Hmm...well...now who was this younger lion cub? Hmmm...it was interesting that Josh could not recognise her but whatever...he smiled and winked at the girl rather happily totally ignoring the sarcasm in her voice. ''Eh...i might be.'' then he said running a hand through his hair ''But unfortunately not as much as you are.''

Gah! Now what was that? His hand quickly finding the point on his face that had been poked, the Gryffindor boy's dark brown gaze quickly moved away from the younger lions towards the direction that the major attack had come, only to find one of his favourite Slytherins. Destiney. Bahahahahahahaha! Narrowing his eyes at the girl playfully, Josh snorted when she actually yelled, which meant being loud, to ask why he was loud.

''Hmmm...what? Me? Loud? NO WAY!!!'' he exclaimed with that famous smirk on his face ''I am just a poor, extremely shy boy. How can i ever be loud? It's so risky.'' Mahahahaha. But there was a problem: Josh Carter definitely did not like to be poked...with anything. And anything included carrots. What was she up to anyway? Did she want to create a second scar on his face?

So, eyeing the carrot in her hand, the boy raised an eyebrow at the she-snake and caught her wrist to stop the poking ''And just stop doing that, okay?''

Ah! Here came the exact man Josh had thought of avoiding for some time because he was certain that the captain dude, being his best friend and all, was surely going to ask about his face and was not going to give it up till he got a satisfying enough answer. This was Si. It was also not going to be easy to lie about it to him. Then, maybe it would all okay if he simply tried to ignore anything related to it and pretend he had not heard anything. Yeah, he was going to try his chance with that.

''Here i am'' Josh uttered smiling widely at the captain. It looked like he had not changed much during the summer. Eh...what did he expect anyway? Him changing the shape of his face? Pffft. That was stupid. Only Josh could do that and it required a single or double punch. ''No kicking. Spoken like a prefect again. Merlin! The term has not started yet!''

Nika sent a smile at the boy. Oh, so he's shy. "Hi! What's your name I told you mine." Nika raised an eyebrow as she asked. "So you like the food?" Nika giggled. She watched as he stuffed his face. "Yeah it's really good isn't it?"

Nika gave her friend a hug. She giggled as Emily mentioned the shirt. Good so she did like it after all. "I wish I could've seen you on the train! I was looking forward to meeting your owl! Maybe later we can go to the owlry and you can introduce me!" Nika smiled warmly. An owl. Wow. "Have you noticed how many first years there are this year?"

Nika couldn't help it and let out a giggle. "You alright there?" She smiled. "It was alright." Until the end, but other than her complications with her sister everything was nice. "What about yours? Where did you live again?" France did he say or?.... Bad memory.
"Oh wow." Nika couldn't believe that something like that could happen. Well the giant Squid doesn't really have a name, but my friend and I would call him Mr. Squides. It's our nickname for him." Nika smiled at cove. How she missed Rex. "Oh cool surfing! I really want to learn how to surf!" Nika wants to learn a lot of things... hehe.

" I promise I will not call Fee anything bad" William told Hugo. " I am not after yoru girlfreind" William said to Hugo. " Rex is not doing good, Rene just left him" William explained to Hugo. " I heard he swore off all girls forever" William sighed." Please, he would like Fee to come over to Jason's and you should come over,too" William just shrugeed.

Jordan turned around to see a couple people talking. He was a little lonely so he decided to disrupt his appetite and introduce himself to his new Housemate that he would be seeing throughout the year. "Hi, my name is Jordan. Jordan Kobe that is. I'm a first year Gryffindor, just like you."

"Hi!! I'm Elle Jackson. And that's awesome!" Elle replied. She loved getting to know her fellow classmates, so she added, "Where are you from?"

"Well, let's see. I was born in Los Angeles, California in the United States, but we moved to London a couple of years ago. So I was raised mostly in the US. Where are you from, Elle?"

"Hey, Elle! I'm a first year. What about you?" replied Ariella, excited that she finally had someone to talk to.

Matilda: Nice to meet you too.I shouldn't talk so much because I ate quite a lot in the train because I bought something to eatfrom the food cart and ate them and this feast came too fast for me and Oh my name is Matilda. What is your name?

"Los Angeles? That's cool! I've always wanted to visit the U.S.! I'm from Greenwich, born and raised." Elle said. Jordan seemed super friendly, and she'd like to get to know him better. "So, which classes are you excited for? I'm personally ready for Charms. It seems like it'd be a lot of fun. I've already read our book for it."



