Your mind dwells on the clues at hand as you wander down towards the lake. Why would this last clue lead you here? What could possibly be found?
Just around the bend, you catch a glimpse of something colorful. Curious, you dwell deeper through the trees now following the wonderful smell of vegetation and the sound of rushing water until suddenly you are cut short by the spectacular view before you.
There, hidden from the world is a beautiful tropical lagoon. Clear blue water laps up at the small beach, bordered by lush ferns and tall, swaying palm trees. Rocky easily climbable out-croppings frame the lagoon's clear water, punctuated by a gentle waterfall that slopes in such a way that your first mischievous thought is how it could easily be used as a "water slide."
As you get closer, you see algae covered tridents washed up on the shore along with what looks like scaled armor covered in barnacles. Here and there float sea shell brassieres, conch shell horns, and an old fishing net tangled among the rocks beside forgotten coral jewelry. Your mind hurries to connect the dots and it is then that you realize that this must be an abandoned merfolk dwelling of some sort.
Filled with interest you venture out of the vegetation, and give a start as you notice the head boy Finlay Carmicheal and head girl Iris Beaumont.
They smile at you in welcome.
Congratulations, for this is indeed the end of your search.

Grabbing one at random, he didn't notice it much until he had tossed away his robes and gotten into it. Orlando chuckled stupidly, seeing small owls of different colors on his shirt. Grabbing a shirt at random too - color, red - the boy put it on and made his way out.
It had been all COOL and stuff, until he noticed Ryden - who was calling out for him. Dressed in something, other than their school robes - Orlando realized he had never seen her like that.
Oh.
She looked happy.
And pretty.
And her lovely hair all rolled up like that.
Orlando liked it.
A small smile crept on his lips, without his knowledge as he for minute just stood their and watched her. She looked happy. It was a lovely sight. Realizing, she was looking out for him still - the boy brought himself back to the pretty Lagoon and walked upto her. "I am heree. Selina looked up at him and smiled, "Sure..." She thought he was odd with all of his talk of hair and bunnies and such, but then again Selina was odd too. Everyone at Hogwarts was, it just came with the territory of being a Witch or Wizard.
Conan smiled, "Are you a vegetarian or anything? Cos it smells like a hog roast going on." Mmmm hog roast. He loved luaus. He had forced his parents to take him on vacation to Hawaii a few years back. It was great fun.

