Nessie carried on watching Tyler's reaction. Right now he seemed calmish. Which was good because if he wasn't it was only going to be so much harder. She then felt puffles crawl up her arm and onto her shoulders to hide behind her long red hair. He didn't usually do that unless something scared him. Nessie looked next to Tyler and spotted a cage with an owl, but why was Puffles scared of the owl. He got along perfectly well with Aya her tawny owl. She then noticed that Tyler's owl had just bit him. "Are you okay?" she asked looking at his finger, It was probably what had scared Puffles. He couldn't stand the sight of blood.

Trying to focus on what she was going to say on rather looking at her finger. She closed her eyes took a few deep breathes and looked at Tyler again. "Okay here I go." she whispered very quietly to herself. "Im..um.. really, really Sorry about the other day." So far so good, but she had a feeling she was going to mess up soon. "I was just not myself that day and I was crazy and I hope you'll forgive me." she then looked at him anxious.

She couldn't keep it in anymore. "Rosehas acrush onyou". She said it so quick she could bearly even understand herself what she said. She then realised she had said it. She covered her mouth immidiately. Rose was going to kill her if she found out. She was in deep trouble now. "Im sorry" she said hopelessly. She had now messed up. A small tear slid down her cheek. Why did she have to cry now, this was only going to ruin everything more. Too embarressed she got up and slowly started walking out. This was now a huge mess.

Tyler glanced at the Pygmy Puff wondering if it had owl phobia or something, he'd never seen one react like that or it could have even been him after the whole corridor incident. "I'm fine" he replied, pulling his sleeve away from his finger to examine the damage. It was just a minor cut, he wrapped his sleeve around it again.

Tyler listened to her apology, nodding every so often just to ensure she knew he was actually listening. He'd only wished she'd realized on that very day how weirdly she'd been acting. "Finally" he said. Was he meant to apologize now? He did know why he should, all he did was defend himself that day but he thought it better to. "I'm sorry too... For... For... Yeah" he said, not knowing what to say.

He found himself staring at her again, what has a crush on who? No, she didn't mean him, she must mean somebody with the name You. He laughed slightly "alright, nice joke" he got up and held onto her arm to stop her from leaving the compartment. "Why? You don't have to leave" he said.

Luna looked around the compartments for Rachel

Puffles seemed to be to scared to move. Not even five minutes ago, he was running away from her, He even made her trip but now he held onto her for dear life. Stupid Pygmy Puff. When Tyler pulled his sleeve away she felt Puffles grip grow tighter. It was deffinately the blood that was scaring him out. It wasn't even a question. Then when he put his sleeve over it again, Puffles calmed down.

Nessie was glad to see he was actually listening. When she had first walked into the compartment she doubted he would even let her talk. It feltgood to be on talking terms with him again. She really did miss him. Nessie listened to his apology, in a way she didn't feel he owed her one, but some of the things he had said that day really did hurt her. "Its..Okay!" she said

"Its...its not a joke" said Nessie the tears falling quicker. She had just ruined everything for Rose. She was such a terrible friend. She turned around hoping her face wet with tears wouldn't freak him out. It wasn't like he'd never see her cry before. She started debating wether to talk again and tell him. Well she wanted to tell him the truth, but what if it would hurt Rose. Or even worse what if it would hurt her. Slowly taking her time she looked at him. "Um....Rose..kinda..likes you" she said pointing to him. She now felt worse. Rose would never trust her again.

She covered her mouth again. Why couldn't she lie when she most needed too. She wished she hadn't said a word. Stupid, Silly me. If I carry on like this. I'll never have any friends. She looked down a little scared of what Tyler's reaction was going to be.

Was he feeding her enough? That was, indeed, a good question. Of course, nothing less could be expected from the Lioness Princess. ''The last time i tried to actually feed her, which was about two years ago, she tried to take my nose and right ear too. I do like my nose and right ear as they come in handy. So i haven't tried to so ever since.'' Eyeing the bird again, he wondered for an instant if Carter's owl was any different from this unstable, wild girl. Well...he hoped so since it was going to be kind of hard to handle two flesh-hungry, psyho birds. ''But i let her free all the time. So i believe she is able to find her own food. Since she is still alive and...energetic enough to attack.'' Yeah, that totally made sense.

