Mikey looked round at Maria and half-smiled. Nothing was wrong, it was just his trademark and nothing was gonna change that. EVER. He moved his body so he was facing her and smiled more. "Hey, missy" he replied cheerfully. Which was odd considering he was usually in a relatively bad mood when it came to the holiday's being over. But this time he was happy. He had something to look forward to. Seeing Maria.

When Lua entered the salon, she was mesmerized by it's greatness. It's beautiful. She thought. I can't believe I'm going to stay here! It's like a dream. I need to write to mom, she continued excited.

Quickly looking around the Slytherin table, she found an empty seat near the end of the table. She quietly sat and started eating.

"Hohoho.. You're right. I also don't wanna be forced by my parents which house that I belong to. But fortunately, my father doesn't do that. He just said that which house that I belong to, just do the best for your house and Hogwarts." she explained to her.

Raven smiled to Desiree, what a nice girl. She though. Just a moment in Slytherin house table, she got many friends here

"Your name is also nice I think, Desiree "


"Flying! Unfortunately we can't join for quidditch in our first year. Maybe charms and transfiguration sounds brilliant too. My brother had taught me some simple charms." said Raven



Suddenly Raven saw a girl that she had known before. Is that the girl who sat in same compartment as me? Then Raven tried to called her name.


"Lua!"

SLYTHERIN?!?!

But.. But.. Her big brothers, they had been in Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. They BELONGED there but.. She was a SLYTHERIN?! They said that was the evil house didn't they? That they were the bullies of Hogwarts and Gwenyth, now she definitely wasn't a bully. At least she thought she wasn't.

The young brunette glared at the sorting hat as she made her way over to the Slytherin table, scanning her eyes over the students and taking a big gulp. Did she really belong here? Half of the students looked absolutely terrifying and the others, some of them looked as terrified as she was. She thought, as best as she could, what exactly the sorting hat could have picked up about her to place her into this house. She didn't want to be a Slytherin, she wanted a warm and cosy Common Room up in the towers where she could spend the evenings reading, or writing letters back to her parents and younger brothers not a Common Room down under the Lake where it was sure to be damp and dark.

Wide eyed as she sat down in a seat a safe distance away from anyone else, she allowed her eyes to drift over to the other tables. She grew up in a Hippy Commune for goodness sake, if what she believed in, the morals of love and that everyone was equal and so on, she'd really belong in Hufflepuff. The third year sighed as she placed her elbow on the table and rested her chin into her hand.

Katrina was startled. A Gryffindor wanted to be her friend. Well, I guess she could befriend a few.
"Hey. I'm Katrina, Katrina Hudson," she said. "I'm a First Year snake."
Katrina managed a small smile.

Maria smiled a little at Mikey. Heyy~" she said, her Italian accent strengthening.

Aurora made a b-line for the Slytherin table, scanning it for new faces but noticing the absent ones even more. She dropped into a seat and looked around for Mordred. Where is that boy she thought as she looked up and down the table. It was then that she noticed the silverware. it was... wrong. All askew and tarnished... What was going on with the House Elves? This was... just ridiculous, they should really try and fix that. The thought lingered in her mind for a few moments before it was pushed out by all the new green uniforms. So. Many. First Years. It seemed like they were all coming to Slytherin! But she supposed the other houses probably felt the same...

She noticed Professor Lafay... were people acting up already? Lafay did not look happy. Aurora nodded at her respectfully, smiling. She might be needing some help from Lafay this term...

She sighed and sat quietly (I know, a miracle) waiting for someone she knew...

Marie walked into the Great Hall for her LAST start of term feast. The LAST one. That in itself was depressing. She wasn't ready for this to be her last year at Hogwarts. She hadn't even started to think about what it was she wanted to do with her life after graduation. She still wasn't thinking about that, right now all she was thinking about was finding her friends... who she hadn't seem all summer. So, here she was walking over to her own house table only to see...

Really people... just really?

The feast hadn't even started yet and there was Lafay not looking happy, and she just had to be there where her friends and... oh great, cousin 'It' were sitting. Well this was NOT how she had planned for her last opening feast. She was NOT going to be a part of all that drama which meant she wouldn't be talking to her friends just yet. No, she would just go sit...

At the HUfflepuff table with Mia. So changing directions she went over to the 'Puff table. She was sure there wouldn't be any drama over there.

Theo was confused.

There was a hat..no, no, a TALKING hat, and it was calling out names of...'houses' or something weird. Since when did hat's talk ? Since never. Hats couldnt talk, Theo should know. He had a whoooole collection of hats, not a hat like that one 'cos it looks kinda weird but nonetheless none of his hats could talk. But it had put him into the Slytherin House. He had no idea what that meant but he presumed because he was cool, being in this Slytherin house thing was cool.

Maybe it wasn't.

