He didn't look all that familiar, but Mina wasn't one to stray away from meeting new people. "I take it, you are new?" It was a valid question for the most part. She could have been wrong, but that was the risk she would take. "Welcome to Ravenclaw. I'm Mina, by the way." |

"Hello" she smiled waving slightly, "congratulations on getting into Ravenclaw" she smiled, not knowing the little girl's name. |

"How did you begin to suspect you may be a witch?" he asked Emerald. He wondered if she had as good a story. Gavin stomach growl loudly... He was getting hungry. |

He was impressed with the amount of people he had met in a day. He just hoped he could keep everybody straight and not confuse the names. But Kana should not be a problem. She had red hair after all. |

SPOILER!!: Treyen and Dallin <3 Ellie BEAMED at Dallin. So he DID like Quidditch... "YOU need to try out, then. This term." Do it. And, she'll press the matter further later, because World Cup talk trumped Hogwarts Quidditch. Mmmm, yeah jealousy. Uber jealous. Ellie nodded to show she was listening. And that Treyen should continue in GREAT detail. Please. BEAM. Of course, that was no surprise. You most likely couldn't describe a Quidditch World Cup as being anything OTHER than 'awesome'. It just happened that way. But the outcome...SIGH. "Next year." Nod. Next year, they will win. Optimistic Ellie. GASPPP "He did?!" Woahh. Vindi back out in the Pro-Quidditch world... That must...suck, actually... To be on the pitch, but not playing. Still, awesome. Aw shuckkkss. He should NOT have thought of her. Not at the World Cup. There was no thinking allowed, just watching. Tsk, tsk, Treyen. Buuuut if it got her a present in the end....heh. Blink. Blink. What? Ellie eyed the picture in his hand. The one with signatures on it. And just stared. Stared. |

"How did you parents react when they found out about you being a witch?" |
joining you. XD Text Cut: Dallin Text Cut: Eliana =P Wait...he did like Quidditch? That was always a plus, he was starting to like--Ellie was beaming at the boy? Yeah, then no, Dallin, sorry, we don't like you. There was, of course, the chance of Ellie beaming at the fact that someone else liked Quidditch, after all, she did love the sport. But Treyen's mind at the moment decided not to accept that. No, he was not forgetting Dallin's question, he was only thinking on the fact that if the boy did try out, as Ellie suggested, and then both of them got on the team, well, that would mean...extra hours of Quidditch practice together. Just...great. Could someone please come and get him away from this table? Anyone, really, he'd take Kaia anytime now. So, eh, back to Dallin, "Of course," he said, the nicest tone possible, "And do you have a favorite team, Dallin?" only one. Not three, like Ellie. The fifth year was going to nod when, wait, what? "Next year? It happens every four years, Ellie," he chuckled, otherwise it would be very exhausting for the players, and for the fans as well. And for Vindictus, because the man was getting old. "He did, and he was far too different from the Hogwarts game, he looked...even more fierce, and scary, if that's possible," and had the whole Pro-Quidditch attitude that came with old Quidditch legends. Clearly, Treyen's father was an exception. Why was she staring at the picture like that, though? Those Quidditch players were only hanging out and smiling at whoever took the picture. He actually took it back and eyed it, in case he'd mistake the picture with another one, but no, that was the right one. "It's yours." Hand extended to her again. "Something wrong?" was there something really wrong? |
Tibi-crashing! Tiberius had been hesitating. He'd found a seat by himself for the ride up, avoiding most of the students, and had lingered as much as he could before finally arriving at the Ravenclaw table. Hands deep in his pockets, he looked around, spying first years and returning faces that seemed somehow familiar but that he couldn't really place. Three years changed kids a lot, it seemed. Sighing, he wandered up to the table and... was that? He narrowed his eyes in focus, for a moment. He thought he'd seen him in Diagon Alley, but hadn't made it over. Deciding it must be Treyen, he took a deep breath. Walking up to the Hufflepuff, hands still in pockets, he smiled and waited for a lull in the conversation. He wondered if he'd be recognized. |

