The Pathways A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it. |
Early September still held warm days and this was one of them. The long legged third year was particularly excited about this. Summers were usually wet in Glasgow and the days the sun decided to shine Lulu made good use of her hours exploring the nearby parks. Today she was on a walk with an empty knapsack on her back. Last year she had discovered some mushrooms and interesting plants growing alongside the paths and different areas of the school grounds. She wondered if she could use them for potions and took Sir Robin with her. Not because she thought she needed a companion, seeing as a kleptomaniac black-footed ferret wasn't the greatest choice, but because Patterson didn't trust him to behave in the common room. Lulu kicked a pebble before a yellow flower caught her eye. From a distance it looked like monkshood enough but Patterson didn't know enough about flowers yet. She knelt in front of it and reached into her pockets for a pair of gloves. "Don't eat that, Nugget!" hissed Lu, swatting at her ferret when he sniffed the leaves of the plant. "I can't afford another of ye, if ye croak." |
Anyone for rp? Thank You William walks around the pathways. He hopes to find his friends or evwn new ones. |

"I've never seen one before." Ronnie said blushing. She sat down on the grass just off the pathway in case some one else walked by. "I'm Ronnie by the way...Well actually it's Veronica...but I hate that name." Ronnie realized she was going on about nothing important so she shut up and looked at the girl. Waiting to see if she was going to respond. |
BestieeeBabe <3 Anakin was sorta kinda TIRED of being holed up in the castle. As beautiful and serene as the place was, all he'd been able to think about the night before was when he'd be able to get OUTSIDE. Where it was pretty, and the weather was nice. So first thing that morning, he grabbed a yummy egg sandwhich from the house elves and headed down to the paths. Where it was nice and sunny and cozy. |
Berrin! Ah, the pathways. Evan had missed here... It had always been one of his favourite places, except for the spring time, when it was crowded with all kinds of bugs. But now, since it was getting cold and all, the unwanted creatures were gone, and he could wander around with a whistle and smile. Thus, with a football in his hand and in the blue outfit of Chelsea, he went for his small clearing, where he would be practising at today. He had to practise a lot, after all, and the early morning time was perfect for silence, when most of the people were sleeping and the rest having a long, weeked breakfast. |
Bissy couldn't sleep at all. She tossed and turned in the bed. Then, she got out of the bed and changed her clothes. Everybody in the dorm was sleeping so getting outside and taking some fresh air seemed perfect to her. She left the castle and started walking. There were pathways surrounded with trees. She headed towards them and thought it was a really nice place. However, she was shivering because of the cold breeze. After taking a few steps, she saw a boy walking ahead of her. He looked familiar to her and realised that he was Evan Cartwright. What a nice coincidence it was. She called out to him saying: "Taking a morning walk, Evan?" |
Quote:
"Not really, gonna play some football," he said, showing the ball in his hand. "How about you? Couldn't get used to the dormitories yet?" |
SPOILER!!: Evan She looked at the boy smiling. He was the warmest person she had ever met at Hogwarts, even warmer than Josh. Of course the lion boy couldn't be warm towards her when Evelyn clang him wherever he went. She didn't want to think about this matter. It'd be wiser to enjoy the clear and the fresh air. Playing football? Wasn't that the thing muggles play with a motionless ball? Yeah, probably it was. She approached the seventh year snake boy and said: "Isn't a bit early for practising?" They kept walking along the path. "I couldn't sleep well tonight and thought it's no use turning in bed so I got out to get some fresh air. And luckily I have found a nice company." she uttered beaming. |

SKIP.SKIP. SQUEAL. That was the pattern that seemed to occur when Minnie Petrov was walking errrr...SKIPPING somewhere. With a merry little smile on her face, she kept up with her squealing/weird humming thing. She smiled past a few students, radiating in their directions. She wanted them to like her and find her pretty and want to be friends with her. ^___^ Surely it was early in the morning but that didn't stop Minnie and her hyper antics. Only a truely SILLY person would think she wasn't NOT hyper at this time of day. esggrhgsfgsfgsd. SHE RAN INTO SOMEONE. :whaa: Pattern was RUINED. The little girl pulled back, wincing."I'M SOOOOOO SORRY, PERSON. I AM, I AM. I SWEAR I AM!" She squealed, worried look on her face. She couldn't help it, she was scared. D: Minnie smiled though, trying to look SOMEWHAT nice. |

