As Cora absent-mindedly brushed her hair out of her face, her mind turned towards her kitten, which she still needed to name, and wondered where she was. It was pretty ridiculous that her kitten didn't have a name, but she was working on it.
"That's good. I hope Sam comes here too, then. And Beauxbatons isn't too bad. I have heard a lot of good things about it. None as good as Hogwarts, of course, but if that's where she ends up it's probably for the best." Cora replied politely. She honestly couldn't think of any reason why someone wouldn't want to come to Hogwarts, but she knew there were other schools out there. At least if Elliot didn't prefer to have her in the same school, Cora would be on her side.
Curious. Well, of course, it wasn't hard to tell that Elliot liked words. Cora smiled at this, and thought about herself. Did she like words? Cora couldn't decide. Words were the one thing that got in the way for Cora, yet when calm Cora could string together the most beautifully-eloquent sentences she had ever heard. "I suppose i like words, too, but numbers are just so, exact." This seemed a bit too simple but Cora didn't elaborate, her sentence seemed to personify the word she was trying to describe.
"Ooh, Latin. That's got to be helpful with all these spells, isn't it? I know a bit of Latin, I guess, but only what I read in a book once, not enough to really say I know the language." Cora wished she knew more in this area. Nothing bothered Cora more than finding out she didn't know something, which she seemed to be discovering more often lately. She guessed it was the Ravenclaw in her.
"I really love how languages work, though. And I wish I knew more of them, or at least the important ones."
Elliot fidgeted with the end of her cuff on her sleeve. eh. It was being all weird and messy and bothersome. "I visited Beauxbatons." Fact! Elliot was actually very surprised that she had disliked the place. The way her father had described it, it seemed right up Elliot's alley. Not. "It was very elegant and nice, but just so...gaudy. They showed off too much. I dislike huge amounts of wealth on display." Elliot lived in a ENORMOUS MANSION and she had a large amount of wealth to her name, but the Morganzo's did not flaunt it. Sure, they definitely showed off here, brag there, but her home was not overgrown with jewels and gold and just pointless stuff all over the place. her mansion was neat, clean, and spacious. With a few statues here, a few there, some ancient paintings, and a dozen small rooms to keep their heirlooms that were kept locked at all times. The Morganzo's definitely did not want to show off to people their wealth when their name was all they were proud of. "I mean, we don't do that, and we probably have more money than that school altogether." And it probably was true. Elliot didn't know for sure how rich they were, and she didn't think she would ever find out. Elliot found money pointless, and was much more interested in keeping up to her family's standards.
Exact. Exactly! Ha. Elliot smirked a bit. "This is true. I find math pointless, though. We can do magic...why do we need math? Besides the initial stuff, like addition and subtraction?" Eh. Elliot hopefully would have servants to do idle math for her in the future, if she ever needed.
Latin was pretty helpful to know for certain spells, Cora was right. "Yeah, it is. My father's brilliant with Latin. I wish I could be...but.." well, she wasn't in his good graces right now. She lowered her eyes back to her messy stupid cuffs, and considered just chopping them off. NO. That would make them messier...she attempted to concentrate on something other than her father. Just thinking about how angry he was at her was making her want to go mad, insane!

Sammy was bored. She felt like reading but everywhere was horrible weather which would make reading Pride and Prejudice why too serious. She thought it was a horrible thing to take something seriously, it made things boring. At least that's how she saw it. So with book in hand she wandered the halls looking for a semi-quiet place to read, somewhere where she couldn't hear the rain. But so far unsuccessful, you could hear the rain everywhere.
Spying a bench she made her why over to it, sat down, tied her hair up in a pony to keep it out of her face and opened her book to attempt to read of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, denying their feelings for each other. It was rather ridiculous, but incredibly interesting.

Everett walked through the corridors of Hogwarts, guitar hanging off his shoulder. He had his plan, song chosen and everything. All that was needed now was the two ladies of the plan. Sammy and Amy. Part of him didn't know why he was doing this, but he did know he wanted to make Amy jealous, and serenading her friend was his idea to make that happen.
Then he noticed Sammy sitting on a bench reading some book. Perfect. All that was needed now was Amy nearby to get jealous, or enough of a crowd that it would spread through the school so Amy heard about it, preferably the first though. He walked over to Sammy.
"Hey, what's up?" Everett asked as he sat on the seat beside her.

