Selina put her hands on her hips as Kurumi whacked her again, "You could have said it better... but now you are going to pay for that one." Her hand drew back like a beater preparing to hit a rogue bludger and she swung for Kurumi's side. Kurumi retaliated as well and Selina realized that both of their pillows had been slashed open... Walnut. However, she kept swinging and the feathers sprinkled across the room like the snow that was on the ground outside.

Kurumi continued to laugh and jumped down to grab her camera. Once the camera was set up Selina saw that the timer was going and Selina pulled Kurumi up on the bed to stand with her and smiled.

*CLICK*

They were the chicken chicks. Masters of crime and time. Two chickens against the world with only their feathers to keep them warm.

She looked at Kurumi and smacked her in the head, "I love you, kid. I'm glad I met you that day on the bus."

"Yeah!" Ronnie said smiling. "Wanna send it?" she asked.

Rose nodded at Ronnie. They would, hopefully, have a home. If Rupert said yes. Then he'd be their... Dad? The thought seemed strange...

Ronnie smiled and asked "Do you got Hazel with you?" she asked since her pet rat and cat wouldn't be able to bring a letter all the way to Rupert. Or they could use a school owl.

'Not with me, we could go to the Owlery. Or we could use the spell I used to send my letter to Violet!' Rose smiled, taking her wand out and tapping the piece of parchment, causing it to fold up into a bird. 'Rupert Weasley!' she told it and beamed as it flew out of the window to wherever Rupert was. 'It'll unfold when it gets there, and he writes on the back. Then he taps it, and it'll come back.' Rose smiled. He'd know how, he was an adult wizard. She onlt knew the spell as someone taught her it.

Ronnie watched curiously as she used the spell. "Wow!" she gasped when it had flew out the window. "To think, how could we live with out magic?" she asked with a laugh. "How'd you learn that?

Rose nodded. 'To think, I nearly did.' she laughed. Nearly was a muggle... She couldn't imagine herself. But, she knew, that if she had no magic, everyone would have liked her. She hated to admit it, but she would have been the one at school that all the girls tryed to hang out with, she'd be the pretty, popular one. She sighed and shook her head, looking up at Ronnie. 'I was at a wizard wedding, someone there taught me it, as I needed to send a letter home. He did it and told me how, and I remember, I suppose...' she shrugged.

Ronnie shook her head. "It wouldn't be Hogwarts without you!" she said. "Oh how cool!" she said.

Suddenly, a not flew right in and it Ronnie on the head. "Oww!" she said, picking up the letter. "Well he replied fast, didn't he?" she said with a laugh. She eagerly opened the letter.....

Ronnie did a big whoop and she gave Rose the letter to read.

Rose blinked and smiled. Wouldn't be Hogwarts without her? Aw... 'Same to you, Ronnie, same to you!' she grinned.

She saw the bird fly in and hit Ronnie, giggling slightly. 'He did... I suppose that the birds fly fast!' she nodded, feeling impressed with the magic. She saw Ronnie whoop and her hopes shot right up.

She took the letter and smiled reading it, until she got to the bit when he said 'Yes,' in which she started to squeal. They had a home! They had someone to look after them! 'Well, I suppose that's settled, then!' Rose giggled, still feeling giddy from happiness.

"Thanks!" she said smiling.

"Ya think?" she said with a laugh. "Yes! It's settled! And the other cool thing is yesterday, he finally found a place to live in! It has four bedrooms so all of you can have your own room, unless the twins wanna share the extra room can be a guest room!" she said smiling and throwing her arms around Rose. She was so happy for her!

Elle made her way up to Gryffindor Tower, hoping to see some friends. She walked through the common room & saw a few familiar faces, but not any she cared to talked to right now. So she walked into the dormitory, went to her bed & pulled out a few books. She began to flip through them absentmindedly, & noticed the other girls in there with her chatting.

Her eyes flickered open, and she turned to her right side, pulling the covers around her tighter. January 1. Start of the new year. She hoped it was going to be a good one, much like last year had been. Her gaze traveled from the books that she had received for Christmas, up to the bedside table, and finally settled on her little egg.

Stifling a gasp, she bolted upright and scrambled out of the bed. Her egg! Her Jazzy! What had happened to it?! Peering closely at it, she reached for it, holding it in her hands. She was freezing! And she had turned blue! Oh no!

Kourtney jumped back into her bed, holding her wand as she did so. Okay...that spell. It was...Humidus? No, no, that was to make damp or wet. Calidus! That was it! The young Gryffindor lifted her wand, swished it and tapped the egg, while casting Argentum Calidus.

Ah, warmth flooded her hands. Goody! It had worked. She lifted up Jazzy and smiled happily.

