Evan thought about it for a moment, anyone at his grade in Slytherin that wanted to be Auror... but, then again, he would never disturb the students trying to study, so there was a good chance he didn't know him, by name at least. Shrugging, he said "I hope he can do it, then." There was nothing he could say more, since he didn't really know the boy.

He offered a smile when Bissy said it sounded better. Definitely it did, rather than 'you' or 'the girl'... He was once again glad that he had a very easy name. His surname was on the long side, but the people caring for the surnames would learn it anyway. Yeah, he was thanking his parents for choosing an easy name for him...

...a sixth year new Snake? N'aw, that was new. He raised his eyebrows slightly. People usually came at the fifth grade to take the OWLs and then continue. But maybe the OWLs at Durmstrang were easier? He shrugged. "I don't know much about there... Is it a nice school?" he asked as he poured a glass of pumpkin juice for himself and herself as well, offering one glass to her. Though, apparently Hogwarts was better, if her parents wanted her to complete her education here. "So are you Russian?" Durmstrang people were Russian, right? Or at least from thereabouts?

Awww~! she didn't want to hold Mr. Duckels? but he was so plushy! and hugable! Oh well, her loss.
Daichi watched how the girl named Kurumi bowed slightly at the waist. Despite having asian features ...and even a japanese name... Daichi didn't bow. He wasn't used to it since he was born and raised in England. Still he knew the gesture of politeness and smiled at her. "Kurumi, i like your name, i hope we can be friends" he said the last part a bit shyly and bit his lip.
"Yush! i like it already, even if the Prefect had been lying to me..." he stuck his tongue out at Evan.

Daichi's small eyes went wide with shock when the Prefect was yelling at him. Why was he yelling? he just wanted to give him one of Kurumi's cookies! What was wrong with that? Ok, maybe the movement hadn't been so smooth. "S-sorry" he said and lowered his hand, the cookie still in his hand.
Daichi looked up when Evan mentioned he shouldn't be eating them either. He frowned but thought he was right. If he ate more cookies he wouldn't want anything from the feast. He turned back around at Kurumi. "Thank you for the cookies~" he said and took a bite off the cookie he tried to shove in the Prefect's mouth. Turning around to find other people to talk to and to eat proper food , Daichi walked back to the table.



Just as he was about to sit down at the Snake table, he noticed the boy he had met in weasley's wizards wheeze. Oh what was his name again?! Ah he remembered! Daichi walked towards the other's direction when he saw someone else covering his eyes. Wondering what a Beyoncé was, Daichi walked up to him and sat next to the older one. "Haaai Steven!" That was his name right? O_o gah he should memorise peoples names better.

Hugo was shocked to find out there were parties at the common room. How did he not know about this? "Well, maybe the other Ravenclaws hate me and didn't invite me," he said thinking about the plans they might have to avoid his company. "Well I don't really like Vindictus anyway. I got bitten by a Venomous Tantacula because of him and he didn't even visit me when I was in the hospital wing," he said and frowned. "Or afterwards." Stupid Herbology lesson was stupid. Thankfully they had a new teacher who wouldn't let such things happen.

"Do you know where the other two teachers might be?" he asked looking from the far left side to the far right side where teachers were missing. "I'm quite sad that professor Magnus left. I really liked her," Hugo said, looking down at his lap.

"You sure can," Hugo nodded. Licking his lip where the water had made the tiny hairs on his upper lip wet, he nodded once again and smiled. "Delishiz water," he said and took another sip. "Yes. I did." Hugo said with a pokerface. Maybe it was good to divert from his low self-esteem self once in a while. He didn't feel cute. But he didn't feel like saying "noooo I'm not cute..." ugh. "You have quite some cuteness points yourself," he said, studying the twinkle in her eye closely. Looking at the slight hesitation in Fee's face, he could see she did not like Hugo's attitude towards the young Gryffindor boy. But he was SO ANNOYING. He quickly looked away like a punished dog and took another sip of his water.

Hugo rolled his eyes. "Oh don't make me vomit," he calmly said at his "ew theww aww so many pwetty giws" statement. "There may be more pretty and sweet girls, but there is ONE out there who will be worth your while," Hugo unknowingly pointed in Fee's direction. THERE WAS SO MUCH CHEESE. "Don't talk about love if you don't understand what it is," Hugo said, turned round and crossed his arms.