"I'm a first year also! This is great! We'll be in the same dormitory!" Elle couldn't wait to hang out with Ariella. Growing up with four brothers was okay, if you wanted to rough house all day, but she couldn't wait to see what it would be like living with girls. "So, where are you from?" asked Elle. Maybe they lived close enough to hang out in the summer too!

"My summer was... busy," Chris said, searching for the right words so she wouldn't be talking forever. "I played alot of Quidditch, went on trips everywhere with the parents, and tried to stay out of trouble." Trouble always seemed to find Chris, no matter what she did. Clumsiness and idiocy could really ruin stuff. "What about you?"

Hmm. Ignoring the sarcasm. It was almost like being sarcastic back. Chris could respect that. "Well, it's a difficult task to be cool like this," she said, laughing. "It just comes so naturally." She smiled quizically, still not knowing what she thought of this older boy.
"Hmmm.... well I think I can handle being friends," Chris said, smiling back at William. "Sounds like you have a lot of family around at least. I was completely alone when I came."

Emma smirked as he piled up more food on his plate. Hopefully he wouldn't spill that on himself or her. Oh Brae.. His friend was giving him the silent treatment? Some friend... "Oh, were you teasing him about his girlfriend or something? Hopefully, it will be better by the end of the week." she explained. Emma smiled as Brae smirked. It was a pretty good smirk almost Slytherin-ish. "By the way, you almost have the Slytherin smirk down pat. It's pretty good. It would be a seven out of ten." she said, nodding and smiling widely. She loved hanging out with Brae- he was just so fun and not to mention pretty good looking too.

The blonde smirked her signature Malfoy smirk when Brae snorted and then started chocking. O.o WAS HE CHOCKING!? Her heart beat quickened and she felt sick with worry. She blanched. No Brae couldn't die, leave her like this! "Brae. You okay? You scared me there." she explained, taking a deep breath in and out. She shook her head. "Don't be sorry. You were the one chocking. Yeah, so Alexbear could be a funny name. But its a very proper name. His name is Alex and he's like a teddy bear. Don't repeat that to him, promise?" she said quietly, leaning towards him, which could be a bad idea if he flung food at her. "Do you want a nickname? " she asked, poking her tongue out. "Yeah, she's lovely. She and Alexbear are a couple now."

The Malfoy girl beamed him a smile. SO SHE WOULD BE PAID! WITH HIS COMPANY! That was actually pretty, no- a really good deal. Hmmm... How about a butterbeer? "Sure, sounds pretty decent. But, how about a butterbeer as well?" she said, winking.

"Yeah it was surprising." Cove said. "I think that the fact that you named a giant squid is amazing! Do you think I could meet Mr. Squides?" She asked. "Really? Well if Mr. Squides wants to make us some waves I can teach you. But be warned I go into complete surfer lingo when I talk about or teach surfing, brah." Cove said with a wink.

" I'm really looking forward to Charms, DADA, and o course magical creatures as I am a big animal lover myself."

He looked over to see a kid he met on the train. Although people said he was a little weird he decided to say Hi to him "Hey Will. My name is Jordan, I don't know if you remember me but anyways, welcome to Gryffindor."

Elyon swept in to the Great Hall, overjoyed to be back at her real home. She didn't think she'd be returning, but now that she was here, she was sure she wouldn't let any time in seeing her few friends or studying be wasted. She sat back by herself, staring dreamily at the ceiling, clutching her butterbeer cork necklace in her hands. She knew that there was no mistletoe up at this time of year, but she wanted to be on the look for nargles.

As Elle was talking with Ariella and Jordan, she overheard a bit of yelling. She looked down the table and noticed a good looking upper classman. She remembered seeing him when she was at the staff table. He was handing out flowers to the professors. Which was sweet. she thought. He had a sort of annoyed look on his face. So, she glance at Ariella and Jordan, walked over to the older boy, and said "Hello, my name is Elle."

What am I doing?! she thought as the boy looked up at her. She was just hoping to meet some of the other people in her house, but she then thought that that probably wasn't the best move. This boy seemed very popular, and to hold a bit of power over the students. What if I just sealed my fate?

"How neat! I'm pretty excited for DADA myself! And I'm not too sure about Care of Magical Creatures...I know some magical animals aren't very nice, and I would rather stay away from them." Elle said with an anxious look on her face.

