Zara felt like she wanted to smack her head. WHY had she agreed to this? SHAW SAVE ME! Where are you and your awesome chainsaw? HEEEELLLP. *sniff* Alright, with this incident and situation that she's in now, chainsaw is really making the top of her list on that homework in transfiguration. SHE NEEDED ONE NOW. To make Nika stop. Ahh, Godric help her.

*gulp* Alright, here goes.

Theodore? Who was thaaat? Zara blinked. "Who?" Isn't that one of the chipmunks?

Right okay. Not quite the reaction Nika was hoping for. Ah, well she had tons of more names where that came from. If she kept listing them one by one they would get absolutely no where. "So I'm guessing it's not him." She said as she took her quill and scratched off the first name on the list.

She looked over the list one more time then back at Zara. "How about Sebastian, Garrett, Johnathan, or Alex?" Maybe it would be one of them? It would be so much easier if Zara just told her! GAH!!!

Erm okaay? But she wanted to know who that Theodore was. Oh well. And a new set of names came up. WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE? "Sebastian...that crab or lobster in Little Mermaid?" She grinned. Really, who was Sebastian?

Garrett, Johnathan, Alex. *dumbfounded* Where was Nika getting these names? "You sure have met a lot of guys around, Nika." She teased with a smug smile on her face.

" I am not tired of dancing" William told Heather." How about front rollx?" William asked Heather. " We could read about Karate and do the assignment" William explained to Heather.

" Oh, I see what you meant, boy that was dumb" William told Nika." I do not knowwhat got into me, I am happy-go lucky person" William said to Nika." Oh wow, another big sister" William laughed." I promise never to be sad again just for you" Willaim explained to Nika. He hugged her back Oh "sis". did you remeber to put Res's name on your list?' William asked Nika.

"sure. i guess we could do the front rolls....where and when would you like? if you want to do it now, you're going to have to give me a minute to change..." she blushed a bit; she was still in her uniform-and she was wearing a skirt. Rolling with a skirt on definitely is not a bright idea."

'Ummm... Do we have to do astronomy?' Rose asked as she gave William the book. 'It's a good book, interesting! You need to get into the habit of reading more!' Rose scolded

"Some kids find reading boring, Rose." As Jordan laughed joking about how he was gonna read alot this term. "I'm just kidding. Although I only find myself reading sports books."

Rose gasped in mock surprise. 'Really! That's surprising! I love books!' Rose grinned

" I think we should do rolls in the Common room" William told Heather. " I will wait for you to change" William said to Heather. " We do not want your pretty dress to get dirty and it iss not a good ide3a to for you to do rolls in a dress" Willaim explained to Heather.

" Yes, Astronomy is a class we must take if we want to get points for the house cup" William explained to Rose. " Well the book does sound good and interesting." William told Rose. 'Do not hold your breath on me reading a lot" Willaim laughed.

'Aw, but I hate astronomy!' Rose groaned 'We're already in the lead!'

Nika shrugged. She didn't know half of these people either. She just heard names and read them in the yearbook that's all. "Well he's got to be on this list somewhere!" She said as she looked the list over. Maybe she should've found some more younger students to add to the list.

No matter! Nika will find out some way or another. Right. "How about Stephen, Zack, Josh, or Daichi. Come on you have to know one of them? You know Josh that really loud one? Daichi is a first year... I think." She said as she read the name. Yeah wasn't he the one with the duck? He talked to Nika before. Diagon Alley.


Nika shook her head. "No, no you weren't dumb Willie! You were just upset that's all!" She said reassuringly. "Aw good! But it's okay. We are all sad once in a while, we just have to learn to get better and be happy!" She said beaming. "The list?" What list? "Oh. That list." She said looking at the peice of parchment she was holding in her hands. "Oh this... this is nothing." She said giggling. "I'm trying to figure out who Zara likes." She told him whispering as quietly as possible.

Legend yawned as he made his way into the Common Room. He was way to tried to do anything. Yeah. He needed to sleep. The seventh year plopped down on a couch and put his feet up. He wished he could hire someone to do his homework.

Cove was going over her music sheets when she ran into somebody….again. "Oh I'm so sorry." She said to the guy. Hwho was obviously older than her.

Jordan laughing still, "You'd be surprised by the number of kids of muggles that despise reading." Jordan said, then yawned as If he was feeling sleepy.

" I am in the Astronomy class" William told Rose. " The professor helped me, he is nice" Wiliam said to Rose. " We have to stay in the lad all term long to win the cup" William expalined to Rose. " You are xo vute' William smiled.

" Yes. I was upset, was, remeber that word from me" William told Nika." Well I am very happy now" William said to Rose." Oh I understand about the list' William whispered back to Nika.

"You know, Nika. If you really wanna guess, you gotta start giving me specific names," Zara grinned, hoping Nika would agree and change her list. Maybe add their last names, or houses and years at least. Who were these peopleee?

"Nope, I don't know, really. I think it's because he didn't make the team," Zara said quietly.

