"Now that other girl in the Yearbook office... I was being nice to her... very much so. Introduced myself and welcomed her. Her attitude with me was highly uncalled for. That was what set me over the edge. I will not deal with disrespect or mocking in any way shape or form," she said with a bit of her Gryffindor firmness coming back.
Lexi frowned at having her actions being called crazy. She didn't like that. At all. "I am quite practiced at the both of the spells actually. Proficient in them. Fire conjuration is my strongest spell," she said plainly. She was careful. Mostly. From what she saw with James and Sal they seemed really fond of Lexi and Cass couldn't see them being tired of helping her or listening to her no how but she kept quiet because she was just going off feelings, Lexi was the one who knew them for years so she must know what she was talking about. Cassie nodded." Yeah I know I don't know and I know how hard it is to cope when things get overwhelming too."
She totally definitely didn't know what to say to Lexi about the incident with the girl. Cassie had decided to ignore her after the response she had gotten from her when she entered and she had been caught up with trying not to stare at James and trying as well to meet the newbies that came into the office. All she remembered was Lexi's last comment and her running out in tears. She figured Lexi was being nice to them though because as far as she knew she was the only one getting the cold shoulder that morning. "Well I wouldn't expect anyone to tolerate such things, I know I wouldn't." She shrugged. If there was one thing about Cass that she held strongly to, it was fairness and equality for all in everything and anything, it probably had a lot to do with why she was in Hufflepuff in the first place.
Cassie nodded. Good for Lexi, she sure as hell knew that she wasn't at all proficient in stuff like that. She was pretty decent in charms over all but transfiguration was her baby. Making and changing things and all that." That's pretty cool, I haven't really practiced stuff like that outside of every day use."

Cass said enthusiastically, she couldn't believe there was someone in Hogwarts who wrote songs too. So cool!
Then she frowned. What is football? But then decided to shrug it off, hmm, maybe its some new sport or something.
Then wrinkled her nose "Shaw? Yeah. He's weird." Cass said in agreement. Who addresses themselves in the third person? Then she raised an eyebrow in surprise "Really? He brandished a chainsaw at you? That's alarming."

Amy had been bored out of her small skull and after scouring the libarary for a decent book for her homework, gotten into a fight with Simon and then snapped at the libaraian for getting involved. Granted she hadn't lost any points but it still made her blood boil. So after snapping once more at Simon and threatening to slap him, she'd decided to make a detour and had somehow found her way to the bathroom. And it wasn't because she was hiding from Simon's girlfriend..No. Course not.
Pfffft....
She'd pushed the door open and made her way over to the sink, splashing water on her face, trying to cool herself down and, seeing as she's accidently-totally-on-purpose, had soaked her hair and was now restyling it. That would prove Simon wrong. See. She could look..sort of pretty. Sort of

That would prove Simon wrong. See. She could look..sort of pretty. Sort of Brielle's nose was almost touching the book she had found in her old trunk, her mother must have put it there. Thank you, mum. she thought, smiling as she walked on, mindless of where her feet were taking her. The book was a muggle one, seeing as she was a half blood. Finally finishing the chapter she was in, she closed the book and looked up, checking where she had gone this time. Turning around, she could see that she was in the Second Floor, just in front of the Girls Bathroom. "Perfect," she whispered to herself. The girls bathroom at this time meant less people, and less noise. She could at least read her book in peace.
Pushing the old, great door Brielle stepped into the wide Bathroom, hoping that it would be empty. She assumed she was right, at first... until she saw a girl standing in front of the mirror, fiddling with her hair. Brielle was tempted to withdraw, as she usually did when she would see people, but this time she approached the girl. "Hey there," she called out, smiling, then stopped when she was about a few feet away. Oops. Now what was she supposed to say? |

Amy paused mid plait as she heard a voice, oooh, so people did come in here, last time they had she'd got into an argument with one gryfindor. Awkward. Still, she looked at the girl in the mirror, sizing her up, just as small tall as Amy short bum, though she looked younger. Ah. It seemed there were only little peoples this year. It kinda sucked..
And the girl was holding a BOOK?! Books were bad, books made you think, and Amy wasn't very good at logical thinking, illogical she was fine but logical..ah. A Ravenclaw, so Amy couldn't really hold it against the girl for having a book, if there was one thing she was sure about, it was that Ravvie's ALWAYS had a book on them, hai she grinned at the girl, swinging around and letting go of her hair so it fell out in waves. The girl looked, proper nervous. Proper nervous. Ah well. Amy was nice. She didn't bite.
She looked a little mental with damp hair but she was normal. Well, not normal but definatley nice. She was a hufflepuff after all

She was a hufflepuff after all Brielle tried to ease up her breathing as the other girl turned around to look at her, letting her wavy hair fall down. "Oh," she exclaimed lightly, looking admiringly at th other girl's hair. It was just like her mother's, and she always wanted her's to turn out like that. Unfortunately though, her hair was as straight as a stick, just like her father's.
Her smile widened as the girl grinned at her, maybe meeting people now and then wasn;t so bad after all. "I was expecting the bathroom to be empty," she explained, holding up her book. "I'm Gabrielle by the way, but you can call me Brielle, or Bree, its your choice," she said, holding out her hand for a shake. |