The dark haired girl fell on her bottom when a voice startled her. She threw her gloved hands up, sending the soil clinging to the bulky fingers flying. "Pet?" repeated Patterson as she gathered her bearings. "Oh, you mean Robin?" inquired the girl pointing a gloved finger at the black-footed ferret sniffling around the unknown girl's knees when she sat down on the grass. "Sir Robin is a ferret but he's kinna special. He's a black footed ferret. They're kind of rare especially in these parts. Name's Lulu Patterson," said the girl finally, tugging a glove off and extending the uncovered hand to Veronica. "Nice to meetcha, Ronnie." |
Quote:
"He won't bite will he?" Ronnie asked blushing even more. She really didn't want to offended her. "It's nice to meet you Lulu." She smiled and took the extended hand shaking it. Ronnie fully sat down on the grass and crossed her legs Indian stye. |
Quote:
While Lulu tried removing the knapsack from her back, Sir Robin had bravely breached the distance between himself and Ronnie. He climbed up on one of her knees, observing her boldly with beady dark eyes. Lulu watched him for a moment before wrapping the small plant with some paper towels. "Reckon he fancies you too. Just like 'im, really. He fancies most people save me. He doesn't bite so it's okay to pet 'im, if you want. I wouldn't squeeze him or hug him, though. He's not much for hugs. He likes climbing shoulders and heads bettah." |
Mel :D With his hands stuffed into his pockets Finlay wandered down the pathways. He was still feeling totally hungry, but hadn't yet managed to get to the great hall. He was far too busy, and it was only the first day. If this was what the rest of the year was going to be like, then it was going to be very interesting. He was thankful for the apple that Sophie hd given him though, it had kind of made a difference to how hungry he had been. And he really was going to consider getting an magic alarm clock. It would be very useful. But at least he was awake now...for now at least. |
Quote:
"It's only the beginning of term." Mia muttered as she walked with a purposeful stride down the pathways, after the Head Boy. The beginning of term and already she was handing out advice. When she finally caught up with Finn, Mia gave him a hard poke in the back with her finger. Well to her it was hard but he probably wouldn't feel it. "So Mr Headboy, let's hear your side of the story." |
Quote:
"She said I was pushing her away." He shrugged, and continued on walking. "Then she dumped me. End of story." Kind of seemed worthless now. He hadn't seen Marie since, and part of him was pretty glad. He didn't know what he'd do if her saw her. He wasn't very happy about it. He didn't like getting dumped. It was happening far too frequently recently. "Do we have to talk about it Mia? I'm sure Marie's told you enough." |
Quote:
There had been about half a dozen questions on her lips. Like did he think he was pushing her away? And why did he give up so easily? And had he actually loved her? But those questions died the moment he said he didn't want to talk about it. Mia pursed her lips for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders also. "Fine, if that's what you want." she said and hurried to keep up with him. "I guess we can talk about me then. I kinda ran away from home." Yeah beat that Finlay. |
Quote:
But then Mia spoke again, and Finn eyed widened. "What?" He stopped walking again. "Why?" He looked concerned. What had made her run away? He had thought she was really close with her family. "Mia...?" He asked. He really was concerned. What had happened that had made her run away? |
Quote:
Of course she knew that would shock the crap out of him but she hadn't expected him to stop walking so abruptly and she walked straight into him. With a sheepish grin, Mia stepped back and looked up at him. "Had a fight with my dad." It still pained her to say that but she managed not to let it show on her face. Only her eyes betrayed her true feelings. "He lied to me Finn. He lied to me for sixteen and a half years." She folded her arms across her chest and stared up at the castle. "So I took off and stayed with Nik." Which had been great but she couldn't deny that she did miss her family especially her father. Unfortunately she was too stubborn to go back...yet. |
Quote:
Her father lied to her? Finlay frowned, rubbing her back gently. He wanted to comfort Mia. Make her feel better. "Mia...what about?" It would make him understand more if she told him, but he'd understand totally if she didn't want to tell him. Pulling back, he smiled at her. "You don't have to tell me...but I'm here if you want to talk about." |
Quote:
Mia leaned into him when he wrapped his arms around her and she took a few deep breaths to keep herself from crying. She had done enough of that over the summer. Poor Nik, had no idea what to do with her when she was blubbery mess. "Thanks." She heaved a deep sigh at his question and while Finn was her best friend..."I know. But right now I'm not up for talking about it." There were a few things she had to find out before she went into it. "When I am though, I'll come find you." It seemed they were now even on the not talking about things. "So how's the Headboy duties going?" |
Quote:
"Yeah, but can you see ANYONE around to bother me or hit the ball or whatever drama they want to do with a handsome prefect with a ball?" he asked, grinning. Nope, not even the birds were awake yet. After a little walk, he stopped as they were in a clearing now wide enough to have a one-goal match. Raising one eyebrow at her as she told she couldn't sleep, he wondered why she couldn't sleep well. She didn't seem to be the type to be home-sick... maybe she was ill? He hoped not, she'd better NOT be home-sick. "Why couldn't you sleep?" he asked with a concerned look as he set the ball on the ground, ignoring the 'nice company' comment. Being her prefect at the same time, he needed to identify and problems and solve them. |
Quote:
He was glad when she changed the subject. He motioned up the path. Did she want to keep walking? "They're not too bad." He smiled. He was enjoying it actually. |
So after the less than lovely almost meeting of the yearbook staff, Cassie finally ventured from the common room. She figured it really made little sense brooding over what happened and besides it wasn't like her to let what other people say get to her. Dressed in jogging shorts and tank, Cassie made her way to the path and proceeded to jog along, dark ponytail swishing behind her. For now she figured that it was best she put her efforts into getting ready for quidditch tryouts. As she jogged along the path she couldn't stop her mind from wandering back to a little look she received from a certain someone in the office, the memory of it made her smile. |
Mordred made his way down to the grounds after receiving a note from his best friend Chloe. He brought it with him to the pathways to re-read it again together with his father’s bamboo pan flute. Mordred was thrilled to see it tucked inside his trunk with his father’s note attached to it: Take care of this Mordred. Your mother and I figured you could use this to accompany you. Have a great term in Hogwarts. – Dad His father must’ve slipped the instrument inside Mordred’s trunk the day before he left for school. He knew how much music meant to Mordred, and he figured it could also be one of the few things his son would want to have during his first year as he adjusts to his new environment. Mordred then kept both of the notes inside his pocket, looked for a nice boulder to sit on, and began to play the flute. |

