Chelsea remembered that night so clear. After all it was an important night for her. She was scared Scott didn't feel the same but she found out he did. And now he makes her extremely happy! But Scott was really the first boy she ever attempted really talking to. Oliver didn't count he was a family friend who's like her big brother.

"Trust me I was so scared after I said that! I thought he didn't feel the same until he said I was beautiful. But as for just talking to people its not that hard for me to do. I was raised going to big social outings and parties" she said. Which she always hated going to. But she still was nervous meeting new people sometimes.

"I like it, keep it that way. After all it just looks like you have some serious house pride!" she smiled and laughed.

"I was actually just thinking about that.." she laughed and shot a glance at her egg the one secretly named indigo that would be pretty amazing if it turned out to be a real bird.

Raven wanted to be an animagus! "Oh wow, that's really cool my uncle's an animagus, he can turn into a fish.." she laughed at the memory, why he chose that of all things she will never know "What kind of animal do you want to be?" it felt weird asking that, it was pretty advanced stuff, but she guessed that's why the book said early learners.

"Oh, that's cool. My parents never told me where they worked. Weird, huh? Beauxbatons in a good school, but I like Hogwarts much better." Kaiya finally replied.

Raven took a sugar quill, and enjoyed it. "So, there will be a silver bird born? Hahahahaha! So wicked!" said her. She opened the book and started to read it.

"Your uncle is an animagus? Cool! But I think it will be hard because fish can't live without water, right? Usually, people become an animagus transform to simple and common animal. My brother is also an animagus, he transforms to be an eagle." explained Raven. Her brother, Adler had explained it to her when she asked him about animagi.

"I also want to be an animagus. But I don't know what will I be? Maybe a Raven, as same as my name? " she giggled

"Well, Raven - you would make a good Raven!" Zhenya said, joining in on the conversation.

"I don't think I would feel safe becoming an animagus.. I don't know why, I would be very scared of being inside a different body, even if it were still technically mine."

Raven giggled when she heard Zhenya's statement. "Well, maybe it could be like that. Raven becomes a raven." She continued read the book on page about the definition of animagi.

"Hmm.. maybe that was Professor Magnus' reason why the first student wont be able to learn how to be an animagus." said her.

Violet patted her hair and smiled to herself. Then she replied, "I haven't ever had a chance to talk much with kids my own age--I live practically alone in the family townhouse with my governess and some other servants. I only see my grandfather and two uncles every once in a while, which is fine with me, since we all don't really like each other that much. My mother went abroad with my father when I was really little and I hardly remember her, though I do get a letter every now and then. If it weren't for my father's brother..."...her Muggle uncle..."I would hardly get out at all. And I'm not really supposed to be talking with him, so I have to sneak out to do it. Fortunately,"Violet went on matter-of-fact pride, "I'm pretty good at sneaking!"

"I haven't really talked with kids my own age either. Except a family friend Oliver who's like my big brother, he goes to Durmstrang. As for family my aunt quit being a healer to take care of me after I stopped living with my parents. My uncle is on the board of Hogwarts Governors so he works long hours at the Ministry. I'm also an only child and no one lives around my aunt and uncles manor" she said. Thats why she loved Hogwarts so much she got to be around people her own age.

Being a curious person and all she had to ask "Why aren't you allowed to talk with your uncle?" She then laughed at Violets next statement "Well sneaking always does come useful for something"

Wow, Chelsea was certainly better at talking to people than Violet was; she would never have guessed that the other girl was an only child raised alone, too. But maybe it was different being raised by an aunt instead of a governess.

As for the next question...well, lots of people at Hogwarts, even in Slytherin, didn't seem to mind so much. Anyway, Violet would never make friends if she kept everything to herself, so...

"My uncle on my father's side is a Muggle, and my mother's family is really snobby about that. That's why my parents went abroad--they pretty much disowned my mother for getting married to my father, and my grandfather bothered her so much that they finally had to go abroad to get away from them. I guess they couldn't take me with them, I was so young..." Actually, Violet had never had a satisfactory explanation for why she wasn't living abroad with her parents instead of being raised by her mother's family, and it kind of bothered her. But she would find out the truth about it, eventually (she always did).

"Anyway, my Muggle uncle started hanging around the neighborhood a few years ago, I guess when he heard he had a niece living there or something, and he wound up making contact with me one day, and now I sneak out and visit with him every once in a while. He's really wild, he hangs out in all kinds of cool places in London. He's a computer graphic artist, or something." (Violet had never been quite sure exactly what her uncle did, but she knew it had something to do with art).