'Yep, and I'm not one of them! My Mum would be angry if I didn't read as she's an English Teacher!' Rose grinned. 'My Dad wouldn't really mind but he's a Doctor... What do your parents do?' Rose asked Jordan



'Yeah, but I hate Astronomy!' Rose groaned 'Yeah, but we will stay in the lead, 'cause Gryffindor RULES!' Rose laughed 'Of course, I'm cute, it's part of my natural charm!' Rose said innocently 'Just like being part Veela makes you cute!' Rose grinned Hmmm..... I wonder if the Library has any, you know, fictional books... Rose thought

She nodded at this and hurried to the dormitories to change. in a matter of minutes, she came back, dressed up. Heather then turned to William with a bright smile on her face. "Okay, I'm good, you ready?" she looked around. "are you sure it would be all right to do it here? we might hit someone." judging with how Heather can make front rolls, she's bound to hit someone.

" Actually I thought I would hate Astronmy, too" Wiliam told Rose. " I like the professor, he makes it understandable" William said to Rose." WEll then we both have charm and cuteness" William explained to Rose laughing.

" I am ready" William told Heather. " A very smart outfit for you to do rolls" William said to Heather." Well, we could do it here" William smiled. "Where else do yo usuggest to do our rolls?" William asked Heather.

'Hmm!' Rose said 'Hey, are you doing the DADA project? I gave up on it... Too hard!' Rose laughed 'I'm naturally lazy!'

Emily coudn't look at Nika. She might cry if she did.
"I need your support to work things out with my mam..." she sighed. 'Like a plaster, just rip it off' she told her self. "Nika..." 'Just do it... NOW!' "I'm moving..." she said suddenly, then gulped "To France." Merlin she had done it. Hopefully Nika would understand. "S-so it means... I c-carn't come back to Hogwarts n-next year..." Her bottom lip started to quiver. She was gonna cry, she knew it.

'Well, he says he's fine now!' Rose grinned

" Yes, I am doing the DADA homework" William told Rose. " My problem is I have to write it down in a journal" William said to Rose. " Have to do it anyway" William laughed. " You are not lazy or you would have never done so well in the Quidditch tryours and make the team" William explained to Rose.

Nika nodded as she smiled at Willie. "Well I'm happy that your happy!" She said with a giant smile. "Yeah, Zara won't tell me who it is!" She said in mock anger. She wasn't really unhappy because she would probably find out sooner or later. Hehe.

Specific names?! Ahhh but Nika wasn't going to go and find names all over again. "Okay fine. How about the next three." She cleared her throat and began to read the next three on the list. "Oakey, he's a first year too I think. I'm pretty sure he's a hufflepuff... Then there is Jacob. I can't remember much about him. Then there is partroclus. He's the one Gryffindor boy who was helping our group during that thing in Transfiguration. Then William. Willie! William starr. You know him for sure." She told the girl. Zara is that specific enough? O.o "You know what. Forget about this stupid list! Your probably not going to tell me if I guessed in anyways." She said crinkling up the list in her hands and shooting Zara an are-you-happy look.

Nika was really starting to wonder what Emily was trying to mean by all of this. She was truly confused. Why would Emily not want to be friends all of the sudden because she wanted to work things out with her mom. She looked at Emily and searched for answers. But it didn't take long for the second year to give them to Nika.

Then Emily dropped the bomb. The she's-not-coming-back bomb. That bomb. Nika wasn't sure how to react. She wasn't sure if it was a joke or if the girl was being serious. She sounded pretty serious. So Nika just sat there. Curled up in a little ball on her chair. She just sat there looking at the ground trying to figure out exactly what was going on. She just sat. Nika knew Emily would want her to be happy and understand that it was the best. But she couldn't understand. She just wanted her best friend to be by her side forever. Of course things weren't going to work out the way that was ideal. Of course there had to be that bump in the road. "I-I understand." And that's all she said. She said she understood, when really she didn't. It was the first time she had lied to Emily. The first time ever.

She looked up at her friend for the last time during the conversation and held back the tears. The sad, angry, confused tears. "I- I have to go to the bathroom." She said slowly as she got up from her chair. Her legs felt unstable, but hopefully they wouldn't give in by the time she ran to the courtyard, or the lake, or the bathroom, or anywhere. Anywhere but here. She didn't want to show Emily how upset she was. She didn't want her friend to see how selfish she was being by not being happy over the fact that Emily was going to be with her birth mum.

Nika bolted towards the passage way so that she could get out of the common room before the tears rolled in. She didn't want her friend to see her like this. She couldn't let it happen. Not now anyways. She wasn't ready.

"That's good to hear," she smiled. Zara began to play with her scarf. Hmm, seems like yesterday she was having her first day at Hogwarts. Now, it's December. Almost near Christmas.

"How are you planning to spend your Christmas vacation this year, Rose?" she asked, as she stopped playing with her scarf and looked at Rose straight in the eye as she smiled.

She shook her head, "No, not Oakey. Yeah, I know him. No idea who Jaco--" and Zara stopped speaking. Her heart was beating. Beating fast. She was starting to wonder if Nika could it. And her whole body--it was out of her control. She wasn't moving, she couldn't move. Her face, it was turning into a deep shade of red. Like the whole common room.

Zara listened on as Nika still went on with her list, barely catching the words. Then she got mad. Uh oh. Not good. Zara wanted to move, to stop Nika from being mad at her. But she couldn't. All she could manage was to move her mouth open. And that was pretty much it. Shivers went down her body though it wasn't cold at all. Not with the warm fire coming from the fireplace. But yes, she was shivering one after the other. But she couldn't regain her composure. No, not at all.

And now, Zara wondered what might be going through Nika's mind.
