'Oh... Well, next term, we'll PARTAY!' Rose grinned

Carter chuckled. "Well I'll be glad to help however I can if you think of something good and I'm still around." he said with a smile. He remembered what it was like to be a first year just trying to find their place in such a big school. It was an especially crazy experience for him being a muggleborn. Everyday was like an adventure that blew his mind for the first few months. Sometimes he still had moments like that.

He smiled. "I've always wondered what that was like." he said commenting on her being raised in the muggle world. "You're the second person I've met that's half-blood. My very first friend was half-blood, but she was raised muggle like me. And then the rest of my friends have been pureblood. I spend most of my time correcting them on the names of muggle things." Especially Destiny. He didn't know how many times he told her it was called a "television," not a "muggle box."

"I... have." he said with a nod. He wasn't going to get in detail about that though. He hadn't told any of his friends that he's had offers yet, so he wasn't about to confess that to a first year. Especially since he was still deciding whether he wanted to play professionally or not.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll go through a few normal teachers and a few mental teachers during your time here." he said with a chuckle. It was almost like the whole school was cursed or something. The longest he'd ever had a professor was for four terms.

He smiled as she said that the Gryffindors were made to win. It was always fun to see the younger kids learn to embrace their house.

" next tem- Partay" William agreed with Rose.

Nika gave Raven a half-shrug. Who's whitebeard? She's a muggleborn she should know this stuff! Nika arched an eyebrow and cocked her head to the side. "Erm... Actually I don't know who whitebeard is but when the other students talk like pirates they say stuff like, 'ARRR' and 'Matey' and 'Don't steal me booty'." She said laughing. Who ever thought they'd see the day when Sierra Greingoth spoke pirate. it was just odd. "Of course I'll go to you to the pirate ship Raven!" She said with a large smile. He was a good friend and so she'd do anything with him.

And the little Zara dozed off deeper and deeper into sleep, completely unaware of the "art" that Nika had done on her face.

Deeper and deeper she slept. Dreaming of him again, also unaware and not knowing that he was gone already. Away from Hogwarts, and the last memory she'd ever have of Patroclus is that moment in the moving staircase where he was kissing Destiny. That moment that broke her little heart.

Nika leaned back and carefully examined her master peice. So the mustache was a little lopsided and one curl looked slightly bigger than the other, but all in all it was beautiful! She took another closer look at sleeping princess Zara and couldn't help but laugh. Her laugh grew louder and louder as she stared at the mustache.

William is back at the common room. He just broke up with Rose. He needs an older girl or boy to talk to him.

Selina gave the password and entered through the porthole. All the while the Fat Lady was singing what she thought was the world's most beautiful aria- Selina disagreed. Once she was in the eye of the Common Room she put down the huge stack of pizza that she had brought up from the Kitchens. The House Elves were good people, the smell of the pizza was heavenly.

Just because they had lost the match did not mean that Gryffindor should not be proud of their team. They played well today, Ravenclaw was just amazing at blocking shots. The Chasers, Selina included, all played really well and aggressively. Simon was brilliant. Carter, even with an injury, played through and well. And Kurumi played bloody amazingly for a first game, hell for any game. Speaking of Kurumi she should be along any minute with her cookies and all of the Kurumi-ish things she did whenever she held a celebration. But Selina thought she'd help.

Drawing her wand out Selina placed all of the pizzas, and there were many of them, out on the tables for her house mates. Among the different flavors were cheese, chicken and broccoli , meat, vegetarian , and everything. She knew that cookies would be supplied by Kurumi as well as any other desert needs... although cookies were Selina's favorite. Tea was also on the list for Kurumi so Selina conjured some other drinks from the Kitchens: butterbeer, pumpkin juice, and squirt.

Then Selina put out enough plates, napkins, and cups for everyone. She knew that Kurumi would be along shortly so Selina made her announcement:

"Oi, GRYFFINDOR!!!! I know that we are all bummed about today's loss. But the rest of the team and myself want to celebrate the good game we had today. Ravenclaw is a hard team and we played well. So have some pizza, some butterbeer and some fun. Kurumi should be along shortly with drinks and such."

Hurrying up from the kitchens with several large trays of lemon cookies, lemon bars, some peanutbutter broom cookies, and a tray of hot tea and cups floating behind her, Kurumi made her way to the common room, spoke the password, and entered just as Selina was finishing her announcement. She jumped backwards and nearly knocked herself into the tray of lemon signet cookies, but managed to smack into the wall instead.

Kurumi was still in her Quidditch uniform and just didn't have the heart to take it off and change into her regular school robes. Surprisingly, she felt more comfortable in them than she thought she would have. Not only that, dare she even think it, she had actually enjoyed the challenge of playing Seeker and couldn't wait for the next match.

With another flick of her wand, Kurumi charmed the cookies and tea to glide over towards the table where Selina had already set up.

