The ancient schooner stands tall in the dark water, although there is a definite list to the mast and sails that belie its age. After all these years hidden in or around the lake, the ship is in remarkably good condition, although the lower decks drip with water and something rather green and slimy. If not for the age and apparent solitude of the ship, it would appear the crew had just departed, even going so far to leave the gangplank lowered to provide access to the main deck.
The main deck is cluttered in a way no captain would approve. Bits of knotted rope, lank strands of the shredded sail, and abandoned cannon balls that seem to have taken root to the deck would have tripped up a sailor in bygone days. They are the only artifacts left of those hearty men now. A rope ladder twists uselessly in the rigging - wonder if the crow's nest can still be reached?
Just a few steps above the main deck, the steering wheel is knotted into place with a moldy length of rope. It's impossible to know where these sailors were headed, but they've been sailing in one direction for a very long time indeed. Propped against the railing behind the wheel is a marlinespike, a nasty pointed thing that was someone's weapon or tool... or both.
Beneath the quarterdeck, a gaping doorway leads to the captain's quarters. Decrepit maps, a rusted quadrant, and a compass sit on the captain's desk, but the most interesting artifact is probably the old tricorne hat propped against the chair. Wherever the man went, his head is bare. The bed and wardrobe in the corner could give you more clues about the man who lived here, but the best clue is the log book folded closed on the chair - Captain's Log for the Dead Wizard's Trove.
Below the main deck, you will find the hold and sailor's quarters. Kegs of powder are scattered with a few ancient gold coins, Galleons by the look of them, but there is no further indication as to what the ship once carried. Was the ship a merchant ship? Privateers? Or pirates?
Sierra hated when people used certain terms of endearment for her. It made her feel like a little child, which she definitely was not. She may only be twelve, but she wasn't two. In the darkness of the ship, she eyed the older Slytherin. She didn't say much, though, because he'd sort of redeemed himself with the Puffer comment.
Hmm...what to think of you, Connor?
"You know," she said, looking first to Connor and then to the others in their group, "I'm sort of all for finding a way out of this ship, too." She'd came, saw, and sort of conquered, and now she was kind of ready to just head back. "Let's just see where going left leads us to first." She pointed her wand in the left direction and started walking.
She looked at Treyen, thinking maybe he was about to ask something else about she and Alex, but he never did. Down here in the darkness of the ship, she felt confident enough to let her guards down just a little, and she gave him the tiniest of appreciative looks. He'd agreed with her about heading left, and left they were already heading, so she let talk of Alex drop, too.
...and then there was another outburst from Lola.
"Lola!" Sierra snapped, for what felt like the nine millionth time. "If you're going to cling to me like some leech, then at least take things down a notch or two. You know, maybe to a dull roar instead of a yell?" The dramatics didn't stop, though. Sierra rolled her eyes and released a soft sigh. "You know, Lola? The very best thing you can do for our friendship right now...is to just be quiet."
She was starting to get a headache.
Hey, hold on a minute.
"Where is Conan?" he suddenly asked, feeling terrified of the fact that he had no idea where the little Huffie had gone off to. This was happening too much lately, and he didn't enjoy it.
Treyen counted heads, and there seemed one little head was missing.
Sigh. "You know what, I'll be heading back to look for him, you guys...just...go ahead, okay?" he said, with one nod that could be visible to everyone because he over did it.

