Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Oddsbodikins!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

Tayla goggled at the sight in front of her when she stepped inside the Gryffindor Common Room. "Wow!" she exclaimed. Her eyes eagerly scanned the room, with its squashy armchairs, tables, bulletin board, scarlet and gold curtains, and the crackling fireplace. "I love this place," she grinned and said to no one in particular. "I'm so glad I'm in Gryffindor!" She heard a few other first years murmur in agreement.

"I love this place," she grinned and said to no one in particular. "I'm so glad I'm in Gryffindor!" She heard a few other first years murmur in agreement.
She smiled at everyone she saw, wanting to make friends with all the Gryffindors. But Tayla was hoping to see a familiar face. She wanted to have a close friend or two. Tayla looked around and recalled the first year Gryffindors she already met. "Zara, Ari, Rose..." she thought. She liked them very much. "William and Scout...and that older student, Lexi....I wonder where they are," she wondered. Zara looked around the common room. Ah yes, there were lions and lioness everywhere she looked, making conversations with each other. Then, beyond the warmth of the whole place, adding up to the scarlet aura and furnishings of the room, Zara saw the warm smile from a familiar face. 'It's Tayla!' She thought.
Zara instantly waved her hand up her head to catch Tayla's attention, "Tayla! Over here!" She called on her friend.

Heather entered the common room, expecting to see what she had been seeing for the past three years now. It was good to be back in the cozy atmosphere the common room brought with it and decided to stay for awhile before heading back to the dormitory, like she always does.
She took a seat and sat there quietly, admiring the cozyness of the room.
