"Don't be jealous, it wasn't that fun when your watching, I think it would have been better if you were in it" Katie admitted giggling as she patted her on the head, "I'll make sure I don't then" Katie giggled, Katie loved mornings so it wasn't a problem for her.

Katie smiled at the girl, "Nice to meet you, can I call you Georgia please? for short?Katie said hehe, new nickname for the giirl "I'm good thanks, yoou?" Katie asked back, she wondered if this girl was knew, she did look alone so maybe, "Is this your first year at Hogwarts?" Katie asked.

"Merlin Marie, lighten up will ya?" she asked, raising a brow at her friend, imitating her look, and then giving her a look of her own. Eh, so what if Evelyn slightly pointed out the obvious, and sorta thought that Marie was actually talking about Lafay and not Truebridge. Bite her head off next time.

"Besides, it seems we're going to need all the happiness we can get to survive this night." Did no one see how already some of the professors were in bad moods? Like...like Vinny. Hehe, someone was sitting in his seat. Speaking of happiness, or funniness in other words, she couldn't help but laugh at what Sierra said. "I doubt anyone would want to walk that dog anyway."

Well no, there were a few. Heck, if someone was willing to get engaged to him, then there certainly were others who would have no problem having him as company. "We really need to start calling him something else though. I hear he's got himself another girlfriend. Already. Aren't dogs supposed to be like...loyal and such?"

It most certainly was his mistake. That was not her cup.

Hehe, well Marie definitely thought of a good way to say, or show, who's cup it was. This kid, she knew, was already going to be a thorn in her side. Best stay away from him and have someone else have to deal with him. Like…Lafay.

"I've got a better idea." The Slytherin girl murmured calmly, trying to keep her cool as she leaned forward towards the opposite end of the table so she didn’t need to raise her voice over everyone else to get this piece of information into this kid's brain. "How about I tell you how to keep your mouth shut." And she was going to have to if she predicted right on what was going to happen. Marie was angry. Her words spoke more than what the kid probably realized.

That didn’t mean Evelyn wasn't amused at what her Slytherin friend was saying. "Adequate or not…" she started, first looking at Marie, and then to the kid who really needed a good curse to shut his mouth. "…you will respect the Professor. You're going to have a tough time here if you keep up that attitude." And by tough, she meant he was going to have a tough time from them.

Merlin, could he not bury his attitude slightly? Heck, even she wasn’t that blunt about things. Except maybe now, but even then, she was keeping it on the down low.

Yea, okay, that wasn't exactly the answer she was expecting but well...it wasn't worse either.

"No." she said plainly, shaking her head and frowning before gesturing to the box. "But really, you just took the box? Not even knowing if it was a trap? Or explode? Or make your fingers be permanently stuck to it?"

No caution whatsoever!

She turned around to see a boy talking to her, "Hi! yes, everything is alright, just amazed with this school you know, pretty awesome, I didn't imagined it like this! even tho my siblings had been here before, they have talked to me about Hogwarts and I was hoping to come here someday ." she then realized the boy was still standing next to her and moved a little bit so he could sit down "Oh by the way, I'm Georgiana Smith what's your name?"

Wow to be a first year she surely was up for talking, her mouth ran on a motor , Adam guessed.

"Wow.That was a whole lot more than I was expecting."Adam breathed.
He saw Georgiana had moved over for him to take a sit. She talked quite a lot in one breath, would Adam get quickly tired of her?
"I'm Adam Burn. 3rd year Gryffindor."He introduced himself.

"Of course! is better like that the name Georgiana is so long, better have a nickname hehehe" she said smiling. "Really good thanks , Oh yes this is my first year at Hogwarts, that's why I'm a little bit lonely here, in what year are you now?" Georgiana asked.

"I know hehe" she looked down " I talk too much when I'm nervous but I won't let it happen again." she said. "Nice to meet you Adam, how are you?". said Georgiana

At Emmy's next comment Brigid couldn't help but laugh a little, like a giggle. "No, no, don't worry! It's cute, I completely understand what you're going through, I was there once...I think." Well, obviously she had once been in her first year, a new student, not knowing anyone, but she had been there many times since her first wizarding year so she just couldn't remember the excitement. [b]"That is very true, I mean a muggle would call something like that 'magical',[b] then again, muggles don't know what real magic is.' Seeing as Brig didn't know much about these houses were sorted she thought she would ask. Yes, she did hear what the hat had to say but that didn't mean much. "So, how exactly does that hat sort everyone out? Surely everyone has a little bit of every house in them, right?" That would only make sense.