Sammy looked up to see. CURLY HAIR BOY! Or Everett. He had a guitar. Why. She had a book because she was trying to read. Simple. But why did he have a guitar? WHY. WHY. WWWWHHHYYYY. What's up? oh she'd tell him what's up. "the ceiling" she said. Well it was. If there wasn't a ceiling there, she'd be wet because it was raining. And her book would be wet. ANd she'd kill someone. Then holding up her book and saying "And Lydia being a cow and running away with a man in debt who she talked to, like, twice" she continued, with a slight eye roll. Stupid Lydia.
Anyway, Everett probably didn't want to hear about Lydia's problems and personally nor did she. She wanted to know about Mr. Darcy, not freaking Lydia. "What brings you here with your guitar?" she asked, putting the bookmark back in her book. He sat down, that meant he wanted to talk, so no reading for Sammy at the moment.

Amy was bored. Not even good bored, bored bored, as in so bored, eating cheese was more fun. And eating cheese wasn't fun. Nup. The short potato child wandered the halls of the school, she'd tried the outside grounds looking for Sammy or Aaron, but had that worked? No. Evidently it hadn't. She'd gone to the common room and checked the dorms, checked the entrance hall and the kitchen to see if it was still closed and was now browsing all the floors. She'd even walked into a lesson in her search's
BABOOOOOM Amy spotted her. And Everett. Looking mightily cushy..oooo errrr. Stopping, she debated whether or not to walk over or go find Aaron

Adam had received an owl from Paulie telling him that he had some news to share about Helen of Troy, a.k.a. Louisa. The letter had been so short and cryptic that Adam wasn't really whether or not he should be excited for this bit of news or dreading. Instinctively his mind went to dreading, but that probably had more to do with Adam's pessimistic attitude than anything else, and until he heard from Paulie he was just going to try to remain uncharacteristically optimistic. Finding an open bench Adam sat down, leaning forward on so that his elbows were resting on his knees, and waited until he saw signs of Paulie.

Mwahah.
Paulie felt so stealthy. Cool aliases and secret owls. It was like being a double agent! Like 007.
The fifth year ambled down the fourth floor corridor - this was where he planned to meet his best mate, Adam - and as he walked, he thought. He and Adam really needed codenames. I mean, really. They were best friends, partners in crime, each others' right hand MEN. They definitely needed codenames.
"I think we need codenames, mate," Paulie said, not even bothering with the formality of a 'hello,' but simply sliding on the bench next to his friend instead. Here he was, mulling over codenames, while Adam probably sat writhing in torment over this news about Louisa.
Cora thought about what Elliot had said. She really hadn't been to Beauxbatons, but she was pretty sure she wouldn't fit in there anyway. She would simply have felt out of place. For her, the decision was obvious, ever since the moment she was born. She grew up hearing about the wonders of Hogwarts. All of her family had gone there, and Cora cared very deeply about her family.
Cora could remember learning to read, and glancing through books that showed Hogwarts's greatest features. It just had so much...history.
Thinking back to Beauxbatons, Cora agreed, "Yes, I suppose it does seem gaudy." Cora was sort of glad that Elliot didn't like things too gaudy. It seemed odd to Cora that Elliot thought this way, especially since Elliot's family clearly COULD be gaudy if they had wanted. It made Cora a little uncomfortable. The Clearwater's were definitely well off, but they mostly just had enough to live comfortably. They were always very secretive about personal affairs, which is partly why Cora was rarely allowed out of the house. But they were by no means rich. Cora didn't mind much, she was content with how much she had. "There's no sense of showing off, I agree." Cora said with a smile. She was glad Elliot felt this way for the most part.
"Magic is helpful for a lot of things. But I'm not quite advanced enough to use magic for EVERYTHING." This was a bit of an understatement, since Cora was no where NEAR where she wanted to be in terms of her studies. But Cora did have high standards for herself, and was probably simply not confident enough yet.
Elliot trailed off. "But?" Cora asked politely. "But what? I'm sure your Latin is way better than mine. You have nothing to be worried about." Cora smiled. She really did like Elliot.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam hadn't even noticed Paulie sliding into the bench next to him until he heard some words about needing code names flow into his ears. He sat up, looking at Paulie with a some what bemused expression. The boy hadn't even said hello yet, but that was alright. This was just the kind of thing Adam expected with their friendship. "Code names, huh?" Adam said, leaning his back against the stone wall. "You mean like the names Super heroes give themselves to conceal their true identities or code names like spies, like 007?" Adam asked. Honestly he was rubbish at coming up with these kinds of things, but maybe Paulie would be better at them.
Adam was thoughtful for a moment, trying to think of what code names would work for them. They didn't want anything too obvious that people could figure out, like Lionboy or something like that, but they didn't want something dorky sounding either. After all code names were supposed to hair an air of mystery and sophistication to them, right? Adam was so deep in thought about this that he had almost forgotten why they were there in the first place. Turning his head so that he was looking at Paulie Adam cleared his throat slightly. "So...you have some news about Louisa?"

