Okay so definitely no chainsaw army. Unless...

"Oh my Godric!" She said the phrase chuckling. She never used it before, but she did here some other's use it. Maybe it would make her sound more wizardish. "You're right!" Shaw did say that didn't he. Phewph! Now that all of that worrying is out of the way Nika can sleep in peace.

She awkwardly kicked a pebble that was sitting by her foot as she searched her mind for something to say. Heh, she felt foolish. "Erm- sorry for accusing you Zara. I knew you were good all along."

Zara chuckled along with Nika. Finally she understood. Hihi.

"Told ya," she teased. "Hahah, it's all good." She said and winked. "So, er, now what?"

Okay. Back to walking to the Pitch. But, really, it's not like they were too far away anyway, so, she'll soon arrive for tryouts. She'll still be arriving before everyone else.

And he'd managed to get preoccupied about something else along the way. Awesome. Thanks Vindictus. The man should never leave Hogwarts again.

But there was that word again. Cute. Amusing how she also used it for either the letter or Conan's action of owling her. At least Treyen was in a somewhat good mood right now not to be bothered with the word. He cared very little for such a thing right now.

In all fairness, Conan was just an adorable little kid. Who was asking Ellie to help him with WHAT part of the homework, exactly? That was the little piece of information he was missing. "It's nice of you to help him out," that's when it occurred to him. The dancing part. If Conan wanted help for any of the activities, he could've asked HIM, not Ellie, but if dancing was involved, well, Conan wasn't going to ask Treyen to dance, right? He kept his theory to himself. "I didn't know he met you last year," because this was his second year, so, Ellie should've met him as a first year, no?

Interesting. How HE met Ellie, not how SHE met Conan.

"It wasn't like I could say 'no'," Ellie shrugged. She'd said that already, but that was when Treyen, apparently, wasn't listening. But, seriously, Conan was just too cute. He might be extremely odd and frustrating and stubborn, but he was adorable. And that he'd think of asking her to help him...well...that was too cute.

Uhm, no. "I met him in Diagon over the summer." He had looked so lost. "He was looking for a bookshop." Silly boy. Looking for books. Pffft.

Of course, Ellie wasn't much help to him.

Actually, that reminded her that she needed to talk to Little Professor. Because asking people was so much better than researching. You even got an answer faster most of the time.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Emmy said sympathetically. "I know what you mean. When my brother left for the university last year, I hardly ate for a week because I missed him so much. But I've been doing pretty well, thanks. You live with your Uncle?" She asked, just realizing that he said he missed his uncle, not dad. Hmm..... Interesting.

"Yes I do have to apologize. Mom would be upset with me if I didn't?" He replied. He didn't reply to the part about her being annoying. He was too nice to say so, but yes she had been. He sighed and let her pull him to his feet. "It does get a bit much. Like when people I don't know talk about seeing and loving me in their dreams." He replied sadly. That episode back in the common room had rattled him badly. He hugged her tight for a moment then Crouching into position, he said "Ready, Steady, Go!" And he took off leaving her behind calling back behind him, "Come on slow coach!"

Kyle nodded as Caroline asked if she kept a diary, well she did it was small and she hadn't written in it for a long long while. "I did, for a while...haven't writen in it since the first week of school when Ginger ran off to the Gryffindor table...the last thing I wrote was that it seemed Ginger really liked Simon" she chuckled. Thinking of the kitten who was a little bit larger now - and was probably ripping up the curtains on her foreposter bed, or trying to eat someones niffler. Silly cat.

"Yeah now sounds good - you want to, we could...run, jog or something - and I can try to teach you to swim...heck I'd even ask Simon or one of our other friends not included in the divinations-mess-thing today to help...does Carter swim himself?" Kyle asked gently, not wanting to pry but if they needed to they could start swimming classes.

"Interesting! I'd love to go there some time. What did it turn into when you went there last night?" Tayla asked.


Tayla noticed the hesitation in Nika's voice. "Don't wory," she said bracingly. "There's a classroom open for practicing Charms right? Maybe we can go there sometime and practice together."


"I'm coming!" Tayla called after William. She waved to Zara and Nika. "You girls coming, too? We're going to the Whoming Willow." Tayla grinned with an excited twinkle in her eyes.

Huh? "Did you want to?" say no, of course. Because she didn't have to help Conan, truth be told, she could've said that she didn't have the time, or that she'd rather not. Easy. And Conan would've understood.

In Diagon Alley, eh? That's the same place Treyen met him. Or rather, the same place were Conan had saved him from embarrassing himself at Ollivander's to ask for a second wand. Perhaps his attachment to the boy was closely related to that incident.

Looking for a bookshop? Hahahaha. Funny. Clearly, Conan had no idea who he was asking that question to. Treyen had been far more successful before his first year. He even managed to get a book from a dear Slytherin. "That's actually hilarious, considering you stay away from books," or the Library. One reason for them not to meet more often, because he enjoyed being in the Library. Not Madame Donovan, she was scary.

Hold on. Over the summer? That reminded him, "Hey, what did you do over the summer?" they were getting closer and closer by the minute, and he actually wished that the time would stop, but Ellie was probably looking forward to Quidditch, no?