Breathe. They were just words. Meaningless words he had said. Well, the I and the her were not really meaningful. The love on the other hand. Was he really old enough to love? Blushing, he looked from his lap to Fee, who seemed to have heard what he said. Wow. She really had some energy trying to burst out of her. But instead she went to sit closer. Hugo put his arm around her back and kissed her cheek. She loved him too. What a day.

Ah it was the little dude! The little dude from Diagon Alley that wanted to be a first year Snake. And from the looks of his robes the Sorting Hat had placed him in the best house in Slytherin.

Wait, who was Steven? "Ah, Duckles!" he smiled immediatly recognizing the boy. Fortunately he was good at names. "Congrats on being Slytherin. Told you you'd make it." he winked.

So, Alex really had no idea who Stevens was that Duckles had talked about but he decided to repeat his name again anyways. "And err, I'm Alex, remember?"

AAOOOWKWAAARD.

"I'm sure you'll get to meet fellow female first years once we get in our dormitories." Mordred said.

"That ship's really something. I can't wait to explore it." he said stifling a yawn. "Can't wait to get some shut eye too. I'm dead tired from the trip." he added.

"Yeah, I suppose. I get along better with guys anyway, maybe it's my charm and delicate beauty." She tossed her hair over her shoulders and fluttered her eyelashes, winking jokingly. "Or maybe it's because I make amazingly good cakes. With amazing icing too, if I do say so myself." She said as she slouched again, resting her elbows on the table. Even being jokey and over-dramatic was tiring her out now. "I made rainbow cakes for my friend's birthday, they had blue icing and little rainbow belt sweet things arced on top with white icing for clouds. They looked awesome!" She smiled.

"Ahh yes, the elusive bedtime hour." She yawned, not bothering to cover it up as Mordred had. "I'm pretty shattered."

Savannah walked to the Slytherin House table and took a seat on the cold, wood bench. It feels so good to be back at Hogwarts again and seeing everybody. Everyone was jabbering endlessly to each other, and barely touching their food. The staffs up at the staff table were also jibbering their jaws out. Even the first years were looking pretty happy. Usually, they would be shy and scared on the first day at Hogwarts.

The fourth year remember her first day at Hogwarts three years ago. She wasn't scared at all. In fact, she was lousy and mean. Savannah and her best friend, Chase Green, were making trouble and calling this Gryffindor Shudder Box. Savvy smiled at that memory. Even thought she knows it's immature, but it's still worth a thousand smiles and laughs.

Savvy sighed loudly when she found her bottle once again empty. Just can't get enough pumpkin juice while at Hogwarts. She chocked back a barp that was gonna come out. Then, she felt an awkward flip in her stomach. Weird. It wasn't because of hunger, Savannah was sure. And it wasn't of over eating either because she didn't eat half of what she usually eats. Was it because of the awkward chicken (at least she hoped it was chicken) leg or the way-too-sweet kidney pie. Savannah frowned slightly. It's not good having a stomach ache on the first day of school!

"Thanks~" Daichi couldn't help but grin broadly. He was placed in the house he wanted to be in so badly after all. "The hat did say i had some Hufflepuff traits but since i wanted it so badly...it put me in Slytherin!" Daichi sat Mr.Duckles on the table behind his plate and grabbed the soup close by. So far he had only eaten two cookies from Kurumi. He was about to taste the soup with a spoon when he laughed, spluttering the soup on the table and back plate. "I'm not Duckles! this is Mr!. Duckles" he pointed at the plushed duck in front of him. "I'm Daichi! ...your slow, Steven" he stuck his tongue out and continued to eat when...

Wait his name is Alex? Daichi frowned at him and held his head to the side. "Really? you look more like a steven to me..." He gazed at Steven Alex with a blank expression maybe a bit too long, before he shrugged his shoulders. "uhm.. By the way, do you know if first years can play Quidditch?" Yes, he knew he blurted the question out out of nothing but he wanted to know!. He wanted to be a Quidditch player!

Mordred stared. "So if you say you get along well with boys because you're charming, does that mean that I intimidate the female specie?" Mordred asked with a chuckle. "I really don't get it." he then scouted the table for other male first year Slytherins.

