She thought about this for a second. Remembering the opening feast their head of house already yelling at a few students. "I kind if like her I mean i respect her but that is true you never know what to expect. I just know I don't want to get on her bad side" she said. That was the last thing she wanted to happen. She had already seen their head of house mad. And it wasn't a good sight.

"That's for sure!" Violet agreed. "Especially since she's Head of Slytherin--if she got mad at you, there'd be no where to get away!" Violet paused a minute to contemplate the awfulness of that.

"Hey, have you spent much time in the dungeon corridor lately? Did you see that crazy list of rules that was posted? What's that all about?! I can't tell if it's a joke or for real." Violet remembered how foolish she had felt shouting and wearing bright green gloves, but she had been afraid to risk losing Slytherin any more points by not obeying.

"I know then she would have it out for you the whole year! I defiantly don't want to give her a wrong impression. Truthfully she kind of scares me..." she mentioned laughing.

"No I really haven't been in the Dungeons long enough to notice much I basically just come straight here or Potions class" she said. This made her curious a list of rules? She hadn't noticed that. But the only time she really does spend time in the Dungeons is in the Common Room. "What were the list of rules exactly so I know. I don't want to loose anymore house points!" she exclaimed. Still unbelievable how many points they had managed to loose all together this year...

"I know, we earn enough points to win the House Cup three times over, but then we lose nearly all of them by acting up. Why can't Slytherins behave?!

Oh, anyway, the rules--they were really wild--Students must yell when they're going through the dungeons, so people'll know you're coming, you have to wear gloves, in your House colours--and the gloves were all neon and really awful looking!" Violet replied, getting excited at the memory of it. "Oh, and the last one--All students must have a good day. I mean--seriously!! How can they make you have a good day? How is a person even supposed to be able to control something like that?! Oh, and the weirdest part--the notice kept referring to 'unexpected events' and 'unfortunate incidents' for why we were supposed to do all that. Something must have happened somewhere, but I don't know what." Yet. But Violet intended to find out.

"I wasn't sure if they were real rules or what, but I was afraid to lose us any more points, so--well, I felt like a fool, but I went ahead and put on the stupid, neon, lime-green gloves and talked at the top of my voice--fortunately, I have no trouble talking loudly." In fact, Violet realized she was talking rather loudly right now, as she often did when excited. "Actually, it worked out rather well--I went ahead and transfigured my hair lime-green to match the gloves, so I got in a little more Transfiguration practice. A Slytherin should always take advantage of an opportunity, after all."

She thought about this for a minute "I don't know...but their just giving the rest of us a bad reputation!"

Were these rules actually serious?! "Your kidding right? That is very odd why would I yell when I enter the Dungeons?" she paused while looking at the gloves Violet had "And I'm curious also to what the point of the gloves are..." she took another pause "Your right theres no way a person can have complete control about their mood. Something may have happened to cause a bad day I mean everyone has them...theres no controlling it. I'm very curious about this...hmmm unfortunate incidents this is kind of odd"

"Good excuse for some Transfiguration practice! Your right about that I think our house could be showing a bit more house pride. Don't you think?" she asked. Most of the Slytherins didn't show much pride. Maybe it was time to actually get use of her house wand.

"I know, and Slytherin already has enough trouble with our reputation as it is!"

"I know, me, too. It mentioned something about the gloves being necessary due to an 'unfortunately incident' in the potions laboratory...but I don't see what that has to do with wearing gloves. I felt stupid doing it, but there were other students--older ones--doing it, too, so I figured I'd better...though they might have just been having a lark with me. Anyway, the notice is still out there, I think, you can read it if you're curious."



"True...especially if that meant not losing points for no good reason. I think I will keep my hair like this, till the end of the day, at least. Professor Magnus did say we could say it's for Transfiguration homework if anyone asks." Violet twirled a strand of her green-tipped hair between her fingers.

She looked at Violets hair "Well it looks good actually. Unlike when I tried it on my hair first it was pink then Scott tried helping me with it and he turned it dark blue...but I still can't get it to work with exactly what color I want" she said truthfully it was fusturating. She took out her wand and decided to try it once more.

"Ristaris"

It finally worked! Her hair was now a platinum blonde color. "I think I'll keep it like this for awhile to shock people" she laughed. Well at least this time it was the color she was thinking about.

"When can you become an animagus?" Zhenya asked, she had never spoken to people about this and therefore didn't know.

Raven closed the book and continued talk to Zhenya.

"Professor Magnus said that she didn't want to teach students become animagus below fifth year. So.. maybe I can start it when I will reach fifth or sixth year maybe?" said Raven. She felt bored at the dorm, she wanted to reach the lake.


"Hey, do you feel bored? I wanna spend my time in Lake, wanna join?" asked her.

"Sure thing," said Zhenya. She loved the lake!

