Emma laughed and grinned widely. Yeah, that was right. Actually, Emma would have like to know to. How Braeden would be? He would probably be fine except with food on his leg. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.

The blonde giggled. Ahh the pet dragon. Her brown eyes sparkled when she talked. "All right. And now are you sure about it? Aww you would. That is sweet. No, I don't breathe fire. Never tried actually." she exclaimed, laughing. T'was the truth, the blonde had never been a dragon.. maybe in another life? The blonde pushed back a strand of hair that had fallen on her face. Grr...

"Awesome! I'm glad. Which house are those guys in? I don't think I've met them before." she cried. She loved meeting new people, 100 watt smile time. Speaking of another a hundred watt smile, she shone one at him. The blonde Malfoy nodded. "I was pretty hungry too. I met up with Fee, a friend of mine, well she's my fake sister in Slytherin. Have you met her? She's lovely. Sadly, I didn't see Alexbear or Ellie Johansen." she explained.

The blonde tried to remember what they had been talking about at Sugarplums. "So do I get paid for being your babysitter?" she asked playfully sticking her tongue out at him. Smirk.

Matt sat down at the Gyffindor table, his head hanging low. There were so many people. Hundreds...thousands. It was terrifying.

He pushed his fringe out of his eyes, and tried to focus on the splendour of food spread out in front of him. But try as he might, his nerves kept getting the better of him. That was until he finally managed to reach out and grab a large, steaming pumpkin pastie.

His nose itched threatingly. He sniffed, and poked futilely at his plate.

"No problem!" she smiled and took a bite out of a sausage. "Yeah, Happy's really nice when he's... well, Happy!" She really loved that owl, but he was like a child and if he didn't get his own way. Which usually involved lots of owl pellets and free flying for hours.

She laughed at what Emily told about her sister.
"That reminds me, I'll probably be getting a howler next week or so. Once he, and the goblins, find the dungbombs and fireworks I put in there cases!" She laughed again. "Have give them something to remember me by!" Elaine grinned at Emily and then continued eating.

'Yeah, totally... I'm gonna go visit her!' Rose brightened up

Rosemary cocked her head, "If I said my full name, it would become so much clearer?!" She smiled shyly.

"If there bunk beds I bag the top one!"

'Well how come I didn't see you then?' Rose said angrily to herself as she went to visit Ember.

Jordan looked over to a first year who looked like he was lonely. It reminded it of him when he first got on the train. "Hi, my name is Jordan. First Year in Gryffindor, nice to meet you."

Rosemary shook her head, "Singles... And your chests and belonging would be placed in front of your bed..." She sighed, "I hope I have one by a window or two."

" Well my parents went to HogWarts, my cousins went to HogWarts and my dad's best freind went to HogWarts but they told me everyone is friendly here" William explained to the girl.. " You are one of the few here who are freindly and I am surprised the Gryffindors are not friendlay at all" Willaim told the girl.. "What are we, Slytherins?" William asked the girl.. " My name is William Montcenaggio, but call me William Starr" he introduced himself to the girl..

" Hi, are you ok? Willaim asked the girl " My name is William Montcenaggio aka Starr" he introduced himself to her. " You seem like a nice girl" William smiled.

" My name is William Starr" he introduced himself to the boy. " How are you? William asked him. " We could hang out together" William told the boy.

As Ella wandered back down the table from talking to other first years she heard the slightly raised voices of Rose and Jordan. She raised her eyebrows. Really don't wanna get involved.. she thought to herself.

Twirling a bit of her hair in her fingers she spotted Jordan talking to yet another new fellow First Year. She wandered over and sat next to Jordan.

'Hey Jordan.' She grinned. 'Who's your new friend?' She asked, leaning aorund him and waving to the shy looking boy on his other side.

"Oh....."
"Hey Jordan do you want to sleep in the bed next to me?"

Matt looked up to find a boy of around his age looking at him. His lonliness ebbed away; someone to talk to, someone that wasn't a girl. (Girls were scary.) Matt smiled slightly. "I'm Matt." His smile widened. "I'm a first year too!" He pointed at his tie, indicating he was also a Gryffindor. The tension eased in his gut, and he took a small mouthful of his dinner.

"I'm Christina, but everyone calls me Chris. People here are pretty friendly if you get to know them. No one just likes to put themselves out there enough to meet people," she said kindly, taken aback a little by the impression he was getting.

" Well, I like Fee for who she is, trust me" William told Hugo. " She likes being complimented" William said to Hugo." You call her what you want and I call Fee what I want and Fee likes what I call her" William explained to Hugo. How can this guy be her boyfreind? He does not know how to impress a girl espicially one like Fee. " You forgot who I am already, I am Rex's cousin" William smiled.

Ariadne was no longer nervous after the Sorting Hat had shouted Gryffindor. The tiny girl walked proudly to her House table, sinking in that it would be her table for the next seven years. Amazing.

She couldn't contain her joy at being a lioness. The Sorting Hat had hesitated between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, but Ari herself decided to break tradition. Her family had been in Ravenclaw for generations. She valued intelligence very much, but chivalry even more. So she convinced the Hat she desrved to be placed in Gryffindor. House of the great Harry Potter. Of Dumbledore, McGonagall, Hermione Granger, the Weasley clan, and so many more.

While crossing the Great Hall, she looked around for her other first year friends, curious to see where they were sorted. She noticed with a hint of regret that her best friends, Melina and Gwen, were the newest additions to the Ravenclaw table. And the boys? Mordred was in Slytherin. No surprises there. And Jory was in Hufflepuff.

Now Ariadne hoped she would make friends from her House too, because, come to think of it, Gryffindors were the fewest of her friends, oddly enough. Wondering how her parents would react to her not being a Ravenclaw, she finally reached the table and took a seat, waiting for the headmaster's speech, and most important, for dinner. She hadn't eaten anything but sweets on the train, as her mother had forgotten to pack food, so the girl was practically starving.

Still, other thoughts occupied her mind, besides food. She would remember crossing the lake in a boat for the rest of her life. Such a special experience! While reminiscing the last few hours, Ariadne thought she saw a glimpse of Nearly-Headless Nick. Cool! Ghosts had always fascinated her.

Rosemary smiled at Aridne, "Hello.... What's your name?" She asked, her Scottish accent peaking now that she was getting excited.

"This is Matt, he's a first year Gryffindor like us."

"Sure. I think there will be more than just us in one room though."

"Well, I guess we will be seeing you this year alot. Excited to start the new school year, eh?"

Ella grinned at the boy but didn't speak. He didn't look like he was keen to speak to her. Maybe in a bit.. she thought.

'What was up with you and Rose before? She's over at her 'twins' table. They'll be planning something, I bet..' Ella raised her eyebrows, reaching for an apple.
