'Ummm.... Alright?' Rose said concerned as she went to the Owlerey

" Glad you are going to the Owlery me again" William told Rose. " You are such a cute redhead" William said to Rose." I like Helen" William smiled.

Nika looked at Willie and shook her head slowly. "Why wouldn't he tell you?" She asked. That would be mean. He at least owed Willie an explanation that's all. "I think that you have a great shot in being on the team next term. Maybe he just didn't want all that many first years on the team? I think that you need to give yourself a break. Don't be too hard on yourself Willie." It's only a sport, not life. She looked at Willie and sighed. "Matter of fact, I do have an answer for you. If you don't make the team next term then you try again!" She said with a smile. "I heard Hogsmead is open. You wanna head over there with me and we can get a butterbeer or something to cheer you up? It's on me." She said to her friend with a smile.


Nika nodded her head. Food. That sounds good just about now.

She looked at Zara and gasped. She jumped up and looked for her bag. Where is it... Where is it... "AHA!" She put up her finger in the air as she found it and dug through it. She was looking for a peice of parchment that she had used earlier. It's important. "Guess what this is Zara" She said batting her eyelashes innocently. Yes Zara, it's her list. Remember that? Yeah Nika does. MUAHAHA!

Jordan yawned as he stood up announcing, "Welp, guys, I'm gonna head to bed. I need some rest after a long day. See you later William and Rose. Hope to catch up with you later." Jordan said, then walking up to his dorm.

Selina smiled at the page that had Kurumi on it. Something about the girl always brought a smile to her face, regardless of how crazy the two could be together. In fact it was fun. It was like having her own personal sister. Selina didn't know what it was like to have a sister growing up. So having Kurumi was nice, having everyone at Hogwarts was nice.

She looked up at Heather and said, "This is brilliant, really brilliant. But any reason why you go with Muggle film? Still pictures are an interesting choice."

"Thanks..." Tayla replied, a little confused since December just started. "Probably just confused the months," she thought, making a mental note to keep an eye on the announcements board.

"How have you been, Rose?" Tayla asked with a smile. She took a sip from a mug of hot chocolate she had asked for from the kitchens.

" The captain probably does not need to give his reasons, other sports captains /managers do not have to tell why anyone was cut from the team" William explained to Nika." Oh, he did not want all those first years on his team?" William asked Nika " Even ones who did better than some of the older students?" William asked Nika." Sure it is a sport ,not life, but my family is completely sports oriented including being on Quidditch champinship teams" William told Nika." So, I will be a Martyr trying out over and over" William said to Nika.
" I feel bad that Rex hurt his shoulder and could not play Quiddith during his last terms here, but I envy him, he is the lucky one who never got his feelings hurt" he told Nika. Sure, the Three Broomsticks sounds good" he said to Nika. " Can't refuse an offer for free butterbeer' Willaim laughed.

"thanks.." smiled Heather at hearing Selina's praises. "It is interesting to see...that muggle films barely move...but ..." she blushed. "i still find the beauty in seeing them still. I don't know why, but having to see something that just stares back without moving an inch, is both mysterious...and beautiful..." think she went in a little too deep. She bit her lip. here comes the silly answer. "and...i don't really know why as welll but...i really don't have the heart to cut off any moving pictures, to be honest...still pictures make it easier for me in making scrapbooks especially when i need to cut something off..."

"I'm free most of the time, William." if William can find her, that is. Heather likes to be around, and by that, it means she can be anywhere in this big, big castle. "what would you like to do first?" she asked. she still needed to complete he front rolls, find a partner to ball room dance with or spar with in Karate.

'Hazel, silly!' Rose grinned as she walked in with William 'Aw, Pettifer's awesome too! I love owls!'

'I've been brilliant!' Rose grinned 'I love Hogwarts and lots of people in it!' Rose was really happy, mostly because of William and Ember and all of her friends!

Emily entered the common room with a grim expression. Her eyes were red and puffy and her face had a slight green tinge like she was ill. She had been toying over the decision since the first letter from her mum.
She looked around for Nika, Cove or Elaine but they wern't here. She'd realised last night she'd have to tell them sooner or later, and at least if she did it sooner they could enjoy the remaining time they had.
Sitting in her favourite armchair by the fire she started thinking of how to say the news she needed to break to them. A tear rolled down her cheek but she simply wiped it away. She'd made her decision and already agreed. There was no backing out now.