He found himself titling his head, confused "Insecure?... " it didnt make sense to him, she was the most confident person he knew. As he continued to listen he started to understand, better now and more completely than ever before "Oh Lexi... " he whispered as he gingerly cupped her face with his hand. He longed to just lean in and give her a kiss and make her forget about her heartaches even for a little while, but he wasnt sure if he should go pressing his luck, wasnt he one of those heartaches not too long before?
He couldnt help the smile tug at the corner of his lips when she uttered her real name. He loved her real name, to him it felt more fitting to who she really was, how he really knew her, but he kept that to himself. If she was happy with her adopted name, then he was gonna be happy and supportive of her. Suddenly aware that he was smiling for no apparent reason he uttered "You're not a boil at the bottom of ... well you're not a boil period!" He really wanted to cover whoever said that with boils, but he had a feeling she had already dealt with them last summer.
Yes more secrets that should never be mentioned again...
He nodded his head "Yeah Lexi, I get it now..." cause and effect. Right he got it. But deep down he knew, as he had learned long ago, predicting Lexi's exact reaction was impossible, other than the fact that he tends to only remember effect after the blundering about the cause. But yeah he had a goal now right? He felt his face flush, both flattered and confused "I'm not all that great Lexi, I know that, but it sure feels great to hear you say it though..." he smiled finally. He knew, he needed to improve, he never begrudged what she said to him in the library, only that now, looking back, he had to strive harder.
He drew close to her, their hands entwined, pressing hers against his chest. "Would you... do you... take me back then?" he whispered closely, gazing imploring at her loveliness, begging her to end his suffering, one way or another.
Lexi let her eyes fall closed once more as he cupped her face in his hands. Her lips pulled up into a little smile as she heard him exclaim that she wasn't a boil. He was good quality.
"To me... you're the closest thing to perfection in this whole mixed up world, Stradivarius. You -- are what keeps me sane most days. And the past few days I felt like... I was losing my mind. I will take you back... but I need to ask you something first. And it's CRUCIAL that you tell me the truth. The bald truth the way you see it." She took a deep breath to steel herself and then...
"Does this bathing suit make me look fat?" Her grin was one of sheer cheek as she threw her arms around his neck and waited for his answer. Hehe.
Oh. haha. Fallon really did know him, if she knew exactly what she was feeling. He smiled at her as she kissed him quickly. He liked kisses. Finlay liked kisses a lot. "Oh...you've got me." He laughed, before splashing a bit more water at her. He was glad they'd finally got some time to spend together. After today it'd be back to the studying, and that really sucked. Finn would be so glad when they could stop studying.
He didn't miss her frown, and he touched her lips gently with his finger. He smiled at her. He knew she was going to miss Hogwarts next year. "I promise you won't miss it that much. You'll still have me."
Fallon giggled as Finn splashed her. "Not cool Finn." She in return splashed him. Psh. They weren't immature at all. There was nothing wrong with having a splash fight at the age of 17. Nothing.
Fallon smiled as Finn placed his finger on her lips. She let out a sigh. "I know. I still can't believe it though..."
Freya was enjoying the fresh air and the scenery till she heard someone voice beside her. Did she say Hey to me? She looked around but she didn't see anyone near her. Yeah maybe the girl was talking to her. "Hello." she greeted the younger girl. The blonde never seen the girl before she looks younger than her and she definitely not a Slytherin because if she's then Freya had recognize her.
"I'm Freya Salvatore." she introduced herself.
Nessie smilled as the girl finally replied. Freya? that was the first time Nessie had heard that name. It was a really beautiful name. She wondered if it might have a meaning and she wondered where it might have come from."Thats a Pretty name!" said Nessie admiring the name. "Im Renesmee, Renesmee Dixon but everyone call me Nessie or Ness for short."
The little first year, deffinately didn't know this girl, but it was good that she had at least now met her. It was a start right? and the more people she knew the better right? Well so she had been told so plenty of times by her Daddy and her Dad was a Hufflepuff so Nessie did always try be like him. "So what year you in?" asked Ness keeping the conversation going.

Ryden was so happy. It was almost too surreal to watch. Orlando had never seen her like this. ALL this time with her and he had never seen her smile so openly.
He was too caught up in watching her that he didn't realize she had let go of his hand and had marched her way toward the water and SPLASH - into the water, she went. Orlando laughed, wholeheartedly. If only he had his camera right now. He wanted to take pictures, just so he could show it to her later - when she would be back to her frowny face, he would blackmail her into smiling more - telling her he had proof that she looked pretty when she was happy. Yep, it was a far fetched plot.
He nodded, hearing her. He could definitely swim. Without much thought, the sixteen year old ran forward - jumping into the water without any grace at all. Water drowned him pretty quickly, his long arms moved and he smiled - opening his eyes underwater - it was a small moment, but he loved it.
Moving his head out the water, the boy laughed - it was AWESOME. "We should realllly go on to the slides now!" he urged.

Ryden laughed as he jumped into the water. He COULD swim. Good. Because the brunette didn't think she could be friends with someone who couldn't. What would they DO in the summer? Read books all day long? It was fun, for sure, but after a while it could get boring. Suddenly Ryden had a vision of her and Koala Boy out in the beach house back home, splashing about in the water and laughing their heads off at something or other, generally having a good time. And Bridget wasn't there.
OOH. Fun. Perhaps she could invite him over for the holiday? ... No, but wait. It was winter back home. UGH. WHY did it have to be so upside down? First she came here and found out that her birthday was in the SUMMER, only to now realise that she would be back home and it would be winter there again.
Bleh.
But never mind that - he was coming up. Watching, Ryden found his laughter infectious and laughed right back, before nodding. "All right then... But DON'T push me. I'll hit you," she said, and waved her hand up in the air in front of him with a grin. She hadn't punched any walls lately, so it was quite intact and ready for use.
HEHE.