Everett blinked confusedly for a few moments. Lydia? Who was Lydia. He looked at the book. So Lydia was a character in the book doing something stupid. He hadn't ever read the book, and didn't plan on it, so he was just going to go with that.
Moving on. "Oh, not really any reason. Just been practicing and didn't want to bother going back to my dorm to put it away," That wasn't really a lie. He had been practicing, but for serenading her so he could make Amy jelly, and yeah, he was too lazy to go to his dorm to put it away, but he needed it for the serenading so that didn't count.
Then he noticed Amy appear, and he was pretty sure she was within earshot. Perfect. He pulled his guitar onto his lap, giving a glance to Amy, before looking at Sammy. And then he started playing the guitar and singing the song that he had found and was in his opinion, absolutely the best one for the situation. It even had Sammy's name in it, granted it was different spelling but it counted.
"The way her hair falls in her eyes, makes me wonder if she'll, ever see through my disguise, and I'm under her spell..." Everett sung, casting a glance from his guitar to try and see how both Sammy and Amy were taking it.

Well that was understandable. Sort of. Like when Sammy used to go into the kitchens to get food but then couldn't bothered to go back to the dorms so just stayed in the kitchens and ate more food. She was gonna ask why he was on the fourth floor, did they have good acoustics around here? Maybe she'd have to tell Katie about that, so she could practice. Yeah. She'd do that. And her excuse for being there wasn't too good either, she didn't like the sound of rain whilst she was reading Jane Austin books.
THEN HE STARTED SINGING. WUT. Had he said that he was going to sing and Sammy had missed it? But the lyrics, they were freaking ADORABLE, but why the hell was he singing them to her? 'cause he obviously liked Amy, it was obvious. And Amy fancied him too, no matter how much she denied it. So across her face there were a couple of emotions displayed, shock, surprisment, holy-crap-that-it-is-adorable but most of all, confusion. Like watching Inception confusion. So that meant it took her a moment or two to say "what. are. you. doing." rather quietly with her cheeks going red, well, more like her whole face. Kinda started to look like a tomato with blonde hair. And that could talk and express the emotions she was expressing.

The brunette stood, peering around the corner, as she debated whether or not to walk over to them, but as she took a step forward, Everett quickly looked around. Confused. That's what Amy was, plain and simple confused, this was not meant to be happening, Everett was supposed to run away or look terrified, not be all smug and take out his guitar. That bloody guitar that she kept being biffed with and tripping over. I mean WHO honestly named a guitar? Really? No one. Well, no one normal at the very least.
None the less, Amy continued to move forward. Then stopped. Because not only had Everett the idiot taken out his guitar, not only was he playing it, but he was singing to Sammy.
OH HELL NO

"So...you have some news about Louisa?"
"Code names," Paulie affirmed with a nod. COOL code names. 'Cause they were cool kids. Adam asked whether he meant like superhero kinda names or 007 kinda names, and Paulie gave a shrug. "Either. Superheroes are awesome, but so is James Bond, so I'm up for either." He cocked his head to the side and thought. Hmmmm. "So, how about I come up with a few for you, and you come up with a few for me, and then we swap 'em and see which ones are best?" Yes? "Or I could just be 007 right off the bat, and you could be...." He thought a second. Uhh.. "Lemme think."
OH! Right. Louisa. The boy suddenly grinned at his friend. "Oh yeeaah." heheh. The reason for this meeting in the first place. "Well, I told her about your date with Rubiey and she was totally jealous. Like, even I could tell she was jealous." Mmmmmhm. That you were, Helen of Tory. That. You. Wereee.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam thought for a moment, trying to think of what would be a good code name for Paulie. He tried to run through his head the different superheroes he know of from the various muggle comics that he read when Paulie suggested that he could be 007 and that Paulie could come up with something for him. "007 works for you," Adam said with a little nod. "Or Cyclops...you have the look that could totally work for you to be Cyclops," Adam said with another little nod. All they needed were to get him a cool pair of sunglasses, and bam, he'd be Hogwarts' own Cyclops in the flesh. Yeah. He liked it.
When Paulie remembered why he had asked Adam here, and began to speak Adam found that he had instinctively turned to look at the boy. Wait, what?! Louisa was jealous?? "She was?" Adam said, the shock showing clearly on his face. "You mean, like, jealous about me being with another girl?" Adam was sure that he sounded like a doofus, but honestly this bit of news perplexed him, mainly because Adam had planned on telling Louisa about Rubiey himself, but it looked like Paulie had beat him to chase. Actually, it saved Adam the awkward conversation of trying to tell Louisa himself. "I...just...wow. But she has a boyfriend. Is it normal for girls to be jealous of that kind of thing when they're already taken?"

