The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through.
"Oddsbodikins!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby.

'I take it you like them, so please have some.' the girl said, pushing the box closer to her housemate.
'Ariadne Marchbanks, or simply Ari.' she replied, shaking the boy's hand. The youn Gryffindor mentally congratulated herself for the fact that her handshake had improved since starting Hogwarts, and now it didn't indicate nervousness. 'Nice to meet you, Carter. Coming from Quidditch practice?' Ari asked. 'I don't know who's on the team and who isn't, since Quidditch is not among my interests.' she added with sincerity, but then felt the need for clarification. 'That's not to say I don't support the team. I'm a Gryffindor above all else.' the girl said proudly. 'I hope we'll win the House Cup this year.' If not, she would take it as a personal failure.
Carter laughed. "It better be... I don't know if I'd want to attempt it again if someone did better than me." he said. He then plucked on of the sugar quills out of her box. "Thanks. They're actually my favorite."
"It's a pleasure to meet you Ari." he said with a smile. "Yeah. I did. It was snowing pretty badly so it's nice to be by the fire." He closed his eyes for a minute just letting the heat sink in.
"Oh, that's fine. I figure since I'm a fanatic there has to be someone out there to balance it out." Kind of like karma. Kind of...
"We're off to a pretty good start. Have you seen the hourglass recently? We're ahead by like 100 points." he said with a grin. Oh, it was a great feeling to see the other houses glare at the hourglasses.
He then turned to look at her. "So if quidditch isn't your 'thing', what is?" he asked curiously. This was the first person he met that didn't love (or at least strongly enjoy) quidditch.

The tiny Gryffindor shook her head. 'No one will do better.' she said solemnly, but then burst out laughing. 'But they should include that in the yearbook, when you graduate. What year are you in, by the way?' Ariadne asked, adding: 'You can probably tell I'm a firstie.' She rolled her eyes. Second year couldn't come soon enough. She wanted to get rid of the feeling that she was amongst the youngest around. 'I can't really choose between sugar quills and chocolate frogs.' Ari admitted, her cheerful tone returning.
'I bet it's terrible to practice in this weather. What do you play as?' the girl asked, hoping Carter wouldn't be offended by her ignorance when it came to Quidditch. 'Interesting theory.' she mused. 'My mum was Quidditch captain in her days at school, it's weird I haven't inherited her passion.' Ari confessed. She took a few seconds to think what her thing was. Anything she answered would be lame in comparison to Quidditch, so why not be honest? 'I enjoy reading, and especially historical themes. I probably spend as much time at the library as other people do on the Quidditch pitch.' Ariadne explained. 'Yes, I've seen the hourglasses, it's great.' she grinned.
'Wow, really reassuring! I'm a player, that really puts my mind at rest!' Rose rolled her eyes. 'Ummm.... We could just go to the Treehouse? I don't mind who's there!' Rose grinned
" You know I am teasing you about me being a player" Willaim told Rose." Ok, Treehouse, is good" William said to Rose. " Ok, so I will just call out to everyone it is Rose's birthday" William expalined to Rose.

"I'm in my 6th year." he said with a smile. That was right, in one more year he'd be outta there. "Ah, I remember my first year..." he said reminiscing while staring at the fire. "I came to school knowing nothing about magic... so... it was a very interesting year for me."
"You get used to it." he said with a light shrug. As long as he got by the fire as quick as possible it didn't bother him too much. "I started as a chaser during my first year... and since then I've been moved to keeper."
He chuckled. "You must be doing well in History of Magic then." Sure the topic was somewhat interesting (sometimes), but he never got excited about it.
He chuckled. "If that's any indication of who gets the cup, I'd say we're winning." And it was an indication. Which meant, they were winning.

To draw the mustache or not to draw the mustache? That is the question. Nika reached into her bag and took out a quill and drew a very light mustache on Zara's face. It was drawn light enough so that the first year wouldn't be able to feel it. Hehe.

Raven understand a Lion even didn't say it, if your a Cub, you know what is Lion. so he know Nika is thinking the same he was.
"Eer, no new at at all" Raven says with little confusion, what he can say, he is definitely behind to all fellow second year.

Ari giggled continuously for a few minutes and only stopped to take a deep breath. 'That would be really fantastic. I hope by the time I graduate I will have done something fun like that.' she grinned.
Sixth year. Wow. Ariadne couldn't picture herself in five years. 'Do you think you'll miss Hogwarts?' she asked Carter, forgetting that boys rarely answer these sentimental questions truthfully. 'So...that means you're Muggleborn?' the young girl deduced after her housemate said that he knew nothing about magic before starting Hogwarts. Ari was very curious what it was like to be raised entirely in the Muggle world.