He rolled his eyes, playfully. "As if. Your fragile fist, Mademoiselle, cannot afford more hits. I am sure you would not like to go back to the Hospital Wing," he said, grinning - his arms move forward. He swam toward the place where the slides were at. He kept looking back, making sure Ryden was keeping up.
When he reached the place, he got himself out - noticing his rather wet shirt. He wanted to take it off, so badly - but with Ryden around, Orlando couldn't. With Legend, taking off shirts was one thing but with Ryden ... he tried to push away his thoughts, so he would not end up blushing stupidly.
"Come on .." he called for her, holding his hand out for her to take .. so he could help her get out.

"Ooh," Samira winced sympathetically, but she couldn't stop a small grin from tugging at her lips. "Yeah...having a teacher joke about you poisoning someone doesn't always leave the best impression."Snicker."I tend to shy away from Arithmancy though. I'm completely hopeless at the subject." Even Nika, her sometimes clueless Muggleborn best friend was better at the subject than her! How did that happen?!
"I can't say I'm any good at Ancient Runes either," she paused. "And don't even get me started on Divination..." The girl couldn't see a dang thing other than fog in that blasted crystal ball if her life depended on it. She just didn't have--wait for it-- the inner eye. Whatever that was. "Love Bishop. Hate the subject." It always peeved her how she was completely disastrous at the subject, but other kids like Kurumi and Selena passed effortlessly. Hm...maybe she should pair up with one of them next class...?
"It's not awfully fun either." Cass answered wryly, but a small smile creeping up her face, maybe someday - like in 20 or 30 years time - she would find it funny. Then she smiled "Same here. Arithmancy and I just don't get along. With all that numbers and such. My brain is built for words and spells not numbers" She said with a light laugh as she remembered the last time she seriously attempted getting an above average mark at Artihmancy, which was 2 years ago. Now, she simply settled for barely passing. It wasn't one of her favorite subjects after all.
She rolled her eyes at the mention of two other subjects, Runes and Divination. Oh Merlin, don't get her started, she absolutely had no clue about Divination and Runes...well, let's just say that she used her rune stones more as toys than instruments of ancient magic or whatever. "Yes, Professor Bishop is absolutely lovely, I just wished her subject was the same." Then she grinned cheekily "Charms however is a whole different topic." Not only was the subject fun, the professor wasn't so bad looking either.

Lexi unholstered her wand and with a few movements and a muttered incantation she thus cast the bubblehead charm on herself and Salander. Giggling behind the little bubble she kept a tight grip on his hand and began to wade out into the water.
Looking back at Sal she winked before letting go of his hand and diving into the water. Snorkeling at Hogwarts... who would have thought it possible?

Samira couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "My sentiments exactly," she agreed. "I just don't get the whole point of taking the subject if you're not a seer," she shrugged. "I actually got into a debate with a Gryffindor who was absolutely convinced we have our whole lived mapped and planned out for us, and that we have no free-will about our lives." It was rather irritating when the debate ended suddenly when the girl started yelling at Samira for voicing her opinions. But whatever. She shot Cass a quick, slightly nervous look. Did Cass believe in that stuff, too? Cuz if she did, then that would be awkward...
"Oh, me, too!" said Samira vehemently. "I've always been better at the practical stuff. Charms, Transfiguration, DADA...that's my kind of subject." She grinned. "Even Potions, because it's really all about following direction." She had a feeling some people did a horrid job on their potion because of Professor Lafay. True, the lady was quite intimidating, but Samira didn't find her scary. You just had to stay on her good side. "Do you like Lafay?" she asked suddenly.
Oh, phew. So Harper wouldn't die this day - she hadn't mangled him completely.
Harper sighed and tilted her head to the side. "If you say so..." she wasn't about to argue. Maybe he was resistant to, or incapable of, feeling pain. Which ever the reason was, Harper would accept his answer.
She nodded and looked around at his next question, trying to find something intelligent to say about the area. "Yeah, it's absolutely lovely here," she had picked up the pronounciation of the word from Lola. There really was no other word for it. Gorgeous, perrrrrty, beautiful, delightful, amazing, superb, awesome, OH MAH GAWSH IT'S ALL SHINY IN THE WATER"Have you seen those PALM TREES? They're all...tall and tropical and whatever. I expect the day can only get better from here...if I could find that ruddy stupid piece of -"" Harper muttered the last few words of her sentence under her breath. Of course the day could only get better - she had just almost taken the legs off a Slytherin.
"How about you?" There was nothing quite like copying someone else's question and firing it right back at 'em. Especially when it was obvious that everyone loved it here. At least, Harper thought it was. I'm Harper, by the way. In case you wanted to know." she put on a smile that faltered after a moment's thought. NOO, Harper, don't tell him your name - he could SUE YOU.
This Slythie didn't seem the suing type. It was just a good thing she hadn't run into Sierra's legs....
Evan grinned upon hearing the praise. Of course it was lovely here, the prefects had made it. His grin got even bigger when she talked about the trees. "I know," he said, nodding. "Have you tried the water slide? I hear it's fun." Though, she seemed as if she had just come here... well, she had time.
"What is it that you're looking for?" he asked. He could help her find it. He was here to ensure people had problemless fun, after all.
"I love this place too," he said, smiling politely as she told her name. "Nice to meet you, Harper. I'm Evan."

