Sophia laughed again. "You are so strange little one." she said, looking at Erin's, well, intresting face. In this case, intresting was NOT good. "Oh haha. I am SO nice." she said, sticking her tounge out at her friend. "I think I am the lady and you are the sir. The way you shoved that treacle tart in your mouth makes me seem more ladylike now doesn't it?" she asked, her friend. She patted Erin on the shoulder and said "Being a lady isn't everything."
Erin gulped down the treacle tart. "Ah, but am I only a sir in comparision to you? Because, dear friend, that would mean we are both ladies, contrary to popular belief..." Erin smiled at Sophia, proud of her logic.
He sighed and shrugged. “Would you really like to know his name or shall I make it like a game for you?” he asked her. “He really should have been sorted in Slytherin really, but I guess he wanted to be like his mother.” He ran his fingers through his hair again. “Let me see his mother is alive from what I recall she has another family as well, and he visits them. They are an old.” He suddenly remembering her last name. ‘What was Josh’s last name? Smith? Maybe these two are related his wizard family is huge, maybe they are related.’ He looked at her “Miss Elyon you did say Smith was your last name am I correct?” he asked her.
“Gryffindor’s are brave but at times they can be idiots.” He closed his mouth. “I am not saying you are, but for some reason they feel like they have more to prove so they decide to do stupid things such as going into the forest picking fights with the older students. Be careful Miss Elyon there is bravery but there is foolishness,” he smiled at her “I don’t believe I have to worry about that with you.” He continued his smile. His smile faded and he shrugged. “Some still care about it I would be careful, but there are some that don’t. If it wasn’t for those brave ones marrying outside we all be related and how wrong would that be.” He laughed. “I don’t know about you Miss Elyon, but I rather not be related with everyone. Mutations could occur. And this handsome face would no longer be handsome." He winked at her.
Elyon grinned and shook her head. "There are a lot of names in the world, it'd be a rather hard game! Well it's good he gets to see his mum! Plus it gives you time away from him, because I'm taking it you don't get along too well. Oh, no, I'm a James, not a Smith. They are lots of Smiths, aren't there?"
"It's alright, I understand what you mean." She recalled a few boys acting like complete idiots at the Gryffindor table. "It is rather sick, people marrying their cousins...." She shuddered. "I don't think I'd like being related to everyone in the Wizarding World. It'd be awkward and weird, twisted really. Too many mutations. I would miss your face very much. Then I would have no funny Slytherins to talk to!" She laughed.

Sitting himself next to Matthew he grabbed some chocolate. Completely ignoring the girl he was with.
“Idiot, your servant gave me your robes,” he knew he was pushing it.
“Also she said something quite stupid. That even though we are not related we are both handsome and could be called brothers.” He shook his head.