"So you cook? Well. It's expected." Mordred shrugged. "I'd appreciate a good looking and yummy cake from you on my birthday, then." he said. "Minus whatever potion you're planning to put in it." he added.

Mina smiled innocently as she squeezed his hand back. She did always like to be right and when it came to her Evan it was no different. Finally being back with him was just what she needed and no one was really going to part them again. Yes, it was his last year at Hogwarts and she had one more; but they had this term and things were going to be different. She was well aware of how close she was to losing him and she wasn't about to allow that to happen again.

Shaking her head, she smiled up at him. She was the ultra studious one in the relationship, but that was a given. "Well, I'll be looking for you in those classes and whilst you train I'll be there doing my coursework." she teased. With all the studying she wanted to catch up on, she was sure she would be busy. "I'll just have to come out and watch you train whilst studying." She could always multi-task and all. Her studies were of utmost importance to her, but so was Evan.

Glancing around, she shrugged a little. "It feels the same, but all the new faces add to the change." It was logical for that to be an element, but with new students came new magic and that always changed things. Eyeing a few people, she then turned her eyes to the staff table. "I see the staff has changed a lot more." That was so a given, but she did take much notice of it. In her three year, she had the pleasure of being taught by some of the best professors, in her opinion, and now she didn't see some of them. That made her rather sad.

"Ahh, the Daunting Mordaunt! Why of course!" She laughed. "Not intimidating, no. Girls just like to talk, some of us, and you're very quiet at first. But to be brutally honest, I don't get it either, and I am a girl.

She opened her mouth to ask all sorts of questions about his favourite cakes and then he mentioned the potion thing. "I wasn't thinking that! But if you like I can always knock up something quick. I've got a tiny phial of moonstone somewhere, I could make something nasty." She grinned wickedly. "Well, if you insist. I suppose I can hold back on the felix felicis and keep it for myself." she teased. She wasn't planning on making any in the first place, it was much too difficult, she'd never attempted it without the watchful eye of Hilda or her mother. And even then she'd only accomplished it once. With a lot of help. "I know a couple of good poisons though if that's what you're suggesting?"

Aww it was really cute how Iris' eyes spaklrd when she talked about Aaron.It probably sounded silly but somehow their story reminded her of the blonde's and hugo's."Oh my glitter i soo know how hard it can be to get together",she laughed a little.It was ridiculous how long it had taken her to even realize she had feelings for the ravenclaw.

Four years and a half,wow.That sounded like a really long time.But it actually only showed that Aaron and Iris belonged together.Was it like tha with Fee and Hugo too?The girl really hoped so because she coulnt imagine her live without him anymore."You two look so cute together i can so imagine you getting married and having babies",the third year winked and chuckled a little.Their kids would be soooooo pretty.Hehe.


"See it isnt that bad give yourself some time Willy",Fee winked.A rough start didnt mean a bad time.Everyone needed to start with nothing and wait a little.Everything would be fine,the blonde was sure."He didnt say we cant be friends",she shook her head,"he would never do that.He might not like it too much but yeah."it was sad that they didnt get along to well."Ohh yeeees Peyton is missing",the third year nodded,"i am sure we'll have a lot of fun during the term."The three had so much fn at Diagon Alley,nowwwww was time to make Hogwarts funny.

Damn.No way.Oh this was not good.Not good at all.Fee was staring at her boyfriend.Well more at his lips,but this was sooo embarrassing.If he noticed she would be dead.Blinking a little the blonde tried to focus on something else."I prefer pumpkin juice but okay",she chuckled a little quickly looking to her goblet.Yeees,good spot to focus.Waiiiit,did he just admit he was cute? Nooow,this day was weird.Seriously,something was really,really different."Mhhh, well i guess you dont to hear me saying that you are then huh?",the third year chuckled a little.Just another fact that was different,the two seemed to be very flirty today.Maybe it was the start of the new term?!She had some cutness points too?"I do?",she beamed,"makes us a good match then."of course they were,not to say they were the BEST.Noticing how he quickly looked away from the Gryffindor table again, the Slytherin smiled a little."Its okay Hugo",Fee said.He shouldnt feel bad about it.

Awwww,there was someone for whom it was worth waiting for?Hearing these words coming out of her boyfriends mouth made the blonde melt immediately.It was proved that she had to be the luckiest girl on earth again.