Mmmm. "No? I mean, why would I? I would've needed a partner anyway." And Treyen hadn't asked. Then.

Hehe. "I know, right? I've probably only been in the bookshop once or twice." In her whole life. Ellie probably wouldn't even know the name.

That was her and Conan's first disagreement of their meeting. Whether books were useful or not. They really weren't. Really.

Ohhh summer....Yeah...That. "I stayed with my cousins...for...for too long." Hence why she was ill practiced as far as Quidditch went. "It wasn't all bad, I suppose," Yes, yes it was, "I learned some muggle stuff. Rode a roller coaster..." Which was really unimpressive.

"But then," this was where she smiled, "Little Professor and I went on adventures!" Totally the most epic part. "And then I got some flying in." Some, but not nearly enough.

"What about you?" Aside from going to the Quidditch World Cup. She knew that. THOUGH, she always liked details...incase there was even more to be said on the subject. But, she knew he was staying in England for most of it. The summer, that is.

Right. Well, that was good, he supposed, "Thanks for pointing out that I failed to ask you sooner," he said, adding a chuckle after that. If he would've asked yesterday, then many things wouldn't be the way they currently were, no?

You know what? Despite the terrifying parts that he was sure were coming, and the little panic attacks from before, he was still glad that things had turned out to be the way they were. So, thank you Vindictus, and thank you Conan, for making it all possible.

Seriously, his smile was kind of gone. He valued books too much. It was all that he had left from Gilderoy, after all. And the fact that Ellie wouldn't even go near them...was just...truly awful. But it didn't truly matter.

Wait a minute.

His eyes were on her, "So, you had a Muggle summer," he smiled, he'd had an amazing time over all his Muggle summers, which is why he didn't understand Ellie's expression, "You didn't have fun?" be HONEST, Eliana.

Professor Descoteaux? For a moment there, Treyen thought that Ellie was talking about a children's book. 'Little Professor and I went on adventures'. Totally a suitable title for a children's book. "I didn't know you were so close." And the man was not even on Treyen's list of cool people. Well, maybe he was, at the bottom of it.

It was his turn to answer. Didn't he answer that question already, "Well, besides the World Cup and sneaking into a couple tents to get your autographs...," that was all she was going to know about that story, for now, "...I spent some time with Rae, you know, Fletcher's girlfriend, and we built a tree house...the Muggle way...," like, without magic, because he still couldn't use magic over the summer, how annoying, but it had been entirely fun, "...I also stopped by Luxembourg with Aaron, and the rest was at the beach," he said, a smile was on his lips again. The beach was...still home to him. Amazing.

" I will wait for all of you" William told Tayla. " the Whomping Willow is scary but fun" William said to Tayla. " Thanks for coming with me" William smiled.

The blonde crossed her arms across her chest as well and followed him, a few steps behind, listening to every word he said. She sighed and decided just to listen. That's what friends did.

"Yes I do want to know. Your one of my close friends and I still consider you one. Even if you don't consider me one.." she said, her voice wobbling at the last bit.

Emma's mouth fell wide open and her features on her face softened. Wow- She felt... like a jerk. "What? No. It couldn't.. I'm so sorry to hear that Alexbear. I really really.. truly am. That's terrible.. It reminds me of what my ex boyfriend did to me, except it wasn't with my best friend. " she explained. How could Chadler be so mean? And Ellie to? Using her best friend? The blonde blanched a bit as he admitted he had feelings for Ellie. Emma had feelings for Alex And Braeden. Cough. This was... a disaster wasn’t it?

“Alex. I know this may sound harsh but if she was going after your best friend than she isn’t worth it- no matter how much you love her. Sometimes you have to let people go. I know it probably sounds ridiculous. ” she explained. Bothering her with this!? “No, no, no, your not!” she exclaimed and gave him a hug. “You still have me. And you’ll always will. I thought you were leaving me for Ellie and Chandler. Fee felt the same way as if you had forgotten us. But I secretly hoped that you wouldn’t, cause I believed in you. I still do. You’re my partner and my Alexbear.”

Teeheehee. "You're welcome. Buuut," dramatic pause, "You know we don't need silly homework assignments to dance," Ellie smiled. Mhm. It had happened before. And there was no need to dance then.

She was watching him, from time to time, out of the corner of her eye as they walked. And, yes, she saw his smile after he said 'muggle summer'. SHE, however, was not smiling. "You make it sound like it's a good thing..." Which, really, right now, she didn't agree with. "Do you realize I could have spent that time practicing? But instead, I was playing board games. The pieces don't even move themselves! AND I had to learn to shuffle cards."

It. Was. Awful. There were PAPERCUTS. THOSE things hurt worse than Bludgers to the stomach.

Ellie pretty much avoided papercuts. Splinters, sure. But she didn't really go near paper too often. It wasn't like she read or anything. She barely ever took notes in class. Heh.

Little Professor was a much better subject. "He invited me." Which was her way of saying...she didn't know they were that close, either. But now she did. And she loved it.