Quidditch? Did she seem like the quidditch type? She had always gone to the games and cheered on the right people but to play the game? Nooo, that wasn't her thing, what if she somehow managed to break a nail? She didn't enjoy flying on brooms though. "No, no. Quidditch is not my thing, flying brooms is, but definitely not playing quidditch. I don't do much, I'm sure I could pass as a muggle, I just like to lounge around, watch TV, drink tea, that sort of thing." 'Hang out with friends once I've settled somewhere for once.'

He opened his mouth to reply then snapped it shut. And he did it again a few times. He turned to look at the cookie box then shrugged "Its a purty box. Its not like it was gonna bite right?"

Apparently he retained very little of whatever was taught at DADA last term.

He shifted his eyes at the young Slytherin boy whose head Marie nearly bit off. Smirking, he and took a sip from his own glass Wrong girl to tick off kiddo he mused as he shifted his eyes up and down the Slytherin table, which is barely recognizable now given that motley of other robe colors. The Hogwarts Frat House.... thats what this place has turned into... and quite frankly, he felt a sense of pride in that.

Simon was a tad bored and with the food not here yet it made it worse for the boy. He then heard a familiar voice, the one that belonged to the girl who scared him on the train. Seriously, he's never dealt with someone who's fainted, before. He scooted himself to where she was and said, "Hey Katelyn." he smiled, she seemed to be doing better. "Watcha doing?" can you tell he was bored?

"Only a couple of evil people?" laughed Helena. "Don't scare me."

Helena looked up at the new girl, hugging Maisie. She held out a hand to her, "Hello, I'm Helena," she said smiling.

Katie smiled as she saw his rescuer, she was grateful for that rescue, she needed to repay him one day, "Hey Bad!Boy" Katie giggled remembering the nickname she gave him on twitter, "Nothing much, yoou?"

Ohhh, he liked that nickname... a LOT. "Hey there..." had he given her a nickname...hm, not that he can think of. "We need a nickname for you." he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Georgiana approached to this girl to say "Hi", she looked like a first year too. "Hello I'm Georgiana, what's your name?"

"Hi, my name is Helena. Nice to meet you," said Helena to the new girl. "Are you a first year?" she asked hopefully. She could finally have a first year friend.

Katie giggled as he said she needed a nick name, "Like what?" Katie smiled, she hoped it was something cute ^^;;

"Hi, Helena" she said "Yes I'm a first year, you too right?" said Georgiana while taking a piece of pudding. "So tell me how are you?" said smiling.

"Yes, I am too!" said Helena cheerfully. "Oh, I'm very excited! I'm looking forward to a few classes, aren't you? And that's a very good pudding," she added laughing.

"Great! she is a first year too" she thought "That's good!" she said " Me too, I hope I can do well in every class , oh I know it's the second one I take hehe" said Georgiana.

Ahh. That was that little slytherins name. Lulu. That was odd, but then Finaly was rather an odd name too, so he couldn't speak much. But the girl seemed to be gagging. That was amusing. Lulu did amuse him, maybe he should talk to her more another time. Oh. Finn was very glad that Ara didn't think boys were icky, because well it would have been very disappointed. "Well...of course I'm the best." Finn smirked at her, before laughing. She was feeding his ego. It was rather nice, it hadn't had a feed in ages.

"Maybe when she's older." They were speaking as if she girl wasn't sitting next to them. It was a bit of an odd thing, but he was certain that she might like boys eventually. Or at least he hoped it for the boys of her year.

Ahh. Now Marie was apologising for running off on the train. Really Finlay had not cared at all her, he'd only gone off and found some others girls to talk to. "Oh no worries Marie." He smiled at her, because well he had gone to make sure that Mia was okay too, and they seemed to be friends, so it was all good. Mmm. Maybe on the next train journey they'd have more time to talk to each other.
Aha. She'd figured out that he knew Evelyn. Finn grinned. "I met her on the train." He explained with a nod. That had been an interesting little chat.