"Cookies and tea are here!" she announced as she jumped next to Selina with a bright smile on her face.

Raven heard the announcement, it's surely odd, they lost the game right, why we celebrating, Raven pick his ears to make sure his ears isn't in bad safe.

"Maybe they lost the game, but not the battle" Raven thought is running widely but yeah, celebration is still celebration, right Nika, "forget the whitebeard things, let eats, and give our team a good notch for playing pair and square with all they amazing spirit"

Nuts, they lost, but, that was really good game, right? Heather made her way in the common room, checking her camera and films. Good. Everything was in her small backpack, including the photographs. Ah, it's really wonderful to have a polaroid cam, develops imeediately. She went to look for her best friend so she could give Kurumi the photo of the girl playing in the match. Wouldn't that make Kurumi happy? (She has tons of photos of Kurumi too...so she could pick any she wants)

And then she heard Selina announce about a party. They're having a party? For Gryffindor! Ah, there's Kurumi....and..."COOKIES!" PARTY! COOKIES!!

She made her way to where the food was. She could always give Kurumi the photos later.

Nika made her way to the common room after bumping into Selina at the tree house. She was excited for the party! It was a bit odd to be celebrating after the loss, but Ravenclaw was a hard team to beat and Kurumi did catch a snitch. The team played really well so celebrating was a good idea and besides Nika needed something fun to keep her mind off of certain things. She saw Kurumi, Raven, Heather, and Selina already there and she beamed at them all.




She walked over and poked her fellow second year softly. "Hey long time no see." She said with a chuckle as she looked over at all of the food that Selina had set up. "Wow, you did a great job with preparing for this things!"


Nika looked over and noticed Kurumi with her cookies. She beamed at the third year and made sure to go and congratulate her on catching a snitch. "Hiya Kurumi!" She said cheerfully as rocked back and forth. "You did a really good job today especially catching that snitch!"



Nika turned just in time to hear Raven talk. "Wow that's so true!" Lost the game, but not the battle. Well it's alright because the lions are ahead of everyone in house points so hopefully they'll win the cup to make up for Quidditch. "Right!" She said nodding cheerfully. Celebrations are awesome. "Let's PARRRTAYY!"



Nika was getting really excited for this party. Hopefully even more people would turn up sooner or later. Especially all of those who played in the match. Nika wanted to go and congratulate everyone of them on their playing. The first year walked towards the food and grabbed one of Kurumi's cookies before they were all gone.

She beamed at a familiar face and waved. "Hey Heather!" She took a small bite of the cookie and let out a satisfied sigh. "Yum." Kurumi's cookies were always the best. "What's up?"

*choomp* Raven mouth is filled by Selina's pizza, and took a butterbeer to lessen the throat before saying "What up people, Yay for Gryffindor Quidditch team"

With cookies in her mouth, Heather heard a familiar voice and turned around to see who it was. It was nika. She waved and chomped down the cookies quickly so she could talk. "N-Nika! Hi!" she smiled at the girl and approached her. Hmmm..she smells pizza. She should help herself to some later..."Just eating. You?" she asked.

Nika chuckled seeing Heather stuff the remaining peice of her cookie in her mouth. Nika thought about doing that herself, but decided she'd just take bites in between talking. That way she'd be able to savour the yummyness. "Yeah me too! I know I shouldn't eat too many cookies before I have pizza, but they were calling my name!" She said with a grin. "I wish I knew how to bake cookies this good!"

"I know a person, who can help you do baking Nika" Raven smiling, looking to his cookie sister.

"and she is the best at Hogwarts" pointing to Kurumi.

"Am I right cookie sister Kurumi" Raven say eyeing to Kurumi

" I have to admit, you guys are in a pretty good mood after the loss" William told Selina. " I do not remember any Gryffindor team getting beat that badly" Willaim said to Selina." On fact, losing by that many points, well that must be a record" William explained to Selina. " I am always up for a party' William smiled.

" did you take a lot of pictures?" William asked Heather. "So I just made the end of the match and unforunately saw us lose" William said to Heater. " Did anyone get hurt out there>" William asked Heather. 'Can we talk about somerhing later away from everyone?" William asked Heather.

Heather giggled. "I'm going to go get pizza too." she said, grabbing one and eating it-with all its cheesy yumminess. She listened to Nika's wishes to bake cookies and another boy, Raven, saying that Kurumi is the best baker in hogwarts. She smiled. she agreed to that. Heather could never say no to any of Kurumi's cookies. "I wish i could bake cookies that wouldn't turn into muffins." she joked. But it was true. she once baked cookies on her own...and it became muffins- the next batch turned into buns.


turning from Nika, Heather found William, asking her tons of questions already. She smiled at him, while holding the pizza she was still eating. "have you eaten yet, William? I did take lots of pictures...all is not lost. The team will catch up and will be better." With kurumi and Selina? They're bound to do tons better than now, those two were great, and match that too with the rest of the amazing team! "i don't think anyone can get hurt so much during the game. Nope, no one did." not really. there wasn't much news about that. And talk later? She looked at the first year. "well, i suppose we could...later...i still have to go give Kurumi her photos...as well as Selina,...and if the team wanted to..." she looked at her back pack, knowing it was filled with photographs of the team while they were playing.

