Slytherin House Table Eat, drink, and be merry, O Snakes, for tomorrow the term begins. |
Aurora walked into the great hall, eyes widened with excitement. She was the first one here by the looks of it, she had lost Mordred and Lulu when they got off the train. She had to make an effort not to run as she headed for the Slytherin table and sat down. Oh she was so excited! She hoped Mordred or Selador or someone would spot her when they entered the hall. |
Rain walked into the hall, her feet stuttering in steps. All around her an ancient aroma could be felt. Looking around, she spotted no one she knew. It's not like she knew any other first year anyway. Dancing on her toes she went over to the Slytherin table and ackwardly sat down, again swinging her Chucks back and forth, each time releasing nervousness. She began to settle into the excitment when others started pouring into the hall. |
Anyone (: Grumble. Mumble. Hmpth. Slytherin. Really? She was placed into the house that was symbolized by a slimy reptile as opposed to a fiery, cuddly lion. What a travesty. It was a good job that this hall was so beautiful to look at, enough to distract her from a full fit of rage, at least. Rozanna was sitting down at the Slimy-Slytherin table and was keeping a watchful eye on whoever was going to join her. After all, this was the house that she'd be spending the next 5 years with. Might as well... get to know the residents. If that was the right word. Tap, tap, tap... Her fingers tapped against the table as she waited for something to happen. Someone to speak, food to appear, a bolt of lightening. Rozanna was bored. |
Lila walked into the Great Hall with excitement. Wow the castle really was everything that she had dreamed it would be. She took her seat at the Slytherin table and looked around. Despite her prejudices she was impressed by the wide variety of people who occupied the Great Hall, everyone looked so different. She had grown up knowing only her family, and was glad that she would get the chance to meet new people... and prove her awesomeness. |
Connor walked over to the Slytherin table after having been sorted into Slytherin house. He looked up and watched the rest of the sorting and then smiled as the food appeared on the plates. He was hungry. He filled his plate and took a bite of Salad and waited for one of his friends to speak to him or something. He looked up and saw little Lila, waving her over he smiled at her happily. |
For all the snakes ;) OHMERLIN!!! She, Peyton Xiomara Baltazar got sorted into SLYTHERIN! The eleven year old could hardly contain her excitement. She skipped all the way to the green table and stopped once she had reached it. There were several people there, but then realized she didn't know anyone there. O_O She straightened her robes and cleared her throat. Time to make her debut. "Hi, everyone!" she greeted everyone at the table. Might as well, since she was going to be sharing a common room with these people. |
As Sierra strolled into the Great Hall for the start of term feast, she glanced quickly behind her. She'd left Hissy Fit, her kneazle, with her luggage, and the poor creature had been hissing angrily as she sat stowed away in her little carrier. Sierra frowned, hoping her pet was alright. She wasn't usually this concerned about anyone or anything else, but the kneazle had taken a liking to her and didn't seem comfortable at all around nearly everyone else. Shoving the book she'd been trying to read on the train deep into the pockets of her robes, Sierra took a seat at the house table. For a few brief seconds, her eyes scanned the staff table. Oh, great--that lazy excuse of a professor was back again. Oh, yes, you--the one who made us service all the school brooms and clean up the filthy, deserted greenhouses. At least he was a good Flying instructor and Quidditch official, though. There were a few new faces, but Sierra would get around to figuring out who they were once classes got underway. For now, she turned her attention to her own house table. Ahh, Slytherin--her safe haven away from Hufflepuffs, annoying Gryffindors, and spastic Ravenclaws. |
Adrianna took a deep breath and gently made her way to the end of the Slytherin table. She did NOT like sitting in the middle of a crowd. She sighed and sat down, then reached for a slice of Shepard's pie, and some gravy. She smiled began eating, for she was STARVING! Wasn't her fault, oh no. She just...didn't eat anything all day and half of yesterday. Okay, maybe it WAS her fault. She looked around to try and spot some familiar faces. |
As usual, Lulu looked up at the Enchanted Ceiling as she walked into the Great Hall. She opened her mouth to it, sticking out her tongue and making disagreeable noises. The Enchanted Ceiling thought it was a big shot, hanging over them with its superior magic. Lulu Patterson would shot it one day that he wasn't the hottest thing at Hogwarts--one day, in any case which wasn't anywhere near today. She shrugged in defeat and looked forward as to not trample any first years. She saw Aurora when she reached the table and was pleasantly surprised. "Slytherin was the right choice," she whispered when she dropped on a seat next to her. "Always the right choice. In any case, way better than the Badger Burrow or the Hen House. I don't know what everyone looks so grumpy about," finished the older girl in a murmur. The one savagely attacking her chicken clearly was either starving or had some kind of grudge against dead poultry. "Hullo," greeted Lulu cautiously. Over eager first years always scared her. You never knew what was going on inside their thick little skulls. "Have some chicken," she said taking the platter away from the one who was bird prejudiced. "Fill your stomach." Sir Robin suddenly climbed up to her shoulders and chattered loudly. He pointed his nose in the direction of an approaching figure. "Oi! GREINGOTH!" called out Lulu vociferously. "Sit by me! Sit by me! SIT. BY. ME!" instructed Lulu bossily, energetically pointing at the empty seat beside her. |