Elliot nodded. "Honestly, having money is pretty awesome, I will be the first to admit. I get practically everything I want. But your title, your family, and where you come from is what is really important," she said, nodding firmly at her opinion. In her eyes, the her family pretty much had the best of both worlds.
"OH, Merlion no, neither am I. We are only ickle firsties. But I am sure that by the time we graduate we will be very polished and nice, the best at whatever we do, Cora. SO don't worry. We're Ravenclaws, afterall," she assured her with a wink and a smirk.
"Well...thanks. I am decent it at it. not nearly as good as my father would like, but I can read it and translate it and stuff. I also have the first dozen stanzas of the first book in the Aeneid memorized, with the correct meter and everything," she bragged, not mentioning what she was going on about. Because if Cora didn't know..well, Elliot wasn't explaining it. Hmph!

Paulie smirked proudly when Adam said that 007 suited him. Oh yehhh, that's right. But when Adam suggested Cyclops, Paulie's face lit up with astonishment/excitement/wowwwww. "Dude, Cyclops is one of my favorite superheroes!" YUSSSS. "Definitely Cyclops, 'cause you thought of it." And Paulie liked being Cyclops. "Cyclops. Cyke for short." He smirked again, very pleased.
Now they had to figure out Adam's code name. Paulie looked at his friend as different aliases passed through his mind. "Oh, you could be Havoc? That would make you my brother, 'cause Havoc is Cyclops' brother." Yeah, Paulie was a major bit of a comic book nerd. "Or you could definitely pull off Iceman," he said with a nod. Bobby Drake AKA Iceman was totally awesome. "OR," Yes, Paulie had another suggestion. "If you wanted a superhero name outside of the X-Men, I could see you as Spidey." Good old Peter Parker.
Heh. Adam look shocked at the whole jealousy news. "Yep. Jealous about you being with another girl." Obviously jealous. That girl did not hide it all that well. "Uhh..." Was it normal? Paulie matted down his hair and exhaled. "Beats me. But there was no doubting that she wasn't all that happy about you dating some other chick." This got Paulie thinking, actually.. "So, now that you're dating Rubiey and all.. do you still like Louisa, or..?" He probably did. You couldn't just go from having feelings for someone to suddenly being devoid of them. Paulie may have been a little guilty of this himself.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam gave Paulie a smirk when his face lit up with excitement at being called Cyclops. "You just look like a Cyclops to me," Adam said with a bit of a chuckle. "You've the got the right stature and air about you....yeah...you should definitely have that be your code name. I like Cyke for short too," Adam said with a little nod. Look at him coming up with a good code name. Who knew he was that creative? "Really the X-Men comics were my favorite thing to read when I was growing. Everything about them was just awesome."
As Paulie listed some code names that Adam could be he smiled, chuckling at Spidey Man. "I like both Iceman and Havoc...it would be cool having our code names be characters that are actually brothers," Adam said with a little nod. Best mates having brother code names. Yeah, that was cool! "But I gotta say, I could see myself as the Peter Parker type you know?" Adam said with a chuckle. After all out of all the superheroes outside of X-Men Adam definitely felt like he related to Peter the most. "So, I would say Spidey or Havoc," Adam said with a smirk. "Whichever you think fits better works for me!"
Adam leaned back against the stone wall, letting out a sigh as Paulie confirmed that Louisa was definitely jealous that he was with another girl. Then Paulie asked a very difficult question. Did he still like Louisa that way? A part of him still did...these weren't exactly the kinds of feelings that you could just one day decide to shut off, right? "A part of me still does, yeah," Adam said with a small nod. "You can't really change your attraction towards someone overnight you know? But Rubiey makes me really happy. Not that Louisa doesn't make my happy, but it feels good with Rubiey. Like when we sit on the couch next to each other, or hold each other's hands, or when we give each other kisses...it just feels right, you know?" Adam let out a little sigh. He was starting to sound like a girl. "I mean...you still kind of have feelings for Brooke right? Even though you're with Tori? Have those feelings gone away yet?"

