Gideon chuckled at her laughter and amusement in their promise to each other. It was a morbid thought...dying that is, yet they could still manage to make it less worrisome. "Canna get rid of me that easily Skylar..." he mused teasing back as he nudged her with his shoulder. "Yer stuck with me for now," he said with a smile, settling back and continuing eating.

It was nice to be able to balance fun times with school work, even if fun times meant just hanging out with each other under the stars. As he thought about them, Gideon looked up at the skyscape still visible from the angle they were seated at. "Pretty sky tonight...and thankfully clear," he mused catching sight of a random constellation he reconized. With the snow of the passing winter and the rain clouds of the upcoming spring it wasn't always a possibility.

Selina pretended to be really upset that she was stuck with him and said, "Oh no? Really? I'm stuck with you? Well that is just a real piece of unfortunate news. Whatever am I going to do with you now that I've got you?" She said smirked at him sticking her nose in his face a little. Then she trialed her eyes up to his hair and played with one of the curls hanging in his eyes.

When he looked at the sky she looked with him, "Yeah it is really pretty. I love the night sky." She pulled her legs into her chest and rested her head on her knees, "Hey... what do you think is out there?"

Gideon made a face at Selina as she teasingly complained about her apparent future with him. "Real funny there missy." With her nose in his face, he reached up with his free hand and tweaked it a little though not too roughly.

"Aye...me too," he replied in agreement and a contented sigh. "Other then the stars?" Gideon questioned in return looking down at her as she folded up, leaning her head down on her knees. The boy not sure what was the full meaning of Selina's original question and not about to just assume anything either.

She scrunched her nose when he pinched it lightly and wiggled her nose a little. Then she stuck her tongue out at him and returned her eyes back to the outside sky above. When he asked what she meant she shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know... I mean, what do you think is out there? You think people we have lost are up there somewhere looking over us?" She shivered a little from a gust of wind and sighed forgetting a moment that he was there, "I mean I can see a lot of things, but I don't know the answer to that question. I want to know, you know?"

Gideon watched as Selina shruged in answer before speaking in an attempt to try and explain what she meant by her question to which he listened carefully and tried to make his own answer to it. "Aye...perhaps," he answered with a nod leaning back once more. Seeing her shiver, he hesitantly moved his arm before finally slipping it around her back and shoulders to almost hold her.

"I understand, though I doubt anyone really knows the truth to that. One can only theorize," the boy commented as he bit his lip gently in thought. "But it would nice to know." Knowing whether or not ones loved ones were still there up in the sky almost every night and watching over you...that would be awesome. Moving portraits could only show so much comfort in their presence and that was if you happened to be lucky enough to have one around.

Selina's eyes were fixated on the stars and the sky when she felt an arm hesitantly wrap around her shoulders. She turned her head to look at Gideon who was sitting there struggling between holding her and just resting his arm there. Taking the small hint she scooted a little closer to him so he could comfortably put his hand there and then she looked back out at the skyline.

It would be nice to know. If only he knew how nice it would be to know. To know if the people who had left you were still with you. To know if they were angry at the last moments they spent with you. To know if they were okay and safe. To know that they were watching out for you and loving you as much from where they were now as they did when they were still with you. Yes, it would be nice to know, "Yeah... nice to know... thinking about it can just drive a person mad..."

Minerva went to her favorite place to be at night. She loved to look at the stars and the moon. She looked at the moon and thought about Astronomy class. She wondered if her mood was driven by the moon phases.

Harvey went upto the observatory. He saw a wonderous sight before him!!! Minnie! alone! He looked around to see if she was well and truely alone. It looked to be that way, so he went upto her "Its beautiful isnt it?" he asked not taking his eyes off her

Minerva jumped a little at the sound of another persons voice. She turned and smiled a weak smile. "Of course you would find me here." She then turned back at to the moon. "It is very pretty." Then she stood up from her leaning position. "Harvs we need to talk."

Namitha walked into the observatory.She saw two young kids there,probably first years, there.Not wanting to disturb them, she moved to a corner,gazing at the stars. Stars were always so fascinating for her. As a small kid, when people used to ask her what gift she wanted on her birthday, she used to say that the best trip would be a trip to the stars. She believed that two of the stars there, smiling at her were her parents who passed away in her third year at Hogwarts. That was what her grandma told her. Now grandma was also ill. Day and night, the only thing she prayed to god was not to take her grandma away from her. She didn't want to be alone in this world. Her best friends Laura and Bella left the school. A part of her soul went with them. since then, she was lonely, really lonely....

