She opened her mouth to ask all sorts of questions about his favourite cakes and then he mentioned the potion thing. "I wasn't thinking that! But if you like I can always knock up something quick. I've got a tiny phial of moonstone somewhere, I could make something nasty." She grinned wickedly. "Well, if you insist. I suppose I can hold back on the felix felicis and keep it for myself." she teased. She wasn't planning on making any in the first place, it was much too difficult, she'd never attempted it without the watchful eye of Hilda or her mother. And even then she'd only accomplished it once. With a lot of help. "I know a couple of good poisons though if that's what you're suggesting?"
Daunting Mordaunt. He liked it.
"Yes, you girls can't stop talking sometimes. I remember mum talking nonstop over dinner, me and father were just exchanging looks. When I was about to sleep I can still hear her talk to my dad, and father would reply with grunts." Mordred laughed. His parents were an odd couple, but they were the best parents ever.
"I'll ask you to end my misery, personally if you wish." Mordred grinned.
"What else can you do with a cauldron aside from the usual potion and cakes?" he asked. He has got to learn how to cook soon though. He can't just depend on Calen to prepare his meals forever.
