Set against the back drop of beautiful lush foliage, lies a long table under a natural made canopy of palm trees. The bamboo wood almost buckling with the amount of food covering its surface, your mouth waters as you gaze upon the numerous dishes.

Scrumptious arrangements of fruits call your attention even as your nose flares at the scent of smoked delicacies. It's almost impossible to discern the scent of smoked briskets from the salmon, and various other types of meats.

Coconut drinks complete with an umbrella garnish and straw await your command to magically fill with the drink of your choice. Within reason of course.

Don't think your prefects forgot about the sweets! Not far from the drinks are cakes and other delicious tropical pastries, including the cookies that were served at the beginning of the hunt, awaiting your arrival.

There are plenty of bamboo tables for all. Go on, take a plate and be our guest, and be sure to stay for the beach bonfire later tonight!

Rafe was immediately drawn to the smell of delicious food and most importantly MEAT! There was a table completely dedicated to meat, it was almost overwhelming. Rafe took a plate a piled it up with brisket, salmon...and ooh, was that wild roasted boar?! He was in meat heaven! Though most of it was overcooked (aka normal) because he preferred his meat rare and still flowing with blood, but he didn't seem to care. He took in a deep breath as he was very happy. He even took the time to get one of those tropical drinks with the little umbrellas to wash everything down and took it to a nearby empty bamboo table to devour.

Elektra was excited. She needed to have some fun right about now so this Luau seemed like a pretty good idea. She looked around taking in the sights and she smiled to herself. Oh, this was going to be fun. Seeing where the food and drinks were she walked over to where the drinks were and picked up a tropical fruit drink. She wasn't really that hungry, but maybe later she'd get something to eat later. She walked away from the table and started to walk towards an empty bamboo table when she stopped seeing a familliar face and she raised her eyebrow and then walked towards the occupied table. As she got closer she realized who was sitting at the table and she couldn't help but sound shocked to see him. "Rafe?"

Rafe took a moment from his plate, which within just a matter of minutes was empty and looked up to see who said his name. He wasn't quite sure who it...he squinted his eyes and he couldn't believe it was little Elektra. She had grown up to much, "Is that little Elektra Eel?" He had a few encounters with her briefly, mainly through his brother Derian, and was kind of surprised. "Please take a seat with me," he offered as he pulled out a bamboo chair for her. "How have you been? You've practically grown a foot since the last time I saw you!"

"But, I've definitely seen a difference in your height and there's nothing wrong with that. I hear 'tall' is the new black this season." He took his seat once more across from her and took a sip of his drink. "I've been doing as well as can be. I had some things I needed to take care of abroad, so that's why I took a leave of absence."

She then heard him talk about why he was gone and she could tell there was something bothering him but it wasn't her place to kepp nagging and nagging him on about more details so she just nodded. "And to think I was going to hear this epic story of you fighting of zombies, or- or ghosts or something." she laughed lightly. She paused for a second when he asked her what she has been up to and she rubbed the back of her neck and exhaled out slowly. "Well for starters...I had my first parsletongue encounter during a Charms class last year and a lot of people thought I lost my bloody mind, but..." she shrugs. "what are you going to do you know? To top things off, I nearly died from some ghost sickness, but here I am. Alive and kickin." she takes another sip of her drink.

He hoped she didn't take fer too seriously, and he was kinda kidding. He'd already battled vamps before, but that wasn't why he was absent.

Rafe leaned in as he listened to her story. It sounded so incredibly intense for someone such a young age. "Well, it's good to hear that your okay." Ghost sickness? He'd never heard that before. "And as for parsletongue, that's pretty awesome! I can speak many languages, but this is one that you can only understand naturally. It's a rare gift." Rafe would never admit it, but he was a little jealous. He hated that it was something he couldn't learn. Rafe raised his glass, "And here's to alive and kickin'. Cheers!"

She raised her eyebrow. Oh, she knew he was kidding, or was he? Ah, she didn't care. Just seeing him back in Hogwarts was enough for her. She chuckles. "I honestly thought the only language I knew how to speak was Greek, but talknig to snakes too? Bloody hell I wish my dad told me this stuff before coming here. He seems to hide a lot from me still." She raises her glass and taps it against his. "Cheers." She smiles to him then takes a sip of her drink and pauses for a second. "Hey Rafe uhh...do you have any idea where your brother disappeared to? I- I miss him a lot."

"Well, parseltongue is hereditary," Rafe smiled, "Parents certainly have the tendency of overlooking what's important to tell you." Been there, done that. "It's like they have some weird pleasure at the thought of your finding out on your own and when you do, it's pretty terrifying." Rafe could certainly relate to having a father that kept secrets. His father was a secret in a way.

He had a feeling that the topic of Derian would arise. He didn't really know what to say. "I don't know if he'll be returning," Rafe said. His brother was making a life of his own, so he heard. "I think he wanted to be make a name for himself and not be under his brother's shadow for awhile. And who knows he might return?" Rafe knew how important it was to make a self discovery, especially given that they were both half-werewolves. It was a lot to take in at such a young age. Rafe wish he could've been there more for him, but he had his own priorities.

"I think a few bruises wouldn't hurt, my face is pretty damaged as it is," Rafe said referring to his scars. "Who knows it might actually me an improvement." He chuckled. He changed so much since his first year. Once an innocent child, embarrassed of having facial hair to a tree of a man, who was scarred up and a leader of a werewolf pack. Rafe was curious as to where Elextra would be in several years. It's amazing how time could change a person.