Oh okay, uhm. Why did she come on the ship?
"I was curious..." And familiar people were on it. And she didn't want to be left out, obviously. "And you?" Similar reason, she'd presume.
SIGH. Ellie SIGHED. With relief. And she GLARED at Lola. It was SO NOT funny to joke about a 'boom' on a ship that was obviously falling apart.
_____
...She needed to stop calling him 'Train', this girl. Seriously. Ellie couldn't fathom a guess as to why he just let it be. That was degrading, no? To be called a mode of transportation? Or that leftover fabric on the back of a wedding dress? Though, the former was a lot more masculine.
Eye roll. "There was NO boom. TreYEN said so." So...HMPH.
Merlin. Was she 'boom'ing now? No. Like Ellie would really believe her now.
Eye roll.
Nod. Jacob. Yes, Jacob was a good pirate, wasn't he? Er, Captain! Sorry, Captain. Ha.
Her reason for coming on the ship, was the same as many others, perhaps. Then again, Lola had wanted to befriend the ship, perhaps there were others as crazy as to come for the same thing.
And, his reason wasn't so different, really, "Oh, I followed Vindictus here," he said, without thinking, and it totally sounded like he was stalking the man, but, yes, he'd followed the Quidditch dude, "I mean, he looked suspicious, so I joined him," that was far better. Making Vindictus look guilty somehow.
He noticed that she'd said his name as a way of trying to correct it. But he was pretty sure that Lola wouldn't notice, really.
Right now he was only worried of Conan, and he breathed before taking Ellie's hand again, only to get her attention this time around, "Would you come with me to look for Conan?" she could still keep on going with the others, though, even if he didn't trust Lola as much.

Embarrassing if that happened on a boat that he was on. And he was on board too and would probably here and that would be even more embarrassing as he'd know that what Hannah had hinted to was true. "Maybe, I'd rather love finding a Parot - I'd probably try and see if it talked...or what language it talked - maybe they could tell us about the ship" one could dream couldn't they? "Don't think i'd want to test whatever's left in the Kitchen...could be," she shuddered "disgusting" and it probably was.
She walked over to where everyone was heading down below deck, and smiled. It would be nice to head down there right? She thought as she looked down into the darker area, wipping out her wand she cast the light spell sending the orb out ahead of her as she had learned a few years before at Beauxbatons. It was dark, and she still couldn't see well. What was down there? She thought gulping slightly.

Just because of the I'll tell you later was enough indication to her that he was part of her story. "Okay, I want to hear the details." She giggled and winked
She was tossing the cannonball lightly in her hands, When, hey! did he just take her cannonball? but that was her cannonball. Oh, yeah that maybe unsafe and verry dangerous. She had no desire to be carried to the hospital wing again becasue of an injury to her foot or that case ankle."Yeah, you're probably right." She frowned and decided that they should go and explore something else besides the deck.
Below sounded nice until Carter mentioned the kitchen and asked what kind of food did pirates eat. Leave it to Carter to bring up food anywhere they went. "I don't know, but I don't think that they ate cheesecake. Sorry babe." She teased. That boy was obsessed with three four things her chessecake, football, and quidditch. They would have to go to the kitchens so she could make him her special smores chessecake one day. Enough talk of cheesecake she was getting hungry now.
Shrugging "I wonder what else is down here?" She asked as she followed Kyle down below deck.
Carter gently set the cannonball down. Which, was ridiculously heavy. He'd take a bludger over it any day.
Now that that was taken care of... they would be free to explore.
"Ehh... you're probably right..." he said sadly. They really should have packed a picnic for this event. "I'm still curious as to what they ate." He chuckled as Caroline said they probably didn't eat cheesecake. She knew him well. Maybe a little too well.
He followed after Kyle. He too lit his wand with a "lumos." He held Caroline's hand a little tighter. He didn't want her to trip or slip on anything down here.
"You see anything interesting down there?" he asked Kyle, who was in the lead. Like Simon perhaps?