Fee just giggled a little as the Ravenclaw blushed,he was so cute when he felt unsure or was embarrassed.Even though there was nothign to be unsure or embarrassed about.A warm feeling flooded her as the girl felt Hugo's lips on her cheek.This had to be the best feeling ever.Snuggling into his arm a little Fee sighed happily.He loved her.Wow.

"Danielle, who did you room with at Beauxbaton?" Isabelle asked she was for sure not rooming with her. Isabelle had roomed with Jessy, Marie, Adele, Anna, and Leah. But, she knew she recognized Danielle from some classes. She must have roomed at the other end.

Daunting Mordaunt. He liked it. "Yes, you girls can't stop talking sometimes. I remember mum talking nonstop over dinner, me and father were just exchanging looks. When I was about to sleep I can still hear her talk to my dad, and father would reply with grunts." Mordred laughed. His parents were an odd couple, but they were the best parents ever.

"I'll ask you to end my misery, personally if you wish." Mordred grinned. "What else can you do with a cauldron aside from the usual potion and cakes?" he asked. He has got to learn how to cook soon though. He can't just depend on Calen to prepare his meals forever.

"I know this, I have my moments. I can be quiet though." She mimed zipping her lip. "However, sometimes life is just to dull without words. My parents don't really talk all too much." She shrugged, she loved them but they could be a nuisance sometimes.

"I never said the poison was for you. It can just be... fun. To make I mean, I've never killed anyone. Just some ants. Oh, and a bird, accidentally." She still felt a little guilty about it. But it had decided to eat the poisoned food she was testing on the ants.

"Not loads, give me a recipe and I'll cook it but I only really memorised cakes. I can make pretty good pasta I suppose. I never really had to cook for myself though, but I can if needs be. Maybe I should learn more." And then she could cook the BEST meal ever for her next birthday. Mmmm, with cake.

"It's just my mum who often talks. Father just listens with the occasional 'mhm' and 'mmm'. Mum never complained though. She loves to talk." Mordred shook his head.

Mordred smiled. "The thing is, I don't have any recipe. I don't know how to cook." he said. "You should let me and Selador taste your cooking, then. Right Selador? More food." he nudged Selador who was still eating mashed potatoes.

Samira crossed one leg over the other and scanned the Great Hall. There were so many new first years! And they were so cute! The happiness of not being part of the youngest, and most inexperienced years at Hogwarts was amazing. Now she could be one of the older ones, possibly a tutor or mentor. The thought made her grin to herself. Ah... it was good to be back.


Samira grinned. Alright! So she didn't reject the idea. Good thing she didn't, because Samira wasn't used to (and didn't know how to deal with) rejection. It was one of her weaknesses she would never admit out loud. "My holiday was pretty great," answered Samira. It was a bit of a stretch, since she was so tired of traveling every time she wasn't at Hogwarts, but she couldn't say it wasn't interesting. "We toured Asia and Antarctica." That was not a memory she wanted to repeat. All the snow, and the cold, and the ice! The penguins were cute though...."What about you? Do anything special?"


Samira raised one sardonic eyebrow. "Did I stutter. This is the best House you could hope to be in." Of course, the other Houses may tend to disagree with that statement, but Samira knew it was true. Samira tried to keep herself from showing any annoyance or anger at the 'mean house' comment. She hated, hated, hated when some people would stereotype and label the Slytherin House just because of what they think they know or see. History is just that. History. There are no dark Wizards anymore, and some of the nicest people Samira met were fellow Slytherins. She decided to say just that. "Listen, I don't know what you've heard, or what other people may have told you, but Slytherin is not a house for the 'mean' people. Like I said, some just judge us because of our high ambition." Last time Samira checked, wanting to win was not a crime. Or classified you as 'mean'. She took a deep breath and said in a less fierce, more kind and reassuring tone, "I promise you, you'll make a lot of great friends in Slytherin." Starting with Samira, if and only if she cut all of the Slytherin bashing nonsense. "Most all the students are really nice. All I'm saying is, don't judge something you haven't experienced yet." Kind of like the saying 'don't judge a book by its cover', but Samira would never say a Muggle quote out loud.