"Ehhh, I'm sleeping." She groaned and as she placed two pillows on either side of her ears. Zara's really stubborn when sleeping.

Zara's eyes widened at that long long list on the parchment. "No," she whispered softly. "Nononono." Zara said as she shook her head in disbelief. How could Nika write all those so fast?

She gulped once and got a pillow and covered up her ears as she closed her eyes.

No matter what Nika said Willie just seemed to fight it. This was like Rene missing for Rex all over again. Nika was just about plain burst out in frustration. But William is sensitive so Nika knew better than to do that. She kept the sweet smile on her face as she rubbed his back. "Willie look. I know your family is big in sports, but why don't you change that? You could make them big in something else too! You could be the first in your family to get honored for your smarts. You don't have to do what your family does. And if you want to you can always try again. Work hard and do your best and I'm sure things will work out in your favor. Maybe if Quidditch isn't the right sport for you I can teach you football. I think you call it soccer. You just need to stop moping and do something about it! I know you better than that Willie and you are this great guy that can do whatever he sets his heart and mind to. Don't just stay here and cry all day. Because you are better than that. I know you are." She finished off her speech with a deep breath. She sighed when the boy compared himself to Rex. If any one got their feelings hurt more than Willie it was probably Rex, but she didn't want to have to fight the little boy so she didn't say anymore about it.

Nika skipped into the common room with a brilliant smiling lighting her whole face. She felt great! Nothing could make her unhappy because today she felt invincible. And AHA! There's Emily. She skipped towards the girl who was sitting close to the fire and she attacked her with a hug. "Gosh Em, I feel like I never see you anymore!" She said finally looking at her friend up close for the first time. She looked horrible, down right horrible. Her eyes were red and she looked like she had been crying earlier. "Oh no. Wh-what's wrong Emily? Is it another letter from your mum?" As if it wasn't her enough for the poor Gryffindor getting the first letter. "It's alright. Whatever it is I'm sure I can help you get through it." She said nodded as she took over a nearby chair. She pulled it over and put it right next to Emily's and looked at her friend with a hopeful smile.

Nika looked at Zara as a gleam of mischief twinkled in her eyes. MUAHAHA! She smiled evily as she looked at the first year. "So Zara, it took a lot of work to get this list together so I think it's only fair that you tell me once I guess his name." She said nodding her head. She would wait for Zara to agree before she read off the names. Hehe Nika was determined to get this right.

Zara frowned. Nika did take a lot of work to make that. She removed the pillows from her ears, and opened her eyes as she sat up straight. "Tell you what, if I make my own list, I would do a lot of work too. So you're work won't be wasted, if you allow me to do that." She grinned hopefully. She didn't want to answer the questions. Maybe making a list of her own would make them even?

" Good, do am I" William replined to Heather." Anything you would like to do, we can do" Willaim told Heather. "Actually, I have been dancing with some of the Gryffindor girls to get their homework done" William said to Heather, "Again, anything yo uwant to start with, I will do it" William explained to Heather.

" Oh yeah, her name is Hazel" William said to Rose." Pettifer's not bad" Willaim told Heather. " I am cool with owls" William expalined to Rose. "So will we be partners the next time in a class?" William asked Rose.

" Excuse me for bothering you" Willaim told Zara. " I promise never to bother you again when you are sleeping" Willaim said to Zara. Wiliam walked away from Zara.

" Honored for me being smart, that is a new one" Willaim laughed. "Although I am getting close to breaking in top five of Gryffindor and any other house I would be in the top five" Willaim explained to Nika. No matter how hard I try, something nevr happens for me" Willaim said to Nika." Oh, no, I do not play soccer, I actually play American football plus teaching a friend of mine Presley to play it" William explained to Nika." I romise to be better" William smiled.

'You shouldn't even ask! Of course I'll partner up with you!' Rose grinned at William

" Cool, I really would like you as a partner in class" Willaim told Rose." Actually, I think I am ok know about the Quidditch" William said to Rose. " Do you know why?" Wiliam asked Rose.