He looked at her. Miss Elyon was a clever one. He really decided not to think about Josh, but if he had that idea might have crossed his mind. “You know what Miss Elyon you are completely right. When he visits his mother he is gone.” He grinned. “I had not thought about it that way.” He grabbed her hand and kissed it. “Thank you Miss Elyon.” He told her gently putting her hand back down. “My apologies I had forgotten, things have been hectic lately that it is still taking time to process here.” He motioned to his head. “Yes, they are both wizard and muggle names.” He looked at her. “Surnames where used for your work did you know that someone who was a blacksmith would go by the last name of Smith, while a Tailor would use the surname of Taylor?” he decided to chugging the last of his pumpkin juice. “That is how last names were developed.” He gave her a smile. Then he stuck out his toungue in a playful manner. “I sound so serious don’t I?” he asked her.
He was going to tell her something when suddenly he felt something hit him on his head. A loud smack was heard and he looked up to see Josh. Suddenly the atmosphere around him changed. He clenched his fist together and took in a deep breath and smiled at Elyon. “Miss Elyon, might I present to you the pain in my back and neck Josh.” He told her, a chip appeared on his head and he could feel it. He quickly ran his fingers through his hair and decided to hide it. “If you agree with my comment you should tell me instead of smacking me on my head.” He told him and decided to keep his voice calm. “She is no servant, she is a maid.” He shook his head. “She tends to say things like that she is pretty dumb, but she means well don’t you dare hurt her.” He told him and looked at Elyon. “Once more my apologies, he is a bit rough.” He told her and glared at josh. “That girl coat, the yellow one that looked more like a hufflepuff coat it is with my suitcase. Who did you steal it from?” he asked him.
He looked down at his coat. 'I guess that would explain why it was so small.' He then looked up at Elyon. "Miss Elyon are you saying, that I Matt, am funny looking?" he asked her with a wink trying to make sure that he kept his cool with her. 'If Josh does anything I won't restrain myself in punching that face of his in.' He thought
Emmy listened really closely to Brig. It was really exciting for the girl to hear that she was sorted away from the firsties. Emmy would have loved that, she hated it to go to the front of the huge hall with everyone staring at her. She was so nervous when she had to sit on the chair. "Well, I think the hat did the right choice for both of us. We seem to get along pretty well, so you could have never been placed into Gryffindor. You know, Gryffindor and Slytherin hate each other. I've heard lots of stories at home when mom and dad were talking about it. If you had been a Ravenclaw that would have been fine as well. Slytherin and Ravenclaw get along very well. Hufflepuff...no. We don't really speak to them, they are just too nice. You're right here!" Emmy was really proud that she knew so much about the houses even if she was only a first year.
When Brigid told Emmy that she would help her flying, she was amazed. That was so nice of her! Emmy couldn't quite believe it. "Oh I would love that! I really want to be a good flyer, I think it's important especially when you want to go to another place and you're not old for apparating yet." The girl literally beamed at Brigid, "Oh Merlin, this is awesome!"
Brigid smiled and nodded as Emmy said that they must have been sorted correctly because they got along well. Sadly, the girl didn't who Brig really was, which was good, and she knew she belonged in Slytherin but she couldn't see why such a sweet girl was in placed there. 'The hat knows best, I guess.'"Oh yeah, I know. I normally have pretty good balance but when I'm in front of other people I tend to trip and fall and stuff, it gets bad." Then Emmy told her about the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor and she found it very hard to believe. "Are you serious?" She asked, looking around the Great Hall. "But, everyone seems to be friends. Of course some people don't like each other but every table is mixed with a little bit of everyone. That's weird." Maybe that's just how it had been when her parents attended Hogwarts.
She loved how happy her new friend was once she told her that she would teach her how to fly better. "That's definitely true, I mean I've apparated with my dad before, and I didn't enjoy it much, but it's a lot faster than flying everywhere." When Emmy exclaimed how awesome it would be for her to help her, Brig's smile grew. "Plus, I know there's a flying class here so that will definitely help you too. I'm sure the professor knows more than I do." And then outside of the class Brigid could help her.

Katie sat back down at the end of the table, she looked at the food and wondered what she should eat, she was hungry, yet didn't want anything, she saw other slytherins eating but that didn't ant her to.
Katie was feeling dizzy, for the millionth time this year, she didn't like what was happening and she wanted it to stop!
RIGHT NOW.
She stared up at the roof that had been enchanted to look like the night sky, she remembered storys she had been told about what had happened in this room, Bellatrix had once been here, and so had Voldemort, it was interesting really, that dark wizards could have sat were she was now. Her favorite evil person would be Draco Malfoy, she loved to hear storys about him, he was interesting to hear about.
"What the-" Salmandrius Beaugustus Malfoy yelped as sparks shot out at him from a passing student, at the same time that crazy Patterson girl started ranting madly. He resisted the urge to throw a piece of chicken at her and instead contented himself with an exaggerated eyeroll.
"This place has gone to the dogs." he muttered to anybody who might be bothered to listen, "I think I'd much rather be a Grindylow, what with you lot acting like deranged werewolf children."
Yes, and he was sooooo mature.
Benjamin smiled and waved at the second year who thought he jumped down his throat earlier. He saw his spell hit the right target and had to hold the laughter in. He saw the girl and crowd grow even more crowding and the boy noticed when the spell hit him and he got upset at the crowd for being so enthusiastic as they gathered around him. he then went to his seat near Jamie and Tyrone and began eating after he had his talk with Professor Lafay and she had insisted that he come to her office after the feast.
He poured himself a goblet of pumpkin juice and took a big drink. He coughed after he gulped that down and had a disgusted look on his face.
"What the blooody hell was that stuff I just drank? Pig tripe? I'm not drinking that again. Please grab me a glass and the water."
All of a sudden a clear crystal glass filled with water popped up in front of him on the table. He took the glass and took a big gulp.
"Ooh, that just made the taste linger even longer and stronger. Oh my god!"
He quickly grabbed his fork and took a forkfull of foood andchewed it very little before swallowing. That took the taste out of his mouthHe ate so fast that it was hard for him to digest anything, and he excused him to just outside big oak doors and belched very loudly.
He came back to the table saw there was desert on the table. He went over and grabbed a piece of chocolate mousse pie and had half of it gone by the time he reached his seat.
"Now, this is what I'm talking about. MMMM! This is goood stuff."
He took a seat and finished the rest of pie and leaned back..He almost fell off of the bench, but regained his balance, He looked back up at thestaff table looking for Professor Lafay. where did dhe sit, anyways?

