Selina walked onto the train and looked down at her shoes. Something was wrong. They weren't black and she wasn't ready for school. The red robes were gone and she was in normal clothes- she was going home. How did this year end? She wasn't sure, but she was a second year now.
Selina walked onto the train and looked down at her shoes. Something was wrong. They weren't black and she wasn't ready for school. The red robes were gone and she was in normal clothes- she was going home. How did this year end? She wasn't sure, but she was a second year now.
Elyon felt so strange to not have the feel of her robes billowing behind her. Her mismatched purple and green shoes (unmatching due to thefty nargles) were so different than her black dress shoes, it was like a part of her missing. She nearly tripped on her long, flowy, patterened skirt when she made her eay to the front of the train. Her eyes lit up when she saw Sely by herself in a compartment, so she smiled and waved as she knocked on the door.
True, Selina had hurt her feelings a bit at the Great Hall, but she wanted to cherish her last moments with her best friend in the whole wide world! Unless they were ever able to visit each other over the summer (which was very unlikely, nearly impossible really), it was quite likely they may never see each other again. But Elyon still was clinging on to that last strand of hope for returning to the school again.
She kept waiting for Sely's approval to enter with all the patience she could muster, as she really wanted to see her best friend.

Feeling like she was going to drop dead at any moment because she was so tired, Marie made her way back to the front of the train. She still hadn't talked to Mia yet but right now all she wanted to do was find Finn and snuggle with him.
Not finding him anywhere though she just found an empty compartment and went in closing the door behind her. Hopefully he would find her once he got on the train... or got done in the prefects compartment... or whatever it was he may be doing. For now maybe she would just close her eyes for a few minutes. Hopefully Destiny and Evelyn were tucked away somewhere on the back of the train so she wouldn't have to worry about them bothering her right now. Although with that black eye Destiny was sporting she had a feeling that girl wouldn't be messing with her for a while... unless she wanted her other eye to match.

He had noticed before how her hair wasn't pink anymore, and he was glad that it wasn't. He much prefered her being blonde. "I see you got the pink out..." But she did look really tired. Had she got no sleep?

Selina looked up and saw Elyie sitting there outside the compartment door. Pulling herself out of her book she unlocked the door and let her friend in. She knew that her behavior was not the best in the Great Hall during the last feast, but in all honesty Selina did not want anyone to talk to her then. Her and Adam had had their last falling out. Their friendship was done and Selina knew that. When Elyie had approached her she didn't want any company.
Turning to her friend she said, "Look I'm sorry about what had happened in the Great Hall. I appreciate you wanting to help me but I don't want anyone to be involved in what happened back there. It's behind me now. I am sorry about blowing you off though. You're a good friend."
Jacob walked into an empty compartment. All he had in his hands were his bag of clothes to change into as they made their way back and his broom... which he wasn't going to be riding for too much longer. Marcus had promised him a new broom and betters bat now that he'd won the Quidditch cup... even if the man didn't understand the game, he seemed to still be pleased that Jacob was still weilding brutal weapons.
Jacob sat down and stared out the window... Now was the begining of the homestretch. Jacob was going to be a sixth year, which meant he had only 2 more years, and then he was done with the never ending abbyss that they call Hogwarts... he'd be able the Play Quidditch all the time. What better of a Job could there be for him... And Vindictus was willing to help him get there.

Only seeing her boyfriend on holidays. That was something she wasn't looking forward to. Which is why she wanted to spend all the time she could with him now. "Knowing we will have the rest of the summer is what will keep me going. Plus I'm sure it will be an adventure staying with Mia for a week." Boy was that an under statement if she ever heard one. Marie living in a muggle commune, sleeping in a muggle tent, doing everything the muggle way, for a whole week. Not exactly her idea of a dream get-a-way, but for Mia she would make it work.
So he did like everything with chocolate in it. Hmm, she would have to remember to wear that chocolate flavored lip gloss she had more often. That was way more healthy for him than actually eating a chunk of chocolate. "Don't worry babe, I'll make sure you eat plenty of healthy stuff too." And then let him have a little chocolate for dessert.

Marie living in a muggle commune, sleeping in a muggle tent, doing everything the muggle way, for a whole week. Not exactly her idea of a dream get-a-way, but for Mia she would make it work.
So he did like everything with chocolate in it. Hmm, she would have to remember to wear that chocolate flavored lip gloss she had more often. That was way more healthy for him than actually eating a chunk of chocolate. "Don't worry babe, I'll make sure you eat plenty of healthy stuff too." And then let him have a little chocolate for dessert.
"You're really going vain now Miss Salazar." Finlay laughed, lifting his feet up, and resting them on the seat opposite. Mmm. Maybe he was having a bad effect on Marie, influencing her to be much more vain than she had been before. But she was cute, so he saw no problems in it what so ever. "Of course theres not." Because they were totally epic. People would probably disagree with him, but he didn't really care. It was his opinion that mattered most to him.
oh...she would definetly have fun at Mia's. He'd only been there once (Which was totally bad seeing as they were best friends, he should totally go over there again soon) but knew what the commune was like. Marie was definetly going to have fun there. "I'm sure Mia will keep you busy." And her parents. Marie might come back never wanting to work again, which Finlay probably wouldn't object too. His mother didn't work so... "And you'll have lots of stories to tell me when you get back." Which he really would enjoy hearing about. It would be awesome.
"I know you will." To be honest it was probably quite a good thing, because he really did want to stay fit. Especially considering that he had his trial for the the Montrose Magpies during the summer, had to be on top form for that.