'Why?' Rose asked as she knew William had been very upset!

Oh no, here it comes. She blinked back some tears as Nika gave her a hug and nodded slowly. "Kind of..." she gulped. She'd had another letter, but it wasn't that she was worried about.
"N-nika? We've been friends for about 2 years now havn't we?" Damn, she shoudn't have said that. "I mean-I've thought about it and... I think I'm gonna try to work things out with my mum." she said quickly. "Do you think that's a good idea?" Oh merlin, this would be harder than she had thought...

" I found a great girl" Wiliam told Rose. " I am glad you are in my life" Willaim said to Rose. " You will make me very proud when you play Quidditch" William explained to Rose.

'Aaw!' Rose said as she leant up against William whilst she read. 'Hey, do you wanna borrow a book? I've got fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?' Rose asked him

Wait, come again? HUH? Whaa? Why would Zara make her own list? She already knew who her crush was because it's her crush. "Erm what? But if you make a list and I have a list then we just leave our lists then both our work would be wasted right?" What was Zara trying to do? Agh. Maybe Nika should just give up trying to find out. If Zara really wanted her to know she would tell Nika. Buuuut Nika was having so much fun trying to guess.

Okay so it was if her whole awesome "Your-better-than-that" speech went to nothing. Was Willie even trying to listen to her? "Willie your starting to get on my nerves with this whole your-not-good-at-anything thing." She said truthfully. "Because Willie you are one of the most awesome boys I know! You are hitting it off great with all of the girls at Hogwarts, most everyone loves you, the professors even think you're great, and I think your amazing. Willie you are such a great guy and I don't care what you think because I think that you should stop thinking about this because you're perfect and you don't need anyone telling you otherwise!" She stopped and took a few deep breathes. "Will you stop moping now?"

Nika smiled and nodded, but on the inside millions of things were running through her head. What's with that "We've been friends...." thing. Of course they've been friends. They still are friends right?! Oh no. Is Emily trying to tell her that she doesn't want to be friends anymore!? NO! That can't happen. "Yeah-- Oh erm yeah, right. Definitely. Try to fix things. That's good. Work things out with her. Yeah." Nika is truly very confused. So it just went from possibly not wanting to be friends to Emily's mom? Huh?

" WEll, I do not read unless it is for homework" William told Rose. " Since you are offering me to a book to read and because it is you, I will read the book" William explained to Rose. " Whwre are you hiding in the Astronomy class?" Wiliam asked Rose.

" I am sorry, I do not to mean to get on your nerves" Willaim told Nika." Well, thank you for saying I am aewsome" William blushed a little." I never thought like you did, the girls like me here and the professors. too, wow" William said to Nika." Well no one is perfect, look how I acted in front of everyone" William explained to Nika." I am really happy now and we will win tour Quidditch match cause I will be rooting hard for the team" William smiled.

"well...all right....i suppose we could dance...but you might have gotten tired of dancing with everyone already." She laughed as a bit of a joke. "unless you know how to do Karate...I really don't know how that goes...or you could come with me and do some front rolls. i need to do 36 more of those."

Zara sighed. Nika would never give up. AAAHHHHHHH.

"Fine." She said. "Go on. Who's first?"

Nika gave herself a mental slap in the forehead. How could she be so thick! "No i didn't mean it like that Willie. I only meant that you being sad and refusing to believe that you are awesome was starting to get on my nerves because I know it's true!" She said reassuringly. "That's the spirit Willie!" She said as she hugged him. Finally he understood. "You're like my little brother Willie, I don't like to see you sad so I'm really glad that your happy again!"

HAHA! Zara gave in! The time has come young Zara. It's time for... DUN DUN DUUUN. *Pause for dramatic affect* The list.

GASP!

Yes, the list. Nika smiled maliciously as she waved the list around. So even if there were only twenty seven names on the list it did take a while and Nika was sure it was one of them. She practically named every Gryffindor boy she could think of plus a few other boys from other houses.

"The first one's erm--" She glanced at the list and then looked back at Zara. "Some kid named Theodore." She said shrugging. Well she hadn't really met some of these kids before, but she had heard about them and wasn't that enough. Some of her friends were friends with them. Some of them she read about in the yearbook from last term.