Hehe, of course she was being rather dramatic. Really, being a professor has got to be one of the most stressing jobs a human could have in the world. It's no wonder Lafay set them on fire.
Snickering, she took a small sip from her goblet before setting it down once more, nodding and waving her hand towards her She-Snake friend. "That's a good one actually. But why Wonder? That makes him sound too, special." And not the kind of special that she wanted it to be either. On the other hand, Sierra had a point. Fleas, rabies... "A rat?" she asked, shuddering noticeably. Rats were gross. "Well actually, he could be like...a ratty mutt."
Hmm, she remembered that food fight. Three hour long showers later and she still could smell that rotten banana all over her. "Yea." the Slytherin nodded, her gaze flickering over to Marie, grinning ever so slightly. "Such a, magical day." That had got to be the first time her and Stalker Dude met wasn't it? Great. Great day. Could they hear the sarcasm in her voice?
Raising a brow at the violent Slytherin across from her, the dark hazel eyed girl ignored the comment about Finn and turned her attention back to Sierra. "There are a few." Biting the inside of her lip, Evelyn's gaze landed on the table, thinking it over. "Which, you'll find out later."
When Lafay wasn't roaming around.
Of course she was right. Slightly paranoid, but right all the same.
Oh. "We just had a bit of a disagreement is all." she muttered, suddenly interested in her nails. "I mean, really, she was the one that started it. Insulting me like that." Shrugging her shoulders, the girl glanced towards Salander, staring at him for a moment before...
"And I may have blurted out something about her being, I don't know...a hag..." Waving her hand casually as if she said this kind of thing in all her conversations. "But then she pulls her wand out and starts hexing everything in her sight! Trashed her own shop, she did. I managed to dodge most of the spells but..."
The woman was crazy.

Hearing the start of the speech, Evelyn's attention moved up to the Headmaster, placing her elbow on the table and leaning her head against the palm of her hand. These usually lasted awhile didn't they? Heck, she was too hungry to remember. Which was surprising since she never ate all that much at the opening feast.
Sighing quietly at pretty much the Headmaster saying don't die, again, the Slytherin's attention then moved to the...other man...
Wow. Kinda intimidating wasn't he?
Blinking, Evelyn sat up straight, placing her hands neatly on her lap and actually listening attentively to what he was saying. She may have shifted uncomfortably on the seat at the mention of a fight club, though her focus didn't move anywhere else.
Safe choices leading to good rewards? What... was he just copying the Headmaster? Safe choices leading to you being alive. Yea. *snort*
Salander tilted his head, listening to Evelyn recount the incident with the candy lady at the sweets shop. "Whoah wait... so she started it by insulting you?" he uttered incredulously, "Nawww uh-uh, that wont do." he added slowly as he shook his head. Hawt or not, he definitely cannot let that pass. Whatever guilt he may have had hexing the candy lady pretty much evaporated. Nobody insults Salander's friends-- much less one from his own house-- and not get some sort of payback from him.
"Had I known that I probably would've done a bit more than a shut up spell...."Like maybe making her clothes vanish. he mused smirking.
When the speeches where done he stared at the empty center aisle, eagerly waiting for the food to appear, but couldnt help but notice Evelyn being rather skeptical after hearing it. "So you buy that hogwash? The whole looking after future leaders kinda thing? I mean if they were really worried about our safety why werent they at the Triwizard tournament last year?" Where there were all this talk of peope dyiiiiing.