Since it was a nice day, with nice weather and everything, Helena decided to go for a walk. She had no idea where, but she wanted... needed to walk. To have a fresh mind, when the classes would start. She had a feeling that this term is going to be a bit more... let's say complicated, but just because she wanted it to be like that. So no complaining. But the girl suddenly stopped walking, because she was... kind of lost. Or... not? Maybe she had been here before, but probably when everything was covered by snow and of course, it looked totally different. Buuuut lost or not, it was the perfect place for a long walk. |
Quote:
"Serena." Mordred smiled as he acknowledged her presence. "Something I do to clear my head." he said as he raised the pan flute. "I see you have been sorted in Ravenclaw. Congratulations." he said as he noticed her wearing a blue tie. "What brings you here?" he asked. He was expecting her to be somewhere inside the Library studying. |

SPOILER!!: Evan “No I can’t see anyone but you.” She said grinning back. A handsome prefect, eh? Yeah, he was a prefect and he was cute and funny rather than handsome. And those were better characteristics to be in a friend as far as she was concerned. They kept walking until they reached a clearing. Oh, how beautiful that school was. There weren’t such beauties when she was at Durmstrang. There were just birch trees and oaks but at Hogwarts one could see each and every shade of green. The blonde girl sensed a pair of eyes lingering on her and she looked back at Evan. With a slight smile, she said: “It’s nothing to worry about, Evan. I just thought about some things and watched the ceiling all night long. Thanks for asking” It was very kind of him to ask her why she couldn’t sleep but Bissy was not in the mood to talk about those things as thinking of them was a bit painful for her. Then she joyfully said: “Very well then, Cartwright? Let’s practise” |