She chuckled as she listened to what Caroline and Carter were talking about, yeah this would be interesting. The whole discussing what pirates ate thing - that sounded like fun. But what did they eat? A lot of fish probably because there probably wasn't all that much food when it came down to it.
When Carter's light mixed with her's she couldn't help but gulp. Oh boy he was making fun of her wasn't he? Maybe him finding out wasn't the best of ideas? She thought and had to stifle a laugh.
"Oh, interesting maybe?" She remarked with a chuckle, there was loads of debris for one. "I do have to say theres loads of well...stuff on the ground" she took a careful step over a large pile of 'stuff' she couldn't even tell what it was but she was glad for one that it wasn't moving. That would have been shudder inducing if it had. Taking another step forward she realized that the thing that was her height was a human. And that Carter was indeed making fun of her.
Grrr. But she had to smile, since now, she could briefly make out the shape that she thought was Simon's...but not being sure she wasn't going to just say his name and ask him. What if she said something awkward like you are pretty? God that would be embarrassing. She'd try and 'carefully' run off and not being able to get away in time knowing her luck and would have to be confronted and maybe that wasn't all that bad of an idea but no, no no not now not like this not in a room filled with people in the shadows.

Salander held his Gryffincess close to him, not caring if she gets snot paint all over his clothes. She was upset, and he was too, but her welfare was all he could think about right now. "Ivan will apologize when he's up to it Luv, and if he never gets around to that....." he shrugged as he let that statement trail off. The Slytherin lad did try to bridge the gap and whatever he did didnt seem to work. He figured they can only past their difference when the Ravenclaw was darn good and ready, but in the meantime, this Slytherin would be going about business as usual.
He moved out of the hatch's way, not wanting to be around in case some buffoon ends up falling down through it, carefully leading Lexi further into the bowels of the ship.
As he peered back into the darkness he recast lumos and can see the Simon, Treyen and the rest of the group wandering (and bickering) further on. Nearing the Hufflepuff Prefect, the Slytherin lad murmured quickly what he wanted to tell the boy before the ruckus "You've got a good point, about other sailors boarding this before us, but then they may have another ship with them thats even better than this, or that they have a limited number of crew that they cant spare on a second boat. Would be best to just take the cargo and leave the ship be." And he spared a glance at the younger Slytherins, Sierra and the bubbly one that everyone seems to be calling Lola, and now that boy Connor that seems to harangue Kurumi. Yes he recognized the boy, even in the dark. When something matters to Salander, he can have a pretty good memory. Wary eye falls on this one, but he leaves the younger lad be.
He spots Simon and treads their path to rejoin him, when he saw the Gryffie Captain turn around to hear a new set of voices descend the hatch. They seem familiar to him, he just couldnt recognize them instantly from where he stood. He turned back to Lexi and brushed her pink-streaked hair off her loveliness "You want me to clean you up, I've gotten pretty good with Tergeo." cue sheepish grin.

Christopher completely understood. If that man (if you could even call him that) wasn't just horrible in personality and actions. His face was so..... mutilated. His eyes were a bright scarlet, slitted nostrils..... The lion shuddered with her. It was hard not to.
"Oh..... We're..... Erm....." The young boy didn't know how to describe how he and Violet were. They got along just fine, but with Selina's cousin Nathan trying to rip them apart, he wasn't sure how long it would last. Any of it. He attempted to describe it to Elektra, but he wasn't so sure how that would go over, so he ended up doing the best he could.
"It's a little complicated."
She watched him hesitate to answer her uestion about him and Violet. Oh, this didn't look good. She raised her eyebrow at him knowing that he was trying to hide someting, but she didn't say anything to him. All she did was nod. "Hmm, I see. Complicated huh?" She put her hands up. "I won't even ask because how Violet can be a little complicated at times."

"Well we ourselves are fine, but there's just another guy who likes Violet. A lot. And he doesn't really want me in the picture. But she doesn't really believe me whenever I tell her. She probably just thinks I'm jealous..." He muttered the last part, glaring at the floor. She probably did think he was jealous and just accusing Nathan of liking her. Which really wasn't true. He wasn't the jealous type, but he did have a problem with some guy, and older guy, trying to steal Violet away from him. Especially not when it was their best friend's cousin. And Selina almost wanted to help Nathan with Violet. It was all so confusing and frustrating for Christopher.

