Alex laughed. "Dunno the guest room looks so small and cozy." she said dreamily. "And if i come regulary wouldnt it be easier to keep my stuff in one room?" Alex added sticking her tounge out at Rose. hehe.

Rose shrugged. Then her face broke out into a smirk. 'I wonder if he'll get married and have kids?' she laughed, then stopped. 'Then what'll happen to us?' she asked, her voice low.

Ronnie looked at the pictures. "Wow! It's like he's giving you luxury for free!" she said, gaping at the photos. "How'd he buy that?!" she said, her mouth still hanging open.

Ten minutes later, she sat up, setting her book to the side. She hadn’t really been able to concentrate. The challenge of the unsolved number was just calling to her. She edged closer to the box, though not too close. She shut her eyes and took a few deep breaths before trying again. Up, down, and up, and flick! “Arithmos Revelio!!” She spoke forcefully, concentrating hard on making the numbers appear.

Oh. Well, numbers had appeared and they were quite clear, but were they correct? She silently compared the two numbers, a smile slowly growing. She had done it! After about three long hours, she had managed to reveal the numbers!!

Grinning now, she peeked at her Arithmancy notes to discover the next part of the assignment: Using what you know about the spell placed on the walnut, try to open it by bypassing the curse. This would be a little more difficult. She had known what to do during the first part of the assignment. This was going to be more guesswork than anything else.

Though..she would hold off for now. Her mind still felt fuzzy from the continued attempts at revealing the spell. To remedy that, she would go out and enjoy a bit of fresh air. Then she would be ready to continue.

Rose laughed at Ronnie's face, then stopped. 'I don't know, but I do know that me and the twins are eternally grateful, and that's just what I told him.' Rose smiled softly.

"He would think about you and by then your dad should be on his feet and able enough for you to move back in." Alex said hugging Rose with one arm.

Rose nodded. Her Dad had better start finding a job. He had to fight to get them back. 'He's going to a meeting with the social soon, to determine whether he's fit to care for us.' Rose told her, nodding again.

"Thats good you should help hiim. Send him an owl with some job ideas maybe." Alex was happy she could help her friends through times like these but thought she could get to involved at times...

Rose shrugged. 'I don't know anything about jobs, I haven't been in the muggle world for months now.' Rose said sadly. She didn't know what jobs were out there for him, he'd have to do it on his own.

Alex thought about some jobs. "You can get like emmmm." This was hard....

Rose shrugged. 'It don't matter, he'll find one.' she smiled, reassuring herself, more than Alex.

"Yhe he will." Alex smiled. "Want to go to to the lake or something?" she added.

Rose nodded at Alex at her suggestion of going to the lake. It'd be nice to get away from all of this...

"Good!" Ronnie said. "Dang, his house is fancier than ours!" she said laughing.

Wisteria plopped on her bed. Tired, but not sleepy. Her cat, Wolfy, followed her resting her head on my lap. She started petting her pulling out her wand to practice her potronus.

Rose giggled. 'I can't wait to see it properly, huh?' she grinned sheepishly. Sometimes she worried that others thought she was taking advantage of all of this. She wasn't, she was eternally grateful. Truthfully.

Alex's long wander through the common room was making her feel even more bored so she walked one foot infront of the other all the way up the steps to the dorm and in through the door. She then went and just fell on her bed face first onto the pillow. What was with her today?

Sniffling and coughing a bit, Kurumi snuggled under the covers of her bed a bit more, trying to get every ounce of warmth from it that she could. It probably hadn't been the best of ideas to practice Freezing Charms without wearing her coat, but she had lost track of time working on the spells. At least she had managed to keep the ice cream from melting so that meant that when she got around to making the real ice cream cake that she would be able to actually produce something.

She sneezed again and snuggled up like a burrito under the covers, her face just barely visible under the crimson fabric.

Selina ran into the room like a bat out of hell shaking her arms and her legs and head in a cacophony of chaos. Her body was just bursting with excitement. Something wonderful had just happened and she wanted to spread the joy all around the world. THE GREAT HALL MADE A RED VELVET CAKE!

She was sure that this was ground breaking, history had been made. So when she saw Kurumi in the Dorms she didn't even notice her best friend/ sister was ill. It was not her fault for being so distracted so she pounced like a lion on top of Kurumi and shouted, "RED VELVET IN THE GREAT HALL!!!!!!"

Kurumi sort of wormed her way out of the blankets so that the top of her head down to about her nose was peeking out. Blinking her violet eyes a few times, Kurumi watched as Selina twirled her way through the room and then. OOOOF!! Kurumi felt all the air rush out of her lungs and her entire body sunk into the bed from Selina's weight on top of hers. Granted, the blankets added several pounds as well. And then...the worst bit happened...Selina was SHOUTING. Thankfully, Kurumi's ears were still hidden by the blankets, so the shrieking wasn't as loud as it could have been.

*sniffle sniffle*

"That's...erm...great...Selina," she said once her breath came back.

"That's... erm... great... Selina," she said back in Kurumi's face, "You're bloody joking right? It's brilliant!". Where was her enthusiasm? Things like this did not hapoen often and to be honest Kurumi's nonchalant attitude was making Selina come down from her sugar high. Buzz kill.

She poked her friend in the nose and asked, "What's your problem? This is great news!"

Kurumi muffled a sneeze with her blankets as Selina sort of went further off into orbit about her cake. She thought about mentioning that chances were that the cake would be better any other term since the standards this term had fallen down down down down this term. That thought wasn't helping her condition any. She was already worried sick about the house elves, and now she literally was sick. "No...I know you really enjoy red velvet cake Selina," she said with a weak smile.

When Selina poked her nose, Kurumi sneezed rather loudly and sniffled some more. "I'm sick."

Selina jumped off of Kurumi when Kurumi sneezed on Selina's hand. "Ew yuck," Selina complained, "you seriously just sneezed on my hand." She crawled to the corner of Kurumi's bed and then said, "Wait... you're sick? Why? What happened?"

Why was she sick? Well, because she had caught a cold. Chances were that she knew exactly where it had come from too, but that didn't really matter. Being sick was being sick. "Um...I caught a cold, I guess," she replied, snuggling under the covers a bit more.

Well, this certainly made the conversation about Quidditch that she had been meaning to have with Selina more awkward.

Selina wiped her hands on the sheets of the bed. She had sneeze hands and to be honest she loved Kurumi... but not enough to deal with that. It was just gross. She could deal without the snot hands. For sure, snot hands did not make for a happy Selina. Yuck.

Then her blue eyes flickered up to Kurumi's violet eyes, "You caught a cold? Doing what?" Then Jonathan popped into her mind, "On second thought... I don't want to know."
