they were pretty surprised when she was sorted into Ravenclaw." Relieved at the change of subject she said "Oh that's interesting, I'd actually really like to work at the ministry one day." or at least she thought she did, she was only eleven after all.
Desiree was extremely stuffed, she pushed her plate away not wanting to take another bite. "I'm so full, I can't believe I ate all of that!" She took one last sip of pumpkin juice and looked around, some people were already leaving the great hall. Desiree was eager to see the rest of the castle, her common room especially. "I think I'm going to head up to the common room, or should I say down, it's in the dungeons right?" hopefully she didn't get lost.. "It was great meeting you Raven, I'll see you around." She said smiling. She would probably see her in the common room that night anyway
"I mean, my mom came from Russia, but I never live there, because most of her family moved to Scotland. Sounds really good, you've ever spend your childhood abroad." Raven seemed a little bit envy with Geraldine.
"Hahaha, just enjoy your food. I'm so sleepy and tired because I got insomniac at the night before I had a looong journey with the train." She took of her glasses, rubbed her eyes and wore her glasses again.
I wanna reach my bed soon!
“Oh,you do look a bit sleepy, but it'll be a bit longer until we go to the common rooms.” Geraldine told Raven, Geraldine too was a bit tired from the long train ride.
“Do you think we'll meet a lot of other slytherins? It would be fun if we know a lot of people.” Geraldine added with a smile.
Geraldine was now eye-ing a basket full of sumptuous chocolates...she loves chocolates a lot. Geraldine already ate a lot that she thought she'll get fat,but she didnt care,it wasnt everyday that there was a feast.
And she was proven right AGAIN!! Destiny just could not help herself could she? She just loved to talk. Or maybe it was Mia's charming personality that made the Slytherin want to keep talking to her. Hehe...
"You thought -" Mia burst out laughing again. That image was going to stay in her mind for a long time. She could just imagine the girl trying to dig a bug out of her nose with her finger. "I hope you used a tissue."
The giggles quickly subsided when Destiny turned away from her. "Aww don't be like that D. I was just teasing you. Would you like to hear one of my gross stories?"

"See you in common room!" said Raven.

Raven took her cup and drank some juice, and said. "We will meet them in common room." She also feel so full. Raven never had so much eating just like this.

She had a few.
Staaaare.
Destiny did not know what was so funny. Having a bug up one's nose should be a scary thought. Thinking that whatever bug was up there would move up to her brain, lay eggs there, have those eggs hatch, and then have her head house a whole colony of bugs.. Mia should not be laughing about that kind of stuff.
The comment about using a tissue finally got her to blink and.. what did she need a tissue for? Really! "I only thought I had a bug up there. There was no need for a tissue."
If she would have known turning away from her friend would have gotten her to stop laughing, Destiny would have done it sooner. Like, when she first made her way over to the table. Spooning a few more spoons of potatoes into her mouth, she slowly began turning back to Mia. If she laughed one more time.. "They're not going to be too gross are they?"
She was eating, and the last thing she wanted was to lose her appetite because Mia wanted to talk about her boyfriend. Bwaha!

Geraldine was already so full that she couldnt eat a single bite. Now, she was feeling a bit drowsy, she wanted to sleep so badly on her soft bed. Geraldine looked around and noticed that the others were already going to their common rooms, and decided that she too should go and have a good night's sleep.
She drank her cup of juice and turned to face Raven..“I think I'll sleep early tonight, are you going to the common room now,or later?” Geraldine asked Raven. “I think I'll go ahead, I'm too sleepy, see you tomorrow, and it was a pleasure to meet you Raven” Geraldine added with a smile, then she stood up then walked towards the door.

"I think I'm gonna leave this table too." said her. Then she followed Geraldine to go to Slytherin common room.
“I’m almost sure that Jonathan will end up in Quidditch. Tell him to join. He just might be what we need to win this year’s Quidditch Cup.” he nodded and murmured, “Scourgify”. Now that his utensils, plate and goblet are clean he turned to see if the Sorting is over and saw instead house-elves up the Staff table. “Kitchen issues?” Just like any other growing boy, he can’t wait for the food to appear, get stuffed, take a nice warm shower and sleep.
Aurora sat down with Mordred. "No, I still don't like them really. They're just for convenience." she insisted. It was true, she disliked wearing Muggle Clothes rather a lot. Robes were just so much more... comfortable!
"Well, I'm just saying, if they do..." She glanced up to the staff table. Lots of new faces, but all the seats were filled and there weren't more than usual which meant the dance teacher was just a regular professor. Aurora joined Mordred in producing her wand, "This is disgusting." She pointed her willow wand at her cutlery, plate and goblet, muttering "Excolo." until they were clean.
Aurora frowned, "Mordred, does it amuse you when I'm irritated? Because it shouldn't. Especially when you know what I have in my trunk this very moment." she said. Empty threat? Maybe, well, probably. There was a very low chance she'd ever do anything that drastic to Mordred. But who knew, maybe he'd really annoy her at some point.
"I doubt he will actually, he seemed pretty set against Aaron when he spoke about him, so I'm assuming he isn't similar at all." Aurora pondered, shrugging. "Anyway, not my problem. This, however," she gestured to the table that had just become covered in food, "is!" She began to fill her newly clean plate with food, wanting to just fill herself up and get to bed. Fainting really knocked it out of you (no pun intended) and she'd fainted pretty badly on the train. She deserved to be full and well rested.
Eris raised an eyebrow with a small smile, didn't look like a boy?, the small witch would be lying if said she didn't like being told she looked like a girl. As that is what she is, Eris had just long grown used to people addressing her as the latter by mistake.
Her eyes widened before contracting in confusion as she tried to keep up with all the names. This boy sounded so assured of everything and all the details; their History class seemed like it sure did a good job.
"Wooooah, slow down." the dark haired witch laughed. "So all this revolves around a boy named Harry, a person named Tom Riddle, and the blood of people?" Eris restated using all the powers of listening and comprehending she could muster. "Yeah, I heard the blood thing a few times today...but...I don't really understand it. From what I understand...I'm a pureblood...but...I don't mind someone who has muggle blood...." Eris added slowly, eyes flickering to William's for an understanding.