Rafe couldn't help, but tilt his head at the fact that she would never touch a broom again. "Really? But, flying is like being a part of being a wizard, it's something natural!" he exclaimed. Rafe hadn't been on broom lately because he apparated everywhere these days, but that wasn't going to stop him from flying. "Maybe you weren't properly instructed? Maybe I could take you on a ride and show you how safe flying can be?"

Eleka's voice shook. She was terrified of a broom and it didn't help that Vindictus hounded her and hounded her the first time she ever wnet to the flying lesson. Bloody 20 points taken away from Slytherin just because she stuck up for her and Violet. She shakes her head. "Believe me when I tell you that there is nothing that you can say or do that'll make get on a broom." She rubbed the back of her neck and finished her drink. When he said that he would take her on a broom her eyes shot right to him and the look in her eyes explained it all. "Y-You? Take me- me on a broom? I- I don't know. I'm scared. What if I fall?"

FOOOOOOOOD! Lexi could SMELL it wafting through the air. She was like a bloodhound on the hunt, man. She felt like she hadn't eaten in ages. Finally tracking down the table full of yummness that was responsible for the salivation in her mouth her eyes almost bugged out. SCOREEEE!

Rushing over she grabbed a plate and began to blindly grope the food trays, piling things high on her plate until it was almost to it's breaking point. She shoved a few slices of pineapple in her mouth as she balanced the plate and grabbed a drink. Juice ran down from the corners of her mouth as she found a table and plopped down. MMmmmmm.

It's like... that place... in the Muggle books when they go through the wardrobe into another world... whatever it's called, it's like that," Lexi said with a nod. "You can have some of my food and then we can go swimming if you want to." She was a rebel... she was NOT going to wait 20 minutes before swimming.

So Stephen had heard about some place where everyone was going lately. Seeing as he didn't have anything else to do, and after a slightly awkward conversation with Aimee, he wandered off and found this place. "The hell is this place?" he lowly asked to himself and gazed around. Well, there was a lagoon thing, so maybe that's why people were coming here. But then something else caught his eye. It was a long table of food.

FREE FOOD.

Quietly, but quickly walking over to the table, Stephen grinned and stuffed a plate with all the different kinds of foods he could eat. Being a vegetarian wasn't easy all the time, but once he got used to it, everything came much easier. Glancing around again, he saw a brunette and blonde, who he had been looking for. Walking over to them and sitting himself down at their table, he sighed.

"Guys, I need some advice on something.." he said.

She said lowly and then stuffed her face again.

"Advice is my specialty." She told Stephen and grinned at him. Truth be told giving advice was something Kat wasn't really good at. People tend to avoid asking her for advice most of the time. "So what is this thing you need advice for?"

Lexi's head turned as Stephen made himself at home at their table. She was totally okay with the company. She had been wretched lately... and hiding herself in the Ravenclaw girl's dorms with Tuney.

Talking around the food in her mouth she said, "What's up?" Stephen didn't look like he was having a great time either. Perhaps misery would love some company?

How could she NOT know that one of her best friends could not swim? Eyeing her for a moment she said, "I am sure I could transfigure something into a float or sommat. You can't come down her and not get in the water." That would be... CRAZY!

She looked back and forth between Stephen and Kat as she chewed loudly on some pineapple glazed ham. "I might be rubbish at a lot of things, but I have gotten pretty good at advice lately," she said with a small smile for the boy.

Kat having a specialty in giving advice? Stephen found that very hard to believe. She was usually known for making messes. NOT fixing them. "Uh, are you sure you're a specialist in giving advice, Kat? I doubt you have specialty in this subject," he arched an eyebrow and took some of his food into his mouth. Yeah, he wouldn't take advice from Kat even if it made sense to him anyway.

"Okay.. So there's this girl in my house who I've grown feelings for. We're friends but I just want to clear the air that I like her.. How do I come about that?" he asked, pushing his food away, now feeling knots in his stomach. "I would mainly ask you, Lexi, since you're dating someone and all, so that's why I've been looking for yuo guys. Typically, you two are usually together," he added.

"Sure as long as I don't drown" She grinned at her. Kat had only been 'swimming' once and that was when someone threw her into the lake and she nearly died. Not a good experience at all.

"Psh why is it so hard to believe that I could give good advice?" She asked Stephen. Strangers had even asked her for advice. Of course she did suck and led one of those people to end up in the hospital.... "It's Aimee right!? I know it is! Awww little Stephen is growing up" She cooed and pinched his cheeks. "I say you should do something special for her. Oh I could help too!"

It was all Lexi could do not to get up, take off running, and not look back... as it was she began to cry right then and there... right into her plate of food. "Salander and I have had an awful fight and br-br-brooooke uuuuup," she sobbed loudly.

Stupid emotions... stupid question about relationships. HMPH. Lexi grabbed her beach towel and covered her face with it as she sobbed uncontrollably. Clearly she should not have come out of the dorms so soon. CLEARLY.

"Because you make messes, not help people fix them," Stephen stated, leaning his head on his left arm. Why was he here again? "Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions, Kat. I never said it was her, I just said it was a girl from my house. It could almost be any of them," he added, slapping her hand away from pinching his cheeks. Which he might add, completely drove him insane. But was it that obvious that it WAS in fact Aimee? Hmph.

WHY WAS LEXI CRYING NOW?! AT A TIME LIKE THIS WHEN THE ITALIAN BOY WAS DESPERATE FOR ANSWERS?! "No! Don't cry! I didn't know, I'm so sorry!" Stephen tried to console her but he was obviously not good at things like this. This is why girls have best friends who are girls because they care! Boy best friends don't sometimes. "Kat!" Stephen yelled at her, "Why didn't you tell me about the situation before this happened?!" Then Lexi would probably not be crying at their table, hidden behind her towel. "I just want to know how I can tell her, that's it,"