She jumped off her bed and ran through the door...

"Well, you know what they say," Violet laughed. "Blondes have more fun!" Though personally she thought Chelsea was already having fun--a First Year, and already a boyfriend!

Chelsea walked through the doors of the girls dormitory. After going to see Scott for a minute her eyes were red and puffy. "I guess..." she said sadly when she returned and answered Violet. But she decided she was keeping the blonde. It was a well needed change.

Neko sat on her bed, homesick already. She didn't know who she missed more, Aunt Kyoko, or Ren-chan. She sighed and began to reply to the letter Kyoko-obasan had sent her.



Neko smiled and set the letter aside so she could read a bit of manga, and she began digging through her bag for a book.

Making her way into the dorms after a very interesting afternoon with Jonathan, Lorelai shook her hair slightly which was dripping wet after falling into the pond. Grr. As much as she admired Jonathan, she hated that they'd fell into the pond. However fun it was. O forget it. She didn't care about falling in the pond. She had fallen in with Jonathan. And she was mad for him. But that kiss was AMAZING.

She made her way over to her bed, her wavy, blonde hair leaving droplets of water behind with every step. Finally at her bed, she summoned a towel from her trunk and dried her hair gently making sure not to let anymore water drip everywhere. And now she needed to put some dry clothes on. She dug in her trunk for her tracksuit and changed into it. Was it her or was it cold in there today? Maybe it had something to do with her being dripping wet. But she had fun so she didn't care. She looked up when........there was a new girl. Maria had left so she'd lost her 'best friend' though at that moment, Jonathan seemed to be her best friend.

Lorelai shrugged it off and laid on her stomach on her bed with her head at the foot of the bed. She leant over and took a book out of her bag and began reading the compelling true story.

But then she got bored of that so she put it on the bedside table and turned over onto her back, her mirror in hand. Maybe she should fix her make-up before she was accused of looking like a panda. As funny as that would be, her beauty was her best trait and the only one that seemed to get anyone's attention. That was why Jonathan and Jasper both liked her. They'd both thought she was cute. Therefor, being cute had something to do with one's beauty. And she had to keep her reputation for it.

Neko looked up at the girl beside her. She marked her page in the manga and tossed it aside. "H-hi. I'm Neko..." she introduced herself quietly. But then she noticed the girl was fixing her make-up. Neko suddenly thought that the girl might not like her. Ah well.

Lorelai's eyes wondered to the girl speaking to her. And she had Maria's bed. That was her best friend's bed. O wells. "I'm Lorelai" she replied sitting up and digging in her bag for her make-up. Not that she actually needed it. So she decided to just throw the make-up wipes in her bag with her mirror and leave the make-up. But her hair was a MESS. So she had to brush it. She couldn't leave it to frizz.

Neko smiled nervously and tucked a black lock of hair behind her ear, her black eyes curious. "Pleasure to meet you" she said, that instinct to be extremely formal and polite around strangers kicking in.

"What's the matter? said Violet, looking up from her Transfiguration notebook, in which she had been making some notes on her recent practice. "Don't you like your new hair? You can always change it back, you know."

She sobbed a little "No i love my new hair, thats not it" she said. She really had taken a liking to the blonde.

"Scott broke up with me..." she replied sobbing. It had been hours ago it happened but she still couldn't believe it happened.

Lorelai smiled slightly and put her brush back in her bag instinctively. "Nice to meet you too" she replied. In a weird kind of way. Lori wasn't sure she'd befriend this one. But she couldn't be mean and ignore her either.

Neko smiled, becoming a bit more confident. "This might sound odd, but what can you tell me about the school?" she asked. Hopefully she could tell her something.

Lorelai looked at Neko and sat up properly crossing her legs on the bed and leaning forward slightly. "Well, the waterfall is the most romantic place EVER. The school has a fair few good looking boys. One being Jonathan. Who I'm sure you'll meet at some point. And as for the professors, they're easily annoyed" she replied. Not that she'd ever annoyed the professors. She was always too busy with other things.

Neko listened intently, and smiled. "Jonathan? Is that your boyfriend?" she asked, giggling. "So Maria told me" she said, smiling. "She told me to say hi" she said, realizing this must be the Lorelai Mari-chan had meant.

Lorelai nodded. OF COURSE HE WAS. And he was AMAZING!! "Yes, he is" she replied sounding smitten when she answered. Was it obvious she really liked him? It seemed that way. But at least she was making it known. "I think you'll find your time here pleasent. Providing you mix with the right people and don't go mouthing off too much" she explained. Not wanting to put her off, like. Or was she?

Neko smiled a little. She wouldn't say what she wanted. That she never really trusted guys. Her Aunt and her friends had been hurt too much, and she had her own experiences.

"Mouthing off? That's me. Always has been" she said.