He then turned his attention the adorable young Slytherin girl-- with an even more adorable name. "Hello there Lulu!" Oh so she saw him too-- with his runaway trolley. Of course . "Nah those trolleys are so old they never follow spells properly anymore y'know" he smirked. He would so tell her that they were indeed cursed by him, except that none of those curses would ever be found in any wizarding spell book.
He took a drink from his cup as he listening to Lulu speak with lil Sally-- and choked on his drink. What did she say-- boys have cooties??? He shifted his eyes between the two young Slytherins. To say that they knew each other was moot, apparently there was some kind of rivalry going on there.
He watched slyly from just above the rim of his cup. This is gonna be fun

Tyrone was shocked. Sitting beside him, was the first person that had not laughed at his name. Although, he usually told them the other half of the story too, but somehow, he didn't feel like sharing that little tidbit of information just yet.
He smiled at her and whispered his thanks, trying to hid his shock. "You're the first person that hasn't laughed at that. If you're lucky, I might even tell you the reason why they did later." he came out of his semi-embarassed state and grinned, trying really hard not to laugh at himself.

Dianna, cool name. Wasn't there like a muggle princess or queen that had that name a loong time ago? Eh, he didn't know he wasn't very good at history especially not muggle history. Cool name end of story.
"Nice meeting you Dianna." Alex smiled. "Yeah of course I'm in my third year. You?" she looked about the same age as he was but there were very few third years out there. Like hellooo? Where were they hiding? Internal pout.
Hey, would you look at that a third year guy! she thought to herself. "I'm a third year myself." she said. "Although I know I don't look like one.." she added. Most people would say that she looked like a ten year old, even if it was just a joke she couldn't help but feel quite insecure on her looks now.

Aah, quidditch how he loved to be a part of the team. "Yeah I know, it's like everyone I talk to wants to try out for the team." he had to get the beater positions. He just had to, although most of the people he had talked with wanted to be chasers or seekers so that was good. At least for him. "Of course we'll make it, we have to make it." he winked. Because the Slytherins wanted to win right? Right. Even though he would still cheer on his mates, that's what friends were for.

Cass nodded "Yeah, they used to be together or something, then Ravenclaw ran away with something of her mum's, so when Rowena Ravenclaw was about to die, she sent the Baron to fetch her daughter, Helena, I think, but then she wouldn't come with him, so the Baron got really angry and killed her...when he saw what he did, he killed himself too." Then she glanced down on her food and sighed. It was a really morbid tale...
The Baron nodded to the children who had addressed him and glared at those who ignored him. RUDE! He needed to talk to the Head of House about this... rudeness.
Evan politely smiled back at the ghost. He had to speak to him sometime... he'd never spoken to a ghost before, and he wondered how it was to be one. If they were willing to answer such questions, of course.

The girl giggled and hoped the prefect would think better of her now.
Giving her an understanding smile, Evan said "Don't worry, it's alright." Aww, she seemed really embarrassed about it. He gave her a friendly pat on her shoulder. Chuckling, he shook his head. "Nooo, that's cruel." But she had made him think too and well, he liked he idea. He would certainly do that now, for a treat from the kitchen for example. Heheh. Power of that badge was amazing.
Chuckling again, he said "Calm down, no one's getting a hard time!" She was so worried about that, while there was no need for her to. Unless she did something really extreme, it was fine.
Smiling again, he said "Welcome. 'Tis my job." He winked. He'd still explain her even if it wasn't his job, really. Because he wanted the firsties to feel at ease. As much as possible, of course.

Lotte was walking around, taking the opportunity to fully immerse herself in the magic realm of Hogwarts. Suddenly, she found herself at the Slytherin table. Her eyes widened. Wow... This felt... strange. Was she even allowed to be here?
Lotte quickly shook these thoughts out of her head. She mustn't think that way! They were simply normal students, all excited over the start of the new term. In fact, they weren't much different from the rest of the lot. They just want to make the most out of every experience in school. Although... you certainly didn't want to have a Slytherin for an enemy... That just can't possibly end well. She shivered.
She glanced around, hoping to find a few friends to chat with.
"Hey girlie!" Taylor said with a big smile as she spotted Lotte, who was nervously walking by the Slytherin table- why was she nervous?! Maybe it was just the whole Slytherin thing, everyone seemed to think they were evil or something.
She gestured for Lotte to come over and grinned. "How are you doing Lotte?" she asked her, moving over on the bench so Lotte could perch next to her.