Amy nodded at the girl, absentmindedly fidling with her nails, oh rigggghhht Amy nodded knowingly. She knew nothing in actuality but the girl needn't know that. She quickly tied up her hair into a loose pony tail, deciding to re do it later, oooh, Gabrielle, she liked that name, she always wanted to be called Gabby. But she was an Amy. BREE! It was a desparate housewives moment, Bree, she nodded, grinning at the girl.
....
A hand..Oh. Righhttt. Got it, Amy shook her hand, oh yeah, my name. Right, she said dumbly, Amelia she nodded, but please, call me Amy, please she nodded, she hated her full name, it was so poncy and ye oldy and...stuff, Hufflepuff fourth year |

"I don't think the Headmaster was the one who hired him." Cass said slowly as she recalled Tate's face when he mentioned the Ministry. It didn't look like he was too happy about it. "I think the ones who are attached to the Ministry were assigned by Lord Borr. You know, the new minister for magic." Then she shrugged "Well, as for the other new professors, yeah, I've met them, during the start of term feast. They seem pretty sane, so I guess Tate was the one who hired them." Then she turned to the young girl "How about you? Have you met all of them?"

Amy grinned at the girl, is ginny short for anything? She asked, it sounded like a nickname, or maybe Amy was just a little...off quilter. I'm sure he was, he was hufflepuff after all, oh yeah, we are very nice and stuff but remember, the epic fourth year is me. Amy Samson |

Oh right, cuz I droppped out a year, totally by choice, whatever you heard she finished hurridly, really she was a good girl, she just liked to muck about. A lot. And be a dinosaur. As you do. Brielle grinned. "Yes, Slytherin, too. I've met a few of them... and they aren't really that bad," she said, smiling at Amy. She could perfectly understand what she reacted that way, even Brielle thought badly of the house at first. "Oh, but wouldn't that year have been a bit lonely? Didn't you miss all your friends here?" she asked, curiously. "Brielle's a great name too. Are you French?" Ginny had always been fascinated with cultures and names, for some odd reason. Suddenly she felt a little self-consious about her boring name.
Seeing as the girls were talking about Houses, Ginny piped up: "I'm a Gryffindor. What about you guys?"[/QUOTE] "Thanks!" Brielle said, turning to the girl. "I think your names adorable, too. It suits you very well. Oh, and I'm not french, but my mum told me they had visited France while she was pregnant with me, so... yeah," she smiled. "Oooh, a Gryffindor? That's awesome. I'm a Ravenclaw," she said proudly.

I'm sure he was, he was hufflepuff after all, oh yeah, we are very nice and stuff but remember, the epic fourth year is me. Amy Samson "Yeah, it's short for Ginevra." For once she actually felt comfortable saying her full, embarrassing name. "To say that my parents are huge fans of the Potter family is an understatement."
Ginny laughed. "Touche, touche! Is Amy short for Amelia?" Quote:

Ginny seemed to be meeting more people from the other Houses than she was her own, she thought ironically. "My godfather was a Ravenclaw! He's probably one of the best people I know." Even though Ginny loved Gryffindor because of her mother, she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when she wasn't sorted into Ravenclaw like her godfather.

Then she turned to the young girl "How about you? Have you met all of them?" "Oh!" She said as realization hit her. "That's right I do remember someone mentioning the Ministry." Why didn't she think of that before. She knew some of the professors were from the ministry, but she wasn't sure who they were. Well until now. So that weird accent dude must be from the ministry as well... "Yeah I went down and talked to new Herbology teacher! And thank merlin that the professor has experience with the subject. Last terms herbology lessons were a mess. "The care of magical creatures professor doesn't seem half bad either. I talked to him during the feast." Even though it wasn't a long conversations at least he didn't tell her to leave because he wanted to eat.

So are you a halfblood too?" Brielle asked, her eyes sparkling. If Ginny indeed was, then she would be the first person Brielle would have met that was the same as her. "Really? Wow, that's great! Most of the people I know have been sorted to Hufflepuff, so I don't really know much about Gryffindor, maybe you can tell me more about it!" she exclaimed, grinning at the younger girl, or at least, she assumed was younger. |

"Well, I'm more of a mixed blood. My mom's a muggleborn and my dad's half blood. But they gave me the choice of going to Muggle school or not, and I decided yes!" Ginny said, noticing how Brielle's eyes lit up when she mentioned going to a Muggle school. "Well, I suppose we're supposed to be brave and all," she chuckled. "To be honest, I didn't feel very brave my first couple of days here!" |

"Oh, I haven't gotten 'round to meeting the CoMC professor. I'm still a bit unhappy about Professor Saylen leaving Hogwarts." She continued with a small frown