"Oh no, not his girlfriend," said Braeden as Emma asked why he had been teasing Riley, shaking his head slightly as he said so. "He's… a bit of a diva," started the boy again with the most amused of grins lighting up his face, "So he was kinda cranky during the train ride; I dunno why. I think something happened between him and Theo… anyway, I teased him about it but I think it only worsened his mood," the boy confessed with a laugh, as if ticking friends off was the most amusing and entertaining of hobbies. "No worries, though, Riley doesn't hold grudges very long. At least not with me; he's grown a soft spot for lil' ol' me," he added with a wink.
Yep. Braeden Stonem was VIP; it was hard to hate him.

"Don't worry about it, Em, if I ever decide to choke to death I'll make sure I do it as far away from you as possible. Wouldn't want to leave you with that horrible memory," said Braeden with a laugh as poor, innocent Emma showed concern over his minor choking episode. Hehehe. She was so cute when she worried, he kinda liked it. Didn't mean he'd purposely do things to worry her, though, 'cause that would just be plain mean.

The goofy Gryffindork couldn't help but laugh once more as Emma made him promise not to tell this Alex guy all the wonderful things she was saying about him. Oh Merlin, and she was awfully close to his face too…
Clearing his throat for a moment, his expression turning slightly flustered and his face the lightest shade of pink, Braeden had to force his brown eyes to look away and back to his plate. "Why, though? I'm sure he'd like to hear all these nice things you're saying. I know I'd certainly like to know when a friend of mine is saying nice things about me," he said with a smile before taking another bite from his meal.

Oooooh, and then she was asking him if he wanted a nickname.
Oh boy! He most certainly DID!
Looking like a child being offered cotton candy, Braeden turned his gaze back to Emma with the goofiest of grins. "I'd love that, actually. As long as it's nothing demeaning." Though he could honestly not imagine Emma ever calling him anything that wasn't nice; she was just… too sweet for such a thing. Though that Slytherinish smirk of hers could certainly send a shiver down his spine at times.

As Emma suggested he added butterbeer to her paycheck for babysitting him, Braeden raised his dark eyebrows for a moment before grinning. That sounded lovely, actually. "You got it," he promised her. "You, m'lady, are one well-paid babysitter, y'know that?"

Whilst helping himself to another mouthful of Roast Lamb, another youngling seemed to have a question for the Prefect, who swallowed his food, choking alittle, but otherwise quickly.
"Hello!" He grinned, "Once we are dismissed by the Head Master, Sophie and I will escourt all the first years and transfers to the Gryffindor Common Room, you will need to have us there just this once, as the Pink Lady, the portrait that guards our common room, will only open for the correct password!" He finished, hoping hadn't confused the girl, "Just stick with me after the feast and everything will be fine!"

Smiling as the ickle Eagle, so was no longer so ickle sat down, Patroclus laughed at the boy's comments, "Well we are the best house!" He nodded, "I am sure you could ask for a transfer" he joked, knowing that it was kinda impossible, and beside blue suited Hugo. "I had a great break, I went to Greece with my Parents, as well as Lexi and Salander, and then Jacob came later! We sailed the family yacht between the Greek Islands!" He was more than happy to boast about it! "What about you?", he asked, "How was your summer?"

"Well you know where we live now, so come over and take her off my hands whenever you want!" Patroclus knew there was some bad blood between Lexi and her family, so he was more than happy to offer his own mother, it was what friends did, and beside if it meant Pandora was off his case, all the better!

"Lexi not sound loud!" Patroclus laughed, not caring so much for the rules for as far as he knew there wasn't any to stop him, but for the fact he need the First Years, to believe that he was all responsible and .....stuff, "For that, the first pillow is coming your way!"



Having for the moment, answered all the question and remarks of those around him, Patroclus returned his attention to his plate of Roasted Lamb and delicious vegatable.

However as he saw an image of pure perfection walk past, he sat upright and smiled, ready for her to sit by his side.......however she didn't, she walked right past him, heading for loud mouth Josh. It seemed all the She Snakes preferred obnoxiousness over refinement.

The smile slide from his lips, and he returned to his dinner, alone.

"Yeah and the food here is really good!" Nika smiled happily. "The food here is the best! I especially like the chocolate pudding!" YUM. Like she didn't get enough sugar already.
"Yeah of course! He's really nice! I'm sure he'll like you." Nika said with a excited nod of the head. "You can? Oh Cove that would be awesome!" She had only known the girl for maybe less than 15 min and she was already willing to teach Nika how to surf. Hmm very nice indeed. "Surfer lingo? Like this, dude!" Wait is that surfer? Hmmmm?....