Blinking she took another step forward, feeling suddenly more and more brave. "Blimey this place needs a good cleaning" still, as she couldn't help but smirk at the accent. The french accent was beautiful, feiry, and enchanting.
"Hey Salander," she smiled over to him, glancing around the room. She loved the feeling of confidence that had washed over her as she walked closer to the people in the shadow. It was Simon! She blushed when she saw him, still, she had less of a chance to not tell him she thought his earings looked nice well he did in general. Not pretty that wasn't the right word...but good? No, handsome maybe?
She had to kick herself in the back of the leg to stop herself from actually out right yelling it. It only caused her to yelp in pain. Man she really couldn't handle pain now could she?

Caroline added the light from her wand, which kind of helped a bit more to at least see where they were going. She smirked at Carter or myabe she should have kicked him, because at moment she was thinking the same thing he was. They knew who what she was looking for below deck because he it wasn't on deck.
She followed Kyle and Carter down below deck. She could hear voices just a bit in front of them, but couldn't make out who they belonged to. "You see anything?" She asked and Kyle replied that that was stuff all over the floor. Oh Merlin she hoped that Kyle would fall or trip over the things in the floor. She really could be much of the floor for the thing laying around. She gripped Carters hand back so she wouldn't slide on something. "Watch you feet Kyle." Although that may not be the best advice if she watches her feet she may run into something.

She glanced back at Caroline and smiled, softly. Still, her whole self felt more confident and less and less clumsy by the minute. Maybe, just maybe she had grown into her over-sized feet? Shhe considered looking down at them. Still, she had the strange urge to ask if anyone needed help or to walk up to him and flirt.
Why? She wasn't a harlet or anything close to that she was nothing like that. She was a kind person not a flirty mcflirts a lot.
"I'll be fine, and don't worry Caroline I don't think I'll fall again today...or I hope not" she smiiled softly. Turning towards Simon she glanced over him. "So, find anything interesting down here yet?" She asked both Simon, Salander, and Lexi as they had been down here longer than her.

Ronnie loved this ship. Over the course of the time now, she had learned just about everything she could (at least she thought she did). She smiled when she looked around and thought for some odd reason it felt like home. She looked around at all the people on the ship and was found her self searching for the 'captian'. Ugh...she did NOT want to be on a crew...so why was she searching for the captain.
"Ahoy there!" Ronnie said shouting at who ever it was near her.

Wait? Lisping when did that happen from? She thought her eyebrow raising slightly. She smiled to both Lexi and Salander, "Well...I have to say that does sound tempting - its shiny blimey that is a lot of gold" she said as she looked down at the floor.
The sudden cross look of shock as she said a word she hadn't used since she was five years old and had gotten mad at her sister. Still, shockingly the thing that caught her eye was a sword that was on the ground.
It was light weight looking almost like a rapier...thankfully the words Lexi and Sal had said brought her back to reality. Hungry. Yes hunger wasn't a good thing. It was then, that she realized she had an apple in her bag. It would have been nice to have her bag - which was in the dorms with her right then...but she had a sudden urge to use that apple not for food but for more sport...She wanted to get someone's attention.
And that made her want to hurl herself off the plank and well not have to deal with that 'sudden desire'. What was with her these days. Quickly she summoned the bag that was full of more than one apple...she had had a plan on going to the treehouse and taking notes...and a nice healthy snack sounded like a good plan to her. "Well, i'm sure whatever grub the house elves come up with will fill ya" did she just say ya? Ugh. She hated herself today she was clumsy, almost told Simon about you know - and that would have been bad, and had a strange urge to clean the ship to see what it would've been like in its prime. And to take the sword and play sword-fight someone...because after all fake-sword fighting would be fun...but could be dangerous.

