Erin then escaped her bed covers and headed to the girl's direction. "Hi there. I'm Erin," she said as she sat beside her. |
Jayden walked dreamily back into the dormitory... it had been a long day. She had gotten kissed, one of her friends had fainted... and things were about to get pretty interesting come morning time... |
Jez dumped Rowena on the bed. "We have got to stop having these little heart-to-hearts," she told the blue-spotted black cat sternly. "What? I think they're rather enjoyable." Rowena started licking her paws and passing them over her ears. "Can't you just pretend to be a normal cat?" pleaded Jez. "Just for once?" Rowena looked affronted. "Oh, first it's 'why didn't you tell me you could talk?' and now it's 'why won't you shut up?' I don't have counterspell, Jezabel." "It's Jez," she said automatically. Rowena rolled her eyes. "Whatever." Her cute fluffy face turned serious. "What do you think the boy meant by what he said about someone out to get him?" Jez sighed. "If you mean Scott, then I have no idea. He sounded pretty freaked, though." "And worried about his girlfriend," agreed Rowena. "Did you know about that?" "Truthfully, no." Jez sighed and lay down on the bed, her hands behind her head. Rowena curled up on Jez's tummy, her face turned towards her. "Is everyone in a pair except me?" whispered Jez, extracting one hand from behind her head to stroke Rowena's soft fur. "I could do a bit of recon for you," offered Rowena. "You know, check up on things, gather information, report back with interesting tidbits." Jez frowned. "Like spying?" "No! Just ... observing our surroundings." Rowena batted at Jez's hand playfully. "Come on, Jez, please? Pretty please with mouse guts on top?" Jez laughed. "Ew! But okay, you can 'gather information' or whatever, if you want." "Cool!" Rowena stretched, giving Jez what might have been a grin before snuggling down and taking a nap. |

"Oh hi, Erin, I'm Annabeth, are you friends with Harvey, I've seen you with him," she said. |
For Vashti *shifty* "...but you can't just use it right away." Louisa was talking when she climbed into the dormitory with Vashti from class. She'd been explaining to Vashti about the love potion Aurora had given her the summer before last. "It's not finished. If you want to use it on someone you have to add one little touch and it's done." The girl had taken off her shoes, threw her bag on her bed and started to remove her robe. "Who are you going to use it on?" Louisa was so impressed by Vashti, all the argument on the way up here and she was annoyed by her but now she was just impressed. "Can I watch?" With a flop Louisa sat on top of her robe on the bed, a smirk playing on her face. The potion was still secretly hidden in this room. |

Vashti had never considered herself a particularly good actress, but she was clearly doing a good job at acting like she was interested in actually using this love potion since Louisa continued on and on about it all the way up to the girls dormitory. So it WAS in here, was it? Unless the fourth year did have it with her but didn't want to pull it out in the middle of the corridor. That was possible. But either way, Vashti's timing would have to be perfect. "Can't tell you right now," she replied with a small smile, hoping that it looked mischeivous or something. But...Louisa wanted to watch? "Maybe." Probably not. |
Presley wasn't tired, but she knew she would be soon. She was running on nothing, and it was making her feel so HYPER!! Having not gotten much sleep the previous night, Presley was now ging to bed. Relatively early. She danced into the room, and grinned at all of it's occupants. "Good night Louisa, Goodnight Vashti, goodnight every one!" |

Jenny quickly walked into her dorm, noticing the other girls chatting with each other. She wanted to talk (since she hadn't talked to anyone in her house a lot this year), but with her mouth to tired to do anything else, she decided to go back to doing her Transfiguration homework. Quickly climbing onto her bed, her owl Snappy snapped his beak at her gleefully. "Shush, Snappy!" Jenny urged her owl to calm down. "You'll disrupt the entire room!" To make sure that Snappy really stayed quiet, Jenny threw an owl pellet into the cage. Now that her owl was easily distracted, she can practice in peace. Should she pull the curtains? Jenny wondered. Nah! Jenny closed her eyes to visualize what hair color she had in mind. Then she tapped her wand on her head. "Ristaris!" Jenny whispered, quickly picking up her mirror. Her hair became more bright green than she expected, but other than that, it wasn't bad. She tapped her head twice. "Intaris!" she whispered again. Only her green hair wouldn't change back to black...uh oh. |

Was she even in love? Meh. Louisa just shrugged and climbed on her bed and raised her arms to touch the horizontal prop that held curtain around the bed. Her hands worked skillfully through the folds and in a minute she had a fairly large vial of silver liquid. Jumping down, the vial clutched tightly in hand, she gave Vashti an I-Am-A-Genius look. "How much you want?" |