"Yes, I would. I have been looking for you" he said smiling weakly "I know why you want to talk to me, and before you say anything. I would request that you listen to me first" Harvey looked up at the night sky and he backed away from Minnie. "Minni... Minerva..." he took a deep breath "I am going to stay away from you for a little while, until I can compose myself enough to be worthy of your friendship and company. I have not been myself lately.... I guess I am finding this harder than I thought. Whenver I think that you and me will be able to spend some time together.. as friends I mean" he quickly added "William or Ronnie turn up and it turns into all of use spending time together. So I have turned into something I dont want to be." he walked to the railing but some distance from her and looked up at the sky, he then turned to her but looking at the ground instead of her "I am sorry, if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, then please do" he requested her and then turning back to the night sky and looking at it without saying anything else.

Minerva was shocked. She knew he was upset and well hurting, but she didn't realize it was this bad. "Well Harvey I guess umm that wasn't really what I was going to talk about. Well I guess part of it was, but not all of it." Minerva wasn't sure if she should go on now. Her heart felt that pull it did when she first watched Harvey kiss Ronnie. "I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't want to lose you as a friend. I do miss hanging out just the two of us sometimes."

Harvey looked at her immediately when she said that wasnt what she wanted to talk about "It wasnt?! Then what did you want to talk about?" he asked as he very slowly walked towards her. Harvey nodded when she said that she missed just the two of them hanging out "I dont want to lose you either, but I thought that maybe you or William were probably thinking that you wanted me to leave, that I was being a nuisance." he said getting closer to Minnie

"UMMM" Minerva didn't know which way to take the conversation now. "Well I was going to talk to you about William, but now that you brought up this conversation. Harv you really need to stop hurting Ronnie. Do you like her or did you just date her to try and use her against me?"

"Even I want to stop hurting her, but it is proving harder than I thought as I just said." Suddenly Harvey was shocked that Minnie could even think like that about him! Did she not know what type of guy he was? He would never use anyone!!! It pained him to see that Minnie even thought like that, he looked out over the grounds. How many of his other friends thought like this, he wondered. He then looked back at Minnie "Well I started dating her as I wanted someone special in my life after you, to do what we used to do." he said as he slowly continued his walk to her "But since then I have really come to care for her, not as much as I care for you, but almost as much. I am not the type of guy to use others for his own benefit, that is just wrong!" he told her. "Yes I want you back, but not at the expense of hurting or using someone....." he realised what he just said, he had again revealed that he wanted her back, well no point denying the truth.

Then he remembered she wanted to talk about William "Now what did you want to say about William? Has he hurt you emotionally?" he asked her, he wanted to know why she wanted to talk about William, with him, with Harvey.

Hearing Harvey admit he wanted her back made Minerva realize that she should not be talking about William to him, but it was to late for that so she went on. "I really didn't think you would use Ronnie, but sometimes your wording around her and your looks just started making me wonder." Minerva fidgeted a little before speaking again. "Harvey you are my best friend here. I know you don't want to hear that, because you want more, but I, I just can't give you more and for that I'm sorry. But your thoughts are important to me and well I was just wondering how you felt about William, do you like him? Plus I was hoping you could shed some light for me on why Ronnie hates him so much. I know she is friends with Rose so I understand the tension there, but he has had other girlfriends since and she I would assume has had other boyfriends, heck she really hurt Justin towards the beginning of the year. I have not heard either side of the story, but I was just wondering what she felt he did that was so bad. I don't tension between any of us, but I'm afraid there will be if Ronnie can't be around William." Minerva looked at Harvey wondering if she talked to much.

Harvey nodded "I know, I know that you cant give me more which is why I am trying to change this monster I have turned into." Harvey rushed over to her "No! Dont say sorry, as you have nothing to be sorry for! It's me that should be sorry for not accepting that you have.... William in your life." Harvey turned to look at the sky "I have started turning into the monster I used to be before I met you" he frowned hard and looked over the grounds "From the moment I met you I went from being a monster to a human just like that, and I have been soo happy with this new me. I dont want to be that monster again, because if I turn into him then I will lose everything I hold dear to me."

he then turned to Minnie "As for Ronnie and William, it may well have something to do with Rose as those two girls are the bestest of friends that I have seen. I will see if I can find out more on William and Ronnie." Harvey told her. His head was starting to hurt now, he went and sat down.

He looked up at Minnie "You know... you are always underestimating yourself. You dont realise what a great person you are. William is lucky to have you in his life, I can see that he likes you." he then looked at the observatory floor "One thing that I just realised... that I should have seen before but I didnt want to see it. But I see it now very clearly" he then looked up at her "Is the way you look at him. I dont ever remember you looking at me that way, that is why you have nothing to be sorry for, it has always been me pushing you to do things you never wanted to do."

he gave a small smile "Which is why I was looking for you today, to apologise for the stupid, dumb monster I was becoming. Requesting you to forgive me for that stupidity" he said looking at her, as he looked at her he realised how hurt she might have been from his stupidity. He had tried to hold back the tears all this time but he couldnt hold them back anymore and he broke down in tears. "I....a..am....really....s..sorry!" he said through his tears.