Tayla couldn't wait to get into the ship. She didn't mind being alone. She'd been wondering about it even before she got on the Hogwarts Express. And now was her chance to do some exploring.
She let her eyes take in the whole ship before finally setting her foot on the plank and crossing it to reach the main deck. Every step she took caused the old and damp wood to creak.
"Cool..." she thought excitedly.
Tayla walked carefully over the ropes and things scattered on the deck, and then went up to where the steering wheel was. She let her finger go through it, but only for a second. "Ew!" she said and chuckled. The wheel was slimy to the touch.
A sharp object caught her eye. She didn't dare touch the point, but it did look very interesting. She was getting more and more curious about the story of this ship.
Hoping to satisfy her curiosity, she continued exploring. Eventually she found a doorway to a room. "This might be where the captain stayed," she said to herself. An amazed smile was plastered on her face as she stared at the maps, an old compass, and an odd hat on the chair behind the desk.
Tayla moved closer to the chair, and then found an old book on it. "Captain's Log for the Dead Wizard's Trove" she read slowly. Her fingers were itching to open it, but as she reached out for the book, she heard a creak behind her. She pulled her hand back and looked around, "Who's there?"

Zara smirked as she quickly found a hiding place. Yeah, she was sure Tayla'd never notice. Really sure. She stayed still for moments, her breathing as silent as ever, careful not to alert Tayla again.

Tayla bit her lip. She could've sworn she heard something. But this ship was kinda creepy. She may have just imagined it. And even if she didn't, it wouldn't be a surprise if there were creaking sounds once in a while, with a ship this old.
Tayla turned back to the book and again slowly reached for it's cover. She opened it and stared down at the names and messy handwriting.
After a while, her head jumped up once more. She left the book open and looked around the room. A tingly feeling run down her arms and neck. It was as if she was being watched.
Tayla took out her wand and squinted at every corner, and then at the open doorway. Breathing hard and feeling excited in spite of herself, she was ready to run if she needed to.
"Nope, I haven't been inside at all. I just wanted you to come at the same time with me", he answered with a smile.
Aww Cody was so cute! Jade looked at Cody and smiled at him. Jade went up to the wheel of the ship and gave it a turn... just then noises could be hear.... and green smoke was coming out from it!

Ronnie saw a girl enter the captain's quaters. She was slightly worried there was going to be Mutany afoot. She stepped into the cabin looking for the Captain as well. Ahoy there Scallywag." Ronnie said looking at the girl. What in the heck did she just say? Ugh...being on this ship did something to your launguage it had to. "I mean, Hey, I'm Ronnie." She said smiling and sticking her hand out for a shake. "How do you like the Captian's Cabin?" She asked again still smiling, but yet...there was something else behind her emotions too. But what was it.
Elektra tilted her head to the side a little as she listened to him. "Aye...sounds like Violet is stuck in a little bit of a pickle eh?" she said and then got up and stopped feeling a little dizzy and she shook her head and caught herself and rubbed her head. "Woah..." she looked over at Christopher and she looked around and then looked back and for a moment saw three of him t once from Elektra still being a little dizzy then snaps out of it. "Hey uhmm uhh you want to get out here and keep looking around? Maybe we'll find something intresting before someone else"

Selina climbed aboard the Ship. She knew thata a majority of the students were already aboard and such but she had missed the boat, no pun intended, to get on the boat. So here she was, scaling the side of the boat to do a little bit of nose digging. The far up the boat she climbed the more people she heard on board. Finally she climbed over the ledge and onto the main deck. It was empty. No one was there. But she still heard the voices. It seemed like there were tons of students in tunnels under the deck. Then she saw the door down to the lower levels. She thought she'd see if she could see anyone she knew maybe they'd want to go snooping with them.
Then she opened the door and cut her hand deeply on the old chipped wood. She drew her hand away and the gash was deep. It bled like a hose, but she ripped off a piece of her shirt and wrapped it. She could go to the infirmary later.
So she continued to navigate under the ship, alone and in the darkness until she heard two very familiar voices. She threw open the door to the Captain's cabin and saw Elektra and Chris, "Thought I heard you two down here."