Then his dark brown eyes moved from the bird to the lioness then to the cat, King Pee. Robes? Well...it was actually robe since he only had one yet no one needed to know that little, unimportant detail. ''Yeah. I suppose so. I did my best to wash it off. At least...the smell is gone.'' As he spoke, he leaned down and petted the cat a bit as he seemed to be all friendly right now yet he rose back and stared at Kurumi since what she had said next was...weird but interesting for he had never heard a cat getting obsessed or annoyed by a colour. ''Colour yellow? Really? Eh...it's good that i don't have a yellow shirt or anything. And i'll make sure not to bring one next term.''

Wait? Was the cat...approaching to his girlfriend? It definitely was and...oh...it did not look like he was going to pee on her.

Ah?

Staring at the girl for a moment or so, Josh just...smirked. She probably would not have listened to him. Apparently she did not know what he did to those who tried to ignore him yet...there was also the fact that he would never do that to a lady. And yes, Selina was a lady. Not only a lady but also a friend. So, she was perfectly safe no matter what she did.

''I can't say that is a bad choice, Selina, but please do always bear this in mind; not listening to my words won't always lead you to the right path.'' Especially when it was about...guys. Like...the last girl he had warned about the BigHead Boy Finny was Sophie and as expected, she was broken hearted by him.



As usual, Simon had his reasonable points about something. And Josh very well understood his worries about that he might get himself into bigger troubles during the summer yet Josh Carter was Josh Carter and he had his standards, principles and...answers...again as usual. And that included getting one's hands dirty or not. ''You very well know, Si. I would never hesitate to get my hands dirty if i happen to think that it is necessary.'' And this case was, no matter how much he had tried to let it go, getting bigger and bigger everyday. ''So nope. It wouldn't be as satisfying. At least not for me.''

Right after he voiced the last word, the Gryffindor boy's attention was about to slip back to the cat yet Simon completely had it back the next moment as he mentioned....gifts.

Gifts?

For him too? Now that was not something he was expecting.

And before he could say anything Josh found his bestie presenting a broom for him. That was...his gift? But...no. ''Simon, there is no way i can...'' ...take this. Yet again, that attempt was blocked by the other lion boy's next words. No arguments. He wanted his word to be final. So, blinking a few times with deeply surprised eyes, he slowly reached to take the broom. Well then, at least it could be commemorative gift for him from a good friend. It was his own after all, right? He had not bought it though it looked new. There were no places around Hogwarts to buy a broom. ''Um...thank you. But...should not it be me instead who needed to give something to you?''



As troublesome as a prefect?

Upon hearing that Josh couldn't help but let a short laughter out. But it had no sarcasm in it of course, it just made him laugh...because she had actually compared him with a prefect. Once his laughter was over, there was a warm smile on his face as he still stared at his girlfriend. For a certain reason. He had always been, somehow, misunderstood and mistaken for an aimless troublemaker. But nope, Josh Carter did not cause trouble for fun. At least not since maybe...his third year. It was all because of his uncontrolable, short temper and apparently Evelyn knew it pretty well. She did not mistake him for a constant troublemaker.

Then she agreed to talk and asked if it was going to be right now. Yet...Josh was not really feeling like answering that, he just kept staring with a smile until...

...he simply walked forward, wrapped his arms around her waist and kind of...locked his lips with hers.

Then...he was not sure after how long, yet, he had remembered there were others in the compartment.

So, he supposed he had to pull away before they would freak out, no matter how much he wanted to keep it. As a result, pulling away he just whispered ''Yes, if it's okay with you.'' as a late answer to her question.

"Good, now we can all be happy and play happy chocolate games" he said with a grin, hoping it's make her feel more comfortable. "Or not" he shrugged.

he watched her tears, it was sad to watch, he hated seeing anybody upset, especially a friend, even if she had done some crazy things. "Um..." he left a long pause, he took him some time to actually let what she was saying sink in. He was speechless, he could not think of much to say apart from a simple "oh...". He placed his hands in his pockets, hoping one, the pygmy puff would quit being scared and two, that it'd numb his finger. He started rocking back and forth on his feet, whistling a dumb tune he'd made up on the spot. "I guess you weren't meant to tell me that? A secret? That just slipped out?" he said.