Minerva sat down and put her hand on his shoulder. "Stop it Harvs. No one is to blame here. We both have our problems. I know I was a brat in our relationship. I was always pushing you away and things you said would make me so uncomfortable and I just feel now it's because we were not right for each other. I hear you say the same things and do the same things with Ronnie and she loves it. She waits for it. That makes me so happy for you. Where William is like me I think. A little affectionate, but not to much. I think in the end it has worked out for both of us." Minerva didn't move from Harvs side or her hand away from him. She missed these moments between the two of them.

Harvey felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Minnie there by his side, it made him so happy to see that she still cared for him. He had heard her say she did but they never had a chance to show it. He listened to what she had to say. He didnt move his eyes from her face "Firstly you were not a brat... you were the best thing to happen to me, even though it didnt last as I wanted it to. But never mind. Maybe you are right about us not meant for each other and us being happy as we are right now with the two Lions and yes maybe it has worked out for the best." he said then he looked at the floor in front of him "I was becoming a brat, a spoilt one at that wanting you by my side all the time. But I cant have that." he then looked at her "See this is what I have been missing, you and me without all the other friends, sitting next to each other JUST the TWO of us." he then rubbed the hand that was on his shoulder as he looked at her. "You are the bestest friend a guy could ask for." he said as a single tear fell down his face.

"Oh I don't know about that Harvs." Minerva said as she sat there watching the night sky.

Rubbing her eyes with her two little hands, Zara laid back on the concrete ground. It was nice to hang around once in a while and enjoy the wonders that the world beheld. Yawning, she took one last look at the starry night and began to close her eyes. Maybe it would be nice to drift into sleep. A few students were around, but thank goodness they weren't making enough noise to be considered as a disturbance.

With her eyes closed, Zara's mind began to play back memories of her first year at Hogwarts. Everything was new, almost everyone was at first strangers with turned out to be good friends and schoolmates, all was a mystery. Now, she was ready to finally be on an actual adventure. That trip to the finding of the Room of Requirement with Kurumi sure was fun, especially the after treat that came when they finally got in. Those were the good times. Maybe Zara ought to be making more of them, with new people, in undiscovered places.

It was the good life.

The Observatory. Why was she here again ? Oh, right. Reminisce on some moments .. Beatrice walked inside the Observatory. She didn't have plans of looking through a telescope or watch the sparkling moon this time. All she wanted was quiet, peaceful place where she can actually reminisce about the times when her family was still complete and full of joy. In short, she needed a place where she can emote.

Just as she was about to sit down on the floor and start her emoting session, she saw a body lying close to her. Blinking, she approached it. It was actually a girl. And her eyes are closed. Beezus' heartbeat started to race. Could she...could the girl be.."Hey, are you dead?" She asked in a hushed voice as she poked the girl's cheek with her finger.

Zara was close to unconsciousness and her mind was slowly drifting away to blurry thoughts until nothing else was left but darkness. Peace and quiet. Yup, it sure was the good li-- What?

She must be hallucinating cause Zara just heard a voice. 'Hey, are you dead? He-hey. Are you? Are you? Hey are you? Dead? Dead...dead...dead.' As it echoed through her ears as if they were real. It was a soft voice, almost angel-like in her hearing. And just as suddenly someone poked Zara, her cheek to be specific. This time, she was sure she wasn't hallucinating anymore cause dreams certainly COULD NOT BE FELT.

Her eyes twitched as her mind tried to figure this out and at the same time, it tried to push the thought away, not wanting sleep to be cut short. Finally, the pieces were put together and her mind was working once more. Opening her eyes suddenly, Zara realized she was still at the Observatory as she could still see the bright stars surrounding the moon that shone directly through her eyes. 'Oh crud, I must've fallen asleep,' she thought lazily to herself as she yawned once more and stretched with eyes closed while still lying down.

Getting back to her old self, Zara opened her eyes once more and saw a girl curiously looking at her who was almost just beside her. And on instinct, she sat up straight in a sudden move in shock and got up to her feet as Zara let out a surprised gasp.

Harvey was shocked "W...w...what do you mean? You dont know about what?" he was now very confused. He tried to read her face, What was she thinking?

"Heeeyyyy ..." She whispered as she continuously poked the girl's cheek. Why was this girl not waking up ? Was she really dead ? She can't be, right ? Besides, the girl's cheek was not cold. It was warm, a good warm .. That warmth she would feel long ago when she still had Bambi, that warmth when she held her sister close to her.

So, this girl couldn't be dead ! Not a chance .. Just then, the girl stirred. With that, Beezus backed away slowly. Then the girl opened her eyes, yawned and even stretched. That, dead ? Nope. The girl was just asleep Beezus. And you obviously woke her.

Get ready for the yells and shouts when she sees you, you dimwit. Her mind was basically making up things inside her head. Telling her to expect the worse things to happen. Oh, she was ready for it. But...she suddenly gasped! The girl gasped and looked at her with a surprised look. What ? I'm not a ghost. "So you're not dead after all." She said, crossing her arms.
