Rose felt tears come to her eyes. 'What, do you two not trust me!?' Rose asked, looking from Tyler to Ness. WHY WILL NO ONE TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!? Rose said in her mind

Ness looked at Tyler getting annoyed now. So she had answer him every little question but he wouldn't even answer one. She rolled her eyes trying to show him that he was being a little irritating and unfair. "Well.. I'm just..um.. tired" she hopped he wouldn't carry on now. Couldn't he just let her be. She would have let him leave if he wanted as bad as she did. She nodded her head at Tyler she didn't feel it was necessary to tell him he was hers too. She was sure he knew that. It would probably just make Rose upset, that her and Tyler were so close.

He was making it so obvious. Rose was probably going to figure out the puzzle. Nessie just hoped she wouldn't be in the room when that happened. "Ty.I dono either." She said trying to make it unobvious. It was like Tyler was hoping a fight would happen. She hoped he realised what he was doing.

Ness smiled inside when he said she was her best friend, but she still didn't know if it was enough for now. She looked at Rose, If it was rose he'd probably say because your my crush. Or something stupid like that. She wanted to spend time with Tyler but she wanted to be with him alone for a change. Couldn't Rose leave? That was probably never going to happen.

When Rose said try me, Nessie felt like running away to anywhere. She was not going to stop was she? Great now he had to make everything even more obvious. Ness folded her arms, trying to make him see he messed up again. Why couldn't he get it right.


Great more tears, which made things worse. Ness was really thinking of leaving now. She did trust Rose, but some things were only meant to be told to certain people, people who would understand better. In this case Rose just wasn't allowed to know."We do trust you." Was all she could say without lying.

'If you trust me, then why won't anyone tell me what's going o-' Then it hit her. 'No...' Rose whispered. 'You didn't...' Rose said, quietly turning to Nessie

As soon as Rose figured it out, Ness decided it be best to leave before Rose would hex her. "As I was saying I kinda need to be leaving." Said Ness. If she didn't get away soon, Rose would kill her. She didn't mean to say it, it just kinda came out.

She looked at Tyler hoping he would say something to maybe defend her. She really did need help here. She didn't exactly get what to say. She would have said Sorry but she was going to wait for Rose to get mad first. She looked at Rose again and started only just imagining how bad this was going to end. She needed to get out of this fast. She still wondered what Tyler's answer was, but she wouldn't be able to know unless Rose left, or unless Rose and Tyler spoke. She unfolded her arms. She had a worried look on her face now. Slowly she headed for the door again.

'How... could you?' Rose asked, quietly. 'After I told you that,' Rose's voice started to rise, 'in CONFIDENCE!' Rose emphasized the word loudly. 'You promised me!' Rose cried. 'You promised you wouldn't tell!' Rose cried, sitting down and curling up in a ball.

Tyler looked from Nessie to Rose... Here we go. Better keep quiet, he told himself. It was all unfolding like he thought it would yet he hoped it didn't. Tyler hated lying otherwise he'd make up some dumb lie saying what was really happening was the'd found a huge bear made of chocolate in the compartment and were discussing where it had come from and how it got here. Although he didn't think that'd work right now, it sounded like an obvious lie, but anything is possible.

He started whistling again, the same silly tune he had done with Nessie earlier. He stared down at the boring old floor again, his good old friend that had allowed him to avoid difficult situations. It was doing a good job so far. As the two of them spoke he dragged his right foot over the floor making random shapes for no reason at all but to make it more interesting.

After a long pause he spoke "okay... Guys, don't yell. Erm..." he had to think fast otherwise both of them would be upset, he didn't wan't anything bad to happen to Nessie so the only way was to lie. "I... Forced it out of her, she said she'd spoken to you and I asked why, I knew she was lying so I forced her to tell me the truth" he lied, but it sounded pretty convincing for him. He lifted his head and awaited to be yelled at or attacked.

Rose continued to cry. 'Well, how can I belive that? She still shouldn't have said! I've been trying to force it out of you guys, and you haven't cracked!' Rose cried,lifting her head to look at Tyler

Nessie was speechless "I'm sorry.. It kinda just came out." She said freaking out now. She looked at Rose and then at Tyler again. Say something Tyler. She didn't know what else to say. She could have told Rose the reason why she thought the words came out, but Tyler was standing right there and Rose wouldn't trust Nessie anymore.

"I feel so bad, I'm such a bad friend" said Ness to Rose. She looked at Tyler once more, why was he so quiet all of a sudden, it wasn't like him at all. He was supposed to be a Griffindor so why wasn't he acting like one and why wasn't he standing up for her, maybe he would rather stand up for Rose. Ness wished she could just run and cry, but Rose was already in tears so Tyler didn't need more of that. And Rose wpuld probably be more furious with Nessie if she ditched.


Eventually something came out of his mouth, but it was a lie. "He's lying" said Nessie straight, if she was going want Rose to ever trust her again the only way was the truth. "He's just trying to stick up for me." She carried on. She hopped Tyler wouldn't get mad she hopped he'd realize it was the only way Rose would trust her.