Ronnie reached over and pulled one of the backpack straps down for her. "Here let me help." Ronnie said, seeing that Lulu was struggling just a bit to get her backpack off. "So what year are you?" It was such a common questions around Hogwarts, what year, and before the term starts it's what house. But after you could see their house crest on their robes. Ronnie looke back down at the ferret. "Sir Robin you are adoreable. All I have for a pet is a kitten. Her name is Lily." Ronnie said and then began to look around for her. "She followed me out here, so she should be around her some where." Ronnie mentioned more to herself to Lulu. |

"Daisy?" Mordred said quite shocked. It was that girl. The one who looked like Chloe... Clearing his throat. He introduced Serena to her. "Serena, I want you to meet Daisy. Daisy, this is Serena." he said looking at both girls. "I'm doing good. How are you?" he asked Daisy trying hard not show his shock. |
Quote:
'Um - hi Mordred,' she said a little awkwardly. 'How are you?' she turned to the girl next to him, who Mordred was calling Serena and introduced herself. 'Hi, I'm Daisy.' |
Quote:
Raising one eyebrow, Evan shrugged at last. If she said so, it was it; he wouldn't insist on learning, even though he could see those 'things' were important. Then, returning her joy, he smiled hugely and said "Sure." Pausing for a moment to decide what to do, he asked "What would you like to do?" Sure, they had to warm up first and stuff... and normally, he had to first do some physical exercise and then play a match, but for Bissy he could change the order today. |
Jeanne decided to take a walk. She's very much tired on the first week of term and her head is aching quite a lot. It was her own fault for reading a whole book by one sitting. She didn't even eat too much dinner because of her silly book. She wants to be more prepared before the school start, that's all. Not that she wants to be part of the top but atleast she could better understand what the lessons are about. Ah, such a peaceful place. The trees are such a delight to see. It's nature. Nature is lovely. Jeanne then stopped and stared at one particular tree. It's quite beautiful that the rest. After awhile she took her journal notebook and muggle pencil. Yes, muggle pencil. It has been quite an interesting tool for Jeanne nowadays. It's very much a delicate, engineered tool. A much better substitution for a quill. Quills are just big and too fancy. Muggle pencils though, they can be carry almost anywhere and you don't need to find a place to put it. Looking at the tree, she started to sketch it. Now this is soothing. |
SPOILER!!: Evan Feeling pleased not to have been asked what those things were, she thought about the thing Evan had asked for a moment. She didn't know what to do actually as she hadn't played football before. She said timidly and with a smile on her face "Well, Evan, I don't know much about football so you tell me what to do. I'll obey your orders. You are the boss!" Then, raising her eyebrows, she looked into the snake boy's eyes expectantly. |
I can't wait for this RP.. lol Norlyn <3 Quote:
Luckily for him, walking on the pathway was a great idea. He's looking for Jeanne and now he founds her. Staring at the tree while writing--- or is that sketching on her journal? Jonathan ran over to her, careful this time that she wouldn't frighten her like last time. As he reached her he greeted "Jeanne" softly. Smiling a little bit though. Was he mad? Of course not. Was he annoyed of her? not really. Was he confused about Jeanne's actions? YES! He's right. She's sketching the tree in front of her. It was very lovely even though it's just a draft. Jeanne loves to draw, that what Jonathan likes about her the most. Admiring her sketching, he forgot what he wanted to do in the first place. Oh right! He shook his head and focused to Jeanne, "can we talk?" Jonathan said all of a sudden. He wants to know what's been bothering her. |
Quote:
