Slytherin House Meeting
 

Hecate stood in what could only be described as a silver and green wet suit. Beside her was a large jar of slimey green stuff. She had her arms folded before her and waited for her Slytherin students to come over. She had her wand in her hand and she pointed it at her throat, silently casting the sonorus charm on it.

Attention All Slytherin Students

Please come to the common room for a meeting with the Head of House.

Then she flicked her wand and conjured a note that said the same thing for the notice board.

Selena had been elsewhere somewhere when she had head of the announcement. Immediately she wondered what was wrong and she had a feeling it wasn't because the Head of House just wanted to sit down for a chat with them all, preparing tea and cookies or something. Selena walked over silently.

"Hello Professor Lafay," she said politely. She didn't want to lose points or something for rudeness after all. She stood awkwardly wondering why their professor was wearing a wet suit. Eh... and what was with the slimy stuff? She glanced at it briefly, hoping the professor would explain soon why they were all here.

Walking down a corridor when she heard the announcement, Evangeline abruptly changed direction, and went back towards the Slytherin common room. Inside, she saw Professor Lafay, and a few other students that were coming in. "Professor." She said, eyeing what she was dressed in, and the jar of slimey green stuff, curious as to What this was all about. Whatever it was, it wasn't likely to be anything very good.

A meeting with the Head of House?!

They were in trouble--the entire lot of them--weren't they?! Whatever it was, or had been, Sierra was claiming innocence. Complete and total innocence. That is, of course, unless something really extraordinary and awesome happened. Then in that case, she had been a part of it a hundred percent.

As she headed from the girls' dorms and into the common room, Sierra glanced around for Professor Lafay. When she saw her, she almost had to fight hard to not narrow her eyes in confusion. A wetsuit was just honestly one of the last things she ever pictured Lafay wearing.

...and just what was in that large jar beside her? Sierra couldn't tell from where she was standing, so she took a few steps forward and fell into place next to an older girl she'd never met before. Following the girl's lead, Sierra gave the Head of House her own greeting, as well. "Hello, Professor Lafay," she said.

Eh?

...

Juuuust about to leave the common room, and make a run for it to find a good hiding spot where Destiny would neveeer find her, the Slytherin girl was rather surprised to see Lafay there. Even more surprised by the message though. Meeting? With them? That didn't sound good. Mostly because all the Slytherin meetings meant something was wrong. Of course.

Backtracking her steps, Evelyn moved back into the common room before leaning against the back of a couch, facing their Head of House, and still holding Destiny's annoying horn instrument. It was getting destroyed after this. "Good evening Professor Lafay." she smiled, eyes flickering to the...unique outfit...she was wearing and the...slime.

Oh my gosh. A house meeting?! A HOUSE MEETING?! Sadie was freaking out as she quickly, but quietly made her way to where they were suppose to meet. She had never gone to a house meeting before. Was this a good or a bad thing? Something inside her kept saying it was a bad thing.

She walked into the room and immediately took note of the head of her house wearing a....wet suit? Ick. That was one of the worst outfits she had ever seen on someone. "Hi Professor," she said to her, putting on a fake smile. Inside she was seriously cringing. She walked over to the side of the room and stood there with arms crossed. Let's go fellow younger kids...

Caroline had just entered the common room when she heard Professor Lafay announce a house meeting. She wondered what was going on as she had just walked into this. She made her way over the head of house. What was that green slimly stuff? Whatever it was she had no part in it. That's what this meeting was about, Right?

"Hello, Professor" She smiled politely. She didn't want to make what could be a bad situation, worse. She was sure this was bad, very bad. It wasn't offend that they had house meeting. She saw Selina standing waiting to find out what was going on. "Hey, Sel. Do you know what's going on?" as she walked over to her, just so that Selina could hear her.

Selena glanced over to the older girl next to her. "Hey Caroline," she said back quietly. She didn't want her head chewed off after all. She valued her head. Mhmm... yes she did. She shook her head slightly. "It has to be important though," she replied. Oh, Selena was so good at pointing out the obvious.

Hearing Professor Lafay and her LOUD voice Marie looked out from the study table area only to hear there was a meeting with their head of house in the common room. Giving Salander a you're lucky look she made her way out to see what this meeting was all about. She would get back to Salander later but now she figured she best get out to the common room. Knowing Lafay this meeting wasn't going to be a good one. That woman never came into the common room with any good news for them.

Spotting Evelyn leaning on a couch she went over to stand by her. "Hello Professor," she said as she walked by the woman... who looked like she was ready to go deep sea diving.

Standing there with Ev she then noticed that jar of slimy whatever it was. Oh, this wasn't going to be good. Not good at all. "What do you think she's gonna do with that?" She whispered as she leaned over close to Evelyn.

Hmmm...Frowning, the Slytherin tilted her head to the side, alllll her concentration mostly on that jar of slimey stuff. What was it, and why was it in their common room? Sure, green was one of their house colors, but there was no way that jar could fit in here as decoration and not look out of place.

EEP! Taking a swift glance to Marie who could have poked her or something first before scaring her to death, Evelyn continued to frown before shrugging her shoulders. "Honestly, I don't want to know." Or she did, and with a ten second head start so she could jump under something before that slime hit all of their heads.

House meeting. Groan.. Who really attended these? Apparently on this day Rae did, because she was here now. Rae looked around for people she knew, Oh, plenty. However, Sierra Greingoth looked alone and Rae brought her shoulders up a little higher and made her way over to the firstie, she needed to me a role model right? HA!

" 'Sup?" She said to Sierra as she looked over at the Head Snake Lady... Different yet, not shocking at the same time. "Looks fun professor." Though there was only a bit of sarcasm there.