He watched the near invisible bubble wrap over his head, then looked around the lagoon, everything looking warped and funny. He had got to ask Lexi to teach him how to do this charm. Heck he'd do it just for laughs at the dorms.
Warm waters rippled around his legs as he watched Lexi dive into the lagoon. Oh yeah, be lotsa interesting stuff to see down there uhuh, and yeah.... he may also get to see some local marine wildlife while he's at it heh. Instinctively, he sucked in a breath and dived after Lexi, his feet kickiing up momentarily into the air before disappearing under the waves.

"I know, right?" Cass said with a nod, seriously subjects like that should only be taken by seers or people who are constantly 'in the beyond'. Snort. Then she gasped slightly when Samira told her a story about a Gryffindor that she had met. Why would people think that? "If that was the case, then we wouldn't have a need for choices now, would we?" She said with a light snort accompanied by a roll of her eyes. She really disliked people who thought that way, after all, life is what you make it. Never the other way around. Divination - if it was actually worth something - is simply the art of foretelling what might happen to you because of your choices. Not shaping your choices to meet that prediction of what might happen to you.

Cass then chuckled when Samira mentioned Lafay "Who isn't?" She joked "But seriously? Not really. I mean, I do find her intimidating, and I'm afraid of making mistakes around her, but as long as you're not messing anything up she a very amiable woman." Ok...maybe not that amiable.

"I love this place too," he said, smiling politely as she told her name. "Nice to meet you, Harper. I'm Evan."
..."Shall we get something to eat?"
Harper was going to LIVE here. There was nothing anyone could say. She would chain herself to a palm tree. Yep.
"Water slide?" she looked around, her eyes growing big again. Oh golly gee wizard, a WATER SLIDE? How EPIC was that? She hadn't been on one since...since...well, she had never been on one.
"Oh, it's my ruddy pygmy puff and YES, I hope you heard that Pretzel!" she called louder, scowling toward some bushes. "He goes missing a lot. He was on my shoulder one minute, and then he was gone. That little cotton ball needs a leash." Pretzel nestled himself in her hair a bit more, his eyes peeking out warily, hearing his name in such a manner. And the word that most stood out, 'leash'. Noo way.
Oh, right. Of course he would love it, why need she even ask? She had failed to take in the fact that he was a Prefect. She had bumped into a Slytherin PREFECT. And yet she was still alive. Amazing how things work!
"Nice to meet you too, Evan." she said with a nod. She would accept that name, because he looked like an Evan. Some people did not match their names, and she found herself very skeptical of them.
"Something to eat? Oooh I haven't eaten for a while!" she exclaimed, as if it were a suggestion to go to a theme park or be given a million galleons. Food, imagine! There was even FOOD here!
She couldn't help but grin, "That's what a wand is for, isn't it? For practical use." Then she laughed lightly "It would be stupid to use it to solve math problems and such." That's what a quill and parchment was for.
"That's exactly what I said!" Samira waved her arms enthusiastically for emphasis, then let them drop back to her sides. No need to look like some over eccentric first year..."I said I don't agree because, well, if that were the case, we'd be nothing short of pawns in a chess game, or animals." Of course the debate took a downward spiral when said Gryffindor started yelling at her for a comment she made about Seers...
Samira couldn't help but smirk. She really liked the way Cass thinks. "I was never good at math," Samira wrinkled her nose at the thought. "Even when I worked with a private tutor, I could never get it." Some subjects really should be optional. "I've always been more into literature myself," said Samira. "It's stupid how they have all of these useless subjects--" Ancient Runes? Really?"--But they don't have a reading or writing course. We should have classes for creativity." Art classes, music classes, poetry classes...that would be wonderful. But no. They go to Herbology and work with poop.
"Agreed," said Samira. "I've never really drawn attention to myself, so I have no real reason to dislike her." She frowned a bit. "You know that some people call her 'Dragon Lady'?"
" You, myself, Witsy, Sherri and Hugo should all go to HogwMeade together" William told Fee. " I am glad I am ok again, too" William said to Fee. " I agree with you, but Hugo might get mad if I agree with you" William sighed. " hugo is nice, I am just teasing you" William laughed. " Ready to lose a swimming race with me?" Willaim asked Fee.
Ohhh they should all go to Hogsmeade together? That was a great idea."I would love to",Fee nodded smiling.Maybe that convinced Hugo that Willy wasnt that bad. "Ohh how come you think of Hugo as nice now?",the girl beamed happily,"i am sure you can agree with me.Its just the truth."Losing a swimming race?Definitely not."I am ready but i am not going to lose",the Slytherin wiggled her eyebrows and grinnedWater was her element.Hehe.