"Football is played with a motionless ball," he started from the very basic, just in case. He HAD seen such an idiot--yes, NO other word could describe her--who didn't even know that. And then she had proceeded to ask 'how they scored if the ball was motionless'. Merlin! Thankfully, Bissy wasn't such a stupid girl. Or at least, she didn't seem to be. "In a normal match, there are 11 players from each team, and 4 referees. The ten men of each side can never use their arm. Except arm, touching the ball with every part is allowed." He grinned while saying that. He had loved it when Cristiano Ronaldo scored with his hip. Tehee. Of course, it was utter rudeness towards the other team, but still... it gave the people a good laugh. "Only one person can handle the ball, and that is the goalkeeper, responsible for avoiding the balls to get inside the goal. And he can only handle the ball inside the penalty area, that is, the rectangular area that indicates the team's... personal area. It is the most likely place for the goals to be scored." Though, some legends can score from 30 yards out. That was why they were legends, of course. "There are many more rules, of course, but these are the basics and the things you should know..." Pausing for another moment, he said "We'll practise passing, then, and if you wish we can play a short one-on-one game afterwards." |
LOL. Me too. Happy Birthday BTW Myka! <3 Quote:
She wasn't startled when Jonathan came to her and surprised her by saying her name. But Jeanne wasn't having a good feeling about how Jonathan have said his name. It was quite alarming even though it was said softly. What's wrong this time? Is he sad? Did he not get into the Quidditch team? What? What was bothering him? And then those words just came out all of a sudden 'can we talk'. That's scary. If Jeanne felt so tired awhile ago, this suddenly woke her up. Her eyes widen in confusion. What's he going to say next huh? What did she do this time? Because the way he said those words felt so alarming and angry at the same time. Did she do something wrong? Jeanne tried to calm down and asked "Okay, what do you want to talk about?" casually. She didn't want to get the wrong idea about it. Probably she's just being too paranoid about this. Maybe he's just wants the company. |
did you have to put that? LOL! Thanks though! Quote:
|
SPOILER!!: Evan Listening Evan with a continuous smile on her lips she kept nodding after his each sentence. He was so compassionate about that football thing. If he felt so, maybe it was a good pastime activity and it was worth learning. She said: "Thanks for informing me Evan. I have completely understood the basics you have told me. I'll do my best to learn it believe me." Not knowing whether it would comfort him -to hear that she had been playing Quidditch for three years at Durmstrang-, she kept that information to herself. "A little practice will make me better, Captain! So, let's begin and pass me the ball." *wink* |
Arabella-Marie skipped down to the pathways and smiled she was glad to be back at Hogwarts and hoped to make more friends soon |
Quote:
Was that his problem? Really, Jonathan? Are you sick or something? Sick of homework that yo decided to create this little festive drama of delusion to yourself. Why was he all like that all of a sudden? Jeanne can't put into words how she's feeling right now. pffsssh! "Since when have you been clingy?" Jeanne asked him with her eyebrow slightly elevated. Confused to what was Jonathan is mumbling all of a sudden. This is not a good conversation, in fact it's not even worth the conversation. "I can't believe you would actually say that." Jeanne felt just confused all of a sudden. Not knowing to punch the guy or to just go crazy. Something is definitely wrong with Jonathan. She's not avoiding him. she just had been busy reading lately, that's all. Since when was reading a problem anyway? |
Quote:
Arghh! Jonathan feels like bursting awhile. "I can't believe that you're acting in that way." he mumbled more words and didn't looked at Jeanne for awhile. He was serious about this--- very serious. "Clingy" he coughed. He kept repeating that word all over again and again in his head. he doesn't just get how suddenly he became clingy. Is there something wrong with just asking her, if there was something wrong? She's making this a nonsense fight. Not even worth it. "Fine! Since you don't want to talk about it anyway." He folded his arms and looked at Jeanne. If that's the way she wants it--- Jonathan not caring at all. Then he should. He turned his back from her and starts to walk away. |

