Pulling himself up and out of the hatch , Hyun stood in the common room. Shivering because the water had been warm and when you got out of warm water, you were cold. He rubbed his arms in order to get a bit warmer. "That was cool , professor!" he said with a smirk. How many times can you say you swimmed in the lake, fought grindylow's and had a hatch under your common room!? O_o

Hyun was still clutching one of the students wands and looked around in the common room when his eyes fell upon the small girl who he had helped earlier. He walked swiftly through the common room and held out her wand in front of her. "I think your missing something" he said with a grin and waved her wand in front of her. "After the grindylow got away you lost your wand and ...uhm...i kinda swam after it and grabbed it..." Yeah that was pretty much it.

Sierra emerged from the hatch, soaking wet and happy to be away from the grindylow. Well, that had been pretty cool, even if she had managed to get a creature attached to the end of her leg during the last five minutes of the journey. Thank Merlin that other girl had come along so quickly--whatever her name was. Sierra glanced around the room for the girl, and upon not seeing her, just assumed she was still coming up from the hatch.

So was the meeting over now, or were they meant to hang around for a while?

Alina had exited the hatch a few seconds ago and, now, she was standing near as water dripped off of her and she was trying not too shiver too much. Goshdarnit, it was cold, though! BRRRR. She wrapped her arms around her in hopes that would help but, alas!, it didn't. In desperate need to get some warmth to her body, she started heading towards the common room fire until she saw the girl that she had saved from that grindylow attack. She took one look at the fire, one look at the girl, one look back at the fire...

Warmth, that's what she needed.

She motioned the girl to follow her to the couch as she continued making her way there herself.

Jamie smiled, "Thanks. I thought it would've been taken to the depths."

Having seen fishes, rode on one, fought with a grindylow, fought with the idea of keeping the creature as a pet and pulled himself out of the water, Alex was now standing with a grin on his face watching the other students pull themselves up.

Now that was an experience. Who knew Lafay was such a cool buddy, eh? Although, the gillyweed had tasted weird, he had to admit. He was ruffled his hair to get some of the water off and stood dripping a little pool of water around him.

"That was awesome, Professor." he said politely, best to thank the woman right?

So... Was the meeting over or what? He stood roling his thumbs and waited for something to happen. He was bored. Snore. Food? Sleep? Hot shower?

Cass rose out of the water, dripping wet, but totally happy. That was soo cool! She turned towards the Professor and said "Thank you Professor Lafay,." Who knew the woman could be fun?

Then she looked around. Was the meeting over, or what?

Movement from the hatch caught her eye, and Sierra turned to see that the girl she'd met down in the water, the one who'd kicked the grindylow off her leg, was making her way back into the common room. Sierra spared a small smile for the girl but otherwise said nothing else. For one, she didn't know if the meeting was over and done with yet. Was there something else Lafay needed to say?

The girl, whoever she was, was motioning for Sierra to follow her to the couches, though; and although a part of Sierra wanted to be annoyed that the girl seemed to want to boss her around, she made her way to the couches anyway. After all, it was the least she could do after the girl saved her from possibly dying.

Before she walked away, she glanced up at her Head of House. "Thanks, Professor. That was fun," she said. She turned and moved to join the still-unknown girl on the couch.
