Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Oddsbodikins!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

Kurumi made her way into the common room, greeting the Fat Lady as she did, and made her way towards one of the empty chairs by the fireplace.
She looked around at all the students who had already gathered in the common room and smiled to each of them as she did. She then set the box of remaining Gryffindor cookies she had baked on the table in the center of the room and wrote a little note: Welcome to Gryffindor!
Here are some cookies to celebrate your first night at Hogwarts for all first year, transfers, and returning students.

It's been so long since i last sat here and i missed it-even though i know i have an entire year staying here." she said, adding in a laugh at her statement. "Why don't you go to bed, zara? I'm restless still and I'm pretty sure you're very tired. I'll just catch up with you tomorrow- so we'll both have an equal amount of energy to do some fun things." Quote:

"Privileged? No, not really. My parents explained to me that they were afraid that I would get bullied or rejected when the kids realize that I'm magical. I have, escaped once from the house when they left the gates open accidentally. I ran and ran and hid behind a bush until the servants couldn't find me anymore. Then I went to the playground in our place where I saw lots of kids playing. I approached one who was about to play Ring Around the Rosie because they were in a circle. I asked them if I could join and they said yes. When one asked me my name I said, 'Danielle Zara Griffiths.' Then another one said, 'Run! It's the monster.' Then they all ran away from me. I went home crying. And then my parents told me why I wasn't allowed outside, they all think I'm a scary witch. Also, my mum didn't want me to accidentally use magic around the Muggle kids or else they would really tease me badly." Zara said, reliving the painful memories of rejection. "But it's all okay now. " You see, in my small town, outsiders are not welcome. My mother married my father, who is from Britain, and forever placed a stigma on the household. So she asked, "I don't understand why they treat you like that. What town did you come from?" Confused as she was, Zara still knew that it was wrong. To treat humans so...brutally. Like they were animals, no, worse than that. Zara's eyebrows knotted together, both in confusion, in concern, and in frustration to those people.

Looking around, she noticed Tayla had come down as well. 'Hey, where are you heading to now?' she asked, hoping to start a conversation with her.