Daisy had always been under the impression that all Slytherins were horrible, but Mordred seemed ok... |
Quote:
Maybe if he had...Eggy woulda been saved. Siiigh. But alas, one second Anakin was about to take a bit of his sandwhich and then BAM. Bye bye sandwhich, hello stumbling Anakin. Not that the figure was THAT heavy and had THAT much force. Anakin just...wasn't prepared. Sighing at the fallen food, Anakin turned slightly, just in time to catch the girl apologizing. Anakin just waved it off, giving a friendly smile. "Don't worry about it, s'all good. You alright?" 'Cause he'd feel bad if HIM standing in the way caused HER pain. However, he was kinda curious...."Erm? Might I ask why your so joyfully skipping so early in the morning?" |
Quote:
Smiling at her kind words, he nodded. Yeah, they shall begin now. Grinning at the word 'captain', he signalled her to get far a bit. Then, with inside of his foot pointing towards her, he hit the ball with medium hardness, enough to send it smoothly towards her. "When passing shortly," he said as he hit, "always use inside of your foot. Do NOT kick with the tip. That is only for shooting, because then you can't control the direction of the ball." They'd do that too, oh they would. And then they would kick with the outer foot as well. That was his favourite; it was a great way to send the ball in a curve. And he could do it. *insert smug face here* |
Quote:
He rummaged through his pocket and offered Daisy a chocolate frog. "I know you want it." he said grinning. |
Quote:
'Aaah, so your Mum was a slytherin,' Daisy said, which explained a lot to her, 'familys usually stick to their houses, my Dad and brother were Hufflepuffs too.' Daisy thought for a second or two, looking at Mordred, who still looked at her strangely, like he had done on the train. 'What is his problem?', she thought, 'I told him I wasn't Chloe...' Daisy was intrested to find out who this Chloe who looked so similar to her was. 'I haven't been in the common room much,' Daisy said, 'I've been doing quidditch practice most of the day, on my new broom. What about you? How long have you been playing your flute here?' |
Quote:
Mordred then looked at his flute. "Just now." he said. "Father placed it inside my trunk without me knowing." he smiled. "That reminds me, I have to find a new place to play my instrument. The Lake's too crowded, this place is starting to get crowded..." he trailed off as he scoped the place. "Right, I think I know where I can play in peace." he said as he thought of the garden and kept his flute. "So Quidditch. Which team do you support?" he asked. |

Audrey loved to take little walks. Especially when the trees have changed color. And when the air was perfectly warm. Today, it was walking time. As Audrey made her way down the path, she looked around. It's beautiful here at Hogwarts, she thought as if she just noticed. The tree next to her had beautiful colors of yellow and red on its leaves. To Audrey, it always looked like some sort of magic painted the leaves to the perfect color, to make the perfect look. |

She turned to Mordred and asked, a little snappily 'Can you stop staring at me please? I'm not Chloe and I'm never gonna be, so just leave me alone...' Daisy never meant to sound so cross, but she was known for her short temper when people ignored her or kept something form her, it just really bugged her, so she gave Mordred a slightly apologetic face once she realised how she had said it. |
Quote:
She stood for a moment, since she really didn't know where to go. Honestly, she was quite confused. Then, she noticed someone familiar, standing some distance away, who seemed to be stuck in the same situation as she was. "Helena!" she cried, before she could stop herself. Really, did she have to scream like that? But, she was glad to see her. |

Mordred hid his shock when Chloe snapped at him and went for the defense. "You'll never be Chloe, I know that very well." Mordred said almost in a whisper with sad eyes. Seeing Daisy get mad was like seeing Chloe get angry at him. Both girls don't know how much he misses his best friend and as much as he wanted to shout back at them, he thought it was best to just excuse himself. He held his right temple and said "Excuse me." and went off to the student's garden. |