"Are you okay?" he asked, she was crying, kinda, but he didn't just want to go out and ask why was she crying, it might make it worse.

Ness giggled a little at his comment, but too be honest she find kind of embarressing. He always brought up something to do with the incedent that happened at HoneyDukes almost a year ago. Couldn't he get over it. Nessie's cheeks started going as bright red as her hair.

Nessie looked up again when he said Um. Was that all he was going to say. She kinda expected him to have a freak out attack. She knew she would. And so would Rose when she found out he knew. She looked at Tyler and watched as he put his hand in his pockets. Immidiatley Puffles calmed down he then repositioned himself, so he wasn't standing behind her hair anymore. She shook her head at Tyler as she started speaking. "I wasn't supposed to tell you, but...but I thought you needed to know" she said a little slowly. "Please don't tell her I told you!"

Why was he asking her if she was okay? Shouldn't she be the one asking him that. "Im..um fine, I just feel so bad that I've betrayed Rose" she said. What she really needed right now was a hug. She knew Tyler would think she was crazy but she didn't care. She walked closer to him and gave him a big hug, being careful not to wet his shirt. She then walked back and realised that she needed to ask him something, to see if she could tell him the rest. "Well um.. do you like her back?" she asked anxious. Her tears were going away slowly, but she was worried they'd be back soon if Tyler answered the wrong thing.

D'awww, lookit his little paws curling. D'awwwwwwwww!! There was no way she could ignore that. Even if just for a moment, she'd pet him. "You are the cutest cat ever." she cooed, leaning over and scratching behind his ears gently. His little legs! Just look at them! Squee! "Even more than Poof. Don't tell her I said that though."

Teehee. Cat gossip. Although the petting would have to be cut short.



Mostly because once she looked up to Josh, she wasn't expecting his arms on her waist, nor the kiss. A pleasant surprise?

Yes, yes it was.

She didn't care there were others in the compartment, and instead, enjoyed the moment. Hmmm, if it was okay with her? What was okay... Aw right, the talking...thing. "It's fine with me." she muttered, a small smile playing on her lips. Well, a lot less nervous about this 'talk', but she figured they wouldn't be talking in here? With an audience?

"Its okay" she said giving him a small thumbs up. Atleast he'd stop now. Or she hopped so.

Ness watched Tyler's reaction. At least he's reaction wasn't too bad. He was just speechless. Nessie was happy to know that he wouldn't tell Rose he knew just yet. What was he talking about? Her face started to look a little confused. "Say what? Whats lame?" she asked. The tears were almost gone now. She was just waiting for his answer wether it was good or bad. She'd find out eventually and it was better now then later, well at least she thought so.

How could he not know? When it comes to feelings you either know or you don't Right? Well maybe not. Now that Nessie thought of it she was also pretty much having mixed feelings, maybe Tyler was feeling like her. "Well surely you know how you feel?" she said trying to get a better answer out of him, she felt that his I don't know wasn't a good enough answer for her to decide what to do next. Maybe he didn't want to answer, but she needed to know. She looked down again, maybe it would be easier for him to talk if she wasn't looking at him. She knew that sometimes helped with herself.

"What I said... It... Doesn't matter" he shook his head, he liked confusing people sometimes, but now wasn't the time for it.

He had a horrible feeling this wasn't going to end until she got her answer, he wondered why it was even relevant to her. It seemed like she had to know, she needed to, like she wouldn't stop until the answer was revealed. "Why do you wan't to know? It's not about you so why would you care?" he said, watching the floor, it wasn't very interesting, nothing moved. "Maybe I don't know how I feel" he said, not moving his eyes from the plain spot on the floor.

Alas, her theory had been thwarted. Unless Conan's father was some other person like...Goofy or something. She would just have to wait and see. "Really? Any time you want to?" Although, Kurumi was actually more of a fan of Chip and Dale. Who didn't like chipmunks?! "I'd really like that. I wonder if he will remember me. I met him when I was little..."