They haven't seen each other in days, and when they did see each other, it was at the dorms and one would already be asleep. It sucked not being able to talk to her.
Then she looked back at the water and said "It is. I'm surprised nobody has ever found this place before. It seems impossible to hide."
Fee swam next to her bestie and hugged her a little. It felt good to see Cass again, these days had ben though and the girls barely had the chance to talk. The blonde really hated that.It kinda made her feel empty because she was so used to being around the other blonde."I really missed you darling",the girl said smiling widely. It was good to see the smile on Cass' face too.
Ohh right, why hadnt anyone discovered this yet?Hopefully they would be able to come here the next terms too. That would be beyong amazing."I knooow its pretty weird",she nodded,"just like that ship and the x."Many weird things happened these days but not only entirely bad ones."As much as i love the lake, this is waaay more beautiful",the Slytherin chuckled,"i hope we can come here more often."

" Sounds like a plan" William told Fee." I just gave Hugo time and he came around to like me" William said to Fee. "Do not say iy because I know what you aregoing to say" William laughed. What is the truth?" William asked Fee. William feigned not knowing what thay are talking about right now. I am not Rex. I will not let you win" William expalined to Fee. then William burst out in laughter. Would you like to see a magic card trick?" Wiliam asked Fee.

"Honestly." Cass said with a role of her eyes thinking of the irrational people who had shaped their lvoes around said...predictions. "They're all quite pathetic. I would change my opinion about them though if the person speaking was an actual seer...because, well, they can actually see into the future...Sort of."
She nodded "Oh yes, there really should be more art centered subjects here. After all, it isn't like the magical world is a place filled with dull, not-very creative people."
Cass then grimaced as she nodded once more. Yes, she had heard that Dragon Lady title a couple of times in and out of class. Even Kurumi had uttered it once or twice if her memory serves her right. "Its not very nice. After all, she wouldn't be such a....dragon if they just did what she ordered without messing up." Or maybe the title was because of the fact that she set fire to a student last term. Hmmmm.

Cass grinned at her fellow blonde and said "I missed you too. Its been a while since we talked." Then she tucked a few stray strands of her hair behind her ear as she simply stood there with her feet immersed in the water while Fee practically swam circles around her. "Either this place had a really good concealment charm over it and the caster recently died, or Hogwarts is still a bit stingy when offering some of its hidden..features to students." She said jokingly with a smile.

Samira nodded along with Cass as she pulled her hair back into a ponytail, then let it fall back around her shoulders again. She fiddled with the thin strap of her bikini and let it fall back, and winced with the slight smack
it made. She rubbed her shoulder gingerly with a slight grimace. "That's right," she said empathetically. "And maybe she wouldn't be so mean if people didn't call her that name. Maybe she feels that she has to act so strict because she's been dubbed "Dragon Lady"..." It was unlikely, but it could be true. If people were a bit nicer, or maybe understanding, Lafay would be, too. After all, she did lose, like, what?--4 husbands already? No wonder the woman was bitter.
Thinking of a change of subject, Samira said, "I can't believe term's almost over. Do you know what you're going to be doing this summer?"