POOR HIM. Minnie's brown eyes flickered down towards the sandwich before looking back up at the boy, the UNKNOWN boy that she suddenly felt very bad for. HE LOST HIS SANDWICH AND IT WAS ALL CAUSE OF HER. WHAT IF HE THOUGHT SHE WAS MEAAAAAAAAN?! Minnie didn't want THAT. However, before pouting and feeling all sad, Minnie figured it was best to offer some WISE advice."I wouldn't eatttt that now, SORRY. It'd probably have gross germs all over it. Gross germs that can get you SICK."The little blonde flailed. GERMS WERE ICKY. ICKY.ICKY.POO-POO. Poor sandwich infested with germs! Okay, well he didn't SEEM like he hated her. YAY HER."Am I okay? OF COURSE I'M OKAY. I'm fiiiiine, I'm STANDING. i didn't lose my POOR SANDWICH!"OH OVER DRAMATIC DRAMA QUEEN. That was REALLY only how one could describe Miss Minnie."Was it a good sandwich?"She mumbled randomly, looking at him wide eyed. If it was a BAD sandwich she'd feel less terrible. BUT STILL TERRIBLE. ....Was he questioning skipping? Minnie SCOWLED, crossing her arms."I think the question SHOULD be why aren't YOU skipping? It's not a bad day, no? The weather's nice. YOU SOUND BE SKIPPING JOYFULLY, YES!" BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM. |
SPOILER!!: Evan When Evan gestured her to go back a few steps, she did what she had been told. She stumbled on a stone while she was going backwards. She pulled herself together and smiled at Evan rather awkwardly. He must have been thinking that she was an idiot. Yeah, that was probable. *inner groan* Looking at how Evan passed the ball to her, she listened his instructions at the same time. Well she could do it; it seemed easy when she watched Evan do it. Yeah! OK! Use inside of your foot not the tip! “I hope I can do it. I don’t want to feel embarrassed anymore.” she thought. She took a step backwards then she hit the ball. It missed Evan’s foot a few inches. Was it good or bad? She didn’t know. She looked at Evan’s face rather timidly and inquiringly. “Well, what do you think of that? It was not good, was it?” she asked moodily. |

O_____o Did she really think he WOULD eat that now? He wasn't stuuuupid. But he couldn't get MAD at her for giivng helpful advice, EVEN if it made him feel like he was thought to be stoooopid. "Oh no, it's okay. I can get another one later. Thanks." Or he could just forget the sandwhich and actually go to the Great Hall for breakfast? That'd be smart too. ^___^ Blinking slightly, rather amused by the girl's rather exubarant replies, Anakin couldn't help but smirk slightly. "Well, good. It'd be bad if you like, propelled back or something." Mehhhh. It was okay, he wasn't going to harbor hard feelings over a sandwhich. "It's okay, there's plenty of food in the castle. I'll live without this one." Yup. Just hopefully a habit wasn't made of this. Then it might get a little irritating. Was it good? Anakin considering answering truthfully, but then decided against it. Maybe if he lied she'd feel better? "I've had better in my years." 15 years of life. Yup. HUH!? Why was he being SCOWLED at? BLANK STARE TIME. Anakin could only STARE at her, well more so than usual, but STILL. She was rather a fanatic about skipping wasn't she? "Well, er, I just mean...it's early...aren't you still tired?" Meh. Whatever. To each his own. Glancing at the girl, to the path, then back. Ani gave a small weak skip. Just one. Just to show he didn't HATE skipping. |
Elaine wandered around the grounds, with Happy on her shoulder. She had expected him to fly off as soon as they got outside, but no, the owl stayed with her as she wandered around. Maybe he had sensed her mood and stay with her to keep her company. She had been missing her brother of late, and she couldn't send him a letter because... well she didn't know where he was. He had yet to send her a letter telling her where he had travelled to and she doubted that his boss would tell her. Sighing she remembered what she had told him. 'I'll be fine, you know me I'm never upset!' It was true she never was, or she never appeared to be anyway. She felt Happy nibble on her ear and looked up. "I'm fine!" She smiled. "Go stretch your wings, you haven't flown in a while," and as if to convince him more she threw a treat far in front of her. Watching Happy fly off she sighed, her smile faltering. Elaine liked being alone sometimes it ment she didn't have to keep that smile in place all the time, that she could relax. She smiled around her brother all the time because she felt guilty, of being a burden, he had to take care of her since the age of sixteen. She smiled around her friends to keep them happy, cheer them up. She smiled around strangers because it was polite, and they might be having a bad day, or their life might be worst than her own. All in all she smiled because she had to, and sometimes, because she was happy. Elaine watched Happy fly around chirping cheerfully, and she smile weakly. |