Hehe, was it wrong that she thought he looked somewhat funny trying to speak, but couldn't?

"Well see, Salander..." she started, turning on the bench seat to talk to him properly. "That's your first problem. Take...poisons for example. If you were going to poison someone, say...you put it into their food, you'd want to make that food look as appetizing as possible so they eat it right?"

Obviously.

"Now, with this box..." Pointing to the box, she stared at it for a moment, shaking her head. "If this box, had some sort of time bomb, or it was touch sensitive, or...a portkey that sends you to some unknown island that has anti-apparation wards and no way of defending yourself from massive hordes of people looking for some sort of revenge on that unlucky person who just happened to have been transported there... Whoever made this box, will want it to look as pretty as possible so that poor unsuspecting person would pick it up."

Did he get what she meant? "You need to be more cautious Salander. Or else your going to find yourself in some...very big trouble. Kinda like with that candy lady in Diagon Alley. But, much much worse."

Oh, right right right. "Yea." she nodded in agreement to his...story. "You guys were off somewhere, leaving me in the cold, empty, compartment alone and...well, Finn saved the day."

Laughing quietly, she slowly quieted before looking elsewhere. Right. Well, Finn was a nice guy, but really that was one awkward conversation. A nice one, but...yeaaa.

Jamie had leaned forward and placed her right elbow on the table and rested her chin in her hand and listened to him talk about it. She thought about what he said and it sounded so wonderful. "That is really poetic and sounds like a really amazing thing to see in the sky." One's future. She wondered what hers might look like.

"Thanks Fee but I think I'm gonna save some space for the feast." Elliot said. He didn't wanna miss the feast, he heard that Hogwarts elves were the best and the meal was fantastic. "Yeah. I forgot to ask you that." he chuckled. He hoped that the Headmaster speech will be over soon. "Do you know how many students were sorted into our house this year?" he asked.

"Met a cat?" Elliot thought a moment he never met a cat directly, he just saw them from the shop windows. "Not really" he said. Hmm..He never knew that cats were like that, he wasn't a really big fan of animals. "Good luck to train your ferret then Lulu." he said watching her ferret banging a spoon against the table. Her ferret definitely couldn't stand still.

Zoey gave Iris a grin. "Nuuuuthin." she assured her.

Pffft, however, Mr. Boyfriend locked himself in the bathroom and that was something to giggle at. And do you want to take a guess at who started giggling? ... Mhmm, yup. Zoey did!

She stuffed her sleeve back in her mouth long enough to calm down at least a little bit. Heh. He got stuck in the bathroom.

Tyrone blushed again. He wasn't used to the complimets. They were a rarity in his home. Sure, they all loved each other, but compliments were never in their 'Loving Family' picture. Realising he had gone off in his own little world, he shifted in his seat. He moved so he was leaning right over his plate, looking at it and nothing else. "Sorry, got carried away" he whispered meekly, moving to take a drink.

"What do you see when you look at the stars?" he asked in his normal tone, as though the few seconds before had not happened. Jamie fascinated him to no end and it was only their first meeting.

Hmmm, should he reveal his true self to Lucie? Ahh, why not? He really needed to stop trying to act so 'cool'. "Oh, yes. I hate to sound like a nerd, but I love studying." Although not every subject agreed with him. Too bad he had high ambition to do well in his OWL's, though. "Yah, well... it's only the start of the year, I have plenty of time to worry about them." He smiled, but SHEESH, she was trying to make him feel worried, wasn't she?

Ohhh, HAI unenthusiasm. "Mmmmkay." Now he had to prove himself to her. Greeeeeeeat - and Nathan was pretty sure that he spotted her rolling her eyes at him. In response to that, a bit of a shocked expression surfaced. Ah, moving on.. "Awesome. Why did you leave?" All he knew was that a lot of pretty girls went to Beauxbatons. Hmm, why didn't he go there instead of here? "I went to Durmstrang." Now it was his turn to eye roll. "I left 'cos the teachers couldn't handle me." He leaned back in his chair, trying to look cool. Truth was, the teachers were really strict and you couldn't get away with ANYTHING there.

Lilly-anne made her way to the slytherin table in hopes of finding someoone around her age that she could talk to some of the slytherins intimidated her a bit but she found most of them were really nice.