Soon though, the smile disappeared. The egg was getting cold again. "Ooo, come on Jazzy." She cast the spell yet again, hoping that the egg just needed an extra boost of heat. Once again, heat flared and slowly ebbed away, but then flared again. It seemed to be working!

She held the egg for several minutes, watching as it slowly faded to its signature silver color. It remained at its normal temperature, and for that Kourtney was grateful. Blowing out a sigh of relief, she carefully set the egg down and dug through her trunk. She removed an old pair of socks and wrapped Jazzy within them. It seemed to be colder than normal this morning, and Jazzy must have been affected. Kourt would have to remember to make sure the egg was warm throughout the night.

After dressing for breakfast, she slipped the egg into her robe pocket. Hopefully, Jazzy would behave for the rest of the day.

'I know, I got a letter from him asking about our bedrooms!' Rose grinned, taking the letter out and showing Ronnie the pictures of her room and the twins' room.

Alex walked in the dorm and over heard Rose and Ronnie talking. "Why hello." she said with a smile sitting herself beside Rose.

Rose looked up and saw Alex sitting beside them and smiled at her. 'Hey, Alex! How're you?' she asked, beaming happily.

"Im good thanks your amazing self?" Alex said. "And watcha got there?" she added grinning.

Kourtney hopped onto her bed, setting the box from their Arithmancy lesson down in front of her. This assignment was going to be a difficult one. She wasn’t sure how successful she was going to be, but she had to try.

Her notes were on the side of her, and she read over them silently. First, tap the box with your wand. Glancing towards the box, she lifted her wand and tapped it once, though firmly. The top opened immediately, and she peered inside. Yes, there was the walnut, as promised.

At least she had done that part correctly. Now…to practice the spell. She repeated the words silently several times before trying it out on her own. “Arithmos Revelio!” Nothing. Not even a number. Sighing, she read her notes again. Oh. She hadn’t performed the proper wand movement.

Sheepishly smiling to herself, Kourt moved her wand up, down, up, and then flicked it. “Arithmost Revelio!!” Ah! Now something had shown up. It was a little difficult to see though. 2…8…4…8…2…She looked back at her notes to compare the numbers from class. The ones in front of her definitely did not match the ones from class.

'I'm awesome, thank you very much!' Rose beamed. 'What have I got?' Rose asked, raising her palms to face Alex to show she had nothing. What did Alex mean?

Ugh. Why couldn’t they have practiced this in class? She could have possibly gained pointers from the professor. She waved her wand again in the required movement and tried yet again. The numbers were a little clearer, but they still appeared wrong. Her eyes squinted to read the number code. Nope. No dice.

“Oh, come on!” She complained out loud. Glaring at the box, she raised her wand again and repeated the wand movement and incantation yet again. As her wand swept downwards, the tip touched the tip of the walnut. Uh-ooooooooooooh. Everybody freeze!

Oh wow, that was the weirdest feeling!! Blinking rapidly, she backed away from the box a little, eyeing the walnut warily. She would have to be more careful with how low she moved her wand. Though…she still had been unsuccessful. Try, try again.

The minutes ticked by as the young Gryffindor attempted the spell again and again and again. Finally, she stopped, flopping back onto the bed in frustration. Okay, she needed a break. She often experienced this with her dancing. She just needed to relax and then try again in a while.

For now, she would read a book that she enjoyed and then get back to the box. Pulling out her book on the famous ballerina Anna Pavlova, she settled down for a bit of light reading.

"I ment the letter." Alex said grinning.

'OH!' Rose exclaimed, picking up the letter in front of her. 'I-It's Rupert saying he wants to care for us. That he has extra room and has always wanted a family to care for. So, he said we could live with him in his new house.' Rose smiled, feeling happy. She'd now have a Dad. 'Which means Ronnie is my Aunt!' she giggled.

"Kool." Alex had talked to Ronnie and she said it was fine for Alex to stay as well. "I asked Ronnie if i could stay too just for the company and she said it was fine." Alex said smiling.

Rose nodded and smiled, cocking her head to the side. 'Don't you live with your parents?' she asked, wondering how they took this. It was as if they wanted to get rid of her! 'Do you mean fully, or sometimes?' Rose asked. She had never lived with so many siblings. And she was about to get more. It'd be weird if Alex was living with them too.

"Sometimes it gets a bit lonely with just my parents in the house over the summer ect." Alex said smiling. "Just imagine me as your i dunno Cousin." she said laughing.

Rose beamed happily. 'So, it'll be like having a friend to stay? Will you be staying in my room? It's massive!' Rose laughed happily. She loved her room, it was amazing. 'Cousin, I can do that!' she laughed, sticking her tongue out.