No, no. It had to be. He was sure of it. The kids didn't look that bad, well most of them didn't. A few of them looked like people to avoid, some of them looked like they were about to cry or something. Probably home sickness Theo presumed, or maybe nerves ? He wasn't sure and he didn't care enough to stop and ask them. Hopefully someone would like point out to him soon what this whole Slytherin house thing meant. He knew it meant he was gonna be in a common room in the dungeons, he liked the sound of that. It sounded dangerous, and he couldnt wait til Christmas so he could go home and tell his friends just how dangerous he had been sleeping under there. Then again he probably wasn't allowed to tell them...He'd be able to rub it in Reena's face anyway although she was a girl, and a very annoying girl at that, so she probably didnt want to be dangerous and sleep in the dungeons.

He looked around the table, trying to find somewhere to sit. Everyone seemed to be sat with their friends so he didnt wanna go and intrude then he spotted a girl, a rather pretty looking girl sat a bit of a distance away from everyone else so he decided to go over. It was as he got closer to the girl he realised it was Gwen, the same girl he'd knocked over in Diagon Alley. Atleast it was someone he knew, right ?"Um hi." he began, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "Mind if i sit with you?"

'Nice to meet you Katrina! Um. Before we sort of try to be friends, I want to know if me being a Mudblood is going to make you not like me...' Rose smiled weakly. Most Slytherins had rejected her because of this fact, all except Mordred...

It should probably be over soon..." Sarah pondered, smiling at her friend. "And I agree with you it's been AGES since I've eaten!"

Sarah laughed, "That's a nice nickname. Sorry, but not much can come from Sarah other than Sarah."

How dare she says she's a Mudblood?
"Not at all," Katrina said. "I have a muggle-born bestfriend back at home... and you shouldn't all yourself a mudblood."

Maybe she should just hide under the table, or wander over to the Gryffindor table like Dylan had been in. Although she definitely wasn't brave. Maybe she'd be happier in Ravenclaw like Jude? She enjoyed reading some of the books he'd passed down to her but she didn't feel like reading every day, nor did she think herself to be particularly clever. Bright maybe, she certainly wasn't dumb but not the high intelligence levels that Ravenclaw seemed to harvest.

But then came a voice and the now Slytherin glanced up behind her to see whom it was. It sounded vaguely familiar, someone she'd spoken to before and to be honest, there were very little people whom she had met in Diagon Alley, two to be exact. One whom was very intimidating, at least to the thirteen year old he was and the other? Well it was this guy.

"N-no. Of course you can sit down" she smiled weakly as she spoke glancing down at the spot next to her. "It's Teddy isn't it?" she asked, smirking slightly remembering the nickname she had given him, real name Theodore but as she could remember, she wasn't allowed to call him that. At least she knew of him, though he had tripped her up in the cobbled streets but he could be forgiven for that. It was a particularly busy day and the crowds seemed to be moving like a swarm of bees, together and in big groups. The small brunette would have easily been lost in there.

Mikey took hold of Maria's hand. "You got anything planned for this term" he asked.

Rose sighed with relief. 'Why shouldn't I call myself a Mudblood? People make me aware of it all the time, it's just stuck! Mudblood and proud, there's nothing wrong with the word.' Rose said firmly. Katrina had had the same reaction as others, but Rose's friends were already used to her calling herself a Mudblood. She was proud to be different, whenver someone called her a Mudblood she thanked them, not got into a massive row! 'A Mudblood is an amazing thing to be, it means we defied the Wizarding world. My twin sisters, who are also in Hogwarts, agree with me!' Rose chuckled

Weird, Katrina thought of Rose. But she's gonna have to get used to her Mudblood thing.
"I didn't know you had twin sisters," Katrina said.

'I do. Lilly's in Gryffindor, Violet's in Hufflepuff, Violet is upset about not being with Lilly, but they're OK now, I've comforted her...' Rose smiled as she remembered Violet had been sobbing to her. She vowed to show her eveything could be OK.

Angelina watched as the girl walked over to the Slytherin table and sat down with wide eyes, and put her elbow on the table to rest her head. Angelina could tell she was probably terrified, as well as she was her self. The girl was many seats away, but Angelina turned to her and said loudly with a small smile, "Hi, I'm Angelina."

He really needed some friends, he couldn't be walkign around like a loner that was totally not Theo style. And he was gonna need help with homework, the muggle school back in London that he'd previously attended wasn't exactly a good one and Theo hadn't used to pay attention so it was pretty safe to say that the boy wasn't very intelligent. Not even smart actually, he was definitely going to need some help. He looked around the hall, there were plenty of kids here. He was hoping he could make friends with some of them. He'd met a few people in Diagon Alley but after tripping over that pretty girl she probably wouldnt want to be friends with him.