Nika was sitting away happily talking with her friends. She was so excited to be back at Hogwarts at last that she almost didn't realize that one of her friends was sitting all alone! "ELYYYYYYY" Nika ran towards her friend and plopped down next to her. "Hiya!" She smiled at her friend and noticed the cork necklace she was clutching tightly. "Oh I'm wearing mine too!" She took it out from where it was hiding under the neck of her shirt.

How she loved seeing the little butterfly that was on it. "Guess what?!?!" She reached down into her bag and pulled out a book. "I bought it when I was getting my supplies!" She wiped some remaining dust off of the cover so that the title could be read easily. "It's all about different languages used in the magical world! I thought I could learn how to sing in that gobblede-thing or even in mermish so that I could sing with you!" She giggled as she flipped through the pages. "I wasn't kidding about learning!"

Still holding the small puppy in his arms, Jayce eyed the table, not paying a wink of attention to the pup. He stroked the dog's fur blindly before reaching out for a fork and stabbing whatever food he could find along the table with it. He was HUNGRY. As he shoveled it into his mouth, he completely missed the puppy waking up and crawling away from the table.

Little Woody the Vizsla puppy bounded down from the table bench, weaving in and out of the feet that were making their way to seats around the room. Almost tripping over his soft paws that he had yet to grow into, the pup paused, turning his head this way and that as he surveyed the room. Unsure of where to go next, little Woody galloped towards the underside of the Gryffindor table where he licked and nibbled the shoes of some unsuspecting person.

After stuffing his face, the seventh year placed his hand in his lap, to stroke the soft orangey red fur of little Woody and was surprised to find that Woody was gone. GAAAASP.

"I most certainly will! She is just the most lovely woman ever!" Lexi gushed. She was actually going to do it, too! She adored Pandora! And her mother, the Denver mother, was not having much to do with her these days since she moved out... and not to mention they had never been that close anyway. Lexi always felt a bit out of place.

Shrugging her shoulders Lexi cast a glance around and said, "No rules saying we cannot do such a thing. There is nothing wrong with it, so why not announce it?" she said casually, completely unaffected by it all.

OOC: CLONE TIME FOR ROSE

Lexi had drifted further down the table for some peace and quiet since she and Rufus both were beginning to get a headache from all of the loud chatter. The little marmoset lay curled in her lap as she scratched his little belly. She was totally lost in her own thoughts and waiting for food. SIGH.

"Sweet! I don't think I've ever met a Giant Squid!" Cove said laughing. "Of course I can. I taught at the Surf Shack, I can teach anyone!" She said. "Kind of, but I mostly say 'brah' a lot...my friends know more. I'm too into the waves to learn the rest." Cove said with a laugh. "I mean I know it, I just only use it when I need too."

Selina was talking to a bunch of her friends when she saw a little blonde who seemed to be searching for something. A smile graced Selina's lips as she knew the small girl without even thinking. It was Elyie and she was back. Selina did not even waste a minute. She had heard when they had met up in Diagon Alley that her friend's father was better, but they had left on terms that had confused Selina as to whether or not Elyie would be back at Hogwarts. Here was her proof.

"Elyie!" Selina said running from her seat and engulfing her friend in a hug.

Selina was talking to her friends when she noticed a dog walking along the table. That could not have been sanitary. She looked for the source of where the dog may have come from when she saw someone looking for something- presumably their dog.

"Excuse me? Is this your dog?"

"Yeah I never met one until my first year here either. But don't worry he is super friendly! The name is just deceiving." He's not even that giant. Then again she's never met a giant before so maybe. "Oh that's really cool that you like surfing that much! I feel like that with football!"

Stomping over to the Gryffindor table, Evelyn ears were open for the loudest section of them all, but the anger and frustration built up inside her just made everywhere louder then it was.

Running her hands through her hair, she tucked on her dark brown locks as she stopped right in the aisle right at the end of the Gryffindor table, looking at the sea of red. Josh was there somewhere, but everyone looked the same right now, and she just...she just wanted to sit.

And right now, she was staring at another blond haired girl that she'd have rather avoided at all costs on any other day, but this time... Evelyn sighed dramatically and flopped down on the seat next to the girl, arms flung onto the table, and forehead plopping down on her arms as if they were pillows. After that...she huffed and sighed again as if to make a point that she was actually there if her previous sigh hadn't done the trick.

Before Elle could make her way up the table to the group of loud Gryffs, she stopped and said hello to random people, hoping to make friends. When she stopped the last time before she made it there, she said, "Hello! I'm Elle. I'm a first year, and was hoping to make a few friends." She said to the girl who just finished saying something about a giant squid....