Elektra shouted and then paused for a moment and then cleared her throat. "Err- I mean- Selina! Bloody hell you scared me." she said puting her hand on her chest and she chuckles. "What are you doing here? I thought you would be with Violet right now." She said lowering her hand from her chest then looks at Selina's hand. "Oi, what happened to your hand?"

William was very enthusiastic, from what Ari could tell, much more so than herself. Regardless, she smiled and asked: 'So, where do we start, which way?' She had never been on a ship before and had very little knowledge of its parts.
'The new Professors?' she repeated, puzzled. 'Why would the Ministry have anything to do with an abandoned ship? I think they're not connected, because people from the Ministry would show off, they wouldn't work through mysterious ways.' Or maybe they would?
'Gold? Now that would be interesting.' the tiny brunette chuckled.
" Ahoy matey" William called out to the girl. " Yo-ho-ho and a bittle of butterbeer" Wiliam told her. ' My name isWillaim Montcenaggio aka Starr. " Like to search together?" Willaim asked the girl.

" Down here in the Captains quarters" William told Ari." The Ministry has down weird things over the years" William said to Ari." Gold would be intereting "William laughed.

OH YEAH!
Oakey quietly walked up to the girl and gave her a nice big squeeze! HAPPY HUG A SLYTHERIN DAY! He yelled.
Oakey rushed to the exit of the lower decks and booked it up the stairs. It was getting late he should leave the ship. Old ships at night were not a good mix.
Ugh! Where was the exit to this ship?! ...and exactly why had she traveled all the way down to this dark, lower level again? Oh, right...Lola. She'd been trying to get away from Lola, she now remembered. She sighed as she moved forward a bit more, only to suddenly feel arms wrapping around her and pulling her in tightly.
Wait...what?! Was she being attacked?! Had the ship's owners finally come back, only to somehow start the attack with bringing down her first?! She gasped and tried to turn around, but whoever or whatever this was was holding her tightly...
...and then the person let go, telling her 'Happy Hug a Slytherin Day' as he did so. Was this some kind of joke?!"Ugh!" she loudly protested. "Do I look like I need a hug?!" The attacker was long gone now, which was good for him, because Sierra would have likely hexed him to the moon and back had she caught him.

Maybe they should go back, actually, if there were 'boom's.

Sigh. "You know what, I'll be heading back to look for him, you guys...just...go ahead, okay?" he said, with one nod that could be visible to everyone because he over did it.
Hufflepuffs, always the loyal ones. Sierra rolled her eyes but nodded in response to what Treyen had said. "I'm going to find my way out this ship anyway," she remarked to no one in particular. If she was going to get hug attacked down here, then she was better off in the safety and solitude of the dungeons.
Without another word to anyone in her group, as she was now completely focused on finding a way out of the ship, Sierra turned left and headed down the little hallway the direction had led to. Some time later, she couldn't be sure how long, she found a set of stairs. Deciding that they likely led to the main deck, where she could then find the gangplank and get off this blasted ship, Sierra took the stairs.
Not even five minutes later, she was back on the main deck and heading down the gangplank. It felt good to be on land again, and it would feel even better to be back in the common room. Her retreating figure could be seen as she walked back across the grounds and into the castle.

Selina yelped a bit at Elektra's surprise, "Ugh! You scared me, Elektra. I mean seriously you just..." Selina shook her head, "Did you just say Argh? Nevermind that."
When Elektra started to interrogate Selina she blushed, "Oh well, I um was just... climbing the side of the boat. All of you were aboard and I just thought I'd come along. But I was, um, a little late to come aboard so I climbed aboard... and yeah right like Violet would climb anything in her life. Please that is such an over exaggeration."
She pressed her hand, "I cut it on the way down here. The wood in this place is ancient."