Aha! There it was! Vashti briefly considered whether to say the spell verbally or non-verbally - verbally would be easier, but she'd been practicing her non-verbals a bit, and the Summoning Charm was one of the ones she'd been especially practicing. But this had to go right the first time, so better not risk it. Suddenly her wand was in her hand; she pointed it and said the incantation, "Accio love potion." Zooooom! The vial was now in her hand. |
EEP! Didn't see Persley's post before. Sorry. SPOILER!!: For Persley :) Quote:
"Vashti... what are you doing?" Louisa took a step closer, suspicion in her tone. Why did Vashti zoom it toward her instead of asking to get it? Louisa was going to give her just as much as she wanted... so why-- O___o Was it all an act? Last term Vashti did a thorough interrogation about this particular vial and expressed her disapproval quite clearly. Could she..? Gulp. No. Because if she did, Louisa would be... furious. |
Quote:
"I'm getting rid of it, that's what I'm doing," she replied. "It's more trouble than it's worth, and I'm not going to risk you trying to use it on someone else and wind up getting caught." She hadn't been caught by a professor when she'd used it on Dallin, but consequences had still followed. Vashti wasn't sure Louisa had actually learned from those consequences, however. She had seemed so eager to let Vashti use it on someone that the sixth year was positive Louisa had who knew how many others in mind to use it on. And what if the next time the results were far more severe than what had followed the first time? That was highly possible, so the only logical solution was to get rid of it. The sooner the better. |

Jumping toward Vashti, Louisa reached for the hand with vial while using her another one to push the older girl back. "Give it to meee! It's miiinee..I paid forrr it." Grunting and whining as she continued to wrestle the vial out of Vashti's hand. It wasn't like Louisa was about to use it on someone else! Not another student, anyway. Aunt Brown was definitely a candidate though and so were her mother and Jason - but that was none of Vashti's business! |
Quote:
"Protego," she muttered, casting a temporary shield between herself and Louisa. No more pushing. Now what was that the fourth year had said? She'd paid for it? Vashti could've sworn she'd said previously that some girl - Aurora? Something like that - had given it to her, but whatever. "I'll pay you back whatever amount you paid for it, but you are not getting this back. It's against the rules, and it's wrong, and I'm not going to let you use it on anyone else." |
Quote:
..not for long. The older girl casted a shield sending Louisa into a backward stagger before balancing herself. She was panting slightly, from anger, and she shot a look at her opponent. "Hand it over, Vashti, you don't want to do this," she hissed , "You're not my MOTHER." Without hesitation she tried to jumped back at the girl but the shield flashed and she was thrown back on her butt. "I don't want your money! Give it to me! I'm not going to use it again!" Not in school anyways. But at this point, the last thing Louisa thought of was being honest or not. Her puking pastilles were finally going to be of use if Vashti took the potion away. |

"Oh well, I'm muggleborn, well at least I think that I am, I don't really know, but I grew up in the muggle world so I guess that I am anyway. How about you?" she asked curiously. |
Luna twisted and turned in her bed she sat up and started coughing it took her a while to notice she was coughing up blood once she looked and it tears began to roll down her cheeks it was more than a cold she was getting ill she looked around for somone to comfort her although she didn't mind if no one came she sat coughing and taking great gulps of water trying to ease the pain in her throat |

Alice was walking to her bed, when she stopped horrified in her tracks. She thought she saw a young first year coughing blood. Going right to the girls side, she asked, "Are you alright? Would you like me to take you to the hospital wing?" |

"If you're not going to use it, then why in Merlin's name do you want it back so badly?" Really. Vashti wasn't stupid. And Louisa wasn't either, so surely she knew Vashti wasn't going to fall for that lie. The desperation in the fourth year's behavior and tone clearly stated that she was planning on using it on someone, and Vashti was ruining her plans. |

"I'm Muggleborn too," she said quickly. "Let's prove everyone, Muggleborns are not underdogs," said Erin smiling broadly. "Oh!" she said looking at one of the frames. "Is that your mother?" |
Quote:
"I'm not going to use it on any student, no. I want it because it's a gift from a friend. Now hand it over or you won't be happy about the consequences." She gave Vashti a hard and a bit hurt look, with her right arm extended toward the girl. |
Jez drew the curtains around her bed. Her blue-spotted black cat Rowena sat on the pillow preening herself. Jez sat down next to her and toyed with her wand. "Are you sure about this?" she asked. "Positive." Rowena licked her paw and passed it over her ears for the thousandth time. "Your teacher said for you to test the spells, right? So, you're experimenting how well it works as a disguise. Will any of your fellow Ravenclaws recognise you?" "Probably not," replied Jez worriedly. "And that's what I'm worried about." "Well, stop being worried." Rowena gave Jez an irritated look as the cat tried to de-tangle a small twig from her tail. "Just do the spells already." Jez sighed and tapped her head with her wand. "Felintas." Another tap. "Ristaris." She hesitated before doing her eyes, glancing at Rowena. "Are you sure ..." "Just do it, Jezabel." Jez was a little nervous. Was she supposed to tap on her eye, near her eye, or just above it? She settled for tapping on her closed eyelids, and proceeded to tap each eye in turn. "Ristaris. Ristaris." Sighing, she pulled that now ever-present hand mirror from her pocket, and looked at herself in it. Her hair was a few centimetres above her elbows, and wavy without being curly. The fringe swung across her face, obscuring one eye and completely hiding the other. Her eyes were no longer their startling violet, but a dull hazel. Her hair, meanwhile, made up for the lack of imagination her eyes showed. It was bright pink and as shiny as a star on a clear night. Jez almost shrieked when she saw the colour her hair had turned. She hated pink! "Oh suck it up, Jez," scoffed Rowena, staring at her with interest. "You look perfectly adorable. Now go out there and fool some kiddies." Jez shot her an annoyed look before drawing back the curtains and retreating to the common room. Time to test her hypothesis ... |