Dressed in his Hufflepuff robes, he wandered over to the Slytherin table in search of his sister. He *GASP* missed her and just wanted to say hey and see how she was doing. He was even willing to go into the snake pit (quite literally!) in order to see her. "Hey Sierra!" he called as he walked over to wear she sat. He plopped down on the empty bench next to her and smiled. "How's it going?" |

She glanced at the staff table, they were all unfamiliar. For a moment she dreamt of being at Durmstrang right now but there was nothing to be done. "You should make new friends" she thought. And then turned her head to the girl sitting opposite her and said: "Hello, my name is Biscenleona. How do you do?" with a warm smile on her face. |

Peyton sat down and scrunched her nose. The girl sounded like her step-mom. Noooo. "I'm not hungry, thanks." nope, Peyton was too excited to eat...and she had eaten too many sweets on the train ride. The girl looked to her left, then to her right...then left...then right. "I'm Peyton," she introduced herself, not knowing what else to do. Was this it? They just sit and eat. Hmpf. That wasn't fun. |

Plithsev walked towards the Slytherin Gouse Table. She was still wearing glasses and had her blond hair cropped. She sat down at the table, still thinking about that creepy lady she met in Knochturn Alley. She had ordered her to find out about the ship. Why? And so Plithsev wasn't really paying attention as she sat down. She absentmindedly flicked her wand and blue sparks flew from it. |

"Hey! Are you a first year too?" She casually tossed back. Time to be social. Rain was used to putting herself "out there" in dance but not like this girl. She kind of admired her for breaking the silence surrounding the newbies. She had convinced herself all these years that she was to be just naturally loved upon first meeting her but she wondering if the world she made up in her mind could be painted into reality. The self-convincing and such would be put to the test. She played it out in her head. Rain VS Lonliness. Who would win? She looked around the scattered array of students to see if she could pick out any other youngings. |
Making her way through the crowds of students, TJ found a few empty seats at her table. She'd lost Matt in all the busyness of getting from the train to there, and hoped she'd spot him soon. Taking a seat she looked around her at the new and old faces, giving a small smile to a few she recognized. |

"Hullo Peyton," she said back before pointing at her chest. "Name's Lulu Patterson. I'm yer senior." Only by two years but that was irrelevant. Lulu reached up to pluck away the black footed ferret trying to burrow into her hair. "And this is Sir Robin. He has kind of a fancy for shiny trinkets and things so you best be putting 'em away if you value 'em at all." |

An excited person like her. "Yup! I'm guessing you're one too?" Peyton smiled. She was a FIRSTIE and proud of it. Her daddy had told her to keep her head held high and to trust no one and that's what she was doing...kind of. The holding her head held high she was doing. "I'm Peyton by the way." she's been saying her name a lot lately. Hehe! Quote:
Peyton narrowed her eyes when she saw a fluffy creature at the girls neck. Her eyes then widened, it was a FERRET. Oooh, she wanted to pet it. "He's cute." now she wished he had brought Iris with her instead of leaving her with her other belongings. "Hi there Sir Robin." she cooed. CUTE. He likes shiny things? Well, so did Peyton and she didn't like sharing them. Her hands went up to her pierced ears and covered them with red hair. Hehe. He wouldn't get his paws or claws or whatever he had as hands on her pretty earrings. |
TO YOU ALL <3 Yes, all of you. GIGGLE. GIGGLE. GIGGLE. Minnie was HERE, yes she was at the school and ready to LEARN. The blonde shuffled her feet a bit awkwardly, looking around the table. There was nobody she knew. Then again, she was new so really she knew no one. She stared wide eyed at the table, attempting to suppress and giggling and failing. SHE COULDN'T HELP IT. D: she was just naturally giggly. So she just kind of stood in front of the table before clasping her hands together, smiling widely. OH YES. POINTS FOR THE CHARMING SMILE."HAIIIIII."She called out to EVERYONE."I'm Minnie, I'm a third year and well, I'm a Sl..Sl..Slytherinininn?"She looked at her robes and then back at everyone at the table before shrugging and giggling."Anyway, I'm new and I know no one so like..... LETSBECOMEBESTFRIENDS, K?"She beamed, holding two thumbs up. Always the charmer, Minnie Petrov was. |

"Hi I'm Connor." "I didn't either till now, I was a Drumstrang transfer and had to be sorted too." He grinned as he replied to Lila. He leaned over and hugged his new little friend. "This is definitely going to be a cool year. I think I definitely got into the best house." He smiled at her. "I hope our common room is nice." He took another bite of his salad. Quote:

Samira's bright eyes scanned the hall, looking for an empty space. Finally, she found one. The young Slytherin sauntered over confidently. There was another girl about her age who was tapping her fingers. She looked quite bored. Samira didn't think she's ever seen the girl before, made her way over. She sat down without waiting or asking to be invited. "Hello," she said coolly. "I don't think I've seen you around. Samira Spinks." she introduced herself, sitting up straighter. |

Thais walked purposefully over to the Slytherin table, holding her chin high. She was proud of where she'd ended up. Luckily the most bitter house rivalries were of the past, so there was nothing to worry about, really. She sat down in an empty seat and looked curiously at her fellow housemates who ranged from hyperactive to shy. |
