Elyon felt so strange to not have the feel of her robes billowing behind her. True, Selina had hurt her feelings a bit at the Great Hall, but she wanted to cherish her last moments with her best friend in the whole wide world! Unless they were ever able to visit each other over the summer (which was very unlikely, nearly impossible really), it was quite likely they may never see each other again. But Elyon still was clinging on to that last strand of hope for returning to the school again.
She kept waiting for Sely's approval to enter with all the patience she could muster, as she really wanted to see her best friend.
Selina looked up and saw Elyie sitting there outside the compartment door. Pulling herself out of her book she unlocked the door and let her friend in. She knew that her behavior was not the best in the Great Hall during the last feast, but in all honesty Selina did not want anyone to talk to her then. Her and Adam had had their last falling out. Their friendship was done and Selina knew that. When Elyie had approached her she didn't want any company.
Turning to her friend she said, "Look I'm sorry about what had happened in the Great Hall. I appreciate you wanting to help me but I don't want anyone to be involved in what happened back there. It's behind me now. I am sorry about blowing you off though. You're a good friend."