But her words were cut off when Conan mentioned birthdays. He REALLY didn't need to do that. Celebrating her birthday wasn't something she ever really did unless it was with her family. In fact, she had yet to do so at Hogwarts. Not even Adam had ever given her a birthday gift and, surprisingly, she didn't mind it too much. Nope, May 12th came and went like every other day. "I'd love to meet Ariel," she exclaimed clapping her hands together and totally ignoring the birthday bit for now. "I was actually hoping that this term we would get to turn ourselves into mermaids during the event put on by the prefects."

One childhood dream still not realized. Double alas.

"Well, it's about time I started rubbing off on you since you have been rubbing off on me all term," she said playfully nudging Selina with her elbow. Just the other day she compared something to Quidditch. All Selina's fault. "Would you believe me if I told you that I had pretty much locked myself up in the library studying?"

TWO YEARS AGO?!

Kurumi's jaw dropped and she gawked at Josh as he explained his relationship, or lack there of, with the owl. No wonder she was so vicious, she was essentially a wild owl being kept in a cage. Probably resenting every moment of it too. Kurumi suddenly felt bad for the owl, who clearly was seeing all humans as oppressors who ought to have their fingers bitten off and put in sandwiches.

"Maybe...she isn't happy being an wizard's owl," Kurumi said, cocking her head to look at the owl. "Maybe you should let her be free? She might like that better."

Ah yes, very good Pineapple Boy. See, the inferior human brain COULD learn its place and worship properly. Yes, Walnut was enjoying these scratches...but his Rose Princess needed the cat's attention more. So, it was time to keep waddling towards her.

Kurumi smiled as it seemed like the two Kings of Gryffindor, in their own right, were finally getting along. "Yeah...I don't know why he is so mad about yellow. That, and he destroyed a box of peppermint cookies I had baked and left on my bed. So...yellow and peppermint are on his hate list."

Honestly, this cat was insane. Professor McFausty needed to work with him more it seemed.

Yes I will Asparagus Boy, the cat purred. This human knew how to scratch him properly behind the year. He really should put that on a job resume. He was sure that other humans would be impressed that he got a cat's paw of approval. Few humans had that you know.

"I am sure he will," Kurumi nodded looking down at Walnut. After all, Walnut had never peed on Simon or any of his things. That was a very good sign.

Conan nodded, "I can meet any of the characters I want to. One night we can stay in one of the hotels and I will take you for a character breakfast. Where we can eat our breakfast with the characters." He had breakfasts, lunch and dinners with the characters on his birthdays, before he started Hogwarts. It was his favourite day of the year.

"Then I will introduce you. And to all the other Princesses too. I might even be able to get you a dance with a prince. Like Aladdin," he beamed. He loved his dad's influence. It got him whatever he wanted in the parks. But he rarely used that. He did use the discount though. He got his underwear there. Not that anyone would know. He didn't exactly flash his underwear to anyone. "We can do anything you want." Anything was possible.

Selina laughed at Kurumi and said, "Me rubbing off on you? The only thing that I could rub off on you is my obsession with Quidditch. Everything else would be an annoyance to you and somehow I don't think you would adopt my temper..." It was true, besides Quidditch Selina's wicked temper was her trademark.

Then she laughed ad said, "Somehow I would believe that. I could see you camped up in the library. Did you enjoy all of those wrinkly pages?"

[spoiler= Evelyn] Evelyn kept starring at Selina and she swore she could feel all of the heat of the sun radiating from the girl's eyes. She tried to keep her eyes off of the Slytherin... but she was making it hard. So then she turned her attention to Josh and replied to his statement.



She sat back in her seat and watched him give her some sound advice. Maybe she should hear him out, he did always seem to have his heart in the right place. Although advice wise Selina was never really good at taking it. She could give advice as sound as a therapist, 'course she had so many issues herself that anyone else's advice was usually not Selina's first course of action.

But she smiled regardless of all of the thought's swimming around in her head, "Well if my back is up against the wall I'll make sure to remember you told me so."



Selina watched as Simon started to be his usual nice guy thing. Leave it to Simon to take the negative of him leaving and make it a happy occasion, sad but not depressing. He was leaving all of them tokens to remember him by and they were all relevant to each of their relationships with Simon. Then she noted that he gave Josh his broom, except it was not the broom that Selina had given him. Was he keeping that broom? Or was she just imaging that little detail. Either way it did make her feel happy to an extent. It was like he would always have a piece of her with him. Even if he didn't look at her the way she looked at him. Then again she was only thirteen. She was always reminding herself of that fact.

