“Alex. I know this may sound harsh but if she was going after your best friend than she isn’t worth it- no matter how much you love her. Sometimes you have to let people go. I know it probably sounds ridiculous. ” she explained. Bothering her with this!? “No, no, no, your not!” she exclaimed and gave him a hug. “You still have me. And you’ll always will. I thought you were leaving me for Ellie and Chandler. Fee felt the same way as if you had forgotten us. But I secretly hoped that you wouldn’t, cause I believed in you. I still do. Alex frowned slightly, even if he didn't consider her as a friend? Of course he did, what had gotten into her head?
He nodded his head and shrugged, he really didn't have anything else to say. It was terrible but there wasn't really anything he could do.
"She wasn't going after him." he said.
"It wasn't like they did anything and Chandler wouldn't do that to Kai, he loves her more than anything." And why was he defending them again? Because they were his best friends and always would be? Right. He shut his mouth and decided to stay quiet instead. When she gave him a hug he smiled and hugged her back. He'd missed her.
"Thanks." he murmured.
"Partner." he added.
"I didn't forget about you guys, I got a girlfriend and for once I got a good male best friend. Fee and you are like my sisters and that will never change." he assured her with a nudge of her side.
"It's easy to say let her go but it's hard." he mumbled. He had feelings for her over a year before they officially started dating.
"And I want to forgive Chandler, I really do, I mean technically he didn't do anything wrong but..." he frowned and scraped his shoe on the ground slightly.
"It's hard to look him in the face when I know he is the guy Ellie wants." he added low.