Didn't he want to know what kind of adventures they went on? Did he? Huh? Hehehe.

She nodded as he spoke of the Cup. Yes, she did know that part. And...HEH. BEAM. The autographs. BEAM.

No...she didn't know Rae...BUT she knew Fletcher. And APPARENTLY he had a girlfriend and APPARENTLY her name was Rae. Got it. And they....what? Really? They built a treehouse. If he wanted a treehouse, there was one right here...on the grounds... Really.

More nods. Luxembourg with Aaron..."Who's Aaron?" By the way. He's mentioned him...a few times, but, Ellie was left hanging when it came to details. For all she knew, he could be one of Treyen's brothers that he pretended didn't exist until now.

And beaches...were niiiiice. "Sounds good. Fun." At least, the very first part and very last part did. She wasn't so sure about the middle.

OHOHOHO, time to get physical now. Heather took a deep breath and tried to stretch before running those 8 kilometers Lord Borr assigned as one of the tasks in their DADA homework. She took a deep breath. "How long is 8 kilometers anyway? I can't even tell how far that is...." she sighed. Just running would be good, right? "Okay." she said to herself. "Here i go!"

Arabella-Marie wandered down to the pathways and saw Heather and said "Hey Heather what are you up to"

Heather was about to run when someone called her. She turned around to see Arabella, and a smile was painted on her face. "Hi Arabella." she said. "Oh, i was about to run 8 kilometers for the DADA homework." she sighed. "I don't know how long that is, but i really want to get this over with...hey...how would you like to join me? that is...unless you were done with those 8 kilometers..."

Arabella-Marie thought and said "Yeah well i will run with you but it will have to be out of my shoes i don't have my trainers with me and i am waiting on my owl to return with my trainers to me"

Alex frowned slightly, even if he didn't consider her as a friend? Of course he did, what had gotten into her head?

He nodded his head and shrugged, he really didn't have anything else to say. It was terrible but there wasn't really anything he could do. "She wasn't going after him." he said. "It wasn't like they did anything and Chandler wouldn't do that to Kai, he loves her more than anything." And why was he defending them again? Because they were his best friends and always would be? Right. He shut his mouth and decided to stay quiet instead. When she gave him a hug he smiled and hugged her back. He'd missed her. "Thanks." he murmured. "Partner." he added. "I didn't forget about you guys, I got a girlfriend and for once I got a good male best friend. Fee and you are like my sisters and that will never change." he assured her with a nudge of her side.

"It's easy to say let her go but it's hard." he mumbled. He had feelings for her over a year before they officially started dating. "And I want to forgive Chandler, I really do, I mean technically he didn't do anything wrong but..." he frowned and scraped his shoe on the ground slightly. "It's hard to look him in the face when I know he is the guy Ellie wants." he added low.

Heather nodded her head. "okay then. I'll wait for you." she said. she then dug through her pockets for two chocolate frogs. "you want some? "she offered to her friend.

Why did Lord Borr assign us such ridiculous homework? Viola thought. Were they training for the Olymics or something? Geez. 5 miles? Viola wasn't sure she would be able to make even half a mile. Sigh. She liked to run. She really did. But, she couldn't do 5 miles. That is, 8 kilometers! She groaned. She's got to do this for the rest of the term. How terrible! Anyway, there definitely was no point in grumbling. Viola took a deep breath and...she was off.

After catching a glimpse of the DADA announcement on the Slytherin notice board, Jamie put on his jogging outfit and decided to go for a run through the grounds. Despite the fact that FIVE miles was a ridiculous amount to run for a short, stumpy fellow like Jamie, he was really enjoying participating in the school life. As opposed to being home schooled.

Running down the pathways was nice and calming. As he did so, he noticed a familiar face and grinned madly. "Violaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" He called, speeding up to catch up with her pace. "You having a run, too!?" They should, like, RUN TOGETHER.

Oh.

"I'm Jamie, by the way. In case you forgot." That would be embarrassing. It was embarrassing even having to remind her, but he had to make sure she remembered before continuing.

Wisteria smiled still holding William's hand. "Fee-" she restated, "That's a really nice name." She stood up to formally greet her, she couldn't help herself that's what she's been taught. "Would you like to sit with us?" Witsy sat back down leaving room for Fee next to William. "How are have you been?"

" Thanks for asking Fee to sit with us" William told Wisteria. " Fee has a boyfriend named Hugo, who I did not get along with for awhile" Wiliam said to Wisty." So how do you like classes?" William asked Wisty. he held her hand tight.

OMG! Who was that? Calling out her name so loudly that probably the whole school could have heard it. Viola was running but she slowed down to a jog and turned around. Is that Jamie? Self-obsessed Jamie? She grinned. "Hi there. How have you been? Oh yes, I am." Viola said, panting a little. And, she was kinda enjoying it. She loved the feel of the breeze on her face. It felt awesome.

"Yeah, I did kinda forget." Viola increased her pace a little. "Thanks for reminding me." She grinned. Okay, she was starting to feel a bit tired but no. No way. She wasn't going to stop until she finished running a mile. Okay, half a mile. "So, have you started with the other tasks as yet?"