He then turned to Selina last and handed her a small box. She gave him a look of shock that he had actually gotten her something. But regardless she pulled the bow off the box and opened a small necklace. She read the engraving and looked up at him with wide eyes. Was he talking about her ability. The blue tattoo that was now on her shoulder burned a little with the thought of the vision she had in the common room. Then again he mentioned a Captain, "It's beautiful... what does it mean?"

William hopes he sees more friends here,

Kurumi's eyes were now definitely popping out of her head. "Any character you want?" she repeated, enunciating each syllable as clear as a crystal. "Conan...YOU ARE AMAZING!" Okay, NOW she hugged him. She had always wanted to meet Ariel...and a bunch of other characters. Heck, she didn't even remember when she had met Mickey, so she wanted to see him again.

Kurumi's hands then flew to her mouth. Aladdin?! Oh no! But then he would know just how horrible a dancer she was! "H-He might laugh at me," she squeaked. "I can't really dance..."

"Exactly," Kurumi nodded, trying to hide her groan as best she could. Was it possible that Kurumi might start to like Quidditch better than baking? Perhaps that would happen the day that a troll learned how to sing well.

"The pages were not wrinkly," Kurumi said, feeling as though she had to defend the books' honor. "Madam Donovan keeps her books in perfect condition. Nice and crisp!" She folded her arms across her chest. "And yes I did, very much actually." She stuck her tongue out playfully.

That Simon certainly did know, had been witness to much of its examples or saw the outcome of the rest of the scenarios. He simply shook his head but vowed to let it go. He wouldn't be able to watch his friend's back or help him anymore unless it was outside school and Josh sought it out from him.

The departing captain nearly laughed as he saw the reaction he got from his gift, especially when, as expected, Josh tried to protest the broom being offered to him. But thankfully Josh cut off when Simon's own words sunk in to the other Gryffindor. "You're welcome Josh," he said before shaking his head at the question that had followed his thanks.

"No...I wouldn't expect anything of anyone, I just felt the need to show how much you guys meant to me," Simon assured him though he looked to all three of them. "Besides, with me not flying all too much at least as forseeable in the near future, you'll have more use of it so I wanted you to have it."



Simon couldn't help smiling as the feline purred, a simple action that would seem odd to miss. Shoot living at Hogwarts one dealt with a lot of cats and kneezles and owls, being home more it would be far quieter just being around less animals. "Good..." he said simply as Kurumi answered for Walnut.



Simon returned Selina's look of shock with a bemused one of his own, as if silently asking her if she really was questioning that he wouldn't be including her. "It means that until such time as you follow in my footsteps, you should remember that you're already a captain," he remarked smiling at her. The seventh year sincerly hoped that one day she would get her wish and he figured he should offer her his support.

“You sure?” Mordred smirked at her. Girls love gifts. He was very sure of that. “I’ll get you something from Greece, or Egypt.” He made a mental note that it has to be useful. Mordred assumed that Aurora’s really not the girly type. Stuffed toys – she might just rip off its head.

“Well, if you look closely I’m really not the sunshiny type of person.” He said with a dark tone. “Mum would faint if I don a yellow shirt. Worse, my father might disown me.” He added waiting for Aurora’s reaction. “I’m kidding. He won’t do that.” He said smiling. The boy cannot wait to see them. He has so much to tell, especially his time alone in the room of requirements.

“Yuck. Dress robes.” He said with a disgusted face. “I hate to wear one. It’s too stiff. I feel like I’m being strangled with a tie. What will you do if I wear muggle clothes to the occasion?” he said with a mischievous smile. He’d consider that idea.

“You’ll find someone to go with you. But if ever you don’t...you know who to ask.” He said as he panicked a little. “Of course! I have to have a date. Merlin's socks!”

“I think no one would go out with me. I’m too boring.” He said as he looked at his friend. He's not the friendly type either. “I guess.” he murmured. He then looked at the white paper bag, to the jelly baby...and it screamed. “Awesome.” Mordred took a piece and chewed it. “Thanks!”

Ness looked at Tyler with a confused look. She tried to figure it out but she just couldn't. So isntead she decided to try and ignore it.