Hitting it back at her again, harder this time, he shook his head fiercely. "No no, it was great!" he encouraged with a smile. "Only 1% of the passes are inch-perfect, maybe even less. I think it was very well for your first try." He winked at her. He wished his pass had missed her too, only for this time to show he made small mistakes too, but alas. He was too good for even an-inch miss. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...miley_smug.gif |

She kicked a stone on the ground then spotted her friend also on a stoll on the grounds. "Hey 'laine..." she said, hands in her pockets as she walked towards her. There she was her usual smiling self. Sometimes it could just cheer you up to see someone smile, even if it wasn't you. "Alright?" She kicked another stone and smiled at Elaine. Her blue hair really did hurt your eyes if you stared at it to long... :D |

"Hey Emenemily!" she laughed at her newly thought up nickname for her friend. "I'm good, you?" her ordeal with the letter really made Elaine worry about her,but Emily looked ok. She felt a breeze as Happy swooped down and landed on her head, he squawked at Emily and then flew off again. "I think that means hello too..." Elaine laughed watching her owl circle them from high above. |
SPOILER!!: Evan Hearing Evan’s encouraging words and seeing his encouraging smile, she felt OK. “Wow, thank you very much, Evan” she said smiling back. When Evan hit the ball, it was positioned right in front of Bissy’s feet so that must have been a perfect pass. She frowned and hit the ball again this time a bit harder but it was not different from the previous one. She looked up to see Evan’s reaction but he just hit the ball and she sent the ball back at the same moment. Even she didn’t know that her reflexes are so increased like that. After passing the ball at least ten times to one another, Bissy told self-mockingly: “Well, I think I have mastered that thing.” She smiled at Evan and then said: “Will you show me new things, Captain?” |

Mina strolled down the pathway toward the front gate once again. She had wanted to get a bit of fresh air and maybe run into a certain person or two. It had been a day or so since she had seem some of her friends. Knowing them, they were all probably off exploring or something. Coming into a small clearing, she heard a familiar voice and stopped. Along with the voice, she heard another she didn't know and stopped. Listening to the voices, she continued forward and peeked around a tree to see what was going on. Seeing Evan with the football, she smiled. They used to play around in third year and he had taught her a lot of the sport. |

After leaving the common room, Jordan needed some peace, and to feel the air of the cool autumn air. He went outside to the pathways and started to walk. Noticing several students were exploring the grounds too, he decided to keep going. Maybe he'd see some of his friends from other houses, maybe not. All he really cared about was that he was outside, and not jammed in a common room, "Thank God." Muttered Jordan to himself, jokingly. |

"First Impressions are Lasting Impressions." Jordan said jokingly to Samira while cracking a smile to her. |

"When do you suppose classes will start? I think they should be ready in a day or two, perhaps?" Asked Jordan to get his reminder of home off his mind. |

"Yeah they should be starting up pretty soon! Are you excited about a certain class in particular?" Nika asked. He probably new something about the classes. Most of the firsties this year did unlike Nika when she first came. That probably had to do with being muggle born though. |

Someone. Was. Screaming. Her. Name. ... The girl spun around quickly on her tiptoes, to see Viola. "Heeey!" Uhh she didn't scream, but her voice sounded as stupid and girlish-gigglish as it could sound. "I'm happy to see you," she said happily, grinning. |

Eh, it was just a knee jerk reaction to thank someone for doing something nice. But he was right in the fact that he was her friend and he was always there for her. Mia smiled up at him when he pulled away and she nodded her head. "But just know...I'm still your friend regardless of your split with Marie." And hopefully when he was feeling better he would be able to talk to her about it. She linked her arm with his and continued up the path with him. "So is it a lot more work than just being a Prefect?" |

When the girls were finally done hugging, it was Helena's turn to speak. "Good," she stated simply, grinning. "Better than I expected, actually." Because she was baaaack! And it felt good to be back! "How about you?" The girl asked cheerfully, then made a few steps further. She hoped Viola was in a walking mood, just like she was. And... you know, they had to enjoy every free moment they had left. Because Helena could already imagine a bunch of assignments screaming her name. |

Finlay laughed as she linked their arms together. Yup. They were so cool. "Well yeah....I have to make sure they do they're stuff too..." |