Truth be told, he regretted wishing so, because he didn't want to leave Ellie with Dallin, which was STUPID, because they were bound to climb the stairs up to their Common Room, and...Treyen couldn't get inside the Common Room, see? That would be extra tricky. Not to mention completely bizarre... ...why was he thinking this stuff? The boy shook his head as if to clear his mind, and then turned to face the newcomer. Er, the boy seemed remotely familiar...but he didn't know him, or so he thought, "Yes? Can we help you with something?" like, why was a Hufflepuff talking to a Ravenclaw that way when he was the one out of place? |
*giggles* Text Cut: Both of ya Dallin grinned back at Ellie for a second, holding a laugh in. She already knew he liked Quidditch and -- his eyes widened when she mentioned trying out. He shrugged one shoulder before Ellie went on talking to Treyen. He had a feeling he wasn't going to get out of it so easy. He didn't exactly know how he felt about trying out for the team. "Puddlemere United," He answered automatically, looking back at the Puff. He stopped himself from adding the Holyhead Harpies. He didn't really support that team, but it was one of his favorites. "I don't see them play much, though, what with having muggle parents and whatnot..." He could imagine what would happen if he asked his parents if he could go to a Quidditch game. The look on his dad's face would be hilarious. "What about you?" He listened to them talk about the professor for a while before tuning out. When was the headmaster gonna give his speech? Dal was hungry! |
SPOILER!!: Treyen What, what? Not able to help eavesdropping, Ivory craned her neck just the tiniest bit to listen. He'd gone to the Quidditch World cup? How awesome! Most definitely beat her summer by a mile. Scratch that by thousands of miles. And he'd gotten her a gift. Resisting the urge to let slip an "aww," Ivory looked purposefully away. Like to the Staff table...perhaps she should go make pleasantries soon. SPOILER!!: Ellie SPOILER!!: Dallin Joy. The sarcasm in that one word was impressive. Grinning, she gave a nod. He was preaching to the choir. It was the one thing she was worried about for this term. Her face lighting up in interest, she cradled her chin in her hand still maybe sort of watching the pair out of the corner of her eye. Did Ellie like the gift? Hmm? "Merlin's Acadamy of Magic? Oh, I've heard of that place." A few of the graduating students from the previous year had been transfers from there come to think of it in their fourth year as well. Was it a coincidence? Who knew. "Why'd you transfer?" she asked attentively. Maybe there was some sort of something that happened in a students third year there that made them want to transfer. Some sort of crazy initiation. Realizing the question probably sounded horribly blunt as if she didn't think he should be here, she gave a small nervous laugh. "Not that it's not great that you did, I just wondered the why. Which," she continued on hurriedly. "you don't have to answer if...you don't want to." |

"Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt. Treyen?" His voice clearly betrayed that he wasn't sure if it was actually Treyen... He paused, wondering how to explain. "My name's Tiberius. I don't know if you'd remember me... I transferred out a few years ago." He wasn't sure why he was so nervous. Except for when he spied the prefect badge. Merlin, lots had changed around here. He'd hoped he'd be able to slip right back into the swing of things, but that was obviously not going to be the case. |

Tibi! EEEEEEE!! SPOILER!!: Treyen *eyeroll* SPOILER!!: Dal YES, Dallin. You WILL try out. .... Oh. Merlin. She knew that. She knew that. The redhead mentally kicked herself in the butt. She was blaming her cousins. Again. Good thing they weren't here to know that she blamed them for pretty much every negative thing that's happened since summer. Though she knew it wasn't REALLY their fault. "Oh man." She would've loved to see that. Loved to. Cousins. Ugh. The picture. Right. Ellie still didn't take it. She stared at it a bit more, biting her lip. More for the reason that she wasn't sure what would come out of her mouth if she opened it. "Mine?" "I...I," she shook her head and looked at Treyen. She would SO cry right now if she wasn't Ellie Stone. Like seriously. And she still didn't take the picture. She didn't believe it. It was like...too much EPICness that...it couldn't be hers. So... yeah. She just couldn't move her hand. However, Ellie could move her head, and she turned to look at the boy...Tiberius... that approached Treyen. Waiting. |

Hearing Treyen's voice question someone nearby, Ivory turned in her seat long brown hair fanning over her shoulders in the process. Chin uplifted, to smile a greeting to the person she paused. Large brown eyes stared at the newcomer, and she found herself blinking a few times as she tried to place him. "Tibi?" She asked questioningly as he offered his name. Was it really him? No way. Wow. It'd been...years really. |
Becca walked into the great hall taking a seat at her house table. A first year following the family tradition. She smiled at the pople around her not sure who they were but knowing she had all the time in the world now to figure just that out. |