Benjamin happened to be sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace when Professor Lafay came in and stood in the way of the door when she let her voice open up and practically yelled in the common room to be heard across the whole dungeon area. He quickly covered his ears and muttered "Bloody hell that's loud." then he remembered something. "Professor! I need to have a conference with you in your office after we're all done here, please?!?!" He thought she heard him because she turned her head toards him toyell down the into the dorms.

She was just about to TACKLE Evelyn to the ground when she heard the loud, booming voice of Lafay. At first she thought the reason for the loud voice was because she was honking her awesome horn quite loudly, but nope. Destiny Shepard was not in trouble. It was just the whole Slytherin house.

Why else would Lafay call a meeting?

Stomping her way over, she took in what the woman was wearing before moving her gaze towards the slimy stuff in a jar. Ugh..Destiny was having thoughts that she probably shouldn't have been having. "Hello, Professor!" she said, even managing a smile before making her way over to Evelyn, Marie and her horn.

HER horn. The same horn that she was slowly inching her hands towards.

Inch, inch, inch.

Freya was walking towards the girls dorm when she heard a very loud voice of her head house. A house meeting??!!What's going on? Last year there wasn't any house meeting like this. Wonder what happened that made Lafay had to start the house meeting. She made her way back to the common room where Professor Lafay was. "Hello, Professor." she said.

Salander walks into the Slytherin common room still feeling a little out of sorts. He badly needed a pick-me up, for some reason he felt he lost his fun mojo since the term started.

And the booming voice from beyond pierces through his thoughts, telling him.... to show up at the Slytherin Common Room.

Which he was, front and center.

He lifts his gaze to face his Head of House--

-- HELLO skin tight wet suit!!!

*stares*

... what did just happen?

Helena was walking around the dungeons when she heard... professor Lafay's voice? A house meeting? Why? Were they in trouble? Okay, too many questions. She walked into the Slytherin common room and noticed there were a few Slytherins already. "Hello, professor."

Taylor noticed Freya nearby in the Common Room and waved at her- she wondered what was going on! A house meeting? She was sure they hadn't had one of those before! Sounded interesting anyway- she wanted to know more.

She made her way over to where Freya was stood and smiled widely at her- "Hey Freya" she said quietly, before addressing the Professor- "Hello, Professor" she said courteously before smiling at Freya again, raising an eyebrow as if to say What is going on?!

For some reason Sakura was not looking forward to this meeting with their head of house. Maybe because it was mandatory and Sakura hated anything that was, or maybe it was something else. Either way when she heard the call she trudged over with the rest of the obedient snakes to see what was going to happen, if anything really. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad, although seeing the green goop she wasn't so sure it wouldn't be worse than she was expecting.

House meeting? what for?

After having heard the announcement, Hyun had reluctantly stepped in to the common room. He had wanted to be outside , eventhough the common room was much warmer than the outside world. But hey, he was a former Durmstrang student , he loved the cold!

He walked further in to the room until he found an empty seat and sat on it, crossing his legs over each other and waited.

A house meeting? Should this be something to worry about? Unwillingly, Ella wandered over to professor Lafay as she made the announcement. She had never actually attended a house meeting before and had no idea what to expect. "Hello, Professor." She said kindly, then noticed Sadie was there too. So, she walked over to her and waited patiently beside her.

Standing by anyone was better than standing by yourself. "Hey." She said quietly to Sadie. Yes, quietly. She didn't want to get into trouble of any kind...

"Hello Miss Zabini-Riddle." She said to the girl.

"Hello Miss McCarthy," She replied.

"Miss Benford." She said with a nod.

"Miss Greingoth," she said not looking at her.

"Pay attention Miss Shepard..." She, of all people, should pay attention.

"Hello Miss Perdieu-Chevalier" she said.

"Good day, Miss Scott." she told her.

"Miss Salazar." She said in greeting.

"Come stand to my right Miss Skye" She said to her.

"When we are done Master Trevors, not now. Come stand beside Miss Skye." She said to him.

"Hello Miss Shepard." She said to Destiny... did the girl smell of... chocolate?

...Nehhhh.

"Miss Salvatore, Hello." She said.

"Salander. To my left." She said coldly.

"Hello Miss Hopkins," She replied.

"Mhmm, Hello Miss Wattsfay" she said looking at the students coming in.

"Hello, Prefect Cartwright." She said to him with a respectful nod.

"Master Kim, to my left, beside Master Salander." She said to him.

"Hello Miss Grayson," she said and then started.

"You've been called here because I'm concerned about your manners. As a whole. To my right, two students who addressed me for didn't greet me, to my left two students who didn't acknowledge me at all." She looked at Salander. "Except maybe some rude staring..."

She turned to the rest of the Slytherins and asked. "Why are manners so important to a Slytherin?" She asked.

Okay, so it was a good thing Lafay didn't make her sit next to her, right? But... she wanted to talk about manners? Well, Helena didn't remember a time she didn't greet a professor or just stared rudely or something like that. And why were manners important to a Slytherin? Helena had no idea what was going on. Trying not to look too confused, she just looked around at the others, not saying a word.

Eh? why was he being called to stand to her left? was he getting a prize or something? Hyun nodded his head and stood up from his seat , confusion clouding his features as he stood beside a boy who the professor had called Salander.

His features changed from confused to nervous as he looked down at the ground. His shoes were suddenly very interesting. He could feel the other students looking at him and the other 3 students that were called to her side. He liked the centre of attention, but not like this! "I apologise for my ..behaviour, Professor" he said, voice just over a whisper. If it had been another professor he would have said it out loud but for a strange reason, his head of house made him feel small.