She looked up again when he asked her why she wanted to know. She thought what to answer. She knew she couldn't tell him the real reason why. If she did he'd have the biggest fit of his life. She just needed to think of a good excuse, but everything she thought of was just so lame and stupid.

"Um.. I..I just want to um... try help out and ...I do care... your my my friend." That was one of the worst lies she had ever said. She was stuttering and it was just so obvious she was lying. She looked down again, maybe if he couldn't see her eyes he would still believe her stupid lie. She really did care as he was her friend, but she really didn't want to help him, if he did like Rose. It would just be too hard for her.

She slowly lifted her face once again and saw that Tyler was now looking down. "Well what do you mean?" Asked Nessie. She wasn't going to stop not untill she got a yes or a no. "I mean surely you have to know." She said. She decided to keep her head up this time. So she kept her eyes on the window behind Tyler and watched the scenery outside.

Janice took a seat in the compartment.
"Nice to meet you, William."

"Well, I do see Fee a lot in school, and her friends call her 'Fee'..." She trailled off a little, but recovered after a few seconds. "Oh, no, not yet. I still need to babysit my brother.." She said. Penny is going to Egypt. How lucky..

Rose walked down the Corridor to ind Nessie. She had run off trying to find Puffles! She saw her in a Compartment with Tyler. Great, she ditched me! Then she saw the look on Nessie's face. There were tear tracks going down her face! She slid the Compartment door open. 'Hey, Tyler!' Rose grinned at him. Then she spoke to Nessie. 'Ness, are you alright? You look upset! And you look confused, Tyler! Have you two had another row...?' Rose sighed in exasperation. 'What have you said to each other this time...?' Rose sighed, all ready to bring out the Peacemaking Kit!

Aurora grinned, "Well if it's from another country..." she chuckled. "I can hardly turn it down." She wished she was going somewhere new... she'd never been to Egypt and she'd heard so much about it, it sounded amazing. As for Greece, well, the family had spent half a year on the Island of Santorini when she was tiny, something to do with Vampires apparently, and she didn't remember.

Aurora raised an eyebrow, "I could make you sunshiny..." And all of a sudden that was too funny to keep a straight face. She burst into laughter. "Though I suppose you'd probably wither and die if I attacked you with bright clothes." she grinned. She doubted his Father would disown him, it was only a colour.

Dress robes. Boys always hated dress robes."I like dress robes. They make people look smart." and attractive... she thought. "And I'm not sure what they'd say. Aren't muggle clothes a bit... boring for you? And much less fancy." Boring old muggles.

She grinned. "Well then, if there is a ball next year and neither of us have anyone to go with then we shall go together. Okay?" she said. She'd like to see Mordred in dress robes, she had the feeling he was the kind of person who really suited looking smart...

Aurora raised her eyebrows, boys really thought about that sort of thing? "Now, don't say that. Weren't you the one telling me not to give up before?" she asked. "They're cool aren't they?" she popped another squealing Jelly Baby into her mouth. "I get my sister to order them from Germany for me. They're from this cute little sweetshop in Wurzburg - the best Jelly Babies in the world!" she said, grinning.

Penny felt bad that Janice was going to spend her summer babysitting... Although the feeling bad, hadn't fully gone away since she'd found out that that her family would be staying home and not going away as planned..

Penny had an idea, maybe Janice would be able to come stay at her Aunt's in last week of holidays..

"I'm gonna be going back to Ireland for a few weeks.... then I'm coming back to London and stay with my Aunt.. get my school supplies and such - Would you be able to come over to stay?, maybe the last week of holidays - we could catch the express back together then."..

Then Penny remembered something.."Oh and we can meet Ness and William in Diagon Alley - i've already arranged to meet them"..

Penny cheered up with the thought that it wouldn't be very long til she saw her friends again..

Conan nodded, "Any." He smiled. She was more excited than he was to be going to his house it would seem. He did love going home though. His eyes shot wide open. She hugged him. Like proper hugged him. He suddenly blushed red. He was shocked. Kurumi had hugged him. Not when she was Sierra, when she was really Kurumi.

He shook his head, "He won't laugh at you. But if you'd rather not dance with him. You can dance with me if you want." He would like that. Though him dancing with Jasmine wasn't a problem.