The second year Snake also didn't mention how there were come snobs, and ones who thought they were better than others, but she could find that out on her own.

She glared again when the other girl started listing off practically all the other Houses. And why would anyone want to be in Hufflepuff? It didn't make sense? She tactfully skimmed over this part of the conversation and said evenly, "Hogwarts really is something to be excited about." That was an understatement. "You're right, I really do enjoy it, and I think you will too." Despite your lack of Slytherin Pride, Samira wanted to add, but didn't. She's warm up to the idea...eventually. "So where did you go before Hogwarts?" asked Samira conversationally.

Alright, so the boat ride to the school was NOT fun. And waiting around in line with bunch of eleven year olds, was also NOT fun. The Sorting Hat was, weird to say the least but it was okay. The Great Hall...overcrowded as it was, Hallie loved the Great Hall. As she sat there she looked around, looking at the students from Slytherin. She definitely didn't like snakes, but she could handle being called a snake for one year, and then she was getting OUT. Looking at her plate that she had filled with food, she still hand't touched anything off of it. She was still weary about eating food that she didn't know was safe to eat or not. What if she got sick?

Faith ate by herself, ignoring most of what was going on around her. She was always straight foreward, but of someone wanted to talk to her, they would. She took a bite of chilen and decided she was done.

He watched Lexi take her hand and quelled a deep sigh, staring at the gap between his hands, still feeling the warm softness of hers. It seemed to him that at every turn he kept doing and saying all the wrong things, and for the first time ever he started to have doubts whether he was cut out for any of this....

He pushed the plate in front of him away, his appetite ebbing with whatever light amusement he had a second earlier. He rested his chin against his palm as his eyes drifted to the entrance of the Great Hall, thinking of just skipping dinner and heading back to the common room early when he heard this....

Ahoy?

He sat up straighter, suddenly remembering that newspaper article that had got him all curious and excited just before he left for the US. He had forgotten about the mysterious ship that was supposed to be moored at the Lake. He turned his head at the voice and saw an unfamiliarface to the Slytherin table. "Ahoy yourself." he greeted the girl "You new hear?"

Daichi had started to feel tired. He wanted the feast to end so that he could get in his bed in the common rooms. He had heard from his older brother that the Snake rooms where in the dungeons which made him both nervous and curious at the same time. Oh well, it didn't matter as long as he had a bed and it was warm.

The young Slytherin looked around him. Maybe he could talk to some more people? To make time fly. His eyes found a girl who was looking around also. She looked like his age but still a bit older. She had the look of "knowing" on her face whether the first years would look a bit shy or in awe. Yup , this wasn't a first year. Daichi picked his plushed ducky up from the table and walked with slow, slightly hestitant steps towards the girl. What if she didn't like him? "Uh..hello" Daichi stood behind the girl and smiled at her a bit shyly. He pressed Mr.Duckles against him while biting his lip. He wasn't that much of a conversation starter. "Can i sit here?" he asked and pointed at the empty space next to the girl. She must think he is weird for standing up from a place to walk to another and asking if he could sit.....but he didn't care, maybe he could make a new friend~

Samira glanced up to see a boy a bit younger than herself, shyly asking to sit. Definitely a first year, that much was obvious. How ironic. Here she was, thinking about first years, and one just appeared. Samira shrugged and sat up. She decided to be nice, since the little firstie was obviously nervous. "Go ahead." She was about to say something else when she spotted the...was that a duck he was holding at the feast? She raised one eyebrow in question, but decided not to say anything. Hopefully, she could help this kid out. In case some people wanted to mess with him and his duck.

"You just volunteered yourself as a test subject." She laughed wickedly. "Right then. First project: Chocolate Cake Cookies. They look amazing, I can never get them quite right, it's like a cross between cake and cookies. So, you know, heaven..."
She looked up, coming out of her reverie. "And it wont all be nice, I'm warning you now."

"It's nice to meet you too, Lara", he said. "I actually met Elle in Diagon Alley", he added with a smile. Cody did hang around with more girls than he did guys at times but he didn't really have any problem with that. It was something he had always done. "I'm in my fourth year", he told Lara. "A year younger", he repiled.

"I'm not sure. I would love too but I always seem to be busy doing something else", he answered. "That's what I think too. Then you have to do a fair bit of training and it gets too much", he said.