'Kinda just came out?' Rose asked, her expression changing. She was now livid. But, she didn't like shouting. Hurt her voice! 'Well, that makes it all better doesn't it...' Rose said, not daring to say anything else. NOT! She wished she had never told Nessie now. No, improvement. She wished she had never met Nessie. 'If you told me a secret crush, I would NEVER tell him!' Rose said quietly, but firmly. My God she was sick of this. 'WHY IS EVERYONE LYING TO ME!?' Rose shouted, getting angry. Then she calmed herself a bit, and continued to cry.

She still hadn't heard what Tyler thought about all of this!

Ness looked at Rose again. She really was a bad person, what friend would go do such a thing. "I'm sorry I know it was bad, but.. but sometimes things just happen." She said. She couldn't think of anything that would convince Rose to trust her now. She knew Rose would have never done this to her. It just wasn't like her. "I know you wouldn't , but try picture yourself in my situation.". She hoped that might help a little. She knew Rose must have been feeling angry and Nessie would to, but she would have eventually forgave Rose. "I know you must be mad, but what's done is done, I really wish I could change it."

She looked at Tyler hoping he wasn't mad at her either. They had just made up she didn't want them not to be on non-talking terms again. It was just too terrible for her. Nessie took a seat opposite Rose. She was fairly close to Tyler's owl which was in his cage, but the owl wasn't close enough to touch Ness. She wondered what the owls name could be but now was not the time to ask.

She looked back at Tyler, she wanted him to answer her, that's all she wanted. She was sure Rose would want the same answer too. She would just have to wait until Rose asked, because then he'd have no choice.

'Things just happen? But, WHY do they happen? WHAT made you possesed to tell him? WHY did you tell him?' Rose said loudly, emphasizing each starting word. 'I was perfectly happy! Now, what if my relationship with Tyler is gone, what if he won't speak to me ever again!? Why didn't you think of how much this would hurt me!?' Rose asked, forgetting Tyler was there.

Then she remembered. Rose really wanted to ask what Tyler thought about her liking him. But, she was too scared.

Nessie stared at Rose. Did she not realize Tyler was in the room. This was not getting any better. She looked at Rose deciding not to answer the first few questions, she didn't think Rose nor Tyler needed to know about her answers to half those questions. She needed to talk to someone who understood this. She looked at Tyler then Rose again. "He wouldn't do that." Said Ness talking more about the part that he wouldn't speak to her again, then the fact that their relationship might not work. "I'm sorry I wasn't thinking at all when I saod it it. I was tactless." she said. Couldn't Rose just stop making her feel so bad.

Ness watched Tyler again. "Well if you guys want to talk, I'll leave" she said. She was sick of staying here just to hear Rose complain and lecture her. It also seemed like Tyler wasn't going to give her an answer. She would have to ask him or figure out later. Really tired and pretty irritated she got up and started heading out again, hoping she wasn't going to be stopped.

Rose calmed herself and sat staring at nothing in particular. She knew she had been a bit hard with Nessie, but Nessie had betrayed her! Told the very last person she wanted knowing her secret!

She watched Nessie go to the door, and thought of going too. But, she needed to talk to Tyler. Hey, if it worked out, Nessie will have done her a favour!

He watched the two, not really knowing what to do. He felt invisible, as though somebody had cast a charm on him making him blend into the wall. "Calm down" was all he could say to them even though it wouldn't help in the slightest.

"I should... Um... Not be here" he said, the way they were talking it was he wasn't there anyway. He didn't want to sit and talk, he didn't want to do anything. He felt like leaving with Nessie and walking in the opposite direction. Too much trouble, yelling, and crying. All he wanted was a calm journey home and THIS had to happen.

His eyes followed Nessie as she headed towards the door for what must have been the 50th time, he wasn't going to stop her this time even if he wanted to. He couldn't bear being in the room alone with Rose, it'd all be too awkward, too awkward for him to handle. "I don't know what to say" he said out loud, the truth. "Not that it really matters" he added.

Rose saw Tyler's face. He probably hated her. Brilliant...

I don't know what to say... This sentence made her laugh. She was just laughing. 'All of this happens,' Rose began still laughing, 'and you say that?' Ah, she loved it when he stated the obvious... The thing to say was. Well, she wouldn't even say it in her mind, it'll never happen...
'It doesn't matter?' Rose asked, not laughing as much now. 'What doesn't matter?'

" Yes. I like all of your friends"William told Penny. "Wait a minute, all of our friends now" William said to Penny. " Witsy os nice and sweet like you" William explained to Penny.

"Are you ok?" William asked Ness. " You do not have to tell me anything" William told Ness.

Simon returned the friendly hug, trying not to get too sentimental about things. It was a shame he had only had two real years to spend with Selina and the first year had been mostly spent with her being so ackward around him at least when they werent playing quidditch. "You're quite welcome," he said with a smile as they both settled back in their seats.

He gave an amused look as he listened to the two girls talk over quidditch and Selina's comment which he had to admit seemed to be coming true. "I think you and I might have created a monster," Simon teased looking between the two younger lions.

"And I'd say they arent too bad. Only wrinkly if mistreated," he added remarking about the books. "Though some of the ones I handled helping Madam Donovan had certainly seen better days."