Nathaniel wandered down from the dorms looking around nervously. It was only his first year and he was very nervous. *Relax and have fun there*, his uncle Brandon had told him. *Be better then me with all my odd powers and trying to control them. You're lucky you just have the spells and potions to worry about!* "That's all easy for you to say unc," he muttered silently to himself and he sat down in the nearest chair and began reading his charms book. *At the very least I should learn things fast*, he thought as he was reading a chapter on the summoning charm. *Uncle Brandon showed me a lot of the easy spells* He pulled out his wand and looked around, spotting a quill that another student had left on a nearby table. He flicked his wand towards it and said, "Accio quill." The quill flew suddenly from the table and planted itself tip first into the chair right next to his head causing him to flinch in suprise. "Oops," he said quickly grabbing the quill and hiding behind the book.
Breathing out, Thea relaxed. Sitting down.. on the floor, the young lion crossed her legs. She shrugged. 'Yeah I guess. I have five older brothers so they've been helping a bit..' She smiled as she told her about the protective spells. 'Oh wow, does he work for the Ministry?.. Mine does..' Thea broke off, remebering he was away. He was away most of the time.. but it was fine.. Mam never left them hardly. Thea plastered another smile on her face. 'Do you have any brothers or sisters? I have a little brother aswell!' She pulled a face.
Taking up a small mirror from her bag Sophie put a big plaster over her bump. Satisfied with the oulook she repocketed her small mirror before focusing her attention on Thea. "Wow, 5 older brother's that's a lot! I guess you've got tips and so on from them on how Hogwarts life works then?" the lioness prefect asked calmly but with interest. Her bump wasn't hurting so she could relax against the comfy chair fully. Nodding she Sophie said "Yes, my father works in the Magical Games & Sports department. Where does your father work?" Maybe their father's knew each other? But then againg the Ministry of magic was quite big so the chance was small. Putting on a friendly smile she nodded "Yes i do. Two younger siblings Madeline and Robert." Giggling a little at Thea's grimace she said "Little brother's aren't that bad at least not my little brother.

Sophie was sitting in one of the comfy chairs warming herself in front of the roaring and sparkling fire. She had just a few minutes ago come back from her usual patrol of the grounds in the cold weather. Hearing footsteps behind her she turned her head to see a small boy come down from the boy's dormitories carrying a charms textbook. Probably a first year by the looks of it. Sophie warmed her hands little longer before she stood up to go and change clothes. Just as she stood she heard the boy mutter an incantation and she watched as the quill stopped an inch from his face. Smiling friendily she walked towards him "Hi there, nice spellwork!"

Thea nodded, then shrugged. 'Yeah I suppose. But they don't help that much.' Thea smiled. 'But I can find my way around new places myself pretty quick, so it doesn't matter.' And yeah, sure they had told her stories.. stories she probably shouldn't share with a prefect...
Leaning back on her hands, Thea nodded as Sophie told her her siblings names. 'Well mine is.. he's like a little troll!' It was true.. All her brothers were..urm.. well built(?) but Seth was just weeeeird.
'Yeah he does.. but I have no idea what department. All I know is that he travels a lot. My Mam's a Healer though!' She grinned. She was very proud of her mama, they all were.

Nathaniel glanced up quickly from his book seeing an older girl who was smiling as she approached. His face turned a little red as he replied, "Thanks. My name's Nathaniel. Nathaniel Elric." He turned and looked at the small hole the quill had poked into the chair. Pushing some of the color out of his face he looked back and added, "Hopefully next time it will go slow enough I can catch it and not have to try and dodge it." He laughed a little after he said that.

But with keeper, the pressure and adrenaline when you see that quaffle coming toward you... it's indescribable." He then smiled. "I also like being able to flip around playing as keeper. He smiled. "We've won the cup tons of times. In fact, last year we won. We've also won the Quidditch cup in recent years." And by recent he meant in his second year.

Raven saying it with excitement and Nika has a suggestion, Raven love the idea, he is going to that ship anytime now. Ari replied. 'Most of the students I know are Half-blood, like me. However, I was raised by my mum alone, in the wizarding world, so I know only bits and pieces of how Muggle life really is.' Ariadne noticed that publicly admitting that her father wasn't around didn't hurt as it used to at the beginning of the year. Hogwarts had taught her strength and courage. Or maybe she had them all along, but didn't realize?
Ari smiled as Carter spoke about Quidditch so fondly. It was perfectly clear that the boy was very passionate about it. 'Have you thought about playing professional Quidditch once you graduate?' the girl was curious. Ariadne nodded at the comment about Shaw. 'He definitely is. I wonder what a real, normal Transfiguration lesson would be like.' Hopefully, she would get the chance to experience that pretty soon. 'Then we Gryffindors are made to win.' the firstie grinned, convincing herself of the truth of the statement.
'Yeah, it's gonna be AWESOME! When is your birthday, when do you want your party to be?' Rose said pulling a pen and notepad out of her pocket.
" Yes, it will be awesome" Wiliam told Rose." My birthday is November 23 and I thikn we missed it" William said to Rose. "So do yo uwant me to tell you my invitees?" William asked Rosw.
OOC- Nov 23- William's birthday not mine,