Aaron stumbled along the corridor, no, he did not just fall down the stairs over the bag that he kept swinging around. The stairs had just decided the throw him over. And that was why he was now rubbing his backside as he half hopped, half walked along the corridor, pulling his bag along behind him.
He looked back towards the stairs to this corridor and stuck his tongue out at them, never going to forgive them. He didn't see the girl approaching him, that PROBABLY couldn't see him either and walked into her with full force.
Aaron fell back to the ground and sighed, 'seems you really love me, don't you floor?' he muttered and climbed back up. That hurt.
'I'm Aaron.' He tried as he noticed she was a Slytherin, he'd better not get her angry.. 'Sorry about that.'

she pulled her hair to one side and looked carefully at the guy , do I know him she thought , well he looked familiar but still she didn't know him .
she got closer and tried to help him , still bewildered " you ok ? " she asked . " I'm Cheryl , Cheryl Fitzgerald." she added .

Look left... no one. Look right... no one. Right. Ready to go!
SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!
TRIP!
"AAARRGGGHHHHH!"
OOOMPH!
And... Kita was on the floor. Dazed, confused and slightly weirded out by the situation, she groaned. Of all the celebrations she had had, this was definitely the... weirdest. The squealing wasn't; she was used to running down corridors squealing as if there's not tomorrow. But the weirdest thing was, she had never fallen over HER OWN FEET whilst running. It was usually some sort of object on the floor and in her way. But NO! Now, she had to trip over her feet.
HMPH!
Despite the slightly, er, odd run through the corridor, Kita was still smiling. This wasn't the first time she had fallen over that day. And she was used to injuries. Heck, she had just recovered from one and she was likely to have more again soon. So the seventeen year old smiled as she stood up and looked around her. Where...? Was she where she THOUGHT she was? Maybe it would do well to ask, right?
Right.
"Is this the fourth floor corridor?" Kita asked, looking at the closest two people to her, a girl and a boy. They would know right? They weren't clueless were they? 'Cause if they were, that meant that there would be three clueless people. Standing in an unknown corridor. All together.
" Nice to meet you Aaron " she shook his hand " I think this is the first time for us to talk right ? Aaron smiled and nodded, 'nice to meet you too.'
Wait, did she like... have amnesia? He'd like to think that he was memorable. He was! Right?! He shook his head, they hadn't met. Come to think of it, he didn't really know any Snakes. 'We haven't met.' He said. 'Maybe you should try a memory potion something..' Aaron mumbled and scratched the back of his head awkwardly, he really knew nothing about potions.

Great(!)
Just as Aaron picked his bag off the floor he saw Kita Lewis fall to the ground. He burst out into mad laughter, but went over to check nevertheless. 'Errr.... you 'kay?' He asked, giving her a strange look.
So he wasn't the only one who's face randomly decided to hang out with the floor! That was good. Maybe it was a badger thing... Fourth floor? Yea. 'Fourth floor is here.' Aaron mumbled, pointing towards the floor. 'Did you... like... bang your head? .... Or something..?'
Maybe she did. Who forgot what floor they were on? Or was he here with loads of people with memory loss?
This was odd.

.
Chery was relieved to know that they actually haven't met before , but was SO offended by the fact that Aaron suggested her to use some potions , who he thinks himself she thought to herself , " it seem you haven't noticed that I'm a Slytherin mister " she said sarcastically , she supposed he should understand that Slytherins are close to ideal close to perfect AND THEY ARE THE BEST AT POTIONS .

WHAT ON EARTH HAS JUST HAPPENED , who is this and what did she just do ? Cheryl was freaked out by the sound of the girl's fall and her Arithmancy book fell to the ground ,she looked at the girl who has just popped from no where and fell infront of them , what's happening today everyone is falling and everyone is being weird , " Are you ok ? " she aked her . and looked at Aaron who was laughing hysterically at the girl , she couldn't help but smile .
