Oh well, it didn't matter as long as he had a bed and it was warm.
The young Slytherin looked around him. Maybe he could talk to some more people? To make time fly. His eyes found a girl who was looking around also. She looked like his age but still a bit older. She had the look of "knowing" on her face whether the first years would look a bit shy or in awe. Yup , this wasn't a first year. Daichi picked his plushed ducky up from the table and walked with slow, slightly hestitant steps towards the girl. What if she didn't like him? "Uh..hello" Daichi stood behind the girl and smiled at her a bit shyly. He pressed Mr.Duckles against him while biting his lip. He wasn't that much of a conversation starter. "Can i sit here?" he asked and pointed at the empty space next to the girl. She must think he is weird for standing up from a place to walk to another and asking if he could sit.....but he didn't care, maybe he could make a new friend~
Samira glanced up to see a boy a bit younger than herself, shyly asking to sit. Definitely a first year, that much was obvious. How ironic. Here she was, thinking about first years, and one just appeared. Samira shrugged and sat up. She decided to be nice, since the little firstie was obviously nervous.
"Go ahead." She was about to say something else when she spotted the...was that a
duck he was holding at the feast? She raised one eyebrow in question, but decided not to say anything. Hopefully, she could help this kid out. In case some people wanted to mess with him and his duck.