He looked down at his feet as he waited for a reply, hopefully she didn't still hate him for tripping her up. Ugh. That would suck. Hopefully she didnt turn around and like..slap him or something, saying no to his question would've been bad enough, being slapped infront of the entire population of Hogwarts would've been even worse. Terrible to be exact.

He sighed a little sigh of relief as she said yes, he was glad she'd said yes. Well technically she'd said no but she'd told him he could sit down by her. "Mmm...Fanks.." he muttered, sitting down next to her leaving a distance between them just so it wasn't awkward or anything, yep. Sitting too close might not be a good thing, he might like spill something on her and then she'd hate him again D: He didn't really want that to happen. "..Yeah..." he said, looking up to her a small smile showing on his face, atleast she'd remembered his name. "Gwen, right ?" He asked, y'know just incase he'd got it wrong. He didn't wanna call her by the wrong name 'cos then she might get offended. "So..Slytherin..." hopefully that would trail into her telling him stuff she knew about it, 'cos he didnt know a lot.

When walking through the familiar doors of the Great Hall, Daichi felt a boost of happiness. He was finally back! woohoo~~! He looked around at the little firsties being sorted before he dragged his feet towards his own house table.

His headache was still there but it was much less than before after Kimalia gave him the chocolate on the train. He smiled and then he looked over to the staff table. Daichi felt a bit weird that they had a new Charms professor but the woman had seemed nice on the train.. maybe it wasn't so bad. The second year was about to sit down when their Head of house came walking to the table. Angry and...not in a good mood.

"What's going on?" he asked the girl as he sat next to her and frowned.

Aurora had been toying with her cutlery (was that a bit of old food..?) and straightening it up when someone sat down beside her. "Oh, Hello." she said as the boy addressed her. "What do you mean 'What's going on'..?" she followed his gaze to Lafay. "Oh, that. I don't really know... Something about throwing gum at eachother maybe? I haven't really been watching." she shrugged. "It's probably nothing. I'm Aurora by the way." she added, glancing up at the staff table... Oooh, so many new teachers... interesting.

Aurora caught sight of a girl, about her age, looking a little put out. She sat down next to her. "Hello, you alright?" she asked. She had no idea why she was being nice... maybe it was just the fact she was back at Hogwarts, maybe it was the relief that she didn't have to spend more time at home, or maybe, just maybe, she was becoming a better person...

Nah...

She pushed the though out of her mind and smiled. "I don't think I've seen you around, are you new here?" she asked the girl, tucking a long curl of red hair behind her ear.

Fee sat down at a free seat and sighed.Whyyy were all the dishes soo dirty?There wasnt one house table that had clean ones.The blonde was hungry but she wouldnt eat from these plates.Nooot in a hundred years.They were disgusting.Maybe she could pack some into a napkin and take it to the dorms?! Was that allowed?

Blowing a strand of her hair from her forehead the Slytherin looked around.None of the students seemed to be pretty happy,what was highly understandable.The atricle of the prophet seemed to be right.There was chaos at Hogwarts.A huge and disgusting one. Meeh.

Nearby Angelina saw a girl skip over to the table and sit down alone. Since she guessed this would be one of her own new housemates Angelina leaned fowards a little and loud and proud, "Hi, I'm Angelina and I'm new here as well."

They were just CONTINUING to eat on the nasty plates...and eating with disgusting silverware. For example, this girl sitting two seats down. Finally having enough of this, she stood and looked down at the poor, unsuspecting girl.

"Please...PLEASE stop. Let me clean it for you..." Marilyn could NOT sit there another minute with all this nasty surrounding her. What had that spell been...She'd heard it from a professor...Excolo! That's right. Sighing, she waved her wand at the small girls set up. Within seconds, it began to shine as the tarnished surface ate away.

"Whatever it is you're eating will taste MUCH BETTER, I assure you!" It was said with some attitude...but Marilyn had reached her limit. The smells were everywhere...and vomiting did not sound like something she wanted to participate in at the moment.

Someone had just sat down across from her and Marilyn was oblivious until she sat back down herself. Looking up, she seen another blonde...who looked utterly disgusted with what was laid out.

"Excolo works...That's what the Professors are using, anyway..."

"Throwing gum at each other?" He asked as he eyed the scene. "Well, that's disgusting....O_o" He shifted a bit better on his seat and grabbed the pumpkin juice , ready to pour it in a goblet when he saw the state of the goblets. And not just the goblets . The plates , knifes forks EVERYTHING was tarnished. What the? "I don't know what's more disgusting this or the gum... " Daichi was NOT going to eat food from these plates nuhuh.

"I'm Daichi, nice to meet you" he followed her gaze to the staff table. "It's weird all these new Professors..." he said. "I met the Charms and Astronomy professors on the train. Professor Schiffm...no Schilwer...no thats not either.. Schoeffel! ..yeah i think that's right.. is the Charms one" He pointed at the new woman. " And the other i forgot because he wasn't saying much" he sighed.