In Zara's dream, she heard a laugh. A mischievous one. Moving a little in her chair, her eyes begun to open a bit. She'd been sleeping...

And she almost fell asleep again until she heard a loud voice, shouting. GAHHH, who dares shout in the common room?! Didn't they know people were resting and sleeping? With an annoyed look on her face, Zara's eyes opened and she sat up straight from her seat, placing the pillow away from her face, which fell on her lap. Eyes scanning the room for the noisy one, she saw food. Lots and lots of food. What a party?

Blinking her eyes to see if she was still dreaming, Zara saw that Nika was still here and an older Gryffindor girl was the one who had shouted. And wanting to return to sleep, Zara stood up and waved once to Nika as she made her way up the staircase. So much noise.

"HEATHER!" Kurumi chirped as she threw her arms around her fellow third year. "Thank you so much for coming to the match. I was able to spot you in the crowd just before the match started." She squeezed her friend tightly and felt a slight frown tickle her lips. Nope, she had nothing to be ashamed of.

"Please, have a cookie," she said gesturing towards the cookies. Kurumi then noticed the camera around Heather's neck and her eyes widened. "Did you...did you happen to get a picture of my first Snitch grab ever?" Well, everything in that match had been a first for her.
Kurumi smiled at Nika. "Thank you," she said bowing slightly. "I wish I could have done a bit better, grabbed another one, but I did the best I could for my first time playing in a proper Quidditch match. The Ravenclaw Seeker has four years of experience over me, I learned a lot from the match."
Kurumi heard William make some rude and snide remark about the team, but chose to ignore it. He could continue to be bitter all he wanted, but that wasn't helping his chances of making the team next year or any year for that matter. No one wanted someone with such a negative attitude on their team

Instead, Kurumi turned her attention towards a familiar voice and found Raven looking at her. "Raven!" she smiled hugging her little lion brother. She hadn't seen him for so long.

"Hey, just have fun, alright" Raven say



"So, you tried baking muffins? Heather" Raven ask rather than just say, who know if heather baked muffins it's turn cookies



"Hey, hey, miss dreamgirl, get some cookies here, and celebrate your face" Raven say, trying not to laugh the girl



"Hello, cookie Kurumi --I see you" Raven greet. "You're mischievous pretending little brother is back" Raven added, accepting Kurumi's hug before saying "geroff me"

"No..." giggled Heather, turning back to Raven from William. "I tried to bake cookies on my own...but i think i messed the ingredient up a little bit...because when i took it out of the oven, they looked like muffins." and delicious cookie-muffins at that. "My grandmother teased me with that and said, i made a new recipe...called 'mookies.' "VERY FUNNY, REALLY.

From Raven, someone went and hugged her and she turned around to see that it was Kurumi.

"KURUMI!!" Heather jumped and hugged Kurumi tight. "You were awesome! So awesome! It was all amazing-especially when you caught that snitch! I took a photo of it too!" She said, rummaging through her photo-filled back pack. Maybe she shouldn't have used her polaroid today, but she did want all of the photos to be there now. The only thing is, Heather can waste so much film in one sweep-but she does take good shots "I have more of you in action too...and i also took some of the entire team! Even Selina has dozens!"

Kurumi giggled when he told her to let go. "Alright, alright," she sighed sarcastically as she took a step back. "It's good to see you again. I was beginning to worry you had left school."

Kurumi noticed Raven look and tried to talk some sense into William. "I wouldn't worry about it," she whispered patting the second year on the shoulder.
Kurumi cheeks flushed a deep pink as Heather spoke. "I was frightened half to death and really did think I was going to fall right off my broom." The poor thing had been shaking like a leaf through the entire match and had been so nervous that she had been way behind the Ravenclaw Seeker on the first snitch grab of the game. "Thank you so much for coming and taking pictures," Kurumi blushed as she took a peek at one of the pictures that was of her holding onto the golden snitch with one of the biggest smiles on her face that she had ever seen. She ALMOST looked confident up there on her broom. "Wow...this is fantastic!" Kurumi exclaimed. "Do you mind if I send some of these to Father?"

"ooh, him, don't worry, I too --I hope" Raven say, "just give some cookies, I really miss some of those and of course you big sister" Raven say it whole heartedly



"mookies, sound fun err delicacy" Raven say while watching the two girls hugging each other.

'There's still a chance we can win though, isn't there?' Rose asked out loud as she entered the Common Room. Woo! Party! This was a great time for partying, she was free of the nag William.