Emily dragged her trunk along with her as she found an empty compartment. It was a lot heavier than she remembered it. "This compartment will do." she turned and smiled to her best friend Nika as she put her trunk in the holders above them, then sat down. "This is it!" she said trying to sound excited "We're going home! Will your parents be at the platform? I'd love to see them!" And vice versa if she wanted to see hers.

His backpack went to the shelf. There was no Thaddeus or Gilderoy with him, he'd left them with the rest of his luggage, they'll be okay there. The Hufflepuff glanced towards the trunk on the floor and was about to ask if she needed help with it, but his eyes got lost in the window, good thing he was sitting as far away from the window as possible or he would've lost sight of Vashti.
Hearing the sound of the compartment door opening, Vashti brought her arm that was against the window/wall up to wipe at her eyes quickly. She didn't think she had been crying, but that sort of thing was unnoticeable when you were staring out at the scenery, so she was just making sure. Fortunately, she didn't feel any wetness on her cheeks, so it was all good.
Just as she turned away from the window, the person spoke, and she saw that it was Treyen. This situation was oddly reminiscent of the train ride to Hogwarts, except he'd had a knarl with him last time. And so far there weren't any Quibblers. And hopefully it would stay that way.
"No, I don't mind," she answered, though it seemed like he didn't care whether she minded or not, seeing as he'd already sat down. "Did you have a good year?" she asked, the only thing she could think of to keep the conversation going. Though she wasn't sure if he would hear her - he looked pretty focused on the window.

Her arms were holding Copito, and Annie could feel the trembling coming from her stomach and transferring to him. She was not so happy. This would be her last ride on the train, and yet, the last time she'd get to see so many people because time and distance would separate them, most of them, at least.
After a couple of compartments that she found full, Annie finally reached somewhere she could sit down, next to her cat and her bag covering her lap. There wasn't much to say, but she just wanted to talk to someone before the ride would end.
Ellie was relatively HAPPY. Happier than the other train rides home. Why? Well, because no one she knew was leaving. Therefore, she had nothing to be sad about. She could just be herself.
And excited. That too. Because she was going HOME. To her daddy and mommy and Aidan. And she had PLANS. So, she shouldn't be bored like last summer.
The front of the train seemed perfect for today. She didn't have to walk her lazy self too far. But she wasn't exactly the first person on the train, so it had gotten crowded.
This was the first compartment she saw that was relatively empty. And rather than walk more, find the others PACKED, and turn around, she just walked in. "Mind if I sit here?"
She'd probably stay whether the girl wanted her to or not.

He was listening...but it seemed that the sound of words was too far away for him to truly reach his ears. Except they did. The thing is, it just occurred to him that Jake was leaving for real, and the window only reminded him that he'll be anywhere in the world for the rest of his life. That day will come for Treyen as well, he just never thought about it until now.
Great timing.
His eyes were on Vashti again and he smiled, "I like to think it was." Though, it had been quite disastrous at the beginning, it ended up being a very good term. There were more gains than losses, and that was always great.
Speaking of losses. "I didn't really notice you at the party and I haven't see you after the game...," the Quidditch celebration party, of course, but that was rather obvious, there was another Ravenclaw on his mind that time, "...Congratulations! You were pretty good at that Championship game." He should know, he was the Keeper.
Amazing, though, how he didn't ask about her year.

She smiled. It reminded her of the past terms, when she'd do those things...
Her mind wandering ended when a girl came into the compartment and asked if she could sit there. Annie nodded, "Sure...come in." She replied with a grin and pointed to the seat couch in front of her while she patted Copito's head as he stood up in the presence of the girl.

Looking out the door of the compartment Kyle made a slight squeak noise. The guy she had been avoiding was right outside. She felt like disillusioning herself right then and there but that might not be a good thing. Maybe stepping into the rest room she could change out of her robes and blend in with all the older girls in the school with well, similar looks to hers.
You could see the panic in the girls eyes as the gryffindor seventh year walked past the door. She then looked to the quiet little second year - going third year and sighed feeling sorry for interrupting an already awkward conversation. Panic, and regret were two things that didn't go hand-in-hand.
Feeling brave, well in that awkward instance she spoke her tone hushed. "Hey if you two want to - because I know traveling can be annoying and sometimes the leaky cauldrons expensive...well, my aunt's got a flat in Diagon Alley - you can stay there before the train next year if you like....you don't have to obviously," She offered kindly and awkwardly. "Anyways, Kurumi - right? I hope you have a nice summer." She offered smiling.
She decided to try and slip out of the room without being noticed - but first she'd have to wait till that certain person was in a deep conversation and wouldn't notice her.

And the smell came. Those candies were the calling for the cat that immediately let go of her owner and jumped from one of the seats to the other, making Annie shake her head. "My cat...he's...addicted to candy. So, I advice you to either hide the bag or share, or he'll bite...or scratch..." Whatever Copito had to do to get the candy.
When was Copito going to learn?
"I'm Annie...last time here, and you are...?" She asked, stretching out her hand.