Wow Violet had been through a lot she realized. "Yeah I stopped living with my parents because of something that happened. I'm happy I was raised by my aunt and uncle though. Or I would probably be like my parents which wouldn't be a good thing" she said. She loathed her parents her aunt and uncle basically were her parents. They practically raised her after all.

"As for blood purity I don't think it matters. Most of my friends are muggle born actually and Scott is mixed so it doesn't matter to me. Thats horrible that you can't see your uncle. At least you get to see him even if it does mean sneaking out. But I know what its like to be around that. My parents only liked other pure-bloods I actually got a letter from them last month and they said I was a disappointment because most of my friends are muggle born. And because I don't really talk to a lot of pure bloods" she said and she shrugged it off. She really didn't care what her parents though she would rather be a disappointment than arrogant.

Hmm, maybe all Slytherins didn't care about blood status, after all, despite what her grandfather and uncles said--anyway, they had gone to Hogwarts decades ago, at least, so things had probably changed.

"I like sneaking out to see my uncle, anyway--it makes it more fun! And I like talking to him, because he has a lot of interesting ideas and knows interesting people. My mother's family--I have two uncles and a grandfather--they're paying to raise me, for some reason--but they're always trying to make me feel crummy because I'm a half-blood. Well, my younger uncle, Howard, isn't quite so bad, but he's afraid to go against the other two. I don't really believe them, but it still makes me feel bad sometimes. It also makes me want to excel in school so I can show them they're wrong. They told me that Slytherin was the best house, but that I'd never get sorted into it--but they were wrong!"

She could see that it bothered Violet quite a bit to live with her mothers family. Can't blame her though it sounds horrible.

"Thats good! I like talking to muggles. I'm kind of interested in the muggle world its fascinating! And thats just wrong just because your a half-blood doesn't make you less of a witch. Your probably just as smart as a pureblood" she smiled. This is what bothered her the most...arrogant pureblood...their not better than anyone else!

"Don't let it get to you. I'm sure you will excel in school! And as for Slytherin being the best house I believe it is. We're just as smart as ravenclaw, just as loyal as hufflepuff, and just as brave as gryffindors! We have the perks of having every house trait the thing that separates us from them is our ambition!" she smiled. She loved Slytherin. At first she had hoped to be in Ravenclaw like her aunt but now she can't see her self in another house. She never was one for showing a large amount of house pride with her boyfriend being a ravenclaw because it was important to support him too!

Speaking of Scott she hasn't seen him in a few days. Her face dropped a bit, she really missed him.

"You bet it is!" exclaimed Violet. She was having fun talking to Chelsea--maybe it was important to do things other than study at school.

"Sure lets go." Elizabeth smiles.

Maddy slid the Toadstool slime off her wand and into the jar. No, she was too sensible to pull a prank on someone with it, with no reason to. So yes, she'd save it for her favorite class, potions. She clicked the lid back onto the jar and walked down to potions class, hoping to find somewhere to store it. Maybe professer Bently would let her keep it in the Green House. She'd go there instead. Mady left the dorm smelling very strongly of peppermint.

"I can't believe its already November! This is all going by so fast. Honestly I don't want summer to come because I really like it here. Back at home is so boring" she told Violet. The main truth why she didn't wanna leave was because of Scott...and her friends.

"Yup my one and only great-grandfather... Oh, no Alexandria is one of my first names.. My middle name is Black.." she replied.

hmm.. there are a lots of choices..

"I have a lot of alias, Adria, Cyress, Vhie, or Xandria.. which ever you like.."

"Is that because Scott isn't there?" Violet smirked at her. She was not at all sure that she personally was ready to take on boys as more than just mates, but it was sure fun teasing her girlfriends about them!

Chelsea smiled and laughed "Maybe...I will miss him terribly though when summer comes around" she was happy Violet wasn't judgmental about it. Like some of Scotts first year Ravenclaw friends were... "But I really will miss all my friends too" she smiled.

"I know what you mean. It's so much more interesting taking lessons with other students around. I mean, I really do like Miss Howard and all--she's supposed to answer to my grandfather and uncles, but I think she really focuses on what's best for me--but it's just not the same studying when you're the only student in class." And at the dinner table. And in the garden. And in the bedroom...

"I know what you mean. I was always bored when my aunt taught me a few lessons. It was also nice getting to know more people my age" she said. She loved it here she was happy she never went to beauxbatons.

"Well thats good that she focuses on whats best for you. But yeah it defiantly isn't the same studying alone"

"Say, what do you think of our Head of House?" Violet asked. "She seems pretty scary at times, but I kind of like her--fortunately I haven't had a run-in with her yet. But she's kind of...exciting, in a way, to never know what to expect."
